Wendy’s waiting times at drive through are way too long

This has been an issue with me for several weeks. The waiting time for drive through service at your store #[protected] is awful. I have noticed over the last several weeks that it has gotten from bad to intollerable.

The average wait time I have noticed is about 4-5 minutes per car. If there are 4-5 cars ahead of you which happens often at this location, that a 16-20 minute wait. Add 10 minutes more and I can cook my own meal. This is NOT fast service.

I asked the clerk at the window, on a previous visit, why it took so long? her response was that they were short staffed. I said this same thing (long waits) happens often. her response was 'oh well' and then proceeded to walk away.

This same thing happened again today (4-14-19). This time not only di I have to wait yet again 15 minutes for my food, but then had to wait an additional 5 minutes in a parking spot as the food was being prepared. Upon complaining to the asst. manager she apologized and said they were short staffed. No offer to comp or discount the meal just we are short staffed. She then left to go back behind the store dismissing me.

I have been deciding whether or not to continue eating at Wendy's as I beleive the value of your products are better then your competitors. However after today's visit, I beleive I will go to your competitor down the street. Their drive through times for 4-5 cars is about 8 minites... Much better id say.

To the last person's comment. You completely missed the gist of my complaint. She was the manager of the Wendy's store it WAS her fault that they were short staffed. I am 61 years old and defintiely can afford my meals.. My complaint centered around the time it took to get served in the drive through then the blatant dismissal when I reported it. A good manager SHOULD have said "I am sorry for this lengthy delay, here let me give you a half off coupon for another visit'. THAT would have been customer service. From what I have read elsewhere, lengthy waiting times at Wendys stores at drive throughs seem to be a regular issue

Wendy’s meal ordered

Service was terrible. Everyone busy gossiping with each other. Clerk took one order at a time, waited for that order to be filled then took next customer order. Then repeated same process. The food was lukewarm, French fries were cold &'chile was cold. Took back chile to be heated & clerk filled two more containers &'they were cold also. Clerk in back was sweeping a very dirty floor with a lot of garbage on it. I asked for a refund on the chile & the clerk had the manager take care of it. She was pleasant & apologized - looked like she had her hands full of lazy

Wendy’s customer, service food

Every time I go to Wendy's in eagle co, I always here the employees being loud, Mostly females but today was even worse. My order was taken properly by the gentleman at the pick up window. But when I arrived to pick up my food, I saw two young female workers physically hitting each other and being really loud. I made a comment to them about not horse playing but I was ignored. And on top of that my food was not made properly and was really messy. I am a frequent customer and I would not like to experience that situation again.

Wendy’s drive thru

I came threw plenty of nights and there was a very nasty attitude that cums on the mic very rude and inpatient then i drive up to the window i ask the young lady wats her name she said tiyana or sumthin like that she said why i said u are very rude and i will be sure to put in a complaint and i drove off Plymouth wendys employees if u don't wanna work STAY HOME

Wendy’s bathrooms.

I was recently here today, to order my family and I food. I walked into the women's restroom and the ceiling looked like it was about to fall with how much water was dripping from it. They were buckets getting the water, but there was also water all over the floor. Also stepped out of the women's restroom door to look at the ground and there was water going into the men's restroom also. This is supposed to be a safe place to eat. And now I don't think so anymore.

Wendy’s the 4 for 4

My husband picked me after a hard day at work, he wanted to treat me to a nice dinner.and we went to the Wendy's on hwy 544 in myrtle beach sc.it was about 10:20pm and I don't know the guy working the drive throughs name but, he was tall and had blonde short hair. He gave us our food and we drove off headed towards home and we realize the fries were cold, the nuggets were cold, the burgers were cold and one had pickles when we asked for none.i had a tiny piece of lettuce on mine the size of a pickle.and my bun was soggy around the edges .it was gross.we couldn't even eat it.my husband had somewhere I had to go so he dropped me off at home and came back with mcdonalds.i was so disappointed and disgusted with my Wendy's meal.the guy didn't even give us a receipt. I asked my husband for it and he didn't have one.but you have the time and location.we were driving a gold hudai . And my husband is Puerto Rican if that helps to locate us on the stores cameras.im super upset about tonite meal.french fries are my favorite food.and I had to wait another hour to eat after work.my husband was furious. Wendy’s workers being loud and obnoxious

Got to Haines City Florida Wendy about 9:00 pm on December 9, 2018 and we were only ones in there and the guy that took our order was not loud and obnoxious like the other workers but we were eating and they were yelling at each other and joking with each other. It was a bit much considering customers were there. The guy that took our order was doing his job like cleaning and trash so I don't want him to get in trouble he was doing great job.

Wendy’s never open on time

Multiple times I would go to this Wendy's due to it's close proximity of my job. Whenever we want drinks in the morning, very rarely do they open on time, we usually can't get service until it's 11:00 AM and by that time we already went somewhere else by car. I want corporate to go in and fix it. This is only one of many instances of them opening late and I had a conversation in the parking lot with someone who also regularly visits this Wendy's as well and is not the first time they've experienced it. This has been going on since June and I have had enough.

Wendy’s managers dad terrorizing our employees

Manager has a dad that is disrespectful to women and comes in expecting free cups or food and because i refuse to engage for a bully he threatens terrorristic threats says he's got a gun and also says he going to shoot me and another employee called us [censored]es I'm employed at 944 Wyoming Avenue Scranton Pa I'm suing and pressing charges all the managers who were present did nothing to always say he's not allowed but he's been doing this for years now I refuse to let someone threaten me my life or disrespect me in my place of employment because I won't give you free food or a cup because your 18 yr old son is shift manager also witnessed him calling two of our 14 yr old employees [censored]es also

Wendy’s customer service, food, cleanliness of location 5541 poplar ave. memphis, tn

I walked into this location on 11/20/2018, just a few minutes after 5 PM. I was the only customer inside and stood at the order counter waiting for an employee to take my order. Three employee's looked at me and finally, one of these employee's yelled, very loudly, to someone in the back to come take my order. They never addressed me in any way. ( ex: someone will be with you in a minute.) Then 2 minutes later, a man appeared with a headphone and a Wendy's napkin on his head; I was shocked to see the napkin placed under his headphone! He greeted me and took my order. I asked for the #1 Wendy's Single. He asked what size? I ordered the medium size and ask if my burger and fries be fresh and hot because the last time I was there; my burger was cold and fries were old, greasy and droopy. He yelled, in the back to the cook, that he needed a fresh hot, hot burger. It seemed that he was mocking me and later it was confirmed! He walked away without taking my payment. Before he returned to the register, another employee came to register, punched a few keys, pulled out a receipt and walked away. You can see my confusion, as I stood with my credit card in hand; no one ask for payment. My order was placed on a tray and I picked it up to walk off, thinking to myself;" are they going to allow me to walk away without paying"? Moments later, the man realized it and I gave him my card. He could not take payment for my order, because the employee that came to the register, in the middle of my order and pulled out a receipt, had canceled his approval code. He left the register to get this employee's approval code in order to take my payment. Finally, I was given a receipt. I'm assuming, the employee, that waited on me, was in a supervisor position. Other employee's answered to him. I opened my burger, I found that it was a cheeseburger with 2 pieces of cheese! It was so cheesy that I could not manage to eat half of it! The floors and counters were unclean! I managed to find a seat/table in the back that was clean. The only thing I want for my time sending to you this complaint, is that Wendy's would take more pride in their product and professionalism that put them on the map! People want to be respected as a customer, given the correct order, good hot food and a clean place to eat their food. I don't believe that is too much to ask for, do you?

Wendy’s incomplete order

This evening, October 31st, 2018 I placed a order at the store located on South Second St. I placed a rather large order and one of the items ordered, a large Frosty I did not receive. When I got home I went to place the Frosty in the freezer while I ate my meal. This is when I discovered the item missing. I was not going to drive seven miles for a missing Frosty.

Wendy’s single cheese combo and spicy chicken combo

Single cheese combo ordered no mayo. Was cold and drowned in ketchup. Fries were cold as well. Spicy chicken was barely lukewarm and cold fries. Only thing worth buying in the meals was the drinks. Service at drive through was pleasant but the quality and temperature of our food was very unexceptionable and when your on a time schedule for woe there's no time to go back. Waste of my money so pretty much going without lunch today I refuse to eat crap

Wendy’s management

The manager Renee at the North Second Street Wendy's in Clinton Iowa is a total [censored]. She is lazy, doesn't know how to run a shift on her own, and treats her African American employees way better than her white employees. I personally know almost all of the workers and they all complain about how she treats them. I used to work there when Sue was the manager and it was a hell of a lot better then and Sue was never in the store. Then Diane took over the [censored] mess that was left and she still did a hell of a lot better. Renee was placed in to coemanage with Diane and she completely took over telling Diane she could do it herself and didnt need help. Renee cant even run a shift on her own. Everytime i go there she is sitting in the office then comes out and yells at the employees that are busting their [censored] to pick up her slack. On Thursday manager Matt Deburg was working 3 positions. Drive threw, coordinating, and fry station. Renee then came out of the office and yelled at Matt because he was working too slow and she kicked him offline. Val was making sandwiches. A guy up front had been waiting 15 minutes so she was working on his food. Renee pushed Val out of the way because the lady in the drive threw had 15 minutes to get back to work. Renee is an absolute [censored] that should have never taken over and replaced Diane. The store is falling apart. In September the store flooded by the sink and up front by the registers. Renee left it for the night crew to clean up. Richies feet had sores on them, his new shoes for work were ruined along with everyone elses. Renee needs to go!

Wendy’s single cheeseburger

Hello. I had a potential serious issue today involving a sandwich I purchased from South Main St. Wendy's in Bowling Green Ohio. I've called them twice before I started this text but got no answer. I came close to choking on a bite from a single cheese burger. When I spit the bite out, there was a foreign object which appears to be a plastic tie. I was lucky not to have swallowed it. Wendy’s 2 baconators consumed october 26th 9pm at the duncan bc location

Hello, my boyfriend and I, after having a very long day, we're very hungry and extremely looking forward to enjoying a burger from Wendy's. We both got the same burger at the same time. We went home and enjoyed our meal as usual (except we were chinced on our fries) and about an hour later the frenzy happened. We are now fighting for the bathroom in attempt to rid our bodies from whatever we consumed at your restaurant. We both now have food poisoning and extreme discomfort. I would like someone to contact me about this please I am very upset.

Wendy’s bad service, bad food

Wendy's located at 4931 N Oak in Kansas City, MO. 10/24/18 My husband and I took our daughter and her three children to dinner this evening at this Wendy's near our home. The customer service was nonexistent. I ordered a Harvest salad and we were told there were no salads available-none of the salads on the menu! I then tried to order chili. The deadpan kid behind the counter said-"It's not ready." We asked when it would be ready and he replied "Idunno." The burgers for everyone else in our group were lukewarm to cold, seemed to have been under the heat lamp for a couple of hours. There were also several drink flavors out of stock. The gentleman that came in behind us took his order back to the counter after sitting down and opening his sandwich. This store is a mess-I also cleaned our tables myself before we sat down as there was not a clean table anywhere in the store. This is very disappointing as we enjoy Wendy's food generally. Our total bill was $36. + for an awful dinner and experience. Resolution? I am not sure, but I suppose a refund would go toward mending bad feelings toward this store. Thank you

Wendy’s service.

I visited a Wendy's today in findlay ohio on tiffin ave. And it was a terrible experience. I was the only car in the drive thru and it took 15 mins to get my food. And when I got home with my food they gave me the completely wrong sandwich that I ordered. And my bake potato looked nasty the inside was brown and the skin was like leather. It was just a waste of my money and time.

Wendy’s service at the drive-thru

This complaint is about the Wendy's restaurant in Coventry, RI at Exit 7 on I-95. Store #7689. Generally I enjoy eating at Wendy's but today I finally had to complain. The service at this store has been getting worse and worse lately. Today when I ordered a single and a Coke, they said they were out of Coke. Since this summer they have been consistently UNABLE to completely fill my order: usually they are out of chili, often the salads and the Sour Cream and Chive potato rarely has chives and never butter, salt or pepper. The service is slow and I often have to wait in the parking lot for them to complete the order. I believe that this is simply management failure.

Wendy’s regarding and employee stealing

There's an employee working for you company that is really stealing from y'all. I called the store manager and told them and they ask me am I serious and Hung up on me. I ask for cooperate number and the told me to look on my receipt. Refuse to give me the info I had to go online and look it up my self.
Items be taking; grill and crispy chicken, NUGGETS, COOKIES, FISH, cleaning products, green scrubbing brushes, pink and blue rags, no stick spray..

Wendy’s food/service/attitude

I marvel in the consistency this restaurant has when it comes to poor service, wrong orders, cold food, and attitude. Every time I visit, it's come to the point where it is absurd. Tonight, I order a #7 large with a coke. I wanted to order a couple large frostys as well, he said drive up. I said, I'm not done ordering, he says again ok drive up. After making me wait to open up the window, no one behind me, a good 3-4 minutes. He opens the window to take my card. I said I wasn't finished ordering. He didn't apologize or ask what I wanted, he just sucked his teeth. I told him I wanted the additional frosty's. He finally gave them to me and off I went. No have a nice day, sorry about that...nothing just him talking to fellow co-workers as he's handing me a bag, disinterested with his head turned away from me. I got home, food is ice cold and the large coke was a large diet coke. Last time I gave my order 3 times, got to the window no frostys. he said I didn't order it. I said I said it 3 times to you. He comes back and gives me 2 "small" frostys. These people don't care and a down right hostile because you expect what you ordered. Foul place with people who don't care
