Listen you see it the time and all over the internet I don't care what anyone say No agency is not suppose to ask you for anything money up front why is it so hard to understand Wilhelmina wanna charge for all these fees before they represent you that's not right marketing fees pictures clases Fed x delivery etc... nonsense the only thing they charge for is a certain percentage when you work that's it this agency is no better then onesourcetalent, the it factor colby models cup talent connect and any other agency that charge thats why they still in business becouse nobody's doing anything about it like yeah we invest but invest in time not money the money that they want is money that every one dosent have if you truly believe in that person you should invest money pay for pic headshots etc...and take it out of they check when they work or invest in them and take a percentage out when they work all this bs marketing fees for this and that really listen I already have professional heatshots and I be damned if im going turn around and pay 2000 and something dollars kiss my ### that goes for any agency that's doing this type of bs and Wilhelmina said that they will call to be accepted well either way they re not doing me any favors whether you call or not I don't care.

Signed a contract with them for 2, 000 impulsively. ten hours later i wanted my money back, because i realized i wouldn't be able to handle it with college. They would not give me my money back... not like they did anything to help my career in modeling anyways, probably just spent it on themselves.
I still want my money back Wilhelmina & I hope you give teenagers their money back, because i think you would want your own sons and daughters to be given that chance and be treated like real people.

Wilhelmina of PA Philadelphia is a hands down professional agency operating with the cooperation of the mother agency. This is how the business has evolved to give new people a chance to get into the modeling industry. Now that I have great photos at least I enter the market with a bit of confidence. A lot of the people complaining here (like myself) choose to remain anonymous. For those that do not - one should Google them and consider the source before you believe what they are complaining about.

May be that agency is legit but they make you pay money up front, the photographer did a job but photos could be better. Then promise that they will take care of your career. You believe them and think that OK to pay because they are just starting and it is not easy. Then you contact them couple of times, nothing. Then they tell you to look for jobs yourself and mention them so they could take their 20%. The agents change and every time there is a new one, they ask that you get in touch. Nothing happens anyway. Why promise, take money?
