Whirlpool dishwasher middle rack has broken twice after fixing and the soap dispenser is not opening completely to wash the dishes. The dishwasher is not 2 years old and the amount to purchase new parts expensive and on backorder so i will not be able to even use the dishwasher for 5 months. This is unacceptable for a new product.

Whirlpool Dryer

We purchased a dryer in October 2020. In March of 2021 the circuit board went out. A service call was made and the part was ordered. Six weeks later the part is in and replaced. Before the tech left the motor went out. Again, a part was ordered. Two weeks later and the motor was replaced today. Before the tech left, the circuit board went out again. Now looking at another delay in getting the circuit board. Called Whirlpool and they will not replace the defective dryer!

Whirlpool brand new refrigerator is not working 3 and 6 months later plus terrible customer service

I purchased a Whirlpool - 24.5 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator - Stainless steel Model: WRX735SDHZ, SKU: 5790000 on September 23rd 2020 and three months later it completely stopped cooling and all of our food was room temperature. We called a tech and he apparently "fixed" it. Well on February 11th the ice maker began giving us issues and would not freeze and started to just leak out of the door area, then we noticed it was freezing solid and ice would not come out at all. We called a tech out again and they came on March 11th. He did not fix anything- he just said he had to order parts and would come back to fix it. Here we are over 2 months later and no call or email about the parts and we still have a defective refrigerator. I have called the service line but was given the run around about our parts not being in and they had to contact the tech... blah blah blah. I am requesting a full refund or replacement of this refrigerator. We bought it and 3 months later it stopped working and again another 2 months pass by and it is not working again. As a loyal whirlpool customer I am appalled at the terrible customer service and I do not feel comfortable recommending the brand any longer due to the unresolved issues.

I'm sorry to hear of your frustration and can appreciate your feelings.

Unfortunately all appliances can run into issues and when it happens, it's generally unexpected. These past several months have been extremely difficult because of the Covid-19 issues we've all been dealing with.

Check with the retailer you purchased the unit through. Many offer additional services that would help in this very instance. A good retailer can make all the difference in the world.

Whirlpool Maytag dryer

I purchased a washer and dryer unit in October '20. The repairperson dispatched explained the damage to the dryer and stated the parts would take 7 days to arrive from Whirlpool/Maytag. I spoke to a supervisor at MayTag and he was not much help stating complications associated with COVID. I'm asking you look into this and expedite the parts or exchange the unit for a good one. Whirlpool Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine lid shattered six months after purchased from Lowes

12/21/2018 my Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine was delivered. The following April, 2019, the lid shattered. Factory warranty replaced the lid. Again Feb. 2020, the lid shattered and my Extended Protection Plan replaced the lid. In Nov. 2020, it shattered again (protection plan) and I taped it over and over until this month, April 2021, it shattered to much to use the washer. I am currently waiting for my fourth lid, which I know will also shatter in time as I was told by a service man there is not enough traction and the lid is on too tight. Who is responsible for this lemon? Whirlpool says they are not and the Lowe's protective plan says it's the manufacturers. What a sham.

Whirlpool Dishwasher

Absolute worst warranty/service ever!

Months to fix a repair. No show no call!

Feel we should have warranty extended to cover unnecessary delay with out a dishwasher.

Whirlpool reps "Aaron from Tennessee" and supervisor "Jay" both basically said no big deal cancel your warranty if you're not happy.

Well Aaron and Jay, we will cancel purchasing any whirlpool item and discourage everyone else to do the same.

Desired outcome: Extend warranty 30days (min) for unnecessary delay

I'm going to write a review anywhere I find a place to write it so people will know not to purchase this oven. This is the only bad review I have ever written but I don't want others to deal with what I deal with daily with this oven. When we bought it a couple of years back I was suspicious of it not holding the temperature. I called the store where we bought it and they sent a tech our who spent at least an hour here testing it. He assured me it was working properly. But as the year went by this is what happens. I preheat it to the desired temperature. Tonight it was 450 to just brown pizza dough for a pizza I'm making. When it was preheated, I put the pizza pan in with dough only. I know now that when I put the food in the oven to immediately set the temp again just to be sure its accurate and normally its 20-25 deg less than it should be. Within 10 mins, I check it again and its down to 375. I put in 450 again and this is the game I play the entire time the food is in the oven. I constantly have to check the temp and reset it to be sure it stays where I put it. Drives me crazy. Don't buy this oven!

Whirlpool Whirlpool Repair Service Awful Experience

My wife and I had bought a whirlpool refrigerator along with a three year warranty at Home Depot two years ago and have taken great care of it. Unfortunately, my refrigerator compressor stopped working which resulted in my freezer and my ice making machine to stop functioning altogether. I tried calling customer service but they were very unprofessional and berated me for not having my phone on me even though I've had my face stuck on the screen all day waiting for them. They insisted they call but they never did. It seems to us that they do not value their customers and did not receive the desired service at all. As a result, my food have gone to waste and I'm left with dysfunctional refrigerator. We are not happy with the service outcome and would like a follow up on it from the company itself.

Desired outcome: Fix our refrigerator we have a warranty in place.

Whirlpool I am complaining about the bad service we have received about our damaged whirlpool stove

We went to Lowes to purchase a Whirlpool Stove on July 21, 2020. We settled on a Whirlpool double oven stove and paid over one thousand dollars for the stove. It was delivered by Lowes August 3, 2020. We used the bottom oven several times. We used the top oven 2 times making frozen pizzas. Some of the cheese dripped onto the bottom. Once it was cooled my wife was cleaning it out and, thinking she was wiping up burned cheese, noticed the pieces she found were in fact pieces of the enamel coating. on October 2, 2020 she attempted to call the Whirlpool customer service number to wait on hold over 10 minutes. She went online and used live chat trying to find out the next step to service the stove/oven. She chatted with a representative who transferred the live chat to a care expert. The care expert gave me the information to request a service person to come out and examine the stove. On October 27, 2020 received an email from Solutions Specialist Brenda, 7729051996, with information to schedule the appointment for service. We contacted Groves Appliance Repair and set up the appointment for November 19, 2020. On November 11, 2020 received an email from Whirlpool confirming the appointment. November 19, 2020 the repairman, Adam, from Groves Appliance Repair arrived and examined and took photos of the oven. He then called the Whirlpool service repair representative, Kathy and talked with her and sent photos of the damage. Ashley, with Groves Appliance Repair faxed the information and photos of the damaged oven from Adam to Kathy. Adam told us we should be receiving an email from Whirlpool confirming the replacement of our damaged stove within 48 hours. We received 2 emails on November 19, 2020 from Whirlpool. However, they were congratulating us for purchasing our new stove, not to replace it. On December 1, 2020 my wife called and spoke with another customer service representative and this chat occurred Wed, Dec 9

March 9, 2021 my wife did call the customer service only to wait on hold for 25 minutes. She attempted calling again to wait for 30 minutes before ending the call. Now, at this point, having been told they tried calling, not emailing which is how they contacted about this issue, to be told they closed our file because they attempted calling and we did not reply back, we only want this resolved by replacing our damaged stove. Your assistance is GREATLY appreciated.

Whirlpool Refrigerator

We bought a whirlpool fridge not even 3 years ago and it has already given up the fight. The fan stopped working and iced up the lines and. We had a tech come out, and he said there is nothing he can do because whirlpool has stopped making parts and there are none to be found. We spent over $2, 000 on this fridge and it now is nothing but scrap. We called whirlpool customer service and they pretty much said that there was nothing that they could do. The tech also stated that whirlpool products have become nothing but junk in the last 5 years. This company should be embarrassed by the products they put out and even more their horrible customer service.

Desired outcome: I don't expect anything to come of this.

Whirlpool does a good job with their appliances, including that of their refrigerators. It's unfortunate you've run into a problem.

Have you spoke to the retailer you purchased the fridge through? They may be able to help.

Whirlpool Cabrio XL washing machine

I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer from Costco July 2020. It was delivered on July 8th. We also purchased the Allstate 4 year extended warranty from Costco when the Whirlpool 2 year warranty expires . It stopped working and would turn off and on and flash multiple codes when I could get the power to turn on March 2021 . I contacted Costco and they set up a service provider to come out . That appt took 2 weeks . Once the repairman reported the parts needed and was told it could be two weeks to get the part in and they would contact me to set up the repair once they received the part . This washing machine is barely 8 months old . I called back to Costco and explained the repair service company basically told me it could be another two weeks if not longer . Constitution contacted Whirlpool abs they said they would 2 day Fed-Ex the part. What Whirlpool was not forth coming to explain they didn't even have a part located or know when they could find one . I found this out a week and half later when I called the service provider to check status on the part . They had no record or tracking number on the part . I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Costco going back k and forth w whirlpool and finally I asked Costco to conference call me with whirlpool . They said they had 21 days to locate a part . I told them this was unacceptable because that meant it could be another 3 week before the repair . It has been 5 weeks since I've had a working washing machine that is 7 months old ! I asked to speak with a supervisor at this point and they told me there was non readily available and a supervisor call back request was then made and I could expect 24-48 hours to get a call . That is my current status as of today ! April 7, 2021 !

Desired outcome: A date of repair scheduled within one week , or replacement washer if they still cannot find the part , or they can rent me a washing machine until the repair is made immediately!

My wife ordered this refrigerator in October. We did not receive the refrigerator in till February 6. The refrigerator worked for two weeks February 20.Set up a service call approximately A week later a service tech showed up, figured out what the problem was, ordered the part. It is April 5, 2021 we have no parts for the refrigerator no contact from whirlpool. We have contacted whirlpool several times throughout the months, there are no answers. On when this will be resolved. I will get on every form and I will give you a very lousy review, as if you care. My family has been using a ice chest for a refrigerator for the first month then I went out and bought a used refrigerator it is working better than this new one, we will never buy whirlpool again you do not back up your warranty claims

Desired outcome: We want our money back are those [censored]ing refrigerator fixed.

Whirlpool Washer model wtw5005kw0, serial number cx5101054

We took delivery of this new machine on Jan 7, 2021. By March 29 we noticed that there was no agitation during the wash and rinse cycles. The machine was also making a burning smell coming from the lid lock mechanism. That explained why our clothes were not getting clean. I am afraid that this machine is not only poorly designed and non-functional for cleaning clothes, but is also a potential fire hazard and danger to my family. I made a Youtube video showing the problem and sent the video to Whirlpool customer care.

I got no response from them except an apology and instructions to contact my nearest repair shop which is 116 miles away in Bessemer, AL. I am in Huntsville, AL. My wait time for service is 10 days. However, I suspect that the machine is performing as designed and I suspect gross negligence, incompetence, and perhaps even deliberate deception on the part of the Whirlpool Corporation. I asked for my money back and they refused. At no time did they offer to investigate my claim of fire burning smell or machine design flaw and unacceptable poor performance.

Whirlpool Maytag dryer MED723OHWO

On May 5, 2020, I purchased a Maytag Washer and Dryer from Grand Appliance in Waukegan, IL. They were both delivered and installed on May 12, 2020. On March 4, 2021, the dryer completely stopped working, so I contacted Grand Appliance to have a repair man come. The earliest possibility was for a service call on March 9. He discovered that the problem was the control panel and needed certain parts in order to fix it.

Since that date, I have contacted Maytag Consumers, to no avail. Grand Appliance has been in contact with Whirlpool, who now owns Maytag, to get the part or to replace the dryer. My husband has been in constant contact with Whirlpool and Grand Appliance for a resolution. Whirlpool has made the decision that they would not replace the dryer and that we would have to wait for the repair part, which seems to be unavailable at this time, with no date of when it would be available, but could be sometime in the summer.

Both my husband and I are in our late 70's, so it has become a real burden for us to do our clothes drying.

Whirlpool Whirlpool washer

We bought the whirlpool washer and dryer a couple months ago. The dryer is ok but the washer is horrible. It doesn't clean the clothes. Had a GE washer before, it lasted 8 years and it cleaned perfectly. I would not recommend this washer to anybody and will never purchase another Whirlpoo appliance. We live in a new development and most have GE. Your people should check out GE's performance compared to your Whirlpool crap.

Whirlpool Aqua clean the worst

This is the worst cleaning oven I have ever purchased! It doesn't self clean! Not only that it stains very easy! This is a very expensive oven what a horrible change! Big mistake whirlpool what a piece of junk!
When I called technical support they weren't suprised I called I guess everyone is disappointed with their purchase! They told me they would send me an aqua cleaning kit! 3 months later (4 phone calls) still no kit! I called customer support again and they seem so lost and confused. Not really interested because obviously the kit doesn't work. This is the worst oven I have ever had in 30 years! The bell isn't loud enough, the glass is stained The self clean is useless, the bottom drawer keeps popping open! Cheap and very disappointing!

Whirlpool New range damage - cannot get settle with whirlpool

Model #WGE745C0FS01 Serial # DX1710257. We received our new range August 3, 2020. I noticed after using it to bake a frozen pizza there was what I thought was burned cheese on the bottom of the top oven. When I went to clean it out, it was very hard. It was pieces of the enamel from the bottom of the oven. I tried calling several time, the Whirlpool service number only to hang up because I stayed on hold for 25 minutes each time. I went online 10-02-2020 and had a live chat and was transferred to a care expert who gave me the information to request a service person to come out and examine out range. On 10-27-2020 received an email from Solutions Specialist Brenda - [protected], with Information to schedule the appointment for service. We contacted Groves Appliance Repair and set up the appontment for 11-19-2020. On 11-10-2020 received email from Whrilpool confirming appointment. On 11-19-202l the repairman Adam came and examined out range, took pictures and spoke with a representative, Kathy, with Whirlpool. Ashley with Groves Appliance Repair faxed the information and photos of the damage from Adam to Kathy. Adam told us we should be receiving an email from Whirlpool confirming the replacement of our damaged range. We received 2 emails on 11-19-2020.
