WiLLCo ElectronicsScam

I ordered a computer from them on Overstock auctions. The item was totally misrepresented. They use a lot of vague wording to advertise the item. They go on and on about how it has been upgraded and is internet ready and has more memory. the item that arrived had Windows 2000. In the box was a 5 page disclaimer that basically said it wasn't going to work with anything. Also, that just because it was advertised as having an internal modem and Ethernet capabilities that didn't mean that it could be used wirelessly. Basically, the only internet ability it has is old fashioned plug in the phone line and use dial up (which I don't have). It also has a bad battery that won't hold a charge. Another disclaimer is that it probably can't be upgraded either.
They absolutely refuse to give a refund of any kind.
I paid through paypal but they are no help. In their opinion, I ordered a computer and go a computer so that is it. It doesn't matter that it isn't what was advertised or that it is defective.

This is obviously a duplicate (text copied verbatim) complaint posted by the same person (using a different name) on 03-17-09 in an attempt to fool buyers into beliving that this business has more than one complaint. Should be deleted.

An internal modem and Ethernet capabilities do not infer wireless capability. The internal modem infers that you will need a telephone connection to use the modem and "Ethernet capabilities" infers that you can connect the machine to a wired Ethernet network.

I'm afraid it sounds as if you didn't really understand what you were buying.
