Wendy’s being forced to come to work when I have the flu even though I have a doctor's note stating I can't

I work at the wendys on garden of the gods in colorado springs. I called in my last 2 shifts because I was sick with a fever, chills, extreme body pain. I was told I had to have a doctor's note in order to return to work so i went to the doctor and was excused from work from Sept 2 through Sept 5. I was told I had the flu and to stay home because I was contagious. I was scheduled to work Sept 3 and even though the doctors note stated I could not return I was told I had to work my shift because they could not cover it. I had called my employer Sept 2 with news of my note when i was told this. I feel this is bad working environment putting others at risk.

Wendy’s manager in 3149 west 3500 south, salt lake city, utah 84119 location

A manager by Jennifer in this location has set a new all time low for management my son works at this location and has come home on multiple occasions complaining that she puts him down as well as the other employees and makes and literally calls him worthless after two weeks of these complaints I walked into the store tonight to investigate. I ordered a salad and began by watching her preform her job. She never let her condescending tone down and blamed each employee including my son for actions that could not be controlled and when another employee asked to go home because he had just thrown up she argued and told him and I quote "you can work I didn't see you throw up" she finally let him go and turned to my son and said "your the reason your buddy left and that I have to do every [censor]ing thing here". This manager is an embarrassing part of their crew I went up to the counter and confronted her and she told me to [censor] off I don't need the condescending tone of another upset parent. And blew up telling me how to my job. I'm currently a manager of the Taco Bell not far from here and I have never had a complaint nor failed a core. I had 93 positive Surveys this and last month myself and I've never seen as poor of management from this specific manager in my five years of management and 7 years of fast food service I would like an email of the actions that are going to be taking place to this manager immediately.

Wendy’s giant jbc... order was taken in an unfriendly manner and not repeated back.

On Saturday September 2nd at 2:45 p.m. I Went to the Wendy's on Columbia Avenue Battle Creek Michigan.I was greeted by an unfriendly person over the speaker who I later found out was the manager she took my order didn't repeat it back and got it wrong. I went all the way home and when I came back to get the correct order she was rude to me. She didn't apologize for getting the order wrong. When I asked if she put new fries in there she gave me a dirty look and clenched her lips. By this time I was already upset and just wanted my money back. At that point I said I didn't want to talk to her anymore I wanted to see the manager and she said I am the manager she's then argued with me and said that nobody cared what I was saying. Wendy's is a great brand with great food but on this particular occasion it was served by a rude person (who was a manager)not being welcoming of my patronage to their facility. Anybody working the drive-through should be a gregarious person who likes people and doesn't dislike their job or their patrons. Everybody else who I came in contact with were nice and apologetic.

Wendy’s drive thru

I visited your Allegheny Ave Wendy's in Pittsburgh on August 31st late night around 11:35 I ordered 2 of the $5 New JR Bacon cheeseburger meals and a crispy chicken sandwich... I waited for nearly 10 minutes to receive my food and then once I get back to work with our food there was no Crisy sandwich no napkins or even straws for the drinks I understand sometimes things can get hectic but there is no reason to forget part of someone's order...

Wendy’s gm ivan sanchez wrongfully to an employee

To whom it concerns at Wendy's
This GM Ivan Sanchez was brought up to my attention regarding my daughter. One of Wendy's employee told me that the GM Ivan Sanchez was treating my daughter with harassment. So, I told my daughter if this was true and she said yes. She told me that she does all her work and signed off per her shift and more by a manger on duty. Daughter told me that she never sees the GM and for the GM manager telling my daughter that her work performance is not to par. So, my daughter tells GM why was she only giving her one day of full work per week. GM says to her because he says that she is not doing well on her performance. My daughter work late shift so how can the GM see my daughters work. As a parent, I must file a harassment suit on this GM with the court and my attorney.

Wendy’s drive their first

Tonight was one of those bad nights where nothing goes to plan. I didn't get dinner started till 7 and that's usually the time dinner is over, then I burnt it because I was trying to take care of baby #2 Who was screaming his head off so I decided to put both my babies in the car and get Wendy's for dinner since it was so late. Everything was great, service was nice. I ordered a Dave's double combo for me and chicken nuggets and chocolate milk for baby #1 (baby #2 is 3 months) keep in mind baby #2 is still screaming and finally fell asleep after I ordered. So I get my food and rush home to feed #1 and get him to bed. When I get home I realise that I was NOT given my chocolate milk I ordered! And I was on no shape or mood to head out again! I am out $1.29. I'd like to know what is going to be done about this situation. Attached is a copy of the receipt.

Wendy’s 🥘food

The wendys on Columbus blvd is the worst I've ever beeen to. Every single time I go there they forget my sauce for nuggets.. so I just get nuggets with no sauce. They forgot my sandwich not one but two of them! And the line was too long to get another.. not to mention they are as rude as can be.. there were about 15 people in line and no one was at front. By far the worst wendys I've been too. I guess I'm done with wendys now.

Wendy’s baked potatoes

My husband went to Wendy's to get me a baked potato with cheese the cheese on the side and extra cheese. He also purchased his meal. This was a take out. When he got home a five minute drive, the cheese was on the potato The reason they did not follow instructions was that the potato was dark brown. Thus the hold time was longer than excitable. My husband returned the order. They replaced the potato with one that was not cooked. They also expected him to eat a cold sandwich. I have been very sick and this was to be my first meal in days. I detest microwave potatoes. But had to use the microwave to cook this potato for four minutes. That should tell you how undercooked it was. I love Wendy's food and this is not the first bad experience I have had at this store. Needless to say I prefer Wendy's, but never again at this store.

Wendy’s lousy service, heavy accent on cashier

Hit the drive thru on 686 Jamacha, El Cajon, CA 92020 on 8/28 around 7:15 pm. Already 2 cars waiting for service. On a Monday. Long after the dinner hour. I later discovered the long wait was likely that "Carmen" can barely speak English. Ordered a jr. cheeseburger, a small fry and a .50 Frosty. Then I am told the Frosty offer is over, but I tell her I just saw a commercial for it running ALL SUMMER. She tells me it was a monthly special, but what monthly special ends mid-month? She offered a discount of 10% - seriously? - on a Frosty and I said no thanks.

Then my total is high and I find she did not order the JUNIOR burger but another one. (this is not the first time they have tried op pawn off a more expensive burger on me). THEN, I get to the window and she hands me a Frosty. I told her I said no on that. I left with (1) jr. cheeseburger and your smallest fries and it was $4.42. Outrageous. Whatever happened to your dollar menu? And sticking with a promotion for the entire advertised time?

Tell me why potatoes/fries cost more than meat?

I suggest you hire people that fluently speak ENGLISH.
This is America, [censored]. We speak English here.

Wendy’s customer service and products

Today I came into the wendy's in cementery rd in hilliard ohio. I am a very regular customer that comes in two to three times a week. Usually I go through the drive thru and even they it takes a while I love coming to wendy's. Because I love the spicy chicken and the doubles, and every time that I got to wendy's my order is usually 30-50 dollars. I asked the person taking the order to put extra ketchup and seracha sauce in my bag, because days prior to that they didn't put ketchup and sauces that I requested for. And today I made sure they put it in my bag, and the girl that was handing me my food, put extra in my bags and the manager came over right in front of me and took them out of the bag. I asked the lady why she removed them from my bag and she said her manager asked her to. If I need to pay the ketchup and sauces I will, I found that very rude. I would rather pay and get good service then get the service I got today. It made me feel bad and made me not want to return again. I don't mind the wait because like I mentioned it took about 30 min for me to get my food and it has never bothered me to wait. I would appreciate it if something was mentioned to her because this has been the first time I feel this way about this wendys. (ticket number 3086). I am not sure what the managers name is but she was an african - american.

Wendy’s employee breaks and meals

My child works at You guys' wendys location at 441 Market Street in Gordonsville VA & they make their employees work 10-12 hour shifts with barely getting any break AND their not allowed an employee meal or any food. This is a HUGE problem! My 19 year old child has to work 10-12 hours daily with no type of food to eat while he's at work & some days doesn't even get a break.

Wendy’s employees at chipman road

I was recently in Wendy's dinning in with my family like we do every Saturday afternoon, when I happen to see one a young lady walk behind the counter with a sports bra on, being disrectful to serval employees one of which happened to be a young lady with a weird white coloring around her eye and mouth, she told the lady to put a shirt on, the young lady then proceeded to walk to your drive thru window, she ignored multi employees as they told her to leave, then I watch her raise her voice as she walked away . Never I have I been in a Wendy's and seen the amount of disrespect towards employees . I really hope this young lady is NOT employed at this location otherwise I will not be returning.

Wendy’s the restaurant itself

On August 26th I pulled up to the Wendys on Thompson and was told that it would be a 15 minute wait because the systems were down. It was around 11 pm and there were about three workers. This Wendy's is open until 2 am. On August 27th I pulled up again and it was 9 pm, there were plenty of cars and workers. The lady came on the intercom and said that she didn't have enough staff and she was closing the store. Again this Wendys is open until 2 am. There were multiple unhappy customers and I am one of those. Every time I come to this Wendys the service is terrible along with the staff. Two nights in a row I mean come on? I'm highly disappointed in this Wendys and I will not return.

Wendy’s terrible customer service, consistently getting order wrong

This is the worst managed Wendy's I've seen and will NOT return. Worker tried to charge $9.30 for a #1 meal that is $5.99. When they finally got my order in at the correct price, the burger was not as ordered. Manager very nasty about workers getting my order wrong. Manager would not speak with me regarding my issue. She said I was rude. They just don't care. This branch should be closed. Most recent incident 16:30, 8/27/17

Wendy’s apple pecan salad @ wendy's trinidad (store #11422)

I was on a tight schedule and not able to properly view my order, save for a glimpse to ensure it was the Apple Pecan Salad (Full as they were out of half size), until I arrived at work where I found the lettuce and toppings were way under quality standards and inedible. I spent $50.00TTD. Salads at Super Pharm or other non restaurant/fast food establishments are cheaper and of a much better standard even the lettuce is Romaine and the toppings remain fresh and crunchy and this is a day after packaging, to Wendy's Iceberg that was already turning pink and the base was actually already turning brown, so there is NO EXCUSE for an establishment that claims to serve fresh. I have lost $50TTD in this horrible economic time and had to throw away my lunch and secure something else. This is horrible! and I am really amazed at an international company having such low quality standards to the public.

Wendy’s out of everything in the middle of the day

HI I'm 6 months pregnant and was craving Wendy's there are none by my house so I had to drive 20 min to the closest one when I get there at 330 pm I ordered a broccoli and cheese baked potato and ceaser side salad I drive up to the pick up window and the guy said we don't have any potatoes I said ok just give me 2 side salads then he said I'm sorry we don't have any salads either! Needless to say I was very mad I drove out of my way and left hungry and when you are pregnant that's just unacceptable please keep your restaurants stocked

Wendy’s customer service

My husband and myself visited our local wendy's tonight at 7:13 that is what time our receipt said when we paid. We waited for one of our burgers at our table until 7:30 before my husband went back up to find out what the deal was. A short time later he received his burger. This was the worst service we have ever had at wendy's. No one was sorry for the delay. Many many customers had the same issue just waiting for things. We will not visit this location again for some time as the staff was so un caring and not being busy did not have the time to clean or get food done for customers. I am very upset with this service or lack of service. As a local business owner it upsets me that with so many people with out jobs this is the service we are getting.

Wendy’s cleanliness of the restaurant

The past few visits that I have made to 4 different local Wendy's all of the locations have been disgustingly dirty. I have walked our without ordering food. I have tried these 4 locations hoping to find 1 that might be clean enough to eat in.. complete FAILURE! I have even considered calling the health department on them.

Wendy’s supervisor's treatment of fellow coworkers

Lunch with my friend at the 6199 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, Ohio 45459 store on 08/25/2017 at 11:35 AM.

The supervisor (black female) was very rude and belittled the employee (Hannah) that took my order. My friend and I lunched at this location earlier this month and the supervisor at that time (white female/blonde hair) was rude to us. (I don't have the receipt for this visit.)

This is a great location - good customers - good food...but who wants to witness supervisors behaving like this towards their coworkers and customers? My friend and I will be meeting at Frisch's or Panera next time.

If this was my store, I'd want to know about this issue so I could fix the PROBLEM.

Wendy’s chocolate frosty

Twice now I've ordered a large chocolate frosty from a Wendy's near me and both times there was a large void in the middle of the frosty. The first time I thought "well just a mistake" then it happened again. I got the frostys by going through the drive in window and so did not discover it until I got home. It seems this is a way of not giving the customer what they are paying for. The void space in the middle of the frosty was probably a quarter to a third of the capacity of the container.
