Western Dental Services implants pulled all my teeth for money

I was told I had gum disease and they pulled all my teeth . There is so much more to this long drawn out BS they put me through . No heart, all about money needless to say after numerous appt and them canceling on me. I had z4 appt with people that weren't even dentists I final put my foot down
I still have dentures in my mouth and they didn't even place the implants I'm the correct place I got c- dif from all the antibiotics they put me on
I went and got some other options and was told they never should of pulled my teeth
Now I have to pay to have it done again with another dentist - WD doesn't even care I will take them down because NO one should go through what they did to me all they care about is money.

Western Dental Services cracked and ruined a perfectly good tooth

I went in this clinic to get a broken tooth looked at and they put that goop to make an impression on the wrong tooth !It hardened enough and then the technician had to wiggle it to get the goop out and later on I realised there was something wrong with that tooth that was perfectly healthy when I went in there and went back and they said it was cracked and ruined and of course denied they did it. I am getting an implant at great expense at a good dentist but allot less than they wanted to charge me which was about $ 7, 800.00 ! I still have to go back there for the crown. Western Dental Services issue after tooth extraction, sinus perforation, wound site not healing properly

On 3/11/19, I had my tooth extracted at Western Dental Orthodontics on Elkhorn Blvd. The dentist perforated my sinus cavity during the procedure while attempting to clean my root canals. A couple of days later, I informed the the dental office of pain, nose leakage and air escaping into my mouth via extraction site/sinus cavity. The dentist/admin staff stated they will refer me to oral surgeon for treatment. I had to keeping calling member service and my dental office because no one could give me a status on the referral. During this time I was in pain, experienced bad headaches and overall misery! Any liquid that enter my mouth also enter my nose and then my sinus cavity. I straight way got a sinus infection because of the issues with the extraction. When blowing my nose, the mucous/ phlegm that came out of my nose was rancid and nasty! I complained to member service again and my dental office, no help. I was then directed to Western Dental Grievance Dept for my concerns. I filed a complaint, waited several weeks and got a response. The response was full of lies about what they did to fix the sinus perforation! Then it included that my Western Dental Insurance did not cover and injury to my sinus cavity /extraction site caused by a Western Dental dentist @ a Western Dental Office! I've had pain, bad headaches and a nasty sinus infection for the last month and a half! I had an appt today with my dentist but the dental office called to tell me not to come in. The dentist stated she couldn't help me, it's out of her scope and I should see an oral surgeon. So if the Western Dental dentist feels I should see an oral surgeon why is my Western Dental Insurance that I've had for over 16yrs not covering it! This is a travesty and I'm suffering needlessly since I'm not able to afford to pay for oral surgery.

I agree horrible care at this location elkhorn! Female asian DENTIST is evil! Uncaring, RACIST& EGOTISTICAL! VERY DANGEROUS TO ALL PATIENTS! SHE SHOULD BE TERMINATED&PROSECUTED FOR MALPRACTICE! I HOPE SHE IS IN PAIN & NEEDS AN ANTIBIOTIC SOME DAY& SOMEONE TELLS HER TO GO SZFFER GET WORSE THEN GO TO E.R.! THATS WHAT SHE DID TO ME HORRIBLE PERSON!

Western Dental Services billing medical /denti cal & metal poking out gum line

Basically, they have incompetent back office workers who don't know the laws for prior auth under denti cal or ca amended laws for denti cal. I went in for crown that had fallen out.. I wanted implant they remove a tooth.. That shouldn't have been removed.. Can't do implants..3 of them can only do one... I have metal coming threw my upper front gum line where the screw was placed... I asked them to put a sar into medical for additional payment... Never did it now put account on hold. Lol all I wanted was the contract revised after ins paid
Been calling fighting with them.. Omg nightmare.. Im getting the news involved - looking for an atty.. I never refused to pay.. Just want the correct $amount.. Bs
If anyone wants to text me with there sorry lets get western dental held accountable... Its wrong and treated with disrespect.. These people are wrong.. I have alot more to this story

Western Dental Services root canal and wisdom teeth extraction

I went in in 2017 for a root canal and wisdom teeth extraction. The dentist there had said that it could be done but I would need a full cleaning that she would not do a root canal without a cleaning. They gave me a list of what everything would cost me, said I had great insurance covered at 80% and for everything I would only pay 600 in payments. I said ok.

I got x-rays and the full cleaning. When it came to the root canal they said they didnt have a dentist there that couldnt do a root canal and that they would refer me to another dentist. They said my wisdom teeth were coming in sideways and they also could not do that.

I went home still with a hole in my tooth. I was in pain so I called them and asked to just have the toothed pulled put. I went in they wanted to get x-rays again which I had just had. Told them no. The assistant comes over and tells me, well you can get a root canal done you have great insurance. I told her that they had just said they couldnt do it. She goes and talks to someone and comes back and says you're right we cant. I ended up paying another 100 for the tooth pulled. One year later I get a bill that my insurance wasn't in network and I owe them 1000 dollars. So here I am one tooth less, still have wisdom teeth, payed them about 700 for a cleaning and a pulled tooth and now I have a 1200 dollar bill because they add interest on top of it. My credit score was affected and they wont stop calling me and mailing me papers. I wish someone would take them to court.

Western Dental Services scam, rip off, lies, poor customer relations, poor care of childs root canal

I do not have exact dates for all that has happened. I couple of years ago my step daughter went in for a root canal, she had the procedure done and she was to get a crown placed over the tooth as what I am guessing is standard procedure after a root canal, only thing is it took her months to get an appointment to get the crown put on either by her appointments getting pushed back, Over the summer of 2017 going into her senior year of high school the crown on the tooth fell off and her tooth chipped. I took Juliana to have her tooth looked at and the dentist at the time asked my why it took so long to get the crown put on and that due to it taking so long her tooth became brittle and her tooth broke. I let the dentist know that it was due to them it took so long for the crown to be put on and it was their fault that her tooth broke. After an attempt to fix the tooth what little tooth she had left was pulled out at the dentist at this time I am not sure as to why I am thinking that it was due to the attempt of getting her a partial, the only resolution that was given was for her to get a false tooth. Jan 30th 2018 Juliana had another appointment to have her tooth looked at and see what could be done to get her a tooth back her father took her to the appointment as I had to work. I received a call from her father while I was working and let me know that they found a way to get Juliana her tooth fixed through a program and that the needed to see if I qualified and asked for my income and social security number I did not talk to the person that was with him directly, but I do know that I made it clear to her father that I am not wanting to open a loan to pay for the tooth as that was offered to me once and I did not feel like this was something we should have to pay for since it was negligence on their end not ours. Her father asked the lady and I can hear her tell him that it was not opening up a credit line so I gave him my information and went back to working. A few weeks later I got a notification that my credit score dropped, I found that a credit line was opened up in my name for 1500.00. I called care credit and they suggested that I talk to western dental, I went to western dental and the lady let me know that when patients sign up for it all they do is hand them a tablet and they fill out the information and have no control over what or whose information they put in. I ended up giving up on fighting it at that point as long as Juliana's tooth got fixed. Today 5/1/2019 Juliana had an appointment for what she believed was to get the implant put in. Instead the partial that she has now had for over a year has broken, she has no implant and again back at square one with a missing front tooth. Juliana was told at her appointment today that she needs impressions done again so they have had to set up yet another appointment for the end of this month Juliana was also advised that now she had another root canal that should have been done in January that she was not made aware of and that the tooth may be too far gone so she might be losing yet another tooth due to the lack of care at that office. Every time we go in to try and get resolved, we get brushed off with excuses and more appointments, nothing ever gets resolved, If the root canal was done and crown put on like it should have to begin with we would not have an issue. Instead Juliana had to spend her entire senior year with a complex about a missing tooth, I would not have had a credit line put in my name without my consent, and I would not have to be sitting here having to write a book about what poor service we have received. I want Julianas tooth fixed and I want my money back that was stolen from me I was fine with paying but at this point after 2 years of dealing with this and almost a year and a half of her tooth still not being fixed I don't see it being justified for me to have to pay for the tooth it was all caused from lack of care from the dentist and staff at the office. I have her file and am ready to seek legal help at this point. I am fed up.

Dental, added charges, so called gifts that cost hundreds of dollars, and added charges, includiong doing nothing asked for but selling 4000.00$ of service that should be covered by MediCal

Western Dental Services make up the rule or policy to cover their mistake (2 front desk workers & the office manager), blame the insurance company & void my appointment

I've been a patient (Chart # 62259) from this office since August 2018. My last visit was October 31st, 2018 & I suppose to get back on November 28th, 2018 to have tooth extraction. But year end, holidays are coming, my schedule was busy with works & the worse part is I am unable to visit my doctor (He is on vacation until beginning of 2019) & get some medication to control my blood pressure level.
I had called to cancel the appointment, finally i've set up my appointment, 1:30 Pm,
Tuesday, January 15th, 2019.
I received a call from Western Dental, around 4:30Pm on Monday January 14th, 2019 from Tammy, she has to cancel my appointment because she somehow found out my insurance membership wasn't activated... I told her i'll call her back after talking to the insurance to reinstate my membership, but please keep my appointment.
My insurance's agent told me that everything should be fine but she 'd like to call me & Western dental office in the morning just to be sure everything is fine before my appointment.
I called W.D. back ask for Tammy but someone else picks up the phone, this person seems to know the situation & she told me she shall let Tammy know that I called., As the arrangement i'll call to confirm about my appointment in the morning... And I did called, a gail did check her computer & said my appointment is good.
I took a day off work, it take me almost half hour to get there. I checked in, Tammy was asked me twice, I told you to call me first why didn't you call? (I never tell her that I should call back and ask to talk to her specifically) I said I did called to confirm my appointment, the receptionist checked & told me my appointment was still good... Then she told me to have a seat while she calls my insurance back because something goes wrong & my appointment was cancelled, that spot was set for someone else.
She was typing something on her computer, don't even want to answer my question (Her mind was working with something else)
I called & talked to an agent, she said somehow I was assigned to Elk grove office instead by mistake, please accept her apology... She read the note & told me that Robin, another agent was talking to W. D about the assignment... then she ask me if I like her to call W.D. ask them to keep my appointment?-I said no because yesterday when I had the conversation with the insurance company's agent, the issue was Reactivation of my membership and that has been solved.
But something came up today on Western Dental office, someone screw up or they were mistaken with client's appointment or something, I don't know yet, that's why they made up stupid story about the assignment to the different location & they can't accept immediate transfer (to keep my appointment spot) in the middle of the month... I got really mad with the way they team up to mistreated me as the patient, disrespectful, under estimate my knowledge & also insulted my intelligence.
The manager Christina was rude, has no knowledge and acting very unprofessional and very poor customer service skill, covered her workers and blame everything to the insurance company, kept telling me there is nothing she can do other than put me in the earliest available appointment will be February, 6th... take it or leave it & the whole time she never accept their mistake, I was really mad and leave the office after saying some bad words to them...
I called the corporate office and talked to the manager to the details, he apologized for those employees who use their ability & power to switch things around, changing clients's appointment time or date or cancel without notice.
He could feel my anger and tried his best to squeeze me in the appointment on the 23rd of January 2019 at 11 am.
Last night I checked my voicemail, there was a message from Western Dental in Stockton office said that my appointment at 11 am today, January 23rd, 2019 was cancelled because I am not assigned to their office.
I called my insurance this afternoon and found out :They, the front office staff don't want me to come to their office, reason, I have no clue.
My only concern is : They aren't the dentists to serve the consumer, they are just the receptionists, clerks & office manager, are they allowed to refuse to give me the services (Absolutely not from either one of them) and are they allowed to cancel my appointment twice?
I'm reaching out for help, I really need the logic answer. Please help.

Western Dental Services fraudulent practices

Western Dental is fraudulent in their practices because they will tell you that your insurance will cover procedures without actually verifying before having you sign a contract. Once the procedure is completed you are stuck with the bill and no insurance coverage because of their lack of verification. When you try to fight to get your money back you have to deal with a bunch of incompetent personnel in their grievance departments that could care less to help you and give you the run around. I would rather let my teeth rot than use Western Dental

Western Dental Services aggressive collection due to an error on their part!

This is by far the worst place I could ever imagine doing any business with. They made a mistake in charging us, refunded that charge and then processed the correct amount. This was the beginning of the disaster that is Western Dental. They have totally screwed up their billing. My wife has been called repeatedly and harassed because of their incompetence. We have multiple receipts of having paid in full. I have spent over an hour on the phone trying to get this resolved. I first called 866.620.8390 and was repeatedly disconnected. Then I was unfortunate enough to speak with Alex Munoz in Finance. He was abusive and arguing. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, he told me that the supervisor was too busy. I finally got Jason who was able to see the mistake and was going to refer it to billing to be corrected. He offered to transfer me as Western Dental had repeatedly threatened my wife over the payment. I then had the misery of speaking to Moises in billing. He was unable to do anything. When I asked to speak to Moises' supervisor, he was confrontational and told me his supervisor could do nothing. I told him I would take that chance as at least his supervisor may have a brain. Moises then put me on terminal hold. I finally spoke to Maurice Silva who said that it was a billing error. I asked that it be fixed and that something be sent in writing. His words were, "That is not going to happen anytime soon." I am now on terminal hold waiting to speak to someone who can do something about it. At no point has anyone apologized for the run around that their mistake has called or for the numerous threats their employees have made. I suspect that this company targets people that have English as a second language to scare them into paying money they don't owe. This is still unresolved and the company is abhorrent. If there was a way to give less than a star, I would.

Western Dental Services products and services

The most horrible experience I've ever had in my life. And after all that my Dentures don't even fit. I cannot close my mouth I am gagging its painful in different areas of my gums upper and lower. I have to wear the old ones because I cannot walk around with NOTHING! I'm so dissatisfied and depressed. I can't eat or smile. And its Christmas time. I'm all ready going through so many things and now this. I would never recommend western Dentist

Western Dental Services my daughter

I am so unhappy with my experience with western dental today. My daughter who is 4 years old had taken xrays and they told me she had all these cavities and needed baby root canals and a tooth extraction. I went for her appointment today and the dentist was so rude to me and called me a bad parent cause I let my daughter teeth get this bad and how they were going to restrain her and how if I didn't get the treatment done she would be in poor health. On top of that everything would be done that same day. Not happy at all And this dentist had told me it would be painless and I said no it wouldn't be with that much work getting done. I'm so upset being guilt tripped into getting this treatment done!

Western Dental Services I cancelled my business with western dental

I cancelled my service with western Dental last month and I am still being charged 204.55 a month for service I am no longer receiving. I called them today to figure out why and they hung up in my face. I called my bank and they won't do anything about it because it's not "fraud" but they are stealing my money. Because I no longer do business with them.

Western Dental Services upper dentures

Hi, i would like to make a complaint about my recent experience with western dental Canoga park office. My name is Luydmila Makaryants, chart # 84.
We had been coming to the Canoga park office since May 25th, 2018 to complete upper denture work. Unfortunately, it has been worse experience ever in my life, because dentures were made incorrectly, hurting my gums, causing bleeding, irritation and infection, as well as not properly fitting. We had our last appointment on 10/09 18 to complete the denture work, but instead were given incorrect dentures. I have talked to a manager Nancy Alvarado about redoing, readjusting or even returning dentures, but was given an answer NO. The Managing Dentist: Clera Wijewardene has been ignoring me as a patient and has been very rood and unprofessional. At the last appointment, on 10/09/18 we agreed to wear a denture for 2-3 days to make sure it is serving me well, but unfortunately it has started to irritate my gums just hours after wearing it. At this point, i was told that no adjustments will be made and no return can be made as well . I would like you to investigate this issue, help me to resolve this problem in a proffesional manner, before i pursue the legal action against the office and above stated doctor.

Western Dental Services doctor diagnosed $10.000 with problems that did not exist

WESTERN DENTAL is a criminal enterprise.


on 9/17/18 I went to Western Dental on Northgate blvd in Sacramento.

First thing I noticed is that in the paperwork that they request you to fill out included an ARBITRATION AGREEMENT... They don't bother to tell you that this not NOT REQUIRED. I did not sign mine.

The exam went fairly quickly and then the doctor turned off the exam light and left the room. He told me Id have to talk with this lady to "Go over my bill options". The very first thing they told me is that my dental bill would be $10, 000. Seriously, no [censored]. My teeth don't even hurt!

After I give the financial person push back on the shear amount of stuff I needed to have done, and the dentist came back and then continued examining my teeth. The dentist sprayed my teeth with cold spray and I didn't feel any pain. Then MIRACULOUSLY I didn't need 2 root canals. The dentist sprayed my teeth with cold spray and I didn't feel any pain.

At this point the dentist pulled the bill-lady aside and asked her to remove $5000 worth of procedures from my bill.

I asked for a copy of the original estimate and they would not give me a copy even though it was printed out already.

I have a copy of the new estimate where the items that were removed were changed to $0.00 so you can see the original specified work, but at $0.00

When I demanded the paper, they proceeded to tell me that I was not allowed in the exam room that I was already in. The lady claiming to be the manager said that I should call my lawyer.

I have pictures of both the dentist and the manager, The dentist is on the left and the manager you can see trying to hide her face to the right.

If there is a lawyer that reads this and wants to hep me see that these criminals do not continue to practice medicine.

Western Dental Services deep cleaning

I was going to be charged $3100 for a deep cleaning, 900 out of pocket my expense part. I have dental insurance that covers 100% on deep cleaning, they never told me what percentage was being covered by my insurance, just told me what my costs were. I found another dental office that does deep cleaning for $800 total charge. My insurance pays 100% and I will still have 1400 left out of my $2200 allotment for the year. I will never go back to western dental and will advise everyone I know to do the same,

Western Dental Services crowns

My crowns were made way to thick and my bite is completely off. They told me I just needed to get used to them but I just can't! The crowns have bulges in the back. They hurt and food keeps getting stuck in them. Now I have to pay someone to fix them. I wanted porcelain so they would look natural but now they look like I have dentures. I can't even bite my lip because my teeth don't touch each other the right way. I wish I would have never let them touch my teeth!

Western Dental Services services not rendered

So far I have had four appointments with Western Dental, Burnbank and still have not been seen by a doctor or received any treatment. I broke a tooth and needed it pulled. The first time I went in they told me they do not take my insurance. I asked them to please call my insurance company and they said as it was a Saturday so the company would be closed. This was not true as they are open on Saturdays for part of the day. On my second appointment I waited two hours, before i was told the only person who could call my insurance company was the manager, she was not there. Out of frustration, I called my insurance provider and put Western dental on the phone with them. Surprisingly, I did have coverage at Western Dental, after that they took me in for XRays and then gave another appointment. On my third appointment i was told i needed clearance from my doctor before any treatment as i have a defibrillator. There was no mention of this before. They gave me yet another appointment, on my fourth appointment after waiting over an hour i was told that i would be given a deep cleaning, something i was not there for. When i asked why my tooth was not being pulled out, i was told that according to their policy i had to have a deep cleaning done first. By this time i was in tears. I told them I did not need one and i was there only for a tooth extraction and a partial. This has been going on for a month now, i am in pain and have been treated poorly and unprofessionally by this so called dental establishment. I request that no charges be paid for any of my visits so far as no service was provided other than sheer inconvenience (maybe i should be paid for my time) and the necessary work be performed right away, as a basic courtesy and duty. Western Dental Services incessant phone calls demanding payment when i've never been to western dental

[protected] started calling my mobile number and demanding payment. I've NEVER been to Western Dental...ever, so I didnt respond. After a week, I received 3 voicemails for a "Carolina" to call. I'm not Carolina. After 5 more messages, I blocked the number, but kept getting voicemails. After 5 more voicemails, I called the number to check if it was a "scammer, " in which case I would file a police report. When I called, it was a collection agency. I asked the agent to please record the phone call, as I would as well. I advised the agent that I had NEVER been to Western Dental, that they were asking for the wrong person. I gave him my number and informed him to "never call my number again." I just received another voicemail so I'm taking action. I will start here and work my way to the FTC, the dentistry association, and the FCC, as it involves the airwaves. CEASE AND DESIST THIS HARRASSMENT.

I am not giving out my magicjack number, so figure it out you stupid people and leave me alone! You asked that I write 350 words so; your are a bunch of stupid A hole who can't even figure about you are not texting a phone! Western Dental Services orthodontist/customer service

Went in for my new retainers. Waited 30 mins just to get help and the lady receptionist that took my information just left it on the desk where people can lean over and easily see while she went walking around doing other errands. Not under HIPPA compliance at all, and is under violation.

Wanted to do a refund because I was not happy with having to wait 1hr and not being told that there was a process to get new retainers. Before coming in the lady on the phone told me that I'll be paying for the retainers at the time of receiving them. But I haven't even received them and I'm paying for them already.

All in all, just worst service ever. Even the wait on the phone is 30+ mins. Recommend not ever going there.
