Westlake Financial Services Interest rate for service members

I have ran across a problem with a used vehicle that I purchased through Chrysler of Lawerenceburg KY which did not even last 30 days. I purchased the vehicle on 06/13/2022 and the vehicle broke down on 06/28/2022. The vehicle would not start again. I paid a mechanic $100 to diagnose the problem and it needs a new engine. It would cost $4,500 to replace engine with a used engine. The dealership refuses to take the vehicle back and return my $6,000 down payment. I in turn contacted Westlake Financial to see how they could help and was told they had no control over that. After doing some research I found this statute. Benefit and Protection No. 1 – The six percent interest rate cap. 50 U.S.C. § 3937

Not only am I paying on a vehicle that should have not been sold in the first place I am paying 24.52%.

Desired outcome: I would like to have this contract void. And I would like the $6,000 down payment back.

Westlake Financial Services the process payment for my account

I have spoking to several people about payment. I have ask for them to not go in the account because they don't take my card the card on file but every months they go in my account and I have non- sufficient funds and this been going on since the very first payment. I have call and call but I keep getting all kinds of answers I was told that it’s no card or information on file but every time I call about my account they tell me about the NSF

Westlake Financial Services Lien release

Brought a car that was paid off . Just need to get a copy of lein release . I'm the 3party . But if I have title information and you can see it has been payoff for 7yrs. And you are still on the title you should be plated.

help me if previous owner is n/a and I everything to prove I have the title. This is the only thing holding me from getting license plates.

Westlake Financial Services They stole 14,000 from me

I made payments for 2 years always on time and sometimes double the payment due. They did not apply one cent to my principal. I had no clue even until I started looking at my online account. I contacted them trying to resolve it several times. I ended up having to refinance my loan to get away from these crooks! They took 14,000 for my auto loan and I never seen my balance go down on my loan. I don't know what to do but I would like my money back that is owed to me. So glad I am done with this company. If a class action suit is started I want to be notified.

Also the loan was overpaid when being paid off and closed and they need to return that money too!

My grandchild purchased a car from omg here in columbus, oh….. Grandchild put $3000.00 down on an $11000.00 purchase….. After two years of payments, she had still over an $8000.00 balance….. My daughter and I called west lake financial to see why and they said they charge $5.00 every day in interest….. So, we paid, after $3000.00 down and two years of payments, $8,139.13, to pull my grandchild out of poverty with a never-ending contract with legalized “hustling”….. Who approved this “scheme”…? Something is definitely wrong with this picture….. I could have co-signed with something more presentable had we, I known…..

Westlake Financial Services Deferred Payment

I called today which is June 29, 2022 needing to get assistance dealing with a payment. I asked the guy about getting a deferred payment for this month and I was told NO! I only was given two options, extension or move my due date back which is not what I need and it wouldn’t be helpful. I’ve never had a late payment before and it’s been 3 1/2 years! I’m so upset! What car finance company you know that doesn’t offer a hardship. This is ridiculous! Please don’t finance here if you ever having a hardship! The guy was very rude! Not helpful!

Westlake Financial Services Vehicle loan

Got an auto loan from Westlake. The payment schedule ended up not lining up with my bills. For 3 months the loan was set for autopay for the 17th of every month. Was usually 3 to 5 days before my paycheck hit the bank. The bank would kick it back so I was getting charges nsf from my bank. I called Westlake customer support hoping to change my loan due date to the 26th of every month from the 17th. They would not allow this the only option they would allow way the 2nd of every month. Which don’t help at all considering a payment was just made for the 26 with acquired late fees and I would not even have another bi weekly check by the 7th. Very disappointed in the fact that this bank has no interest in helping at all on this. Very sad and not helpful

Westlake Financial Services Payment

On 6/13/2022 a payment went out for $424.64 went through my bank account when it shouldn’t have! I have my payments set for the 25th of each month. This lead to me becoming negative and owing the bank for it. Which in the end screwed me over because if I get a refund I still need to pay for my car this month and the bank which I am still very upset about. I shouldn’t have to pay for something that your employee did when I didn’t otherwise her to do and made sure to tell the employee not to touch or move anything around. But in the end still managed to do. I want something to be done about this I would like to receive a payment for what this mishap has done. And want some action taken towards that employee. Since she is the reason this all happened. I want to make sure this dose not happen to me again.

Westlake Financial Services Missing insurance check

Recently my vehicle was vandalized. My insurance issued a check for repairs over $3600 in my name and Westlake Financial. So I overnighted the check to them per the CSR’s instructions and was advised the company would endorse and return within 5-7 business days, and no I didn’t endorse it before sending wasn’t gonna risk that. I used my own money to have the truck repaired believing what I was told. It’s been 2 business weeks, multiple calls later, waiting and calling again, nobody there knows where my insurance check is, nobody. Yesterday I was told we will have an answer for you tomorrow. Guess what…..the answer was call back next Monday. Absolutely disgusting customer service and it’s impossible to get around them and find anyone in the actual corporate office

Desired outcome: Honor what your CSR’s are telling people. 5-7 business days have long gone past. Find MY CHECK, it’s not yours ITS MINE, MY MONEY. Find my insurance check, get it endorsed and back in my hands asap.

Westlake Financial Services my car

I recently went through you guys to finance my first car and I am very upset, I have never had so much trouble dealing with anyone as I have with you guys , I had a double payment come out of account this month , Yes, It was on my end but it my defense i was just worried about a late payment because it took you all almost 5 days to take my car payment out after it was due , So while i tried to fix my information and make sure everything was correct like one of your employees instructed me too , I ended up making a double payment , I have called multiple times to get my refund just to hear twenty different answers that did not match up , ranging from getting it that day to 5 , well it has been a week andd now there telling me you have to wait 5-7 business days in after i got my confirmation email which was just now today . I really hope nobody has to deal with them , I called very upset multiple times and the care was not there at all . now im nervous that you all still have my money and have access to my accounts because i do not trust this place at all. you were quick to take it off as an extra payment i made .

Desired outcome: please give my refund and better customer service .

Westlake Financial Services Car loan

I was in a car accident, the next day this company towed my car for being in an accident (without telling me). My payments are current, I was never late. My insurance tried to pick up the car to fix it, westlake refused to release the vehicle until tow fees were paid, my insurance tried paying the fees but they refused to release the vehicle, they kept giving us the run around. Turns out that westlake had my vehicle auctioned the same week! This has been a nightmare. I lost my car, the insurance won't pay me because they never got an estimate on the damages, and I still owe the car!

Desired outcome: I want My Vehicle Back!! An Apology!!! I want this car loan off my credit report! I didn't tell them to take the car , I was current on all my payments!!

Westlake Financial Services Repossessed car after sisters death

My sister died on November 8, 2021. She financed a 2016 Nissan Sentra from Westlake Financial Services (WFS). After her death, my niece and I called WFS to report her death. We specifically asked rep Michelle during the call for details on the loan, payment information, etc., so the family could determine if they wanted to keep the vehicle. Rep Michelle said she could not give that information out, and that we needed to email a death certificate. I emailed on December 13, 2021. After that email, we never heard from WFS - nothing. No phone calls, emails, written correspondence - nothing. I sent several emails after that requesting an update. No response - crickets! I called the auto dealership she bought the car from. They put me in touch with an internal sales rep, Ana Linares, who forwarded my email to the customer service/collections department. There were two individuals included (Nicholas and Julia). Neither replied to the emails. I emailed Ana again and she included two others in addition to Nicholas and Julie (Karina and Angelica). No replies to the emails. Then, on May 18, 2022, the car was repossessed with no warning! And, now, we just received a notice of intent to dispose of the car. They state that my sister 'broke promises in their agreement'. WTF! She is dead. They are saying we have to pay the back payments, penalties and repossession expenses, which we will not pay. How can any of this be legal? What legal rights do we have?

Westlake Financial Services associate asset recovery

My name is Bonatine Smith on may 17th my truck was repoed by associate asset recovery i got my car back on May 23rd they had to use jumper cables to crank the vehicle when i got the car home and turned it off it hasnt crank since then today is May 25th i used jumper cable to crank it again the whole dash is lit up my check engine light the air suspension system light is on i called my mechanic and told him what was going on with it and he said it was the way it was towed and that all lexus suv should be towed with a dolly or flat bed the vehicle drove great before i had no problems with it because i had just had some work done to it they flat towed the truck i called them told them what was going on she said all they do is pull and park cars but they also went into a locked car and threw all my personal items into a trash bag if cant get satisfaction here then i will be getting a lawyer my number is [protected]

Westlake Financial Services Horrible financial service!

Absolutely the worst company that you can use to buy a car has to be Westlake financial they do not care about their customers at all they only care about the monthly payment. They gave me the option to pay off the remaining of my car which was 1500 and the next day which was Easter they repossessed my car which led to a lot of financial struggle. I asked if I could pay that amount in full but since they repossessed the car they said I had to pay twice that amount which was almost 14,000 it was just ridiculous I have no words to say about this company but hopefully one day they go out of business.

Westlake Financial Services auto payoff

iI sent you a payoff on my vehicle and your company refuse to post payment immediately due to continue charging me daily interest. The funds were sent certified and they ask for it to be send overnight and provider me with overnight address but wants to post it 3-5 days out, unexceptable.

Desired outcome: FOR THE DAILY INTEREST TO STOP ON THE DATE THE PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED

Westlake Financial Services Title transfer

Please look into why the title has not been sent to PA title and tags as per there request. My new jersey registration had to be renewed at a cost of 75.00. And trying to talk to some one about this matter at Westlake is like rolling dice. I have moved from New Jersey to Pennsylvania had the request done correctly by the agent and waiting for the title to be sent to them to get PA plates and Registration. Westlake Financial Services Alleged loan

The contract that I have for my 2015 Honda Pilot, states the security interest secures payment for all debt owed for the vehicle. That means that I do not owe Westlake Financial anything. I also know that Westlake Financial did not loan me any money to buy my vehicle. My negotiable instrument/ promissory note is what funded the whole transaction. Every statement that I have recieved is in a positive amount which would mean I do not owe anything. Stating that I owe anything when providing me a statement that has a positive amount is in violation of 15 USC 1692e (2) (a).

I am being told that I missed payments and need to make a payment but the lawful definition of payment is - "made to further the commercial development of oil, natural gas, or minerals." So I am not sure what I am being asked to do. As I was speaking to a customer service representative today asking for clarification I was told "okay so don't pay and we will take the car. I was threatened into making a"payment"which is in violation of 15 USC 1692d (a). Also I was told that I took out a loan with Westlake Financial for my car and that I have to pay the loan. I stated if I took out a loan that would also be known as a chattel mortgage which I could rescind the whole transaction. I was not provided full disclosure, and was given misleading information. The contract I have states"no cooling off period"but also states that the"no cooling off period" does not apply if you buy a used vehicle from Seller-Creditor located in New York City and if I did not decline my option to cancel. I purchased a used car from a seller creditor in Queens which is part of New York City and I never declined my option to cancel. I was never given the option or documents to decline. Also the finance charge is the sun if all charges pursuant to 15 USC 1605. My insurance and insurance should of been included in the finance charge which it was not. That is a direct violation. I am rescinding the while transaction. Westlake Financial have violated multiple federal consumer laws against me.

Westlake Financial Services Gap insurance and extra warranty

Purchase a vehicle and financed trough westlake upon arriving home and reading all the papers I realized dealer had added a couple of optional things almost totaling $2000! I contacted Westlake less than 24hrs after purchase and was told to fill a couple of forms and signed them and I would get a refund of the amount since a had 90 days to cancel….. here we are 9 months later and dozens off calls and nothing! Every time I call they tell me they don’t know why my check hasn’t been sent and I should get it within the week, I’m so tired of this company, I just want what’s rightfully mine

Westlake Financial Services Ford fiesta

8/28/2019 Carfinances Services LLC refinanced my 2017 Ford Fiesta Sedan with Westlake Finance Services

I called on a Friday to make payment and the guy says the car was paid off by dealership. Insisted I still made a payment and check back on Monday. I did as he asked called that Monday and was told I wasn't getting my payment back and talk to dealership. Could not tell me anything and hung up on me.

This is not customer friendly they are liars, thieving, crooks and I'm sure in cahoots with all the crocked greedy, thieving dealerships for a profit. its not a good feeling to work hard for your money and even at a struggling level invest in something better even when money is tight. for this finance to take my money and allow someone to payoff my car and take it with out contacting me or allowing that to happen and insist I made a payment.

bad reviews from me and all that know me. Your company are thieves.

Desired outcome: payment friday, tricked to bring car saturday and never got car on monday. basically told [censored] you from your company and dealership. This company owes me $312.73 + processing fee another cahoot rip off the people scheme.

Westlake Financial Services Dual accounts on one vehicle from

Got a new used car three months ago, made the first two payments on time on account [protected] and then get a letter stating my account is delinquent, the account number on the notice is [protected], tried to talk to csr but she said I needed to make a payment and the. was talking to another adult in the room and also arguing with a child, got frustrated with her and hung up, called back the next day and explained that I am not delinquent on [protected], I find out that there is a second account on the same car, talked to a supervisor and on March 11th the payments are moved to [protected] then I set up autopay for [protected] on March 14thI find out that a person by the name of Delores Carter drafts my account for 327.27, 50.00 and two 5.00 services charges putting my in serious overdraft, the 327.27 dropped off but the rest remained, now I keep getting emails about account [protected] being delinquent and when I call I keep being told I have to make a payment this has been going on for 3 weeks now, why do I have to keep dealing with this issue why can’t one account be removed as a supervisor told me it would be, I don’t want Westlake to use the delinquent account as a excuse to take the car
