Westinghouse Electric Westinghouse 24 inch LED HD DVD Combo TV

Purchased on 6/17/2022 from Walmart with an extended warranty. The DVD player does not work. At 3/4s of the way through, it freezes. If I had read the reviews prior to this purchase, I would have seen that this is a known problem that has yet to be fixed by Westinghouse, as they continue to sell this defective TV. In January I spent 6 hours on the phone with Allstate (the warranty company) trying to resolve the issue and determine if it was fixable. It was not. I have then sent and responded to no less than 18 emails from Westinghouse saying point blank and confirming that they are not going to honor the warranty on this product. The last email I was instructed to contact Walmart for a refund. I contacted Walmart who refuses to refund the price as it is out of the 90 day window -- the perfect catch 20/20. You're not aware of an issue and by the time you are, you have no recourse to refund.

Desired outcome: I paid $139 for this TV/Combo and an additional $16.00 for the warranty. I want a complete refund.

Westinghouse Electric TV

I purchased this smart TV of Westinghouse through Amazon India on 09/02/2023. After around 48 days on 01/03/2023 TV stopped working. I made a complaint on westinghouse India complaint center through mail. Engineer came to visit at my office on 02/03/2023 and told me that TV card is malfunctioning and has to be replaced. Now after 16 days of so called customer service I haven't received a single piece of proper information when I am getting the issue resolved. I am just being told that the part has been dispatched and in transit since last 7 days. I guess part is being manufactured and then being transited through a bullock cart as it has taken so much time to just reach my office that is 60 kms away from the warehouse of WestingHouse India.

It is a direct complaint against how WestingHouse India is being run here.

Please address this as a serious matter and get this reloved.

This piece of junk will not start, I have run it every month since I got it and the starting has become more difficult each moth, until now it will not start at all.Please let me know how to fix this problem. Extra charactors to get this complaint to be long enough to be accepted.

Westinghouse Electric Roku 55 inch Tv

The Tv would constantly freeze, Not show a picture and a few times I turned it on and had No Sound! So towards the end it stopped coming on all together, I contacted Customer service more than 11 times in the year that I had the tv! They tried to make me pay to have it taken to a recycling place before giving me the refund, so I filed a BBB complaint, and Ivett Gomez from corporate emailed me & I was told that day 4/6/21 that I would receive a warranty refund, and that She submitted it that day. I was told that it would take 20 days to process, and another 7 to 10 to receive the check after getting an email telling me that the check was on it's way, she also told me that She had nothing more to do with it from there, and that Customer Care would be the place to contact to follow up, and find out where they were in the process, but when I call them they tell me that it's in Corporates hands, so basically they are playing games! Corporate (Ivett Gomez) and Customer Service keep batting me back and forth! I was told by Ivett that I/We cannot speak with the finance department, and only Customer Care could help further, but that is a LIE! It's now day 41 in this 30 day Lie, and I have NOBODY to help me! It should not take more than 30 days to send me the check! They claim that China has to ok it, and than it goes to Corporate in California, and from there the 7 to 10 days mailing process was supposed to happen, but according to Customer Service as of 5/13/21, "I should wait the 20 days and the 7 to 10" That's all she kept saying even though, I kept reminding her that it's been 41, and said "So I am supposed to wait another 30 days as of today? But she began to over talk me, and not let me speak! She kept repeating the same thing, and saying that Corporate is the only place that can answer my questions, but that is a lie as Ivett Gomez basically told me not to contact her, because she can't help me! I am searching for a lawyer right now, I plan to legally go after them if I have not received my check by the middle of this month!

Desired outcome: The Refund check that I was told via email that I am to be mailed! I have emails from her stating this very fact!!

Same issue with WESTINGHOUSE 55INCH ROKU 4K TV bought from Big lots. this Westinghouse roku 55inch 4k tv has a green horizontal line at the bottom..had to reply to an email which at 1st the Indian customer service agent sent to the wrong email since they didnt know how to spell properly..I called and spelled phonetically my email and waited for the email to arrive in inbox w rep on the phone.

I sent pics of receipt and tv/serial numbers as requested.

I will update if and when they refund me.

Westinghouse Electric Tv

Purchased on eBay (bestbuy).
Best Buy's warranty was 15 days & Westinghouse is one year. Tv failed. Westinghouse house said return it to them,
But shipping from Virginia to California was not cost effective. Next Westinghouse said take it to a salvage yard & provide them with pictures, which I did. Westinghouse said I would receive a refund within 20 working days. This has been on going sense last November!
Westinghouse has not responded to my last six emails for updates.

Westinghouse Electric ncco air treatment unit - model no.. sp6390

I am very dissatisfied with this unit - bought last august 2020 it was running fine but about 5 days back, the unit was showing in red light "eco" ncco. - so I got a new "westinghouse ncco hepa filter" exactly like the original one. However, this new filter did not solve the problem at all.
I read the operation manual and followed all instructions several times over and over without any success. I cannot take this product back to where I bought it from, so what should I do now? Is it for garbage now?

I have the same problem. Bought last August 2020 and it was running fine then about a month ago the unit was showing a red light and would stay on #3 speed with NCCO underneath. I have not replaced any filters as they all seem fine and life of filters is not up yet. Followed instructions in the manual and did not fix the problem.
Please advise what can be done as I need this due to health problems.

Westinghouse Electric wgen5300df generator - defective product with no customer support

Purchased the generator on 10/20/2020, had the electrician and propane tech out to set up and install. The propane tech hooked the generator up to the underground propane tank. However, the generator will not start using the propane fuel source. Suspect maybe an issue with a gas valve? He verified that the unit has propane going to it and the unit will run using gasoline.

He placed a service call on Nov. 27, 2020 to Westinghouse but has yet to hear back from anyone. I have called Westinghouse and left a request for support, I have submitted two online service requests with absolutely no response. Unit is brand new and does not work, Westinghouse isn't responding to any request for warranty service.

Westinghouse Electric 58" roku tv

I purchased a brand new tv from Best Buy. I didn't have time to set it up for a while between work and travel. When I finally took it out the box (outside of best buy 15 days return window), the tv didn't work. No picture on the screen. I filed a claim with Westinghouse and provided all the required information, photos and proof of purchase they requested. They then requested that I take this television to a recycling center first. Then provide proof that It was recycled before they refund my money. I refused! They're selling defective products and then having customers jump through hoops to get their money back or a replacement under the warranty. This has to be illegal. I will never purchase anything from this [censored] [censored] company!

Westinghouse Electric Fridge

Dear luluhypermarket,

I bought the brand new westinghouse fridge just 3 months back from lulu hypermarket riyadh Avanue mall and since 2 days my fridge isnt cooling well and things are getting spoiled because of low cooling and today i went to lulu and raised complaint because its unwarrenty and they informed me that soon warrenty people will came and check but it will take time. So my question is here how long i should wait and why should i wait for buying new electronics. Until warrenty guyz will come i should lock my home stay outside without fridge we indians can not be in kitchen and we buy new electronics just the trust of warrenty. Please need to take serious in this matter.

Westinghouse Electric Television

I purchased a westinghouse television in june of 2018 from jc penny. It stopped working in december. On december 17 I filed a warranty claim with westinghouse. After complying with all of their proof of purchase and other requests, I was told to ship the tv to their warehouse in canada (at my own expense). I shipped the tv on 1/4. They confirmed receipt of the tv on 1/15 at which time they stated that I would be advised, of whether they are replacing the tv or issuing me a refund for the purchase price, within 5 days. When I didn't hear from them for a month I followed up. On 2/13 I was advised that a refund check would be issued within five days. Since then I have communicated with them two more times and still not received a refund.

Purchased clothes washing machine
Made in Turkey distributed locally by Ocean Trading
Purchase date is Feb 2015...
The machine stopped suddenly and the service group of local agent were called for assistance last December
No results till to date..
Extremely poor service provided and poor assessment to the while situation by service and customer care ...
They recommended a new machine to be purchased instead of repair ...since they believe that Westinghouse are short term appliances lifetime is max three years then replacement..repair cost exceeding the price of new machine .. I am a retired manager have little stuff for washing not a family ...
Poor communication with staff in this agent reflecting no field experience...the first machine can be used as spare stock for a new one for potential tech.issues...Can't believe this is the policy of Westinghouse...!

Westinghouse Electric 55 inch television

I purchased a 55 inch television from Best Buy. It was a Westinghouse . After about 9 months the tv stopped working, I was told to contact the manufacturer about the tv. After several e-mails approximately 45 they finally told me I would have to send in the damaged tv in order to receive another one. I finally shipped the tv at a cost of almost $200.00 dollars after not hearing anything from them in about a month I finally contacted them, and I was told a month later the tv had physical damage and therefore they would not be sending me another tv for replacement. I tried repeatedly for them to resolve the issue and just give me a credit so I would be able to purchase another tv, they refused. I feel like they take the customers money and the product is defective. They are not willing to work with the consumer once they have your money. I will never ever purchase anything from Westinghouse. Very disappointed in their customer service and their product.

Westinghouse Electric Kitchen splash shield upc [protected] number 6100076

I purchased this Westinghouse splash shield to put up on the wall behind my cook top and below my microwave oven. First it was a bit bent on one side but as I needed to cut it I decided it would not matter. I installed it as per the directions on the box. It was very flimsy as I pressed it into the adhesive I put on the wall. It went up easily but showed many imperfections and waves in the surface. So I used a rubber roller to smooth and press the sheet to the wall. It made no difference. After a few hours of walking around the kitchen I decided that this splash shield looked so amateur and so unprofessional I had to rip it off the wall which was no small job as the adhesive was setting up. It is presently mangled and laying in my back yard. This product is absolute junk and should not be sold anymore. I am requesting a refund from Westinghouse because this product does not fall into the quality category that Westinghouse normally provides. I purchased this Item from Menard's in South Bend Indiana on 12/3/2017. The purchase price was $37.78. Please reimburse me for the cost of this product. If you want it back, as I said earlier, it is all mangled in my back yard.

Westinghouse Electric Service complaint in turkey regarding my white westinghouse fridge problem

Hello.

I would like to report a service problem which has frustrated me a lot and came to a point that I am about to start feeling very distant with the brand and discourage my friends about the brand, even though I have a good history and strong roots with it.

I call this unexperienced service problem! My fridge is a giant one (see attached) and the temperature was out of control in the deep freeze. We invited the service of our district (see attached) a couple of times, were always assured that they knew how to repair the particular issue, but without any solution until today (almost 2 months). Can you imagine how challenging it is without a deep fridge with two young children! My fridge became a trial-error board. Needless to say, we were always charged (550 TL (140$), 250 TL (60$), 90 TL (25$), 400 TL (100$)) so today what we paid in total equals to a good, local brand fridge cost.

To cut the long story short, I am too much frustrated now but would like to give one of the White Westinghouse Service Teams, but an experienced one pls, not the existing one, a final chance to visit my home and repair my fridge without charging me any cost.

Westinghouse Electric Oven glass shattered from normal use

My family dinner was ruined last night as the 'tempered glass' in the door just shattered. Glass pieces were strewn all through my kitchen and amongst the food and throughout the oven. I rarely use the oven, as I have a convection oven and usually dine with my parents in the 1st residence. I cannot understand how this could happen? I have taken numerous photos and wish to complain... replacement door, someone to investigate. At this point the door is ajar as I am afraid to try to open fully or close. I have had to block the kitchen area from children and pets and obviously need some resolution asap.

I purchased a Westinghouse 48" television in May, 2015. 9 months later, the "set-up" wizard screen repeatedly pops up in the middle of viewing, making it impossible to watch even a 30 minute program without repeated interruption. Westinghouse has informed me that the product is defective and acknowledges that the television is under warranty. The expectation should be that Westinghouse will fix or replace my television.
Unfortunately, I received an e-mail from Westinghouse March 3, 2016 stating that in order for them to honor their warranty commitment to me, I must, at my own expense, package and ship this 48" television back to them. This is of course completely ludicrous. Obviously, living in a 1-bedroom apt with limited storage space, I have not kept the packaging from this product for 9 months! It is completely unreasonable to expect me to somehow package and then pay to have their defective product shipped back to them before they will honor their warranty responsibilities!

The notion that a major company like Westinghouse is unable to work with any local businesses to fix or replace their lousy merchandise is ludicrous! This is nothing more than a sleazy attempt by this company to weasel out of its warranty responsibilities!

I want Westinghouse to work with a business local to me to repair my television or remove the defective unit from my home and replace it or refund to me the full purchase price including tax.

Westinghouse Electric They didn't provide warranty

We purchased a LED TV from the company Westinghouse. It was the worst deal, because they at the beginning couldn’t deliver the TV on time. Later, when we finally got the TV, it turned out that they didn’t give the warranty, but if we wanted it, we needed to pay. Seriously? We bought the TV, which cost us $500 and no warranty. It was some scam and this company is real rip off.
