Wells Fargo Fraud tru zelle

Hello, my name is Rosa Harvan, I have a son John Harvan with mental illness. He receives Social Security benefits monthly. I have a bank account at Wells Fargo together with him. Recently my computer was hacked and money was sent out from this account thru Zelle at Wells Fargo to my name and my other son's Roberto only received the initial $5 but not the $900, I was supposed to also receive $100. Upon investigating the fraud department from Wells Fargo denied the restitution of the money hacked .Total of $1, 000. November 24th was the day that this happened, I immediately called the bank and the account was closed. I also deleted the Zelle receipients. Wells Fargo never asked for my Bank of America statements and my other son 's Roberto to see if the money really got deposited into these two accounts. I am very upset, the only money that my son John receives and saves due to his illness. Please try to help and

Hopng to hear from you soon I send my regards
Thanks Rosa Harvan

ps I will not stop until this fraud is resolved.

Desired outcome: money back

After 27 years, I came to the sad realization that Wells Fargo was not able to protect my assets from modern day cyber criminals who hacked into almost every WF Account in my name. The Fraud departments are totally disconnected and not able to deal with criminals moving money through more than one account. There is also no central point of contact, so it is up to you, the customer to identify every instance of fraud. In the end they destroyed my credit score by reporting late payments and delinquencies related to fraudulent amounts that they agreed to fully investigate and consolidate for me to pay the full and correct amount. My credit score dropped 193 points and they included personal data belonging to the hackers in the report stating that it was e.g my primary address.

Something similar has happened with my Wells Fargo Zelle account. Money was sent by me to recipients (I did not send this money). The recipients never received the money. You say your computer was hacked. How did this happen?

Wells Fargo Delayed direct deposit of funds

I've been an excellent customer for 22 years with Wells Fargo and they are continuously posting deposits late. I call Wells Fargo and they claim they post the funds as soon as they receive it which doesn't make sense when other banks post other people's checks sooner and Wells Fargo is late. This is just an unacceptable practice. Wells Fargo doesn't care about their customers and I'm ready to switch to a customer friendly bank. I've tried called customer service and I just get the runaround so I'm not happy.

Desired outcome: Post deposits in a timely manner

Wells Fargo Predatory/negligent behavior re an inmate's account

I am an attorney. My name is Mark Mausert (Nevada Bar #2398); 729 Evans Avenue, Reno, Nevada 89512; [protected]; [protected]@markmausertlaw.com
I represent Samuel Howard who is incarcerated at Nevada's High Desert State Prison, 22010 Cold Creek Road, Indian Springs, Nevada 89070. His inmate number is 18329. Samuel has a Wells Fargo account, and has had this account for many years. Account #[protected]. I have a Power of Attorney re this account. Wells Fargo was provided with that Power of Attorney years ago. For some reason, which has never been explained, Wells Fargo insists on de-activating this account and then trying to escheat the account -- EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE BEEN PROVIDED, REPEATEDLY, WITH NOTICE OF THIS SITUATION.

Desired outcome: Re-activate this account; cease any escheat activities; send Samuel Howard the last five monthly statements, using his inmate number on the outside of the envelope.

Wells Fargo Closing an account for your Dad when his wife has passed

Went to the bank today November 15, 2021 to transfer all account that my mother had at Wells Fargo in this past June. Sat with a representative for well over an hour and produce everything they needed including a death certificate. We thought all the account were transferred over then to receive a statement in September that they were closing an account in my mothers name due to inactivity. I called three time, left messages and emailed three times about the issue, I never received a call back.
My dad actually went to the branch on Henderson Road in King of Prussia, Pa and was told that he could not closed the remaining account unless he had a paid funeral bill or a court order. The bank said they already had a copy of the death certificate but that was not good enough. I thought that was odd since everyone else (including other bank, federal government and county) excepted this but Wells Fargo would not. They then told him that the funds in that account would be turned over to the state.

Desired outcome: Would like the funds transferred to his other accounts or just cashed out

Wells Fargo account resolution for claim dated september 17, 2021

My. Name Is Dolores A. Bonamici: I filed a claim back in September 17, 2021 for charges i did not recognize on my account checking statement ending 9167. I was refunded 230.00 to date. In the meantime, I realized I made a mistake and the payments were for my Home Depot account. I received 4 separate letters from Home depot dated October 1, 2021 which are scanned into my complaints and on file with you right now. totaling 437.00. This money was taken back from the merchant and to date has not been given back to me.
I am responsible for these payments to bring my account back up to date. I did so immediately once I realized the error.
I have made NUMEROUS phone calls on my lunch hour with only half of them being HANGUPS and others not knowing anything. Some tell me it is being worked on and they see everything scanned in and all the notes and I should be patient.
These letter from the merchant are Dated October 1, 2021, Today, November 11, 2021, 6 working weeks and the monies have still not been returned to me.

I have been to the branch managers, my efforts are exhausted and I have not even received a courtesy call from anyone. You owe me $437.00 and I want my money NOW.

Desired outcome: PAY ME

Wells Fargo Appointment for Opening Account with Confirmation number - FAILED! - 2X

I have attempted on two different occasions to arrange an appointment and open a checking account at the Wells Fargo location at 2012 E Joppa Rd, Parkville, MD 21234. The initial appointment was given Confirmation number: T5WRTFDHOZ

I have rearranged schedules to be able to arrive at the appointment time 10-15 minutes early on both occasions. I have received confirmations of the appointment time prior to arriving at the branch location.

On both occasions, I have waited at least 15-20 minutes after the scheduled appointment time prior to leaving the branch in disgust.

On the first visit, I was told that the banker that I was scheduled to meet with was unavailable due to being recently hired and involved in new hire training. The automated scheduler was unaware that the new Wells Fargo employee had never even set foot in the branch when it scheduled the appointment. On the second visit, I was scheduled to meet with an existing banker at the location who never appeared or introduced himself. While waiting, I was able to watch multiple existing Wells Fargo customers explain a variety of difficulties and frustrations to Wells Fargo "bank tellers".

Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo staff at the branch located at 2012 E Joppa Rd, Parkville, MD 21234 appear to be incompetent and have only a passing interest in customer acquisition and retention.

Wells Fargo Discrimination. Denied access to account with proper credentials

I was told today by Deysi Gonzalez personal banker at 103 Old Country Road Carle Place New York
that I needed to tell her where was the last place I worked and answer other security questions when I have my valid drivers license and I also have my bank debit card with me. I have been a customer of Wells Fargo for years and I was denied access to my account despite me having proper credentials. I have never been questioned like this before and I feel I was discriminated against because I am black and automatically assumed to be involved with something criminal. I would like her reprimanded for her actions.

Desired outcome: I would like her reprimanded for her actions and for this to never happen again to me it was very embarrassing.

Wells Fargo A wrongfully delayed wire transfer from my wells checking account.

My name is Eric K Felix. My account info is: Routing [protected] Checking [protected]. I've been with Wells Fargo since 2009. I also had the pleasure of being a part time teller at the Ray and Higley branch in Gilbert AZ for over 2 years. 3 months ago, my daughter and I moved from Gilbert AZ to Rutland VT. As it ended up, the home that she was buying had multiple delays all due to a shortage of appraisers in VT. We've been living in a motel now for just over 3 months. I haven't opened a local bank account yet as I'm having a new trust written up by a local attorney as I want my local bank accounts to be in my new trust which is still another 2 or 3 weeks away. Also, since we don't yet have permanent residency, I wanted to wait until we move into her house which should be within a week from now. After that, I will be able to get mail to our new residence and then get a Vermont Driver's License, register my vehicles, etc. So, given all of that, I have kept my banking with Wells Fargo for the time being. I even found it easy to mail a large check (too large for mobile deposit) to Minneapolis MN and it cleared extremely fast, I was impressed with such great service. As you know, there are no Wells Fargo branches anywhere close to Rutland VT. Because of that, I've been doing my own incoming and outgoing wires over the past 3 months from the Wells online site. My incoming and outgoing wires are all between my Wells checking and 4 stock brokerage firms as I'm a stock day trader. With day trading, there are a couple of SEC rules based on my brokerage daily ending balance whereby at or above $25, 000 I can do as many day trades as I desire. Once that happens, I become a Pattern Day Trader. If my balance falls below 25K at the end of the day, I have to either deposit enough $ to get to the 25K or request a once in the life of an account waiver of sorts whereby the brokerage re-classifies me as a non-pattern day trader which allows me highly restrictive day trading privileges. This past Wednesday I exceeded my allowable number of day trades and Fidelity subjectively denied me the one time re-classification. As I was unable to trade on Fidelity, E*Trade and TD Ameriprise as I didn't have the $ to get at or above 25K, I set up an account with Charles Schwab so that I could resume trading. Early Friday morning, I processed a wire to Charles Schwab for $13, 500. I knew that I had processed the wire correctly, buy realized within an hour that something was wrong as the outgoing wire didn't show as pending and didn't get sent to Charles Schwab. I called your national customer service department 3 times yesterday and not 1 of the 3 bankers could give me any reason for the delay. The last banker told me that the fraud department would call me yesterday, but they did not. I asked for the fraud department's phone number and called them two or three times yesterday. They wouldn't let me speak to a decision maker, so on my 2nd or 3rd call, I asked to speak to a fraud department manager and spoke with a manager named Hector. Hector didn't provide me with any further information and told me that a fraud associate would call me Monday or Tuesday. Wells website states that wires go out within minutes and always same day. Yet Hector told me that wires can take up to 3 business days. I am frustrated beyond my ability to put it in words. I've never in my life done anything fraudulent. Additionally, I still have no idea as to what the fraud associate(s) concerns and questions for me are. I would appreciate a phone call this coming Monday between 6:30 am and 5:00 pm eastern time with as high a level manager as possible to discuss this ridiculous situation of delaying my wire for up to 3 business days.
Sincerely!
Eric K Felix 802.855.0369
P.S. This coming Monday or Tuesday I will have another $2, 000 wired from Fidelity to my Wells account and will be wiring most of it to Charles Schwab and certainly don't want another ridiculous delay like the current one that I'm stuck in.

Desired outcome: Get my outgoing wire done ASAP and preventing this ridiculous situation from happening to anyone else.

Wells Fargo Foreclosed home

Hi, you have a foreclosed duplex that you are letting people live there free or at very low cost. One half is a 2 bedroom and the other a 3. Well you should know there are about 22 people living there now. One person camping in the back yard., and also a camper out front. The address of your building is 115 and 117 East Rd Martinsburg WV 25404. Your building is now destroyed. It is now roached and mice infested. They make fires in the driveway, front yard and the back yard. The back corner of the building is burnt. Their fires are only a few feet away from the building, their junk cars, gas cans, an oxygen tank. These people are careless, reckless, and have no respect or regards for others or our property. There always reeving engines and riding their motor bikes disturbing us and neighbors. the place is a now a junk yard with junk cars, trailers, lawn mowers, and lots and lots of trash. I don't how people can let their kids, infants and toddlers live in such filth. I'm worried I'll loose my home to one of their fires. You cant reason with then. Everyone in the neighborhood hates them and afraid of them because they can be very destructive. Please throw these people out and take your building back or at least get this letter to the proper authorities. We're all tired of living in misory. If you plan on selling this duplex, you better do it while it still standing. Thank You for taking the time to read this and please get them out.

Desired outcome: Evict all these people

Wells Fargo Fraud denial

I clicked on a link from a text which said it was from Wells Fargo regarding a charge on my checking account. Unfortunate I logged in and it compromised my account. The person who I believed was a Wells Fargo man moved $14, 000 from my credit card and $12, 000 from my savings into my checking and wired the money to a JPChase acct. I started to get suspicious that something was wrong and looked up the number that called and it was a Wells Fargo number from FT Worth. As soon as I off the phone I had 2 emails notifying me of the wire transfer. I immediately called Wells Fargo and they assured me that it took 2 days for the wire to go through and they would stop it. Now they have sent me a letter saying I did do the transaction or authorized someone to do it.

Desired outcome: They reimburse my $25,000 that I reported fraud for

Wells Fargo Judgement attached to home without our knowledge

Wells Fargo filed a judgement attaching a lien on our home without our knowledge. The Judgment was in my husbands name but the house is both our names so my best understanding is they should not have been able to lien our property since both our names are on the deed. We have sold our home and just found out that the was this lien on the property and in order to get the home to close we have to pay the judgement amount. We have reached out to Wells Fargo for the past 3 weeks trying to get a payoff statement and involving a lawyer that was assigned to the case hired by Wells Fargo and no one is getting any response. We were told at one point the person that would handle this was out of the office for a week and would respond upon their return yet an entire week has gone by with no response at all after several calls every day. It is imperative that this gets handled and find it hard to believe that there is no one else that can assist with this. One would think with a bank as large as Well Fargo that they would have more than one person to do a job or assist when one is out of the office. This is holding up our closing and may even prevent it from happening. This is unacceptable!

Desired outcome: I am looking for a payoff statment.

Wells Fargo Customer service

Was at 241 Washington St. Santa Fe, NM and was trying to get a torn taped 20 dollar bill I received from your ATM replaced. Was handed a piece of paper with instructions to send to the treasury's office. I couldn't believe that it was my responsibility and without further customer assistance. I raised my voice in disbelief and tried to show her my ATM receipt which showed a balance of $193000. Dollars. Asked for the manager and the young lady stated she was the bank manager. Was told by another teller not to yell at her. Embarrassing enough to deplete that account this week. I have been a customer in good standing. I believe in customer service. I called customer care and was given instructions to take it to another Wells Fargo. Which I did and had great customer service and took less than one minute. My account ending in1883.

Desired outcome: Read above

Wells Fargo IRA Account

On July 21, 2020, my husband signed a CA Durable POA giving me the authority to act on his behalf. This POA was notarized and registered in Orange County, CA. On July 22, 2020, I took this POA to the Wells Fargo branch and was told this would need to go through the legal department for approval. On July 23, 2020, I was told by the branch manager that this POA was approved by the legal department. On July 24, I sent this POA to Mr. Garrick Updegraph, Senior Financial Advisor Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network.

On July 27, I received an email from Mr. Updegraph stating that he was traveling and WiFi was spotty, and asked that I send the POA to him. I did as instructed. Several emails followed making it clear that Mr. Updegraph had contacted my husband's son letting him know of the POA and my attempts to contact Mr. Updegraph. In coordination with my husband's son, delay tactics were used to avoid allowing me the opportunity to carry forth my husband's wishes.

On August 3, 2020, my husband passed. On August 7, 2020, I received the following email from Mr. Updegraph:

'I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I knew and worked with him for many years. He was a good man. Of course, with his death the POA has expired. I will ask my assistant to connect with you relative to settling the IRA.'

It is clear that Mr. Updegraph was aware that this POA had been accepted by Wells Fargo but decided to delay acceptance by his office as long as he could until it was no longer valid.

Desired outcome: Allow me to act on my husband's behalf as requested

Wells Fargo Setting up an account

I made an appointment one day to open up a business account. After I arrived, this was to a appointment that I made prior to this day. I was seated and once the lady came to help me, I was surprised when she told me that they didn't have any appointments today. It was obvious that she did not want to do her job this day so she found every excuse to not open my account. I went straight to Regions and like I figured, she didn't want to work because my account was opened with no problem.

Desired outcome: I would like it if you had staff who actually wanted to do their jobs.

Wells Fargo Online Bank Account

I am a 69-year-old disabled woman who has had a Wells Fargo online bank account for more than ten years. I have an online account because I am disabled. I still work and I still deposit money in my account. What I do not have is a cellphone. At one time, Wells Fargo sent verification codes to my email address. They are no longer willing to do that. I have had to use my husband's cell phone number but he is not always available to receive texts. When confronted with the fact that this was discriminatory, Wells simply said that it was too bad and that I could get a cellphone or be refused service. Today I was refused service and no longer have access to my account. I tried to send a wire transfer and received a verification code saying that it was fine. It was not until I called to ask why it had not been sent that the trouble began. It was being held because they believed it was fraudulently ordered? I could not verify my identity via text so that meant that I was trying to fraudulently gain access to my account. All you have to do is go to the bank, verify your identity and that will take care of it. I AM DISABLED. Well, we are sorry but that is your only option. If I could go to the local branch, I would hardly have spent three hours on the phone today trying to straighten out my online account. I did make a mistake telling them that the cellphone number was my husband's: That made them really suspicious. After several hours of talking to everyone up to an Escalation Manager (who hung up on me when asked what my options were as a disabled person), a note was entered in my file such that I should be denied access to MY account because everyone had a cellphone and, anyone who didn't was definitely suspect. You had to use your husband's cell? That is definitely fraudulent. I now have no access to my account because I can't prove who I am by receiving a text but it is all right that Wells Fargo can't explain what is going to happen to my money. Not one person I spoke to today offered to help me or work with me: The stock answer was that they knew it was discriminatory but that they were not going to do anything about it. No cellphone, no access.
