Wendy’s food and service

this past fathers day my son and i went lunch at your oak creek location 7940 s. howell thats in wisconsin we were in the drive through line nearly an hour between waiting to order and getting to the pick up window. when we got to the window there was confusion between three employees what my order was . then we were told equipment wasnt working including the frosty machine .we were offered some kind of lemonade instead but not wanting that. they handed out our food eventually. i pulled away into the lot. our order was not even the slighest bit warm. already upset from the long, long wait already we left and tried to salvage the remainder of fathers day. since then, ive tried to call your [protected] # three times . each time i waited on hold longer than i waited in the drive through line. why am i telling you this. well, of any place chosen to have lunch on fathers day, we picked wendys. it was a totally disappointing experience. i understand things happen at times bu, i feel your employees handled that situation badly. k christl

Ordered doordash on sunday and received our food at 1:06pm or a little before. Ordered a bourbon bacon burger combo meal with a cheesy potato plus sour cream and chives - no sour cream or chives and the baked potato was hard as heck with hard and clotted cheese sauce. Wendy’s A member of Management at the Oakwood, Ga. Wendy's on Mundy Mill.

On Sunday Morning of Father's Day, June 19th my Family went to Wendy's in Oakwood, Georgia on Mundy Mill. We stood for several minutes without being acknowleddged by any of the Staff. After a few minutes we heard yelling and screaming. A manager was screaming at an Employee. We waited some more. When I saw her take food and throw in off the counter, I decided it was time to leave. She went to the Back and was screaming at the employee as we walked out the door. I realize, now, that I should have called 911. As we left, we heard something heavy being thrown in the Back. My daughter said it sounded like a Food Tray had been thrown.

This is THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR I have ever witnessed by someone in charge, directed at a young employee. We left for another Restaurant where there was no yelling and screaming. The Service in this Wendy's has gone downhill for years. I pity the employees who work there. If she talked to one of them like this in front of customers, I hate to think of how she treats him or her when alone. I still may make a report to the police about her. I didn't get close enough to her to read a Name Tag. I was afraid to be in the Restaurant at all. There was a Line of Cars waiting at the Drive-Thru when this was happening. The four of us witnessed this plus others in the store. How can you hire someone who would treat anyone like this? We had to get in 2 cars and drive to another Restaurant. 4 People who may NEVER go there again. Please respond.

Desired outcome: A Response and that the Manager be reprimanded or Fired. Gift cards for 4 would be appreciated. There are other Wendy's close by that we can go to use the Cards.

On Sunday(Father's Day) June 19, we walked in Wendy's. We stood at the

Front Counter for several minutes. No one who worked there even looked at us. As we were waiting, We heard a Woman Shouting at an employee. I walked over to see. One of the Female Managers was screaming at one of the Employees. It got so bad they both went in a back room. We heard a noise, something being thrown, possible a Food Tray. The 4 of us left. I should have called 911. No employee such be treated in this way and we, as Customers, should not have to listen to this. I have never seen worse in any restaurant I have been to. I am 71 years old. I DID NOT feel safe there. When I stepped over to see who was shouting the Manager threw a Sandwich and kept on Screaming. I was not close enough to see a Name Tag. I don't know that she had one on. I wrote a Customer Review. Please respond to this Email. Two families witnessed this. 4 people ...we had to drive to another restaurant. We did not stay. I don't know what happened after we left. The Female Employee who was screaming does not need to be working at Wendy's or anywhere else. Thank you.

Wendy’s Hamburger and frosty

We have purchased meals from Wendys many times BUT this time when we made our order it was very disappointing - the double burger with onion and mustard only had a dot of mustard and I could not believe what I saw. Wendy was busy but they made our frosty's and by the time our burgers were ready the frosty were like milk.

Wendy’s They said they couldn’t serve me

I pull up and before I could get to the speaker to order there was a 18 wheeler blocking most of the line. so I had about a foot before the speaker.. so I pull up and the lady tells me that because they have a truck there and only 3 people she won’t be able to serve me. I said excuse me, you can’t serve me? With 3 people what kind of crap is that. It only takes 1 person to cook a burger. She said well I don’t know what to tell you. I asked if corporate knew she shut down the restaurant down because of this and she didn’t answer. So as I pull over to the side I notice her reaching out the window to another car pulled up giving them a drink. I asked why they were getting service but not me. She said because they did a mobile order. I said so if I place an order online I can be served she said only if it’s a drink order. I got ferrous at that point and said I’m calling your boss. So while I’m sitting here in their parking lot writing this I see 2 more cars pull up and both of them are at her window for now 5 mins. Obviously she is profiling or something. This is absolutely not acceptable… how dare her shut the whole store down due to 3 people working. I don’t think I’ll be returning ever!

Wendy’s Employee

Saturday, June 11th @ 2:00 PM

I just left Wendy's in New Iberia (on Center St/Hwy 14). After receiving my order, I noticed that I was not given a straw. By then, the employee had already closed the window. There were at least 5 employees congregated around talking and laughing (probably why my straw was forgotten, (employee was too busy wanting to get back to that party). So I blew my horn to make them aware that I needed something else. They opened the window, I told them what I needed, she handed me the straw and before closing the window, the employee mocked me and said "uh, I need a straw". I don't appreciate being mocked like that. The girl who gave me my order was a Caucasian blonde, the second one who opened the window who mocked me was a black girl, visor on and a very bad complexion. (Not trying to body shame her, just giving a description so you can speak to her about how YOUR customers should be treated).

Wendy’s Incorrect order

I went to Wendy's on Airway Road in Dayton, Ohio at around 4 pm and ordered 3 sandwiches they were old and one had the wrong condiment on it and one had bacon which didn't ask for. We also got 3 large fries and had to throw them away because they were so old they were like they had a slimy coating on them. This wouldn't be so bad but the last 4 times I have went to Wendy's on Airway Road in Dayton, Ohio I have received the wrong order. This is totally unacceptable especially now when money is so precious and gas is so high! I wasted my gas and had a horrible experience. Yes I could take it back but why should I waste more gas when it should be correct to begin with.

Desired outcome: I would like money or more food for my constant troubles at this store.

Wendy’s Denied a employee position

I live in Bloomfield, NJ and are currently unemployed. I have worked in the past at various fast food establishments among other types of jobs, but when I started a family, I focused on raising my children and taking care of my family. Unfortunately during those years, I became ill and was unable to go back to work for some time, but my health got better, and I decided that I would try to get back in the work force. Getting back in was not as easy as I hoped it would be because most places wants a resume and because my work experience is limited, I decided to try and get a job back working in the fast food market. I applied for a job at Wendy's on Bloomfield Ave in Bloomfield NJ, and I was told that their were positions available.

I went into the establishment and the first thing I saw was a sign on the counter stating that they were hiring for ALL shifts, positions available immediately. But the minute the manager who was interviewing me saw me, he made up every excuse in the book not to hire me, including telling me that the shift that I wanted to work (the morning shift) really did not need anyone, that the shift that they really needed people was in the evening. He repeatedly told me that they needed FAST people to work, and that I would be on my feet for a number of hours with little to no breaks to sit down. I was 55 when I applied for the job, but I am used to being on my feet for long periods of time as I've taken care of animals for years, as well as taking care of my husband who is ill. I cook every single day and clean my home so I know darn well that I could work at any fast food place. But he tried to make me feel old, and in short, he ended up telling me that for the position that I wanted to work, they were not hiring after all. Age discrimination.

Desired outcome: I want an apology and I would like to see more older people that need jobs to be given a chance in places like Wendy's.

I was at Wendy's this morning on Atlanta Hwy Montgomery , Al 36109. The staff there were friendly but I noticed no one had on hair nets or gloves. The Cashier was cooking food then back to the window handling dirty money. This person had no gloves on or hair net. My concern cross contaminations. The supervisor should be enforcing stanitary rules and regulations. Especially due to Covid. Thanks!

We order 2 Spicy Chickens and a Spicy Hot Honey Chicken with drinks and 1 order of fries. The Spicy Chickens were small and not very spicy. The chickens needed to be put on a mini bun. Very poor and bland tasting. These sandwiches that we ordered doesn't come close to what they look like on the internet or their billboard menu. It looked like the spicy was just black peper in the doe. We should of went to Waffle House.

Wendy’s Whole lunch break in the drive-thru, treated like crap!

Pull in 1:05pm. Order 10 minutes later. Girl takes my card and disappears. 10-15 Man returns and hands me $28 worth of food stuffed into a regular sized paper bag, gives me my card, says “have a nice day” and shuts the window. No receipt, no chance to speak. 1:30pm when I finally leave. Get back to work (late because I spent my lunch in a drive-thru) and when I lift the overstuffed bag it rips and spills everything on the ground. 30 year customer and I never been so angry with service. Last time the baked potatoes they served were at least 2-3 hours old and disgusting. This Wendy's terrible. When I tried to file a complaint on the corporate website I was given a 404 error. I'm about to stop patronizing Wendy's entirely.

Desired outcome: For corporate to address the issue of this Wendy's being consistently slow and serving poor quality food.

Wendy’s Rude employees incorrect order

On 5/27/22 I did an online order for in store pickup at the Oak Park, IL location on Harlem Ave. I got there and the doors were locked. The drive through line was long, but we went to the drive through as I had already paid for the food.

We finally got to the order box, and was told there was no record of our order. We told her what the order was. I was told the salad I ordered they were out of. So I ordered another one, but without bacon. As I’m telling her this she’s interrupting me telling us to pull up to the next window. I try to say again without bacon and the interrupts me again.

We pull up to the pickup window, and another woman hands us the food. I all if there is bacon on the salad, and she tells me she Diane know. She yells back to ask if anyone knows, and then she told me to check. I looked and there was bacon on it. I let her know, and it was obvious she was not compelled to get a different one.

We left and we were both so disgusted that we didn’t even eat our food. I thought about trying to find someone to give the food to, but didn’t have the energy after that.

I get they are short staffed, over worked, and underpaid. I know it’s stressful working understaffed when it seems like you are just chasing your tail the whole shift. I am always polite and kind, and yet I wasn’t even able to get my order corrected.

I would forgive this if this was the only negative experience at this location, but pretty much every time I have used the drive through it has been a negative experience. This is why I always go in or order for inside pick up.

Desired outcome: At least the cost of my salad back because my order was incorrect, but ideally the whole order cost as neither of us ate any of it.
