Whirlpool brand new oven does not work

Our appliances were delivered during kitchen renovation. Once we were ready to plug them in, we immediately got a ERROR message on the oven -- F3 E0.

I have tried for two weeks to call customer service and been on hold forever to never talk to anyone. I asked to be called back and no one called me back!

I emailed for service 8 days ago. No one has gotten back to me!

I WOULD LIKE MY BRAND NEW OVEN TO WORK!

Please contact me ASAP.

Whirlpool Refridger

Your products are terrible for the second time the refridgerator I bought 2 years ago from Baldwins appliance in hopkinsville ky has quit working the whole fridge wasted all my food again not offered a replacement refridge but may take up to 2 weeks for the parts to come in to fix it serial number HRX1775751MODEL WRS325SDHZ04 I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHIRRPOOL APPLIANCE OR WJORRLPOOL ANYTHING ANYMORE USED TO BE ALL I WOULD BUY BUT THATS OVER

Whirlpool Whirlpool Dehumidifier

I have always purchased Whirlpool appliances. The last purchase was a dehumidifier a little over a year ago (can't find the receipt).

Model# WDH70EAPW

Serial # [protected]

The unit sounds normal, runs all the time, but not taking moisture out of the air.

The air filter was checked and cleaned several times with no improvement.

I have the humidity set at 50% and the humidity in the room is about 65%.

I have no error codes, no sounds like ice build up, and no leaks. The unit does not blow fuses or smell hot.

Appreciate any help in resolving or replacing.

Whirlpool Whirlpool side by side unit

I have had bought extended warranty, since we bought this unit new, it has been serviced 5 times, 4 times, same issue and it's still same issue and getting worse. last time I contact whirlpool, they told me i was 1 week out of warranty and they would not do anything about it. I paid a lot of money for this side by side refrigerator and the ice in in the ice bin is freezing up in one block of ice, can't use ice dispenser or open door and get ice, I need to know why whirlpool will not do anything about it.

Whirlpool New Whirlpool (bought in Oct 2021)French Door Refrigerator

I recently bought refrigerator model 25 MSSAT also known as WRS315SDHZ and had problems from the beginning. The product manual described 4 different kinds of ice makers. After a couple of hours on hold, I got the ice maker to function for several months. Then I saw an indicator that I needed to change the water filter. The manual described 2 different alternative filter locations, I finally figured out where my filter was located and I changed it out. Now, the ice maker no longer works, the freezer is not cold enough to keep food frozen safely and the refrigerator is too warm to store food safely. I filed a warranty claim a few weeks ago and have been waiting two weeks for a warranty rep to show up. I am left with a non working refrigerator and freezer.

Desired outcome: Fix it or haul to the dump and refund my money.

Whirlpool 30" Wide Top-Freezer Refrigerator Model: WRT148FZDW

BUYER BEWARE! Worst large purchase experience ever on Whirlpool.com! Whirlpool Customer Service could market their skills for psychological torture to the military! I had a perfectly working 17 year old refrigerator. I purchased a new one as I deal with severe health & energy issues & wanted to avoid any problem. What I got instead was MY $900 NIGHTMARE! Person who installed my refrigerator argued about reversing the doors (part of what I paid for & required in my tiny galley kitchen). I insisted to he completely ruined my refrigerator & left the refrigerator door so damaged it is only partly sealed. I made 4 calls to Customer Service, then Repair Service, then back to Customer Service on Friday. There was no help whatsoever from the screen readers. I was told if I have the door repaired then I can't return & replace it even though it has a large blackened scratch on the interior. However, for the return/reorder the item was backordered & could take 4-6 weeks! Then everything was closed for the weekend & I was left with my unsafe food. After hours of getting no help at all I was sick and in tears all weekend. I called the delivery company directly myself yesterday and they sent someone out to try & adjust the door. The installer f*cked it up so much it cannot be adjusted or corrected at all. He told me he would document & I needed a new refrigerator immediately. I received an email from their website Saturday that the refrigerator is back in stock. Five or more phone calls today to Whirlpool to try to expedite the delivery since MY REFRIGERATOR DOOR DOESN'T FULLY SEAL. Still unresolved at this point; 5 days since received. I have been a loyal Whirlpool customer for over 30 years. NEVER AGAIN!

Desired outcome: Immediate delivery of replacement & a large cash courtesy discount for the hours & days of hell I've been put through.

Whirlpool Dryer WHD560CHW2, MA0804043

Dryer threw an F9E2 Code in the beginning of Jan 2022. Took the appliance service provider 2/3 weeks to get out to me. Dryer was purchased and delivered Mid May 2021 so was under manufacturer's warranty. It took them 4/6 weeks to get the parts (Pump & Control Board) and another 2 weeks to install. Dryer was then still not working, and parts ordered again (Thermistor & sensor). Called them to schedule for service again because dryer will only damp dry (basically wet) one king size top sheet and then just quit heating. Next attempt to dry - dryer can run for 3 hours and the sensor states items are still WET. They state this is normal... it is not and all I want is a replacement standard regular dryer - not another $1600 heat pump dryer. The Whirlpool tech told the service provider to tell me to wash and spin my clothes on highest spin possible and that this is normal. I disagree and now my warranty from manufacture has passed it's one year period. I have requested service once again stating that this problem started during the one-year warranty and they should honor that. Still as of May 22, 2022 Dryer is not working as it should.

Whirlpool Freezer

Bought a freezer April 2021. Freezer stopped working fed 2022. Lost over 400.00 dollars worth of food. Reach out to whirlpool. They send a conpany out march. Tech orders part and and weeks later another tech comes to put in. Come to find out wrong part ordered. Here it is May and no eta on part. So contact whirlpool again and told a new freezer with warranty will be delivered in 2 weeks. Here we are going into week 3 and nothing about freezer. I spent way over 500.00 on this freezer, lost 400 in food and 4 months of run around! I will never buy whirlpool again! Company is horrible for customer service! 😕

Desired outcome: I want a new freezer with a extended warranty as promised. For inconvenience replace or give gift card for food

Whirlpool whirlpool side by side model number WRS588FIHV00

My mother purchased a whirlpool side by side, model number WRS588FIHV00, serial number HR72812080 on October 21 2017. She has always bought whirlpool and never had a problem. She is 86 years old and was hoping this is the last refrigerator she had to buy. Two to three weeks ago the ice maker quit working so we called a repairman to come out and fix it. He was not able to fix it. He said it’s a design problem. The wires in the bottom freezer door are broken and he said eventually the rest of the refrigerator would break down too! He said he had been to several clients homes with the same problem, then I started googling about it and there are multiple complaints about this happening to the side to sides by whirlpool. I called customer service and she wasn’t very helpful. She said we would have to pay for a whirlpool repairman to come out which could take up to 12 weeks and then she didn’t know if it could be fixed. Then I asked her if we have to buy a new one (which we don’t want to do) has whirlpool fixed the design> She said she has no idea. This refrigerator is only 4 years old amd should last way longer . Whirlpool Microwave even

Both my neighbor and I got the Whirlpool Model WMC 50522 when we purchased our new homes here in Florida.

Both of our units blew up. Ours went on high when you closed the door and nothing would turn it off other than opening the door.

Same with my neighbor’s unit.

Both were out of warranty – one year is pretty short – so we had to buy new units from you so as to use the existing mounts and surrounds.

You must be aware of problems with this model.

We are 0 for 2.

Hope you can help.

My replacement was $330.

Whirlpool 30" Wall Convection Bake Oven WOS72EC0HV

Purchased the oven January 30, 2021 for around $1,900; first repair was March 2021; broke February 2022; and now I am forced to take a buyout of $1,400 from the extended warranty because the oven, which is still in circulation and selling, can not be fixed. There is no replacement board with the software for the oven to operate. The oven is now $2,300.

Desired outcome: A new oven because a new oven is now $2,300.

Absolutely sorry to hear of your current circumstances. It's frustrating when appliances don't work like you want them to. It is true that everything has went up in price and many parts are not easily available, if at all.

From where was the unit purchased and with what warranty is the buyout occurring? I'd assume you have both the receipt of purchase and the terms of any extended warranty in writing. Can you provide such?

You may have a so-called silver lining in all of this. If you absolutely know of the part that is required, you might search for the part yourself. Even though there may not be one within the distribution channel, you may likely find one as NOS (new old stock). Check someplace like eBay and then get the same servicer to install said part.

Whirlpool Cabrio model wtw8127lw

New cabrio delivered hose flew off of washer to drain tub flooded floor.. Called delivery guys came back in 30 ininutes said they fixed. Put in a load flooded from bottom of washer... I called delivery and told them I have to order another brand.. Gave me a number for case claim and women today said to call you they said manufacture problem with clamp; on hose and also washer itself for two floodings!

Get someone out here to wash and mildew off this rug! Or replace rug!

So very sorry to hear of your frustrations.

From where was the washer ordered? The warranty on any particular unit may not offer the option for exchange, let alone for another brand. It's the retailer that may make a difference.

The water in the rug may offer a good opportunity to use the washer. Have you tried to do a thorough cleaning to make it good as new?

Message: Hi I contacted you a few week ago re damaged to my floor caused by a washing machine flooding you have replaced it with a new one but there was damage to the floor and a rug I sent pictures to you and a quote but I have not heard anything from you?

Whirlpool Whirpool Model WRS588FIHZ04 Refrigerator

I purchased a new Whirpool refrigerator 4/28/22 ($1700 from Lowes) that advertised air filtration system. When I installed according to the manual and start-up it stated install the filter. It was not included. I called Whirlpool to request a filter. Whirpool stated I had to buy. Customer care is very rude and slow. They do not care about customers and they are misleading about their refrigerators. Do not buy them.

Desired outcome: Whirpool needs to provide a free filter per the advertising/manual/install or stop misleading customers that they have an air filtration system.

That model does include FreshFlow Air Filtration. The first filter is included within the same package as the manual and warranty information. If this wasn't the case, contact your retailer. They should be able to assist.

Whirlpool KitchenAid refrigerator

On March of 2022, I purchased a Kitchen Aid refrigerator from BestBuy. Two months later the compressor went bad. The technician was unable to order a new compressor as it was on back order with no estimate on when it would arrive. BestBuy informed me they needed a replacement confirmation number from Whirlpool in order to replace the refrigerator. Whirlpool refused to provide the number stating the compressor was ordered and they put it at the top of their priority list. However, they admitted the compressor could take as long as 21 days to arrive. As such, we are now without a refrigerator for possibly three weeks.

Desired outcome: A replacement confirmation number so I can get BestBuy to replace the refrigerator.

Kitchenaid makes some great appliances. Unfortunately any product can have issues before one might expect. It's especially frustrating with the global pandemic. Most manufacturers are having issues with part availability.

Most retailers, under such circumstances, would gladly provide a loaner fridge until your's can be serviced. Check with them to find out. If not, check with other local retailers that may have a clearance section. You should be able to pick up a secondary garage fridge very inexpensively. That should take care of you temporarily.

Please, let us know if that doesn't resolve your issue.

Whirlpool Whirlpool refrigerator model# wrf535smbm00

I purchased my Stainless Steel Model number WRF535smbm00 less than 5 years ago. There are hairline cracks in all of the plastic framing for the shelves. Literally every piece of plastic has several cracks. Poor quality and Whirlpool will not replace it. There are no recalls for this issue. Their position is that it is out of warranty. While this is true I would expect a Whirlpool to have better quality in workmanship and certainly would expect this to be replaced.

Whirlpool Whirlpool standalone freezer

I purchased a new whirlpool standalone freezer (Model WZF34X18DW ) from Lowes on March 13th, 2022 and it broke after 3 days.

The freezer was installed by Lowes and had a failure within the first week after it was installed. We contacted Lowe’s and they refused to accept the freezer as a return due to a 3 -day only return policy. We the contacted Whirlpool customer service and requested a replacement, which was a fair request in our opinion due to the immediately failure of the unit after purchase. We were told by Whirlpool customer service that there was no replacement policy, and the unit would only qualify for repair. As of now, the freezer has not been repaired and is sitting in our basement completely unusable. We were told no replacement parts are available and there was no estimate provided as to when we can expect a repaired unit. Additionally, we had 250 dollars’ worth of items that were spoiled due to the failure of the freezer.

Desired outcome: Request Whirlpool to replace with a new freezer or expedite repairs on the purchased one.

That's a nice freezer. 4.6 out of 5 stars represents a good choice.

Once a problem has been confirmed by an authorized Whirlpool service technician, if parts are not readily available to service the unit, they are generally fine to provide a return authorization (RA#) to the retailer.

It's been frustrating with parts not being readily available since the beginning of the global pandemic. Freezers, themselves, have been just about impossible to get your hands on for the last two years. It may actually be quicker to obtain the parts than to replace the unit. Because the purchase was made with a retailer, any exchange must be coordinated through them.

Did you purchase the extended service package with the freezer? If so, confirm whether the additional coverage may allow for an exchange. Please let us know if it does not.

Whirlpool ywmha9018hz

Purchased otr microwave new. Has had multiple issues since new. Shuts down, freezes, reboots randomly, screen freezes and often is non responsive requiring a power cycle and reboot. Whirlpool has replaced the door, the power board, all switches and main control board. Still has issues. Whirlpool has been on site over ten times in the last 18 months the appliance is a lemon and should be replaced. Two years of a product that doesn't function is ridiculous. Their last offer was. 10 percent off another whirlpool product.

Desired outcome: Replace the appliance with one that works
