Westgate Resorts horrible

We were very excited to visit the resort and prepared to invest in a timeshare property because of the amount of money we currently spend on vacationing. Upon arrival, the check in process seemed to have gone smooth until we reached the room. The guest services rep. said our room would be a lake front room on an upper level floor. When we arrived to the room, it was on the 3rd floor facing Turkey Lake Road (the parking lot). We went back to the welcome center to let them know that the room we were promised was not what we had received. The counter rep. and on duty manager were both willing to rectify the problem. They assigned us to another unit. We arrived at the unit escorted by a maintenance person and found the room not prepared for our stay. There were no linens on the bed, no towels, or toiletries in the unit. We called the front desk and they assured us that they would prepare the unit to satisfactory status. We proceeded to go to dinner in the interim. When we returned, we to found garbage bags with towels and toiletries on the dining room table. The bed in the bedroom had been made. We made the best of it by putting away the towels, etc. The next morning, we had an 8:00 tour scheduled. We arrived to the Welcome Center promptly at 8 am and was not called to meet with a Tour Guide for approximately 45 min. At 8:45am, I inquired as to why we had not yet been called. We were then escorted upstairs to have a light breakfast and meet with someone. The Tour Guide arrived to our table ready to share all the wonderful offerings of the resort to realize that she had been given the wrong customer information. It took about 15-20 min for her to track down our information. In the meantime, we received several calls from the resort during the presentation as to why we were a no show. By that time, we had spent almost 90 minutes with no tour. We had planned our day and was very displeased at the lack of consideration for our time. The Managers on Duty at the Front Desk and at the Welcome Center were both shocked at the service we had received. We shared pictures of the experience with both managers. We left the escort at 10:35 complimentary shuttle to go to Universal Studios. We did however have a great time at Universal Studios on Saturday. On Sunday, we decided to enjoy the amenities at the resort before departing. We woke up early to go fishing. We checked in, got our reels only to be informed that the ONLY person with keys was not available. The gatekeeper arrived 30 minutes late and offered the waiting customers no apology. This was one of the worst experiences ever.

Westgate Resorts booking / reservations

On May 20, 2019, I called Westgate to take advantage of the exchange fees deal for $99 and a reinstatement for $155 was being offered. The site indicated the deal expired on May 20th. Usually it means to the end of the day or the customer line closes. I called at 9:15pm-9:30pm and was told the deal had expired.

I didn't argue but proceeded to book a split reservation for Las Vegas and Williamsburg. I was able to book Las Vegas with no problem. However, I was told there was no availability for November and December for the Williamsburg location. I had checked before calling and there was availability. When asked when there was availability, I was then told I couldn't book on a split week. Then I was told I could only book a split week at my home resort or at least that is how I interpreted what was said. I elected to not book the 3-day stay at that time and would call back after looking into other dates and locations.

When I called back I was told that when I did not book the 3-day stay when I booked the 4-day stay in Las Vegas, I forfeited the 3 days of my 2017 week. I was not told that by the previous representative, nor have I been able to find such a clause in anything I have received or have access to with Westgate. Had I know that I was forfeiting days I would have just booked Las Vegas for the entire week. The second representative just kept trying to get me to book my 2019 week. I decided to do my research and find out more information about booking and then call with lots of questions before booking my 2019 week. I also wanted to consider banking the week.

I own at Westgate Leisure which is not a very desirable resort with it's maintenance and cleaning issues and no free wifi. I just can see flying to Orlando to stay at Westgate Leisure for 3-days, when I can drive to Wiliamsburg for the 3-days. I have not used my timeshare much as I suffered memory lost and didn't realized I had a Westgate timeshare until a few years ago. The contract is paid off and I pay my maintenance fees on time. I would like to use the timeshare the way it states in the Owner Guide and as I was told when I bought. The split week was a big sell for me as I don't like taking 7-day vacations.

I have booked and stayed at Williamsburg twice with no issues. What has changed that I wasn't informed of?

I would like some resolution to this issue. It is not too much to give me the 3-days I have paid for and to follow the process indicated in the Owners Guide. And, customer service representatives need to be trained to inform customers of anything thing that will affect them being able to book their week, even a split week.

Westgate Resorts total scam

In 2014 I bought into Westgate in Gatlinburg. This is by far the worst decision i have ever made. I sat through a tour of high pressure salesman's( several different ones throughout the day). They promised so many things, that later i learned was all lies. They gave me all kind of certificates and vouchers to have extra stays. They even said that "with Westgate, anywhere you travel you will have a place to stay because we are everywhere". That was a lie, because on several occasions we had to travel to other locations and called months in advance to book in those locations only to be told that there was nothing available and that we need to call at least 1-1/2 years in advance.
After a long day on that tour they eventually broke my wife and myself down and we purchased. I paid the full amount of this. I took money out of my 401K because thay assured me that the investment was great and that i could turn around and resell the property 2-3 times more than what i paid after a few years.
They showed me around in the cabins that was very large and had me to believe that these are what i was purchasing. Later i learned that what i actually purchased was some small place that "locked off" with other units.
So to sum up everything: I PAID $15, 000, HAVE NOT USED THIS TIMESHARE OR ANYTHING ELSE ASSOCIATED WITH WESTGATE, AND I HAVE A GROWING AMOUNT OF MAINTENANCE FEES THAT ARE PILING UP AND A DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY BREATHING DOWN MY BACK FOR A SERVICE THAT I HAVE NOT USED ONCE. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!
I do not know where to go or what to do to get anything done. It hurts to see that much money just vanish. I feel like such a "sucker".

Westgate Resorts filthy hotel room

We checked into "villa" #134 on 3/29/19 Acct. # was [protected]
The room was an old, bare bones guest room. We had to drive to the main build to get fresh towels and climb to the 2nd floor for ice. On the 2nd day we came back to the room to find it not cleaned and someone had been in the bed. There was a perfect (dirty) head print on the pillow. The trash was still in the cans and a dead bug on the bathroom floor. We checked out and had to stay at a more expensive hotel. What a terrible experience!

Westgate Resorts / supervisor drug use and related criminal record.

This complaint involves night supervisor, Yvonne L Osborn at Branson, Missouri.
On 03/12/2019 7:14pm I received a text from Ms Osborn requesting me to ask a mutual acquaintance for drugs(meth) for Ms Osborn. Supervisor Osborn was working at Westgate at the time of the text.
I was unable to reach Ms Osborn's connection resulting in Supervisor Osborn belittling and insulting me via cell phone, text messages, and Facebook. I still have the texts and Facebook posts.
Supervisor Osborn has past drug convictions and quite possibly falsified her employment application. Supervisor Osborn has many aliases and uses different ages and locations on the many date sites she frequents online.
Yvonne L Osborn told me her date of birth is 01/15/1963. I have personally witnessed supervisor Osborn partake in meth use several times in the past 2 months.
If you have questions please email me at [protected]@gmail.com

This complaint is not resolved. Will provide additional information in a day or two. Supervisor Osborn has fits of rage which she takes out on subordinates at Westgate. Supervisor Osborn just missed work last week saying she was sick when in fact she was partying at the apartments where I reside. Will provide proof shortly.
Thanks for your concern.

Richard, you and Yvonne must be spun out again. If you check the rest of the story you will find that I own that property and burned it myself. I pleaded no contest to criminal damage to property because I didn't take down the electric meter. She still living under a tree?

Westgate Resorts promotional tours

I was visiting the Florida Welcome Center and was asked to take a tour of Westgate properties in Orlando Florida. I informed Connie that I was already a timeshare owner and was not interested in purchasing another one. I was told the presentation was just for information to pass along to my friends and family members and in return I will receive discount tickets to a theme park. This was supposed to be a 90-minute presentation. Upon my arrival at Westgate I reiterated the fact that I own a time share and was not looking to buy another one. I also inform the individual that it was my birthday and I didn't want to spend all day at Westgate. After a hour and 45 minutes I reiterated it's my birthday and I was ready to go. Needless to say I was held hostage for over 3 hours. I couldn't just leave because I had not reviewed my tickets that I made a $60 down payment on. Once the repsentive realized that I was true to my word and was not going to buy he became very rude and hostile. This cause severe emotional stress and anguish. I was so upset it ruined my 55 Birthday. To top it all off, when I checked my account I had been charged twice. Now no one can get me to right department or personal to correct. When will this nightmare end?

Westgate Resorts hotel, parking, cleaning

First please know I am a disabled Air Force Veteran that has 2 titanium rods, 6 bolts, 2 false discs and a neuro stimulator implanted in my spine so I can walk. I asked at check-in if parking was an issue and her response "I have never heard it be a problem" had I know about this parking fiasco, we would not be staying here. We were not advised of garage and cart transport either at anytime. So I was required to park 3 city blocks from my room after check in and drag all mine and the wife's bags to the 3rd floor room 234B (parked by activities center & room was in 200 bldg). Then we asked for extra pillow as my spine was in agony! It took 1 full hour before they arrived (we had given up and were asleep by the time they came). We were supposed to have internet but they "forgot" to set it up so another thing we did not get till later in the stay. We then received NO cleaning services the next day and when we returned the parking was so bad I had to park by the check in. Your assistant front desk supervisor said "I can't do anything we have told them about the parking" did not touch on of the other issues. So here I sit in absolute agony with my spine and will now have to return home to Tampa, Fl because I am hurting so bad. The company paid for the rooms for the conference or I would be even more upset but effectively Westgate has ruined the vacation the wife and I were trying to workin with this conference. She will now have to spend it alone (4 more days) while I go see my doctors about my back being thrown out. I am sure the guys at my Legion Post will love to hear about this. Seems a lot different than the reason we came here, which was that Westgate valued Veterans, not feeling that at all. Feel exactly the opposite and as I was just a wallet that needed opening, emptied and thrown to the side. I am sure this go nowhere but felt the need to put it in writing so if the 1 in a million chance happens that someone will even care you will know what we have been put through

You bought in March of 2019? that would mean your FIRST stay in an every other year would not be until March 2021.. You bought ODD YEARS... If you want to use it every year YES you would have to buy the other half. In my instance Ill take the every other year rather than pay for the other half I GOT A DEAL ON MY UNIT.. I would not pay the price they are asking .. Just my opinion why pay 32, 00 for the OTHER YEAR when I got every EVEN year for 8, 000.. total cost plus maintenance and taxes of approx 600/year?

Westgate Resorts bed bugs inside my hotel room

Checked into the Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas on October 25, 2018 through October 28, 2018. The morning of 10/28 I discovered a bed bug walking across my sheets. Security was contacted and the hotel escorted my friend and I to a less expensive room. As guest we were not accommodated at the time of check out. We were told to call the next day about the incident. I spoke to the director of risk management and she was not sincere nor was she empathetic about the situation. She accused me of bringing the bed bug in with me. She also stated that the room was checked and there was not any evidence to prove there was a bed bug. My friend and I both had hard evidence to show that there was indeed a bed bug as well as bites. She was rude and short patient. I felt so humiliated and disrespected as a guest. No accommodation was given beside a refund on the resort fee. As a guest I know for sure that a full refund should have been given to us. What a terrifying experience. I am highly dissatisfied as a customer and guest.

Westgate Resorts timeshare

We went to a sale seminar about the resort. And first off I feel like we were pressured into it. It's Westgate in the smokies that we got a condo at then it burnt down so we were never ever able to use. Then Westgate contacted me saying they wanted to transfer me to Orlando Westgate and I told them that we wanted to see them ones so they were supposed to have someone show us around at that one. We got there and nobody showed us where to go. Very aggravating. Here we have put all this money out for nothing. Westgate resorts is a crooked company.

Westgate Resorts being placed in a substandard unit, twice, which caused physical and emotional distress.

I booked a banked internal exchange from Westgate Villas, 2- bedroom unit to Westgate Branson Woods. I booked the date in July 2018, for around my birthday, September 30th -October 7th 2018. I paid the internal exchange fee. And was told I would receive a two bed room unit. When I arrived at the resort on Sept.30 around 7:30 pm. After travel two days, a total of 13 1/2 hrs. By car. I was given a map with my unit circled on it and diracted to go find it myself in the black night. I told them that I have night blindness, and could not understand how to get to my unit. They didn't care they showed me the map again, and I went out to find it. I drove around for 1/2. And stopped in front of a unit with a truck in front of it. I was afraid it would be the wrong unit and afraid for my own saftyy. So I called the front desk. And told her I was afraid to go up to the door because it might be someone else's door and I didn't want someone to harm me. I was told to come back up to the front desk. I did and they gave me another map and Verbal directions on how to get there. I told him I did not know where I was gone it was so dark I couldn't see anything and I had already gone to the wrong unit and was lost. They just show me the map again and sent me on my way. Again I am driving up and down very dark roads without any lights other than my car. I was afraid and I wa verbal directions on how to get there. I told him I did not know where I was going it was so dark I couldn't see anything and I had already gone to the wrong unit and was lost. They just show me the map again and sent me on my way. Again I am driving up and down very dark roads without any lights other than my car. Alone and afraid I tried to find my unit but couldn't . After about 30 more minutes I stopped a shuttle bus and tried to ask him where the unit was. He called into the office and they told me to come back up there. I went back up there and they gave me another Matt and told me where to go. I told them I have been looking for my unit for at least an hour and I was tired and frustrated. Again I ventured out to try to find the unit I thought I found the unit but I wasn't sure and was afraid to go in again. So I called the front desk and ask them if they could have security make sure that was my unit. By that time it was 10:00 PM and I noticed my tire was going flat. I knew I had would have to call AAA, pack, as settling in. I called AAA and started to carry my belongings into the unit. Preoccupied by my car situation and very tired and frustrated.I stepped in a unit, Caught AAA, and begin to unload my car. It was it until after AAA came and help me with my car, did I noticed The strong smell of mold in the unit. I looked around the unit and saw that it was very unclean and unsanitary. By this time it was after 11:30 PM. I called the office and told them that I was highly allergic to mold and that I had asthma and allergies. I told the young lady that I didn't know if I'd be able to stay in the unit or not that night, but I would definitely have to move to another unit without mold. This was Building number 36 I don't remember the unit number. I also have fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis and I have had three knee operations and one in the last three years. I was so tired I knew I could move anywhere that night I couldn't even think straight. I had an A and B units so I looked at the A unit upstairs, it didn't seem to have as much mold in it. It had a good size the makeshift air-conditioner/ air purifier in the floor and connect it out of the window. So, I thought that I would be all right at least until the morning to move. I called the person at the front desk, and told her that I would move in the morning. I did not unpack I just took a few things out and went up to the a unit and went to sleep. That was about 12: 30 or 1 o'clock AM. I went to bed. I was awaken around 2:30 or 3 o'clock in the morning by the sounds of scratching in running around the room and behind the bed. I thought that it was my service dog, getting water or food or using the bathroom on her pad. But my service dog was right up under my chin curling up and moving around next to me. She was afraid of something. I realize that it was something in the room running around and scratching and I was terrified. I tried to call the front desk, They told me the last time I had talk to them that they would be open 24 hours. All I got was a busy signal. I then called my brother in Michigan who is an exterminator. He told me that it was mice in the walls and maybe run around the room. I am deathly afraid of mice! I have a phobia and a fear of mice! I was just paralyzed with fear! My brother didn't call me back until about 6:30 and he had to calm me down, and talk me in to of getting out of the bed. I was just tremendously terrified. I tried to call her office again and their line was still busy. Once I got out of the bed, I rushed to get washed up and dressed. I would not go into the shower because it was filthy and nasty so I tried to wash up in the face ball in the water was cold. I had to bend over the tub to wash up with warm water. Eventually the water in the facet became warm after about 10 or 15 minutes. I just tried to get out of there and move my stuff out as fast as I could. With my bags and the belongings in the car, I went back to the check in office and try to report the situation. They told me they did not have any more units available. I started to get very upset and tell them that I could not stay in a dirty moldy unit with mice running around. I they told me that it will be a while and they would work on it. The woman at the front desk eventually came back and told me that they only have one unit available and it was 14 steps. I told her I had rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and two knee replacements in one knee and three knee surgeries all together in three years. I told her I couldn't physically do 14 steps up-and-down for a whole week. She looked at me with a stone face and said that was all they had. I felt that I was by myself in and unfamiliar place with not enough money for a hotel for a week. I feel that I had no other choice but to safe shelter. I said OK, I felt homeless and didn't have anywhere to go. Even though I was in original owner and Westgate from 1990 and was never late with my maintenance fees and pay my unit off in full. Anxiety driven, I left to continue to try to get my tires repaired on my car. That front desk told me they will call me when my room was ready. During the day I realize that I couldn't handle 14 stairs all week and hat then have to drive back to Michigan on Sunday by myself. My legs, knees, I am back began to spasm. I was in a lot of pain from climbing the loft stairs of the other unit, I am moving my belongings in and out of my car.I saw a message at 3:30 pm, on my phone, where the office called me. When I called them back, they told me that a unit was ready. I told the clerk behind a desk that time I realize I really couldn't physically handle 14 steps moving my things back into and out the unit and out of the unit, or even maneuvering in and out of the unit going places all week long. I have to walk my dog three times a day and doing 17 to 30 steps three times a day would put me in the hospital. I realized it would be too much for me. This manager/clerk behind a desk says, "we agreed on this earlier and this is all we have we don't have any more units". I called RCI and they told me they they had six units available at that time. I was in tears. I called Westgate where I own in Kissimmee, Florida. They called down to Branson and talked to someone at the desk. The manager/assistant manager/clerk In Branson Westgate, told Westgate in Orlando/Kissimmee, that they had a unit ready for me with only four steps to get in the unit. Westgate in Kissimmee/ Orlando Florida called me back and told me that they had better suited unit ready for me here in Branson. I was told to call in and pick up the keys. I went and got the keys and the directions to unit 1211 A and B. By that time it was dark again around 8:00 PM I realize when I arrived at the unit that there were 30 steps to the A Side and 17 steps to the B-side. Drained, devastated and being upset because I was lied too. I just began to try to move my belongings into the unit. As soon as I open the door I again smell mold. I looked around the unit and thought that at least the mice are here. I proceeded to put my cold groceries in the Oh worn refrigerator. It was very nasty on the outside when I open the refrigerator door and put the crisper out it was full of standing water. When I pulled the crisper out to empty the water in the sink I noticed that there was a lot more standing water underneath the crisper and it was too much for me to clean. At that time the phone rang and it was a representative from Westgate asking me about coming to a owners update the next day. I told her about the standing water and I told her was too much for me to clean so sheSet a maintenance man out. It turned out that the condenser in the back of the refrigerator was malfunction and it was all frozen and draining wrong or something like that. When the maintenance man pulled the trees out of the refrigerator I noticed There was black mold on the refrigerator trays and I realize that if black mold was in that refrigerator tray, Mold spores were also all through the refrigerator. I was sick to my stomach and then I just started videotaping the whole unit, all the mold and dirt. I noticed that the furniture was not only worn, But it was stained, nasty and dirty. I took a video of this entire unit in all of the unsanitary conditions. I then got out my essential oil‘s and vinegar sanitizer that I made. I put some of it in my diffuser and proceeded to try to sanitize the back bedroom and bathroom as much as I could, with the cleaners that I brought from home.. I did not unpack anything. The whole unit had multiple hours all the way through it.I was feeling very trapped. I was just trying to figure out how I would complete living this week without making my auto immune disease gon out of remission. I just didn't know what to do! I had called the insurance company that I got with this trip and they told me all I could do is drive back to Michigan, and get a doctors note, To maybe get reimbursed. I didn't have the strength at this point to drive back to Michigan yesterday. I have had no rest since I arrived here, I am exhausted and tired, so that was not an option. I went to Walmart and bought paper plates paper, cups, Clean towels, washcloths, Bleach, more vinegar, how shoes & shower shoesThat I knew I would have to throw away when I got home. I also bought a face Mask, and other things that I needed to try to get through the rest of this week. I confined myself to the back bedroom and bathroom. About as much space as it is in a hotel. I then tried to sanitize it is much is possible. This morning I went to the Owners update appointment In the sales office. I tried to tell the sales rep. what was going on. She really didn't pay too much attention to what I was saying until I showed her the videos of the condition of the unit I was in. They all act shocked, which is hard for me to believe. she then brought her manager over. They apologize and acted like they didn't know anything about The conditions of these units, but, they also seem to be making excuses for why these units were like this. They were making excuses about management was new new, and that the unit was "woods " with animals, and things like that. So, I see it what are you gonna do now? Then the manager went and got the head of the housekeeping. She was the only one who really listened, understood, and seem to care. She was the only one that was honest with me and told me that it was no excuse for what I had to put up with. She immediately made a call and moved me in this unit that I am in right now. The sales person seemed a little put back by them relocating me to this unit. The unit I am in now is the same type a unit that I go to every time I travel. This sales rep. told me that i owned a standard unit in Westgate Villas and that's why they put me in a standard in Branson, Missouri. I don't mind them putting me in their standard unit but, I had no idea that their standard unit in Branson Missouri, is one full of mold, dirt, broken, and Warren furniture, and mice running around in the walls. The sales rep. calls the unit I am currently in a premium elite unit. She claims that I have three upgrades from The unit I own in Westgate villas. I don't about any of that I just wanted a clean sanitary unit. So if the only clean and sanitary units are the new models that they have here in Branson then I guess that's all I'm asking for. I don't understand, I asked them for a sanitary unit. I told them I would even take a one bedroom unit is long as it was clean and mice free. I am upset because nobody did anything until I showed the video of my second unit's condition. The manager here told me too me to send him all the videos. He says that he is going to send them to corporate office. The unit I own in Westgate villas. The manager here wants me to send him all the videos. I do not understand why I have to send them to him, without you hearing my entire story. Which he does not know. I feel that I have been lied to, disrespected, ignore, and devalued as As a long time, in good standing, loyal owner who has owned in west gate since 1990. Thank you very much in advance for consideration of this matter sincerely Karen Martin-Carter [protected].

Westgate Resorts my room, housekeeping, bathtub

I arrived on Friday September 28, upon my arrival I found that the room I booked was not the room I received. Three was hair in the bed, peanuts on the floor, a pillowcase behind the nightstand, and a constant running shower. I was reccomend by an owner and I had every intention of purchasing a 200k timeshare. First impressions are priceless, and mine was unpleasant. I complained after only being there for 5 minutes. They moved me to what they considered an upgraded room, and upon arrival to the new room it wasn't any better and the shower was running/dripping also. Another attempt was made after several complaints to move me to another room, thos time though I decided to observe the room for suitability. This room was unacceptable too and I decided not to move again.. The staff was not accommodating at all and really acted like they couldn't care less.. I complained also to the owner who referred me to Westgate she also called to get a resolution to the problem. I kept up my end of the bargain and attended the presentation, and after the presentation Westgate stopped operating on good faith. My flight got delayed by the airline and I had to extend my stay by one day. You would think that after all the complaints that I could have received some type of accommodations that didn't happen either.in closing I would like to say my next move will depend on your next move.
I can't believe that you want me to purchase a 200k timeshare when you put me in a room that doesn't even come close to what you expected me to purchase. I will look forward to hearing from you. I can be reached at [protected].. or. [protected]@yahoo.com Thanks... This occurred at the Westgate Las Vegas

Westgate Resorts timeshare contract/agreement representation

In April 2018 my wife and I visited a Westgate resort property after receiving a discounted rate offer online for a 4 day/3night getaway. At the end of the presentation, my wife and I were very interested and eager to begin the next chapter in our vacation life. I specifically asked the "closer" if at anytime during this payment period I had a financial change that would prevent us from making payments could we cancel. I was told "yes" that the payments could be stopped. In June I had such an event involving one of my daughters needing financial assistance and I could not continue my vacation package. I contacted Westgate resorts and explained my situation and was told that I could stop payments but the payments would continue to accrue until I caught up on what I owed. They would not release me from the Timeshare and I was not asking for a refund or any compensation. I simply wanted to be released and they could keep the $1000 I had already paid into the program. Even before 30 days had passed of my first missed payment they had turned my account over to a collection agency. Upon signing up for the timeshare, we received a complimentary 3day/2night stay at any of Westgates properties. I went online to plan a nice weekend for me and my wife using this gift. I found only about 10 or 12 locations available and none of them were free. Each property required an upgrade which would cost as much as $500. This was very disheartening as I was hoping to take my wife on a mini getaway for her birthday. I am very dissatisfied with the entire process.

Westgate Resorts timeshare

I am an owner of a timeshare at westgate vacation villas for over 25years and I have paid my mortgage in full. I was lied to throughout the sales and throughout my ownership. I was promised my timeshare would increase in value like a home and since I purchased a high demand time such as July 4th, I would make money renting it. My maintenance fees of less than $199 are now $1200. With no cap. I asked them to buy it back and they refused. I cant sell it or rent it as promised. And they have not rented renovated it in over 20 years so their current product puts mine to shame further making mine impossible to sell. I was told that I am the only owner left owning this long since it is expected that people are going to default and they will receive back their product and the person's money in addition I was informed that I am paying the highest maintenance fee of anyone they have seen so far I don't know how that is fair but I need someone to sue so that I can get rid of this problem and maybe get my money back.

Westgate Resorts booking/reservations

In an attempt to book a room for my husbands birthday one month in advance. I was told that those dates were not available but when I looked on line there were plenty of rooms available for that date. So after being put on long holds three times and going around and around with the customer service representative and him refusing to transfer my call to someone with more knowledge and someone I could understand better. He informed me that because I am a member and not an owner that I did not have preference when booking. When I signed up for Westgate I was sold a huge dream about the luxury room I would be staying in all the wonderful amenities and when I asked the customer service rep. about the room he had to put me on hold once again to give me the information about the room and it was not what my husband and I signed up for definitely not a suite but an outdated king bed with a pull out couch bed! I feel scammed! My husbands birthday plans are ruined! Thanks for nothing Westgate I really should have followed my instincts and walked right out of there!

I called due to a ad on a website provided by Westgate saying that Disney tickets were being sold for $59 called and was told to make a reservation for tour and that could get three Disney Epcot and three universal ... but would need to pay 565.00. ... so we paid rep Caroline ... we started getting calls for the next three days asking to verify income, marital status and card details ... gave same info each time ... 4th day was finally sick of calls and went off on Caroline’s supervisor Linda ... she said she didn’t get a completed call of verification ... so I again verified my info ... she then stated that there was a question of my marital status because they had traced my phone number and saw where a call was placed back three months earlier saying the Person was married travailing without their spouse and if they could still do the tour for a hotel stay ... I explained that my mother had called about a hotel stay she had seen on her work site at Westgate and that she had a different middle initial then my own but we had the same first name as it was a family name ... she said oh that’s okay and confirmed everything and sent us an email confirmation for our tour ... fast forward to being on vacation in Florida at Westgate Lakes tour date ...sign in ad end up sitting there for 39 min while everyone who came in after us headed out for tour ... finally their manager Jessica calls me over and says she can’t give us the tour because of descrepency with marriage status ... I’m like what ! I already went over this with Westgate corporate manager Linda and she said it was fine and I was okay to come ...Jessica proceeds to tell me the tour wasnt happening and I wasn’t getting my tickets ... I then Say I want my money then and she days yeah u can have ur money in 5-10 business days ... so I really get upset ... when they took the money out it wasn’t in five-ten business days and we needed the money to go buy legit tickets ... she was all cold and saying I’m sorry we can’t help u ... u can call corporate was all she would say ...so of course I call and they’ve are closed for another two hours ... I’m really mad now ... we gave up $560 and was lied to my their corporate office with them saying we were clear on verification and got up at the butt crack of dawn to drive an hour to Westgate lakes to be denied our money and our tickets ... so Jessica the manager st the location then tells us we can sit and wait for corporate but she knew the answe would still be no... after waiting two hours and trying to search online for my divorce paperwork ...I call corporate they say they can’t refund my money for 5-10 days ... and no tour can be given ...I tell them if the inconvenience we went through after being lied to by their corporate manager Linda ... and they still don’t do anything .. I escalate again and get another manager who tells me u can pay the difference of the $560 of $221 and pay for yeh full price of the tickets which by the way cost more then the tickets are at the gate .. and taking the lesser of the two evils we pay the extra because we don’t want to get screwed out of money we needed for vacation and paid the fee ...so I tell the lady to stay on the phone until we get the tickets from Jessica ... she tells me on the phone to go to the counter and ask for Jessica ... I go up and say can I speak with Jessica the manager ... and the lady behind the desk says ‘yes, please and thank you’ and she stands and walks off ... where do these horrible customer service reps get their nerve ... who in their right mind would get a time Share with these idiots ... so I’m still on the phone and I tell the manger on the phone ‘did u hear that, she was completely rude and for what... that wa smh first time speaking to her’... the phone manager asks me to get her name as she’s building a file ... so I ask the lady at the counter who had been sitting next to her and .. she says I can’t say it’s a different department ... and she clams up ... i tell the phone manager they they refused to give names and she goes on to say that she will get details during the investigation and so u finally get Jessica back and ask her the names and she says she can’t say because her Custer agents are from a different department ... the phone manager then says she can’t really say what’s happened as she can only make out a little info as she’s having phone sound difficulty ... what a joke !... these reps really know how to lie and cheat they’re way out of anything and have the worst customer service and people skills ever !... if they are like this on a tour ... imagine having them as a time share location ... run !... they take no accountability for their own actions and basically lie and scheme to take money off the unexpected !...I’m the end I got my tickets and they too were the wrong ones to the wrong park ... lawsuit and bank dispute in their future from me!
