Western Union Waiting 8 months and my request for transaction history unfulfilled

Dear Sir / Madam:

Your response to my request for my transaction history (AS BELOW) does not make any sense.

It has now been 8 months since I first requested a record of my transaction history, beginning with several letters written to your Toronto offices last autumn. I did not receive a reply to any of them.

Finally, at the end of January this year 2021, I received an email giving me instructions to submit a request to your Englewood, Colorado office.

I took great care in preparing my request and in assembling all the required documents, which was received at your Englewood, Colorado offices on March 18, 2021.

In my package received at your Englewood, Colorado office, I provided everything that was requested AND MUCH MORE, such as:

(1) Completely filled-out Transaction History Request Form with hand-written signature.

(2) Updated valid Identification (ID) with visible signature. (including passport and Canada Permanent Resident Card)

(3) Document that proves your current address such as any of your latest utility bills (not more than 90 days), in case your current address does not show on your valid ID. (in this case, since I am a recent immigrant and do not have a driver's license, I provided 3 years of bank statements showing my address as well + all the WU transactions I or my spouse (Gregory Hawkins, acting on my behalf) have made since 2018.

PLEASE PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE! I have made only a simple request of you in order that I may successfully resolve a tax dispute with Canada Revenue Agency in relation to family support payments I have sent to my daughter, Maria Helces Galeos, in the Philippines during the years 2018-2019-2020.

You are treating me as if I am some sort of ne'er-do-well impostor who is not entitled to information about my transactions which are straight-forward, absolutely legal and above board!

Honestly, I ask you: Who else but myself would be interested in my family support payments? Who else but myself could provide you with 3 years of bank statements showing all my WU transactions? Who else but myself could provide you with copies of my passport, permanent resident card and all the other documentation I have submitted? I understand that you have policies and rules concerning security but a little common-sense is called for here. Do you not agree?

I am extremely dissatisfied with your customer service and I ask you to put a RUSH on my request as I urgently require the requested information to complete my federal tax return, which is now overdue.

Unfortunately, I did not retain copies of everything I mailed to your Englewood, Colorado offices on March 5, 2021 but I am attaching copies of those documents I did retain. Hopefully, this will assist you in tracking down what has happened to my request of 2 months ago.

PLEASE RESPOND PROMPTLY. I FEEL THAT WAITING 8 MONTHS IS LONG ENOUGH.

My reason for requesting information related to my transaction history is because the Canada Revenue Agency (the equivalent of the IRS in your country) has refused to allow me to claim family support payments made to my daughter "Maria Helces Galeos" in the Philippines as a tax deduction unless I can provide proof that such payments have been made. I neglected to keep the receipts previously; only entering the transactions on yearly spreadsheets, thinking that would be sufficient. A hard-earned lesson and so I will be sure to keep all receipts in future.

Western Union Netspend prepaid account locked

to whom it may concern:

I opened a western union netspend prepaid account to have my funds direct deposited. my account was locked somehow when my funds were deposited. i provided proof of Identity with my government issued ID and social security card. I also provided proof of residency for my current AND previous addresses with my W-2, a checking account summery, savings account summery, direct deposit form form my account with my wife, all to which none were "acceptable" forms of verification although all of them have my name as it reads on my government ID as well as address. I have 4 small children that are dependent on the money in my account. I lost my job due to COVID, we also lost our home due to employment loss due to COVID. now, the ONLY means of survival for my family is locked into an account that I can not access. PLEASE help me. I can provide any documents to verify my identity. what ever it takes. I have to have this money to feed my children.

Western Union Complaint for asking Bank Password for transfer of money.

I dont know why i have to be blocked all because i recieve money on Western union is it wron to receive money using WU or what? What kind of company is this you block customers from recieving their moneys. Its not fair its been two times now.

Western Union Money Transfer - Money has been stolen from my account

Western Union issued a withdraw from my bank account without my authorization. I am not a Western Union customer and this was done without my permission or the permission of any name on the account. The amount is $454.99.

I would like Western Union to full refund the $454.99 which they allowed and participated in withdrawing from my account without authorization

Desired outcome: Western Union will refund the reimburse me for the entire amount.

Western Union Poor Customer Service

Hello. I called Western Union about some money my mom is sending me. It's on hold. I told the agent my mother is elderly and hard of hearing. That is why I am calling. The agent said I understand, but i need your mother ( the sender) to call. The agent doesn't understand. I hung up. I called back and added my mom to the call. I couldn't even do that, The agent had to speak to my mom herself. Once again my mom is elderly and hard of hearing. Your agents do not understand anything. I will never use Western Union again.

Western Union Sudden and unexplained suspension of account.

For some reason I have been asked to submit forms and proof of money etc after using Western Union for almost a decade. I use it exclusively for sending small amounts of money ($50 or so) once a month to a family in The Gambia. WU has provided no information as to why I can't send money, and I doubt very much that they will do so. I can use other services, but this is absolutely incredible. Thank you

Western Union Refund

Hello, my name is Miriam Johnson. I sent some money through Western Union on February 8th to Mexico, the person I sent it to wasn't able to receive it because it was too large of an amount. (I sent $3, 466.75 and paid a total of $3, 498.70)
When I went back the next morning for a refund I was told I wasn't able to get it back because the amount exceeded the limit that the store is allowed to give out. That was at Walgreens on 12th and Kiwanis in Sioux Falls, So I called the number on my receipt
[protected] I was given a Refund #: [protected] and was told I could go into any store that has Western Union and I would be refunded, I went in to a couple, Walgreens and Hy-Vee and wasn't able to pick up my money, I called back and was told that I would receive an email with information on how to get my money back within 24 hours. I still have not received an email so I have called multiple times, and all they say is to take my refund number to the store and get my money, when I go to the store they are not able to give me my refund, today I talked to a lady on the phone from Western Union and she told me to go to Hy-Vee and take them my case number : [protected] and have the employee from Hy-Vee call Western Union and I would be able to get my money, I went to the Hy-Vee on 26th and Marion Rd, the lady called
Western Union and they told her to have me call back in 24 hours.. The problem is they told me to wait 24 hours on the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th of February, now it is the 16th and they are asking me once again to wait 24hours, I have been to Walgreens and Hy-Vee multiple times to try and pick up my money, and nobody has been able to help. I have missed some work, and have spent many hours on the phone trying to resolve this, I don't think it should be this hard… Is there a way to resolve this soon? Western union customer service is a Joke nobody knows what they are doing.
I need to pay my bills.
My case number was: [protected] I have now been given 3 different case numbers... at this point I am angry.

Western Union Do not use western union

I sent money to my husband. 4 hours after an unknown person claims my money and falsified my husband's IDs hundreds of miles away to where we are. I told them at the onset about this and I'd sent a photo of my husband so that they can compare the photos of the ones who claimed my money in order to help western union and to fast track with their investigation. They promised 21 days to fix this problem. Then 24 to 48 hours. Then changed it to 21 business days. It took them 2 months only to say that they will not give my money back as well as the photo of the person who took my money. I have spoken to agents who are rude and who hang up on me without any remorse. DO NOT USE WESTERN UNION. Because they just allow anyone to send false IDs and wont return the money. They will make it look like its your fault. And I think this is an inside job. They had several promises that they will send me an email, til now I haven't gotten any and they sent it to a wrong email address. BRING BACK MY MONEY BECAUSE WESTERN UNION ARE THE THIEVES.

Western Union Refund of money

Purchased a money order at my local Kroger store on 9/03/2020. Advised WU on or about 9/10/2020 it was stolen. The MO was cashed on 9/24/2020. Since that 1st contact, there have been at least 6 to 8 more contacts. I have had to remit to them the Police report twice, and they are now asking (again) for a notarized affidavit which I sent to them and they received on 12/28/2020 by signed, expedited delivery. Each time I call I get a different answer, have been told that after they get the information it could take an additional 100 days for a refund. I have my WU receipt (a copy - sent them a copy on 9/28/2020) and the original with the 12/28/2020 notarized info. I also have the receipt from my Kroger store for the M.O.
I am so frustrated with them and I simply want my money.

Western Union Collecting, receiving money or funds from husband Alexander Shearer

I have been blocked from collecting, receiving money or sending funds to friend and family since May of 2020?

Please can you please tell me what in the world is going on with my account because I surely don't understand what's going on

After sending money several times to the Dominican Republic, now I am not allow to do any transaction.

Western Union Garbage money transfer service

I sent money through western union and the person put in the wrong name. I went back to western union and tried to fix the receivers name. The person at western union said i have been banned from using western union to send money. Western union is fraudulent company and should be shut down. They are a garbage organization and will file complaint with better business for their garbage

Western Union Money transfers

WU recently instituted a new policy which constitutes harassment and intrusion into personal affairs. A money transfer to my family in China which was being repeated over a year was rejected. I spent 2 hours getting to their compliance dept. which finally told me they were just checking for possible fraud and there was no issue. My money was tied up for 10+ days. I was assured by the first contact that I should not have this problem again. The second time, after 4 days I saw the transfer had not gone through and I had to call. The rep started asking personal questions about how long I knew the transferee (my wife) and even how we contacted each other, when last seen etc. The sheer arrogance! This despite the record of probably 20 transfers in your system. I finally gave up answering their personally intrusive questions and told them to cancel and return my money. This will be another 10 day wait for me. I'm done with WU for good.

Western Union Can’t send money

I am trying to send money to family, have have sent many times before. Went to send and was told I could because I was locked out. I filed a complaint and was told to many try's on password. But account is unlocked so on 26 October 2020 I sent money no problems. On 27 October 2020
Went to send money and was told my account was locked again. I would like to know why and can it be unlock please

Western Union Unable to obtain my refund for stolen/altered money order

I have submitted a copy as requested of the altered money order twice. There were 2 altered money orders. One for 90.00 and one for 1,000.00. They paid me for the 90.00 altered/stolen money order, but now it has been over 7 months and nothing on the 1,000.00 money order. When I call I am told it is 90-120 days, then at the end of this time, I call again and told that the documents were resubmitted to their bank and give them another 90-120 days. It is a very clear alteration of the money order.
