How responsive is Walmart's customer service?

We're pretty sure that if Walmart showed up wayyyy more often on ComplaintsBoard and paid more attention to reviews and complaints, it would lead to better results. But for now, the resolution rate doesn't show successful interaction with customers. We advise reviewers to be careful when communicating with Walmart and be ready for the chance your problem might not get a response. It's also good to start looking for other solutions if your issues aren't fixed as you want.

Walmart - won't hire my son

My son just turned 16 years old, and applied at Wal-Mart. He was so happy when they called him for an interview. He came home and told us he had the job. Next, he went in for the so-called orientation where they sent him for a drug test. He did it and passed. Then they had him fill out information for a background check so he did, and then he waited and...

Walmart stark fl walmart manament suck!!

my Son worked for walmart where he worked with a man that harassed him all the time, after the loss of his Grandmother this man came up to him and said why is it taking so long for the burial?" I'm sure shes about ripe and is green and has maggots in her eyeballs by now, my son walked away at that point.latter reporting this man once again and asking to be transferd to another part of the store was told he would be.things got so bad that this man would get in my sons face and say things like why didn't you do your F#%&$#% job after months of being bullied by this man he felt that he had no other choice but to quit his job.the man is still trying to cause trouble for my son by.management did NOTHING to stop this I later found out that one of the managers that this was reported to Is sleeping with a young girls that my son was talking to that worked there.

Well yr right about one thing third part reviews are useless, as far as my sons upbringing goes he was raised by both of his parents (that would mean myself and his father) of whom i have been married to all of my sons life, we have never been on welfare or never lived in a trailer park, oh and my husband has always provided for his family...not that i think those things make you a bad person .i can see how someone like you would say this maybe this is how you were raised or how you raised you're (son) maybe this man has always treated ppl badly just because it makes his feel like a"real man" after all he's 57 years old and working as an part time associates at walmart. .

Walmart almost kicked out of your store.

I went to one of your stores and I was weighting in line, I had to wait 2 whole minutes!. One of the items I wanted scanned at the wrong price so I called the cashier a dummy|. The cashier refused to serve me;. I told him to call the manager". The cashier informed the manager that I called him a dummy!. He asked me if this were true and I said no, . Then he asked the customer behind me if this were true and the customer said yeah he heard me call the cashier a dummy, . The manager told me to leave the store. I then apologized to the cashier and he said that since I lied to him I had to leave the store. I told him that my husband wanted me to pick some groceries for him because he had a craving. He told me tough, there is a grocery store in the same plaza and I could pick up my stuff there. I also informed him that my husband works at Home Office and the reason that I was shopping here was because we get a discount. They person behind me told me to just leave the store and said that I was being rude. I wanted to slap her and I would have too if she did not have her three sons probably (9) and (12)(12) with her. After arguing with him for five more minutes he said if I apologize that I could still shop at his store. I apologized to the cashier The manager then asked the cashier if he wanted to cash me out. The cashier said no. The manager asked me to get into another line. I told him that he said I could shop in the store as long as I apologized to the cashier which I did. He said he is not breaking any promises and told me that if the cashier did not want to serve me he is not going to force the cashier to do so. I told him I am not waiting another three minutes. He told me I either get in another line or get out of the store. At which point the lady behind me made another rude comment about me to another customer and the other customer agreed that I was rude. My husband who works at Home Office will be hearing about this.

Insulting cashier, then lying about it...

Hmmm...this should probably be forwarded to Wal-Mart HO, for if they do make a complaint, as it's bound to be an even more twisted, confusing saga.

Walmart not my job to take my bags off the caurosel.

Last few times I've been into Walmart, I have been the one pulling my groceries and other purchases off the caurosel. It is the cashier's job to put customer's bags into their cart to prevent the customer from leaving the store w/o some of his or her purchases. The same cashier too each time, Michelle, at the newer Walmart in Rogers, AR at Pleasant Crossing. I scolded her for it, but I did not tell management. I will next time, and I will tell my husband also.

MrsLea, after reading a number of your complaints, I cannot decide if you are just overly whiny, poorly socialized with an over-inflated sense of entitlement (who should voluntarily become a shut-in for the rest of our sakes), or a fake account. I'm leaning more towards the latter--I find it hard to believe you could want to share this many ###ic tales with the rest of the world and yet be so oblivious of your own self-centeredness.

Walmart vision center

All I can say is that Walmart should hire real eye Dr's for their Vision Centers. I have been back and forth with the IDIOT at WalMart in Pittsburg, KS. He acts like he knows everything and I don't have a clue about how my contacts and glasses are affecting me. I have been back 3 times in 1 month to let him know that my new glasses not only do not fit correctly but more important are making my eyesight worseand not better. My contacts are killing me, his solution...wear them a little longer, then come back and let me know. I know I should have known better, but they rope you in with all of the advertising and marketing to make you feel like you are making the right decision by trusting these so called eye doctors. Never again!, in fact I'm never going to spend another dime at Walmart for anything, not even a pack of gum. I understand that complaining against Walmart is like fighting City Hall, but hey, a movement has to start somewhere, right?

Walmart lazy employee

I went to Walmart with the intention of buying watch batteries for several watches I own. The employee at the counter took each of the five watches lifted them up and stated: this is not from here x5 and said she could not help me. We cannot open your watches and cannot allow you to use our tools. I never asked to use the tools. I picked up my watches and asked if she had a band for one of them and she pointed into space and said she could not help me with that either. She never even offered to sell me batteries. I turned and left the store angry. Customer service does not exist anymore. The Employees are rude and lazy and do not know how to talk to customers.

I get sick of people complaining all the time. Hey if you don't like the service go somewhere else. If that employee would have ruined your watch you would have had a cry baby fit. It is store policy. They cannot change watch batteries nor lone you their tools.

As was stated, many stores won't let employees touch products that are not stocked in their own stores due to issues of liability and insurance. If they so much as drop and scratch your watch, they are liable for damages and cannot replace it from their own stock. The clerk should have explained this to you rather than just saying they can't touch it, but that is probably because they know the policy exists but not why.

In the future, all I can suggest is no matter if you're going to Wal Mart or somewhere else, take the battery out and bring that with you. The employee doesn't need to see the watch. So long as you have the battery, you can pick it out yourself by looking at the labels. If you lost the old battery, look up the watch specs online before going to the store and those will tell you what to buy so you can ask for it by name.

This isn't a matter of a lazy employee. It's a matter of companies having worse customer service out of necessity to adjust to a more litigious society. If customers are allowed to sue for the smallest, stupidest things, the companies have to respond with policies like these in order to protect themselves. The result is that the average customer with a real need for help suffers.

Walmart mad mother

I was at Walmart on Friday evening just running some errands and was waiting on my friend to finish her check out. I was waiting on the side and was just surfing on my phone all of a sudden a girl came running towards me crying and screaming. There were two hug racks behind me with gardening items and there was little space between two space and the girl started climbing up the rack crying and scream and her dad was right behind her and looking at his face he looked really mad and he tried to pull her down. I pushed my card on the side, moved to corner and like everyone else in was looking at the girl and was shocked with her behavior. All of a sudden girls mother came with two little girl and she was standing in check out line, I guess I had a really weird look on my face at the time. Mother screamed out loud "does anyone has any problem with a child with bipolar disorder" ! I wasn't aware she was telling me I looked at her and looked back down still surfing on my phone trying to avoid whatever was happening. Mother got louder and said "Do you have any problem as you rolled your eyes at me" at this point I was annoyed but I didn't say anything all of a sudden she walked to my face and still being loud she said " Do you have any problem, mind your own ###" ! and all I said to her was " I am not talking to you " she still kept going on about her child having disorder. There were about 20 people standing there and after the mother stopped yelling at me one guy asked the father if he need help. I just don't understand what I did wrong? I was just standing there minding my own business and staying out of their way and still got yelled, I was unaware of girls situation but i don't think i should be yelled. The manager was standing right there and just looked instead of doing anything.

I feel bad for not apologizing, if they though i did anything wrong. I think the mother was embarrassed and just want to be mad at someone to take out her frustration.

Walmart ripoff walmart money card visa

Today is just not my day... I used to like wallmart all the way. But I gotta tell you all in the us: never, ever purchase an walmart money card! Ever! I did purchase 3 between yesterday night and today with them, and none I was able to activate. And the refund? Only comes in the mail (if it comes) in 10 business days! Nightmare!
Even calling their corporate didn't help.
And people still says that "the customer is always right"... Uh?
Really?

Walmart 15th complaint (another terrible store)

Since I keep having trouble at the Springdale store I decided to go to the next closest store. I went to the Roger's store instead. The employee I asked for help with completely ignored me when I asked her to find some Lysol. Yeah she was stocking the shelves. I had to repeat myself five times and she still ignored me. Finally I tapped her on the shoulder and she acknowledged me and told me where I can find the Lysol. I complained to the manager about this and he told me that she was hearing impaired. Well if she is deaf why did you hire her in the first place. Hiring her can be both dangerous to customers as well as herself if she cannot hear. I told the manager that there are many people who applied for her job and he had to hire the one who is dumb. He told me that she is a hard worker, and all I have to do to get her attention is tap her shoulder. This is easy for him to say, but if a man tapped her shoulder they risk being accused of sexual harassment so they won't tap her shoulder and just think she is some ### unwilling to help. I told them that I would be telling my husband about their poor hiring practices. I went home and informed my husband about this lady they hired. If he had been on the hiring committee she would never have been hired.

Irene S and the troll Mslea need a good old fashion beatdown, I would just love to make them impaired. A pistol to the ears would do the trick. That way they can become hearing impaired as well. I hope Irene S and Mslea drink themselves some chlorine bleach, and become blind! Maybe a chemical explosion can happen, in which they both lose their eyesight!

I find both the letter and the comment by Irene S to be highly offensive. Being deaf does not mean you are unable to work and be productive in the world. The woman would not sue for sexual harassment if she was tapped on the shoulder. That is ridiculous.

Disabilities come in all shapes and sizes. Some have physical or emotional disabilities. Then there are those who have disabled themselves by being self-righteous haters who think the world revolves around them and that others are put here to hinder their fabulous fabulous life. These are the people I feel sorry for. They have too much hatred in them to see how wonderful the world truly is and the beauty and uniqueness of each person on the earth.

Walmart - inhumane treatment of loyal customer

Walmart if you value your eye sight, stay away

Dr. Broca at Walmart vision misdiagnosed my eyes and became outraged when told. The court in Kingman misplaced my compliant several times to prevent me from having my small claim heard. Intelligent Dr. Broca hired an attorney and moved the case to the supreme court. I was asking the court for the return of $300. spent on correcting this doctor's mistake. She preferred to paid an attorney than do the right thing. She refused to re-exam my eyes.

In court she was loud, name calling, refusing to answer the questions that I asked of her. She snatched papers out of my hand, all while on the witness stand. I acted as my own attorney. Judge Jill Davis, out of Lake Havasu was asked to here the case in Kingman because after the run around to get my case heard I didn't trust the Kingman's Judges to be fair.

Dr. Broca changed the trial from small claims court, to the supreme court. I asked for a jury trial. First, I was told yes to the jury trial and then no. During the trial, the judge allowed the doctor to do and say whatever she wanted to. I tired of the situation and ask the judge to do something. Then, she asked the attorney to take his client out the court room and talk with her.

No decision was made that day, I received a letter stating that the case is ordered to be dismissed. No explanation. Over a year working on this case for it to be dismissed without a word, as to why. That justice!

Walmart scam

I googled a specific man and got a pop-up telling me 'this is not a joke. you are the one milklionth (I think that was the number) person and you qualify for a $1, 000. gift card'. It turned out that they wanted a lengthy count of my co-ordinates, leading to an 'activation code' at phone no. [protected]. If I had continured, I would be signing up for a $17.00 monthly service. I don't want any of that.

This is a scam, plain and simple, started under the crudest of false promises. I never would have believed Walmart would go so low! Sheila Whitzman. I expect an apology and stop that disgusting cheap practice!

I got on-line to set up a trip with Sam's club travel because I had a coupon. I was comforted to see that they utilize Expedia since I use this site all the time for business and person trip planning. I ended up having to cancel the trip 3 days before I was to leave. From a 704.00 trip they would only refund 121.00 because they said that they do not get a refund from the hotel. I have planned numerous trips with Expedia and know that is not their policy. I was put on hold with their "customer service" dept for over an hour and never allowed to talk to a supervisor.

That is a scam Shelia, the real Walmart corporation has nothing to do with it. I'm sure they would stop the practice if they could but most of these scams operate outside of North American and the police have difficulty tracking the people involved.

If you haven't received your money back for your order yet, go back in, ask to speak to a salaried member of management and tell them you want a refund for your order. They are able to refund your order from the Site to Store computer in the back. Even if they cannot find your order. I know, I run the site to store in my store in RI. What most likely happened is they checked your stuff in and then lost it in the store. Therefore it is their responisibility to refund it to you. Tell them you want your money credited back to your card. If they say they cannot do it, then call 1-800-WALMART and explain your situation. Not only will you get your money back, but you will get a gift card fro $25.

Walmart too harsh on child stealing.

As I was entering the store they caught a young child shoplifting. He must have been about 10-11 years old. He was shopping alone. He stole a few trading cards(which by the way are overpriced). I am not defending his actions however I am sure that he learned his lesson. He was crying when they took him in and he promised that he would not do this again. I felt bad for the boy and thought just let him go obviously he made a mistake and you guys are frightening him and he won't make this same mistake again. He did not want them to involve his parents. He promised not to do this again if they did not call his parents. I am not complaining, just felt bad for the boy and thought that he had already learned his lesson and they were being too harsh on him.

Guys, when I made my last post on June 27th I was in denial. The truth is my son really did not steal the XBOX controller but he stole a few other things, and he has been doing the same at Target as well. Right now he was kicked out of school for fighting and beating up a younger disabled boy with MS for his Iphone. I am at witts end and don't know what to do with him.

CONTINUED: other children the entire time. So I left I called walmarts headquarters and complained. 3 to 5 days and we will see what happens. I'm not a bad mother, I have NEVER stolen and I do not condone it. If my son had done it at they showed me proof he would get punished but I cannot go around not ever believing my child, he would never trust me and then I'd have even more problems on my hands. A simple look at that video before accusations were thrown and a call to the cops if what u thought happened was revealed in a video would of been appropriate. A long over due confrontation was uneccessary, embarrasing to me, and fufilled me with A LOT of anger

My 12 year old son was accussed today at Walmart for stealing a XBOX controller while he was with me today. My son said he didn't do it. The employee kept badgering so eventually I told the employee why are you speaking to me with such attitude and he said your sons stealing. By the way when were approached the employee had the remote in hand not my son. I asked the employee to see the video he said I don't have to how you. I said let me speak to a manager he said I am the manager. I asked him to leave me alone and he said I can call the cops and I said then do it. I wasn't finished shopping but I was done being harrased so I walked to checkout and this guy followed us. He never called the copa but his manager came, so after all this he was never the manager. Why should his parents be notified? BECAUSE HE COMMITTED A CRIME! You do not know that his parents will beat him. I work with children, so believe me, kids can turn on the waterworks when they want to. This child was old enough to know that what he was doing was wrong. He begged them not to tell his parents - which ANY kid will do, not just because they might get beaten. In fact, I have had children beg me not to tell their parents about incidents in the classroom, not because they will be beaten but "they will take away my xbox" or "they won't let me go on the computer" or "I can't watch tv/play with friends" basically they don't want to be punished. Hey, you do the crime, you do the time. Maybe next time he will think before deciding to steal again.

If they had let him go without any repercussions, what lesson would he have learned? That he can con adults into letting him get off when he gets caught?

Children and adults all need to learn that there are consequences for their actions.

Walmart proof of racism on tape.

This is the same lady that wouldn't greet me the last time I was at this store before I moved temporarily. Today I used my cell phone to record her not greeting me and then I let her know about it. I am going to post this to Youtube and send it to Wal-mart HQ also. Her job as a customer service representative is to greet ALL customers. Her excuse for not doing so was that I was on my cell phone when I pulled up. Yes, I was getting my cell phone ready to record what I thought was about to happen. It doesn't matter if I am on my cell phone or not anyway, she is supposed to be a customer service rep and greet EVERYBODY, not just white people.

Most business do not frown about being videotaped without their approval. They have security cameras and videotape us everyday without our approval so what difference does it make? If they do ban me it would be because I am black and they suspect I steal rather than banning me for videotaping them.

It is okay to tape someone, you cannot tape a video with the sound recording on. Also I don't believe that she has racism issues, I believe that she thought that you were going to use your phone and did not want to interrupt you. Why do we have to go and start up with honkies and crackers and all the negative crap. Let's follow the advice of Rodney Brown " Why can't we all just get along " or something to that effect. The question is "your attitude towards the complaint" my attitude is ### !

I'm white, and they don't always greet me. Are the Greeters at my Wal-Mart racist against white people? Dear god, what a travesty of a life you must lead getting all worked up over something as trivial as this. It's not racism, they don't always greet everybody ... especially people with their phones in front of their faces.

"Why would Walmart have a problem with me videotaping the employee without her permission when the videotape me without permission. They have camera's all over their store so they have no problem with taping without someone's permission."

I will respond to you PM here. They might have cameras all over Walmart, but by entering the store you are giving consent to be filmed. Secondly, they do not post the video of customer on Youtube. Also, it isn't just that you filmed the employee, it is that businesses do not like any unapproved videotaping inside their building, for security reasons. If you cannot understand why, then I feel bad for you.

You cannot prove that she did not greet you simply due to the colour of your skin. You also cannot prove that she has greeted every white person while neglecting to greet a person of another colour. You had your mobile phone out and you were playing with it, which could be seen as you making a call or being occupied, therefore she decided not to interrupt you.

The poor greeters cannot win. I have seen them get berated for deigning to welcome someone who was busy texting as they entered the store. Now they get called racist because they didn't greet someone who was busy with their phone. The woman did not know you weren't on the phone or making a call or texting, she simply saw that you were occupied with it, so chose to leave you be.

Finally, if the greeter at Walmart doesn't say hello to you and you get THIS upset about it, I think it might be time you seek therapy for your stress and anger management.

I do not always get a greeting from the person at the door, and it doesn't make me want to pull out my phone and film them.

Sometimes you just need to learn to let things go, otherwise you will end up with a heart attack or a stroke from stress due to your inability to not blow insignificant things out of all proportion.

The OP may not have to worry about not being greeted if she does what she claims with the video. Most businesses frown upon filming on their premises without prior approval, so Walmart may just ban her.

Walmart rude employees

I have managed an elderly family member's health care including scripts for 2 years now.
last week i picked up some meds for this person. the next day i got an automatic call saying this person had meds to pick up. i asked him if he had something called in and he said no. 5 days later i get another automatic call saying a script is overdue for pick up. i had another script for eye drops to drop off. when i went in i asked what was waiting for pickup [how would i know if they hadn't called my phone!

the high school dropout who weighs 300 lbs got nasty with me and said she couldn't give out that info to me. neverming i am the contact person which means he has given me premission to have info on his meds. i stated that this is why i go to another pharmacy for my family's script needs. she then got even ruder and threw the script and me and told me to go somewhere else. i told her that i would not put up with her ### attitude.

i then asked to speak to the manager. i told him i was not happy and he got rude with me as well and refused to give me the regional manager's number, saying he was not allowed. even tho he gave it to a friend 2 days earlier.

i called 1-800 walmart and filed a complaint. the regional manager debbie allen called and basically backed up her employees, no surprise. telling me that the law requires i bring in a copy of the P.O, A. the patient has signed.

really...for 2 years they have allowed me access. which means for 2 years they have been violating HIPPA LAW!

SO IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO BE TREATED LIKE DOG DOO, FIND ANOTHER PHARMACY!

My daughter went to pick up my perscription. The pharmacy has a sign saying it closes at 9pm . First the Pharmacist had another customer cut in front of her after being ignored for maybe 10 mins. Second another employee yells at her that she can help her . Third the employee starts to argue about my birth date. She ask for the date the answer was giver wrong.(If she knew the date?). Fourth My daughter move away from the counter, the employee yelled at her to be there by 8:45. (My daughter was standing in the center isle by then.) My daughter had her two little daughters with her so she had to do some shopping quickly too. She arrived at the window at 8:58. The employees were walking out, the pharmacy was closed. There were two of them and when my daughter said she needed to pick up my perscriptions, they told her she should have been there ay 8:45. The sign says Closes at 9pm why are they closing at 8:45? I thought this pharmacy was there so you can shop and get you perscription convinently. The rude EMPLOYEES at this Walmart may have bad days but we did not tell them to work there or the long hours(IF THIS IS THE PROBLEM). The attitude of these employees seem to be getting worst. The customer services really needs a refresher.

You don't need to have a POA to receive information regarding healthcare information if the patient adds your name to their chart and specifies that you may receive medical information about them. The patient can limit the type of infomation they want shared or give carte blanche access.

Your daughter were asked to be back at 8:45. It takes times to pick up a prescription. Wal-Mart requires that all new medications must be counseled. I don't feel sorry for you one bit. You are a patient at the pharmacy, not a customer. You are not always right. Store management has no authority in the pharmacy. Those employees wanted to go home. They weren't closing at 8:45, they were requesting that your daughter be back so they could have time to take care of here and close when they are supposed to. Next time your are late for a plane, why don't you try calling the airline and ask them to hold the plane for you...see what happens. Be more respectful of the pharmacy personnel and arrive at the pharmacy at a reasonable time to pick up your prescriptions. Coming up to the counter at 8:58 (I'll bet anything it was 9:00), was irresponsible of your daughter. Her additional shopping could have waited until after she picked up the prescription.

Walmart tricked into 2 year phone contract

I was told if I did get into a two year contract that I would be eligible for upgrade discounts on phones. I’ve been out of contract for years and the only reason I agreed to get back into contract was if I could purchase a phone at walmart. I asked the rep”if I do this will I be able to purchase a phone at Walmart and be eligible to get they’re discount or upgrade specials?” She said “yes”. I asked again ” are you sure they’re not gonna say I’m not eligible for they’re specials because I didn’t do the contract through them?”

She said “No” that I would be eligible for FULL UPGRADES and that I could get a phone at Walmart or anywhere else. I said ” ok because that was the only reason I was considering getting into contract”. I just wanted to get a deal on a new phone, I have had my old Nokia flip phone for years! It does not work that good and well I would like to stay up with technology and wanted to get a Galaxy or sensation, it would really help me with my job.

I’ve been with you guys for awhile and have spent a lot of my hard earned money with your company. I’ve always paid my bills on time, why is so hard to get a lil help to a loyal customer? Why do I have to go through so much and still could not get help for the one thing I really needed. When I went to Walmart they said that I wasn’t eligible, when I called you guys I was told that I was NOT eligible for upgrades or specials! Now I’m in a contract that I feel I was miss led or tricked into just so I would sign on a two year contract.

I’m stiil in the same position I was in, but now I’m in a contract for two years. If you can’t help me, please release me from this contract so that I can take advantage of some other special that would get me into a galaxy phone with instant rebate and or discount.

Unfortunately, third party retailers of phones such as walmart, target etc go only by what it says in their systems and since they aren't an actual corporate location, they can't look up notes or anything posted in your account showing you were eligible. Since the contract was signed over the phone, it didn't show you as eligible anymore in their systems. What you need to do is call back on the phone explaining what happened and you'll probably need to go to a corporate location for your provider to receive the deals on the phone or have them send you a phone by mail. It sucks, but I worked at both a third party retailer for cell phones, and a corporate location and this kind of things happened all too often but could generally be rectified by going to the corporate store.

i tried to pay my cell phone bill in wal-mart, because t-mobile told me i could. went to the payment center gave the account number, name, last 4 digits of social, address, and name on account. Then the lady asked what was the zip code of the account number where it was located. in which i didn't know. so i couldn't pay the bill. that was pure stupid. the manager at t-mobile told me i could pay the bill there. Walmart proved them wrong.

Walmart last car battery i'll buy from walmart auto

I bought a Everstart battery from the local Wal Mart store about three years ago. I went out tonight to take the wife over to her brothers house and the Battery was dead. I took my battery tester and checked the battery and it showed bad. When I bought the battery they told me it had a 7 year warrenty and the first two years it was free replacement. I got no paperwork to show this just his word. Well when I took the battery into the store to get it replaced, afirst thing the automotive store was closed at 8pm.

I went to customer service and they tol me that someone was there and just take the old battery back to the rear of the store for service. Well I walked to the rear of the store and no one was there, I returned to the Service desk and they then told me to go get the replace battery off the shelve and bring it to the service desk. I once again walked to the rear of the store and found the battery and put it in a cart and returned to the service counter.

By now I an totally worn out for I am 76 years old and not in the best of shape. Well the girl said that the battery was more than two years and they was no warrenty left. I said what about the prorated warrenty, she said they no longer do that. Well how can someone once they sell you something with a warrenty change the warrenty at a later date. Then the girl took a tester and put on the battery and said it just needed charged.

Look I spent almost 50 years in the Automotive business with my own service center in Tampa. I have tested thousands of batterys and sold and replaced thousands. and this little 20 year old girl is telling me the battery is no good. She said to leave the battery there and they would try to charge it the next day and then I could pick it up or pick up the replacement battery then. Well I for one only have one car, I had a Dr appointment the next morning at 9:15am and no way to get there.

So I said just give me the new battery and let me bend over. I intend to call the service center in the morning and talk to the manager and see if what she told me was right. But if it was that will be the last battery I ever buy from WalMart.

Walmart very upset with customer service

On February 27th 2012 at around 10am I decided to go to WalMart to pick up a few items not thinking I was going down there I called first to state that i didnt have a certain layaway paper but someone said if I bring my license they can look it up. I finished shopping walked over to the layaway department a young gentleman told me that there wasnt money in a certain register so i should go over to the jewelry department. I walked over to the jewelry department and waited I thought the guy would send someone over there i waited for about 8-9 minutes.

When I finally realized no one was on their way I walked over to the electronics and I asked another guy can he page someone to jewelry he tells me he did. I wait another 5-8 minutes and Im still waiting another couple is looking at jewelry and he asked if a lady with a name tag works there she says no very rude and walks away. After waiting and asking specific people if they were employed there I walked to the front near customer service. I asked the older guy if he had seen a manager and he said no. He pointed to the front registers I walked over there.

As I was standing near the register I saw a lady with a walkie, I asked her does she know who the manager is she said she was. I told her my situation she apologized and sent someone to help me. As I was standing there the other lady assisted me but there was one that was complaining she need to get back to the shoe department. After dealing now with 8-9 employees my frustration was growing. The lady went and got a folder full of receipts that wasnt alpahabetized or nothing the shoe lady complained and then another lady named either Lashawn or Deshawn sorry about the name she looked through didnt complain or nothing and she was able to find my slip.

Throughout this entire experience I was walking on a bad knee I really wanted to get stuff and leave I spent 200 dollars in the store but Im not totally happy about ever coming back to tis location again. The manager the employees everything was just a headache and more. I would like a phone call cause the service there is terrible …. I left the store an hour later.

Walmart awful search engine

Did a basic search for a watch battery (which GOOGLE showed as a sponsored link) and it popped up 1877 results and not one of them was a watch battery! Tried searching under "watch battery" within the wal-mart search criteria and all I got was several thousand results showing watches, not batteries. WTF?
