Wendy’s unethical behavior

You have a manager, Matt, who was very unethical with me as a customer today.

I was in the car with my son, who is one of your employees. I asked could my son use his discount. The young lady who took the order stated she had to ask the manager. The manager, Matt, came to the window and was totally oblivious to me, but looked at my son and started yelling, No you can't use your discount because it has to be 30 minutes before or after your shift? you also can't use it through the drive thru? and also, I am not giving you a discount on all of this food! I just won't do it!" I interrupted him to let him know I was ordering the food and there was no need to speak to my son like that! He stormed off, but I was very frustrated as he was oblivious to the person who asked the question and the driver, me. He was speaking over me! I asked one of the workers did they have a customer complaint number and she stated, NO I don't know it, sorry, .. it may be on the back of your receipt? Apparently this is a typical behavior for this manager as I and people in my neighborhood go here alot and have the same complaints.

Resolution

Training on customer service and the importance, delivery and recovery of the customer. He seems to be very stressed and customer service is stressful but the way you express yourself, especially among your clients, can be detrimental for business.

Perhaps he was upset because your son KNOWS the rules related to his staff discount (which presumably is only to be used while at work or just before/after a shift and ONLY for himself - not to feed everyone he knows) You were trying to use your son's discount NOT your son, which again is something your son likely knows is against the rules. Of COURSE he was speaking to your son, he was the one with the discount, not you. You should not have put your son in that position.

Wendy’s drive thru wendy’s

I ordered my food. 20 peice and 2 daves doubles. Told I had to drive back around in 4 minutes because it was too late for them to come outside . 15 minutes later I received my food ice cold. Burgers weren't wrapped properly and I got grease and cheese all over me and my car and only received a 10 peice nugget. The lady was rude and I didn't even receive a receipt .

Wendy’s service

wendys in al saqr tower. dubai.

I ve been going to this place twice a week, for the last 2 years approx. Not anymore since last month.

There are 2 cashiers there, Dasha and Mary, both never look at your eyes when serve you, never use please thank you or even you are welcome when you tell them thank you, this is not a good service, but still is not that bad.

the worst part, when I order something to Dasha, she starts to speak to Mary in another language I don't understand, and both look down and laugh, I cant guarantee they are are saying something about me because I already raised a complain to the supervisor, who told me they had already problem with them.

Still, not that bad, the thing that really bothers me, its that I always order my burguer with extra tomato and with no ketchup, no matter how many times I say it, they NEVER tell the guy in kitchen this info, so of course I always get a regular burguer, and had to go to the stand away so they tell the guy in the kitchen, and wait again.

Still, when this is done, I always say thank you, and Dasha never even replies you are welcome.

Even with the bad service (I would say on purpose) I am still polite and she is always rude. the rest of the staff, amazing, extremely helful and happy.

I already told the supervisor (very helpful too) but still nothing has changed and I am not going there ever again when I see Dasha or Mary is attending.

Wendy’s drive through / customer service

I already have talked with the Manager? or District Manager? about speed of service through drive through. His comment was :we don't generally make a practice of having cars with big orders pull off to the side". When it takes 20-25 minutes two separate times to get through the drive through (A CONVENIENCE OF SPEED), you have a problem Houston. This remark only exasburbated the initial complaint! I will now go to Mcdonalds. I like Wendy's better, better deals, but I would like my food in a timely manner.

Wendy’s chicken salads, chicken tenders, hamburgers

We have been ordering our chicken salads, chicken tenders and hamburgers at Wendy's for the past few months and have had to complain and return our orders several times. The chicken on almost every order has been Extremely overdone; like rubber/extremely overcooked, and the hamburger's we order have all been extremely overdone, and have had to be replaced several times. Very disappointed in the overall quality of Wendy's food. The only positive thing I can say about our local Wendy's is the customer service every time when we call and complain; which is almost every time we order. The staff has been extremely apologetic and has replaced our orders, but unfortunately the food has still been extremely inedible even after being replaced. Too bad the food hasn't been as good as the customer service.

Unless we are compensated for our inconvenience as well as our stomach problems after consuming Wendy's food, we will no longer be visiting ANY Wendy's locations, neither will our friends and or relatives.

Staff friendly. Had to leave drive thru and wait "out front", as food being prepared. Not a long wait.
Arrived home, tenders "way" over cooked. Not edible!
Company promotion motivated me to try Wendy's; experience not pleasant.

Wendy’s bathrooms at tim hortons/wendy's in grove city

We have stopped to buy food at the Tim Hortons/Wendys at 3065 London Groveport Road in Grove City, Ohio for probably the last 18 to 20 years. The bathrooms have continued to become more and more disgusting . This past Thursday, September 27, 2018, they hit an new low. The women's bathroom had clearly not been cleaned well in a long time. The rims were black in the toilet. The hand dryer which hasn't worked for a long time was still on the wall not working. They put a paper towel dispenser in, but there were no towels. Forget the soap. I have to wonder if they don't clean the bathrooms very well how can the sanitation for the food be any better. I don't normally write to complain, but this restaurant needs a serious overhaul and a good cleaning. It is always busy so they should be able to pay for cleaning supplies. This does not do your reputation any good. I don't normally take photos of toilets, but this was really bad.

Wendy’s rudeness, racism, lying

I was in the restroom and my gf whonis African american, was thrown out of the Wendy's for having two service animals. They have service animal vest, plain in site, bright red. The manager did not ask if they were service animals, which she did not have to because it was plain site, after she told her to leave I came out and the staff were talking about her in Spanish, referring to her as "negra" and "stupid". I approached the manager, whom said her name was "Betty"and she was very rude and refused to apologize, and on top of that refused to give me her name, until the forth time asking. She proceeded to lie to my face and say the animals had no vest visible .I feel very hurt, I have never received service like this from any Wendy's. ! The location is the Wendy's at La Tijera .

Wendy’s baybrook mall wendy's service

I want to be really clear that I am not complaining about Wendy's in general. I am only complaining about the Wendy's inside Baybrook Mall in Houston, Texas. With the exception of two employees, everyone I have met at this location is extremely rude, slow working, and dismissive. Several times I have had to wait fifteen to twenty minutes for them to finish a simple order of chicken strips, while people who ordered well after me got their food quickly. Today, the woman who took my order kept looking back and talking and joking with her co-workers while I was trying to order. Then, her friend just walked up to the counter (without waiting in line) and she walked away from me without giving me my receipt to give her friend a free coffee. I only got my receipt because I refused to step out of line and when she did give it to me I got a dirty look. Then, I was served a cold, pink burger and treated rudely when I complained. As if that wasn't enough, the burger they gave me as a replacement was pink as well. I NEVER complain about restaurants, especially fast food, because I don't enjoy it, but the service at this Wendy's is so bad I had to say something. As I stated at the beginning, I am not complaining about the Wendy's company. Only about this one store. I just hope something can be done to rectify the situation there. Thank you very much.

Wendy’s customer service

Young lady name Candice Wyatt was very rude taking my order she said she was going to put some in my food . I told manager but she just was laughing like it was funny but I will not go there no more. The girl Candice started speaking out very loud saying she don't care bout no dam Wendy's so I said why do you come here to work then and she said that's my business so from then out I got my food and walked out didn't eat burger cause idk what she may did to it

Wendy’s customer service

Utah stores #10568 and #7376 they need more training on customer service it is not acceptable that they chat and not flirt while people in drive-thru wait over a half-hour you could visibly see them playing, talking, and messing around also it is unacceptable when a customer comes into the store to make them wait 25 minutes as they are serving the people behind you food first also one of the workers got her food sit down to eat before i got my food which i had to go remind them i was still waiting for. I had to get up and say hey I'm still waiting on my food they acted like i offended them cause i wanted my food so i can take it home to feed my family after a 10 hour work day. I still didn't get the nuggets the frosty or my son's drink I was too mad to turn around and go back to Wendy's to get the food that didn't give me. both stores have done this to me in drive throw and inside the store. i told them they had a long line of cars and they say i know but instead of taking order from other cars/people they keep talking with coworkers

Wendy’s customer service

I just went to the Wendy's on 18577 NW Eider Court location in Hillsboro. The "hostess" Bertha, was a horrible human being. She didn't seem to know much and treated me like I was cheap. I'm more than dissatisfied with my visit and as long as she has a job there I will not return. She was rude and disrespectful and acted like every word I said was an inconvenience to her. I can't explain how unhappy I am. And I tried to call headquarters right after and got no response.

Wendy’s everything, manager, employee, service and food.

Just went to the Wendy's in Palatka Florida on Reid street and just had the most horrible experience in a fast food ever. Sad thing is that I went to Wendy's because I was excited about all the deals I just received from Wendy's app which I downloaded it today. You will never have me as a customer and you will keep losing customers if it happens often.

I ordered my food drive thru. Two separate orders. First one was a 4 four 4 and small fries and small drink and a free Dave's single which coupon order was 89. Second order was two doubles stacks, drink and fries. When we reach the window to pay, a black lady was there to handle our order. All this time this lady is talking with a very thick country accent even though she's black. Please keep in mind I, Jorge Rosado, am Puerto Rican and my two friends that also ordered are white. As she keeps talking the way she was she kept on saying comments and being disrespectful. She was mocking the way my two friends talk. After we pay and get our order, I check mine and my small fries had 6 fries in them. I complaint to this black lady and she changes her accent to try to imitate how I sounded and said you must have the munchies, please don't shoot us for getting your order wrong. What is that? Racism, discrimination? Why she said that? I'm a well respected professional in my field. The very sad thing about this incident that happened today is that the manager of the store was standing right behind her and thought everything that was happening was funny and amazing.

What I can't still get over is the fact of how can this woman treat me like this? Does she treats everyone like this? Doesn't she know I'm a U.S citizen just like her. I was born and raised in P.R.

This incident has affected me in a way that you will never understand. I was discriminated on by the drive thru attendant at Wendy's in Palatka. A minimum wage employee, the bottom of the food chain. What gives her that right?

Hope you guys take care of this matter and don't allow it to happen anymore. Discrimination and racism are bad. That's HATEFUL

Wendy’s dine in order, just nasty

It's 9:59 P.M. just left the Wendy's on Sprinkle Rd in Kalamazoo Michigan. Now I remember why I haven't been to a Wendy's in years. Got two Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers. Last time I ordered one, it was around a buck. Now two. So, there's one piece of bacon, not a whole piece, but a crumbled up piece of bacon bits. Nasty cold bun. Tiny piece of hard meat. It's unbelievable how bad it was. They weren't busy, there's no excuse. What a pathetic excuse for a restaurant. Even McDonald's is far better than this crap. The only thing that is worth anything there is a frosty. And, low and behold, it wasn't available, because they had already started tearing it down to close. Damn shame.

Wendy’s manager

It is 1:00pm .I just left the 404 and Davis drive wendys in Newmarket ontario. 1152 Davis drive, to be exact. The manager Dexton Freehinte. Not sure of the spelling as his writing is poor on this paper.
I requested a full size salad with avacado and chicken, I also requested 4 plain patties for my dog. He refused to sell the patties alone saying he could sell be 2 Dave singles and add a patty to each. I explained I buy the patties all the time at Wendy's by them self and have never been charged for sandwiches. He still refused to sell them separately. Saying I could pay 3.00 each sandwich and make them plain or add a patty to each sandwich. I left and went across the street to McDonald's and ordered my salad and 4 plain patties with no issue or questions what so ever. His behaviour was rude and disappointing. I wanted this situation brought to someone's attention. Hopefully he will be retrained in customer service.

Wendy’s check my order at drive thru., told girl my burger was cold she said it just came off grill

August 22nd. Went to drive thru. Ordered bacon burger, fries meal. Paid. got order. checked order. Burger was cold. told gal. She said "It just came off the grill mam". Felt like had been dismissed. I called, told manager what happened, said would send gift certificate. ok great. 8/29, no gift cert. called again. told it would be mailed the 31st. No cert. called again 9-5.No cert. called 9-14, said it would be mailed that day. guess what? No cert. I'm livid about this. No excuse

Wendy’s wendys in allentown pa

Me and my husband ate there on Saturday (sept 15) the service was very slow and the place was very dirty no tables were clean and the floor was full of food and a milkshake or frosty was spilled all over floor. This is the 2nd time ate at this wendys since it reopened at a new location and both times it was very dirty it will be the last time we eat there. Sorry think the employees are not doing their job. Thank you.

Wendy’s food and service

We just sat in line for 30 minutes to get food when we got to the window they had no idea what we ordered. The employees were cussing and when we got our food it was cold and they forgot our fries. When i asked for the fries the employee grabbed fries and handed them out the window with no bag or gloves. I am highley dissapointed in this service and im trying to get in contact with osha and the health inspector because its disgusting god only knows what the cooks are doing with the food

Wendy’s double charging my bank card on several occasions. I complain and the managers made me feel like I was the problem.

On my monthly bank statements I have noticed every time I have dealt with Wendy's they have double charged my card just about every time at different stores. I tried to go through the store managers and fix the problem, but they seem to treat me as the problem. I felt they wanted to blame me for the different transactions, and became upset when all I wanted was my money back or a free meal for the double charge. I have bank statements that I have shown them, but still have been treated as the problem and not the regular customer that loves to eat with you all. I would appreciate someone that understands that I am not at fault here to contact me. I enjoy your food and want to continue eating here, but I need to know I will only pay once. Atleast know I will be took care of if there should be a problem to arise.

Wendy’s drive thru wait

Good evening, please let me start by saying that I rarely, if ever complain, but I think my experience today deserves your attention. I arrived at your establishment drive thru, on MacArthur road in Whitehall, PA (9/15/18) at 7:01 pm. The line was long, and I did expect a wait, but...it was 7:29 before I received my food, and it was cold. I did receive an apology from the drive thru attendant(s), which was the least I expected. I am more than patient and understanding but I truly believe waiting 28 minutes is quite excessive. Thank you for hearing me out and I hope this will not happen again.
