Walgreens Pharmacy staff inept

complaint is for the Milford Pennsylvania pharmacy.

I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning at 6 am - not local to the pharmacy, which is ironically 5 minutes from home. My surgeon sent in a prescription in the early afternoon to this location, for my convenience to not have to worry about it after the surgery tomorrow morning.

At 3:00pm I called to verify the prescription was received and waited on hold over 20 minutes, which not a single person picked up the call.

Tried calling again and the automated prompts told me they’re working on it and will call when it’s ready. Come 5:00pm I drove to the pharmacy and was told that they are waiting for a call back from my Dr because they don’t have the dosage he asked for.

Well, the Dr office has closed down at 5:00 so if I didn’t walk in I would have been waiting for nothing- which is the end result.

My wife and I have never- not exaggerating- never had a prescription filled at this location without repeated calls and trips during the 5 years we have lived here.

Never again Walgreens! I’ll drive 30 minutes out of my way from this day forward to another pharmacy.

Walgreens Unfair and unlawful termination without warning or cause

My name is Tina Thomas address 86 Cherry Lane Bourbonnais IL 60914 phone number [protected]. I was hired at the Walgreens at 1050 Kennedy Dr Kankakee IL 60901 on 06/13/2022. I was hired to be the Shift Lead for 3rd shift. Makayla is the manager who interviewed me and informed me that I would be needed for 32hrs a week or less which I agreed to accept. During my employment there I was barely trained due to staff shortages but I was able to complete my managing tasks as expected. Due to the lack of employees to fill this shift many times I was left with only the female cashier this concerned me due to safety issues as well as limited knowledge of the tasks as a manager, but still I continued to preform at the best of my ability with diligence. The challenging issues mentioned eventually on 07/06/2022 was the cause of both female cashiers to no longer be employed for this shift which Makayla altered the schedule where my hours increased and my shift would consist of me and another female Shift Lead female employee alone for the entire shift.Although this misfortune occurred of the loss of both cashiers the increase of my hours would be deemed an issue due to the fact DCFS had just placed my 7month old granddaughter in my care for emergency placement which I informed Makalya via text on 07/07/2022 after receiving the text of new schedule. Makayla's response to my text was "ok sounds good Ill see what I can do thanks" because I asked for a minimum of 3 nights per week and maybe 1 day to fulfill the hours agreed upon hire. After working 2 consecutive nights I didn't have a sitter for 07/08/2022 she had became ill, I came I the store on that day around 5pm while Makayla was still at the store in a conversation with Trevia. She had her back turned to me which I began to inform her I would not be able to make it that evening reiterated the previous text of my granddaughter current circumstances

and possibly the next night also. She mumbled something while her back still turned which I heard her say call in the morning if your going to call off. That evening around 8:45pm I called the store because I was running a few min late and was told by Trevia she would be closing the store due to no replacements of cashiers. I then text Makayla as to what was stated asking to inform me of my next scheduled day, which she replied the next morning around 11am "You'll be off tonight as well" I replied ok when is the next nite I work on 07/11/2022. Since no response given I went to store on 07/13/2022 to check the schedule which my name was no where on it so I texted Makayla proof from DCFS of the circumstances as well I stated "I stopped by the store yesterday and Trevia said you are taking 3rd shift off I noticed I wasn't scheduled or listed am I still employed there or you just need time to get cashiers" her response was "Asp right now,3rd shift has been taken off completely due to no-one being able to work.You said you needed to be moved to work during the day if I had hours but I don't and honestly don't know when I will, then u said you were able to work 3 nights the week but at that point the overnight shift has already bee off the table.Unfortunately I will have to terminate u.thanks" which I asked on what grounds and I would file a grievance which she replied ok

Desired outcome: Transfer to another store or reinstate employment don't have my record reflect terminated on leave

Walgreens Rudeness of Manager of the Store and Covid test results

On July 13th at 9:30 am my husband and I went through the drive-through to get our Covid tests prior to traveling. Your web site indicates that the rapid NAAT results are received within 2 hours. When 6 hours went by, I was told by the pharmacist that my results were negative but that they were unable to send them because their system was down. I was asked to go pick them up if I needed them in writing. The next day, July 14, when I went to pick them up, their pharmacy was closed (it did not open July 14.) Since I needed the results for travel, my husband and I had to go get another test ($175 per person.) We didn’t get the rapid NAAT Covid test results until Saturday, July 16th (over 72 hours later) when we were on our trip. The store manager of 11494 Bonita Beach Rd, Bonita Springs, Fl 34135 was not only unable to answer any of my questions but was rude and impossible to talk to. Is there anything that can be done about this? Can I get reimbursed, since they did not comply with the timeline and the results were useless by the time they were received? Walgreens Pharmacy

My doctor sent in my prescription on July 6, 2022 for 10 mg Percocet. I have been very patient.

Today on July 20, 2022, I called Walgreens [protected] Palmetto Park Road Boca Raton. The Pharmasist was rude. She didn’t give me her name and told me I should call other Walgreen stores. Without me being able to say anything, she hung up. I was able to take the survey. I have many prescriptions at the store. I’m ready to take them someplace else where Walgreens will be out of my life.

Walgreens Pharmacy

I am writing you concerning my recent visit at store location # 06071. On 7/20/22 Medication was guaranteed in 15 minutes via phone. Arrived to location drive thru it took 1 hour 15 minutes at the drive thru to obtain what I needed. There was only 4 cars ahead of me, the Representative dispensed while I waited. Time is money and money is time.

Walgreens Pharmacist

I have a monthly prescription for tramadol 100mg 3 times/day that I have to go to this specific walgreens on brookhurst because no one else carries that strength. My surgery had problems so the doctor on call at my dr's location called in a perscription for 12 tablets on thursday for me to pick up sunday july 17th to get me through until july 21st for my normal prescription that also has this dr's name, so marjorie & then liz who refused to give me her last name, said she didn't feel comfortable filling that prescription because "it was too early for my prescription, it can be released on july 20". So liz & walgreens never flagged this prescript last week when it was put in & she offered to fax it today which no one is in the dr's office sunday! Liz wants the dr to give me a prescription for a different pain med or a different milligram because she can't figure out that a prescription for 12 tabs is a separate prescription! So she is over riding my prescription based not on a law she said but based on her feeling uncomfortable! So she's saying in fact that the dr on call last week at my dr's office doesn't know how to write s prescription! Are you kidding?! So nothing flagged it in the walmart pharmacy computer last week when it was sent by the doctor who went to medical school but liz abused her power & made that decision before liz even got on the phone! So i'm left with zero pain med until liz & walgreens can do their job & talk to the doctor mon-fri! I am pissed off & yelling at them because as the patient who didn't get my md or pharmacist certificate who had to explain, defend & forced to deal with no pain med for at least 24 hours! Why cant liz the pharmacy manager do her job & call the doctor when the prescription comes in?! Marjorie & liz are very unprofessional especially when it comes to a patient in pain & something marjorie said was a law but liz said no, it's not a law it's about her being "uncomfortable" but she is comfortable overruling an actual dr with a license at the same location as my reg pain management dr! So in fact she doesn't know my medical history but she's making a medical decision overruling a dr who knows I had my 9th back surgery & there were complications! Liz said the dr should have added it to the next prescription in july 20th so i'm going to let the dr's office know how the dr was wrong & he doesn't know how to write a partial perscription per liz! I wouldn't ever go to this walgreens again because of this but i'm stuck getting no just my pain med because of no the dosage (which liz is ok with giving me partial prescriptions almost every no month because they have to order it so there's hardly ever the full 90 tabs when I pick it up each month!)

Walgreens Pharmacy

I went to pick up my son's prescription after I left work today. Friday, 7/15/22. because the pharmacy is no longer open on the weekends. I got there about 3 and they were closed. I asked the employee at the cash register and she said they were closed due to an emergency. I did not recieve any notification about this and then was told that I would have to go all the way up to the Walgreens on the north end of town to get my prescription. When I got there, the line to the pharmacy drive through was so long that it was difficult to get into the parking lot. When I got to the pharmacy, the staff person had a hard time fiding my sons information and then I was told that the prescription was not fillled and I would have to wait. I had gotten a text from the Walgreens on South that the presription was filled. I am very tired of the lack of staff at the Walgreens on S 4th ST and I am not willing to drive all the way to the north end of town when the 4th st one closes or shuts down early. I will therefore be transferring our prescriptions to Hyvee which is directly across the street. The poor service I have received and never knowing when they will be open has been the deciding factor. Todays events caused me an additiional hour just to get my son's presription.

Walgreens Not filling my neds

I have waited on the phone for two hours and the sandy oregon Walgreens won’t answer. I have my meds on auto refill and I haven’t been able to get them because they will not answer the phone. I submitted my ursodile June 28th for refill and have it sent to me, nothing has showed up or happened. I even paid to have them sent asap and I still do not get them. This is unexceptional. I’m transferring my meds to a different pharmacy as soon as I receive my meds or get my call answered. This is BS. Teresa Peixoto [protected]. [protected]@gmail.com.

Walgreens Service and compassion for the customers. This store is in Redding, California at 115 Lake Blvd

people, some old and some disabled stand in line at the pharmacy for way to long.

Was there today and I counted

12 people in line when they pulled down the enclosure for an hour lunch. This is horribly wrong and if that's Walgreens policy endorses that I will never return.

I've worked in management myself for many years and the customer is always #1.

What should be done and like most places you do split shifts for lunch and keep the flow of customers going and the customers content.

I wanted to speak with the manager but of course he or she wasn't available.

Desired outcome: I just want to know what Walgreens policy is customers first, and why they don't do a split lunch time for their customers. Totally a management issue

Walgreens Wrong Vaccination

On June 29th I made an appointment online for my daughter to get a tetanus booster. When we arrived for the appointment we told the lady at the counter that we had an appointment to get a tetanus booster so my daughter can enter university in the fall. She administered a Covid booster instead. She never asked if my daughter had her first two shots of a covid vaccine - never even mentioned that it was a covid booster - just assumed that was what we wanted and apparently never looked at what was on the computer for the appointment. We have complained to the pharmacy (Columbus, GA) and the pharmacist said he had opened an investigation. We have heard nothing back yet and this is now the second compliant I am making about this situation. I need someone to respond to this please. We do a lot of business with Walgreens and have never had this problem. I am shocked that this happened and am outraged that this is what they gave my daughter when it was not needed and not asked for.

Walgreens Pharmacy

I sent this to the pharmacy board. I am just getting started. I was given someone else's prescription. I need mine and I imagine Hannah Milner want's hers to. Many people die each year for this reason. Gross negligence that has caused harm, I'm out of my medication, and the pharmacy doesn't answer the phone (try it) Store is 5000 River Road  Keizer, OR  [protected]. Walgreens Unsanitary store

I went to one of your stores at 4:00 pm 07/13/22 in Alaska. No one wants to go there because it is so dirty. When that store first opened it was clean for several years. Now it has gone down hill. The store address is 7600 Debarr Road, Anchorage Ak 99504. Pictures are attached. P.S. You should see the shelves dirty.

Desired outcome: Clean up the store. Looks like crap. If I was a store owner I would be ashamed. None of your competitor's stores look like this.

Walgreens Pharmacy

Good Afternoon,

I would like to register a complaint. I called the Pharmacy to check to see if a prescription was ready, I was driving from Humble, Texas back into Houston. I placed my call at 1:03 p.m., I was still holding at 1:26 p.m. I continue to hold on the phone as I entered the store. Someone picked the phone up, and immediately hung it up. I went to the pharmacy, and there was nobody there at all, and two employees. There was a Hispanic young lady and Marcus who was waiting on a car that was at the window.

I got to the counter and said, I have been on hold for 23 minutes, and then you hung the phone up without answering it, and there is nobody here.

The young lady asked me; "did you see me hang up the phone", and she was standing in front of the phone. There wasn't anyone physically at the pharmacy area, NOBODY. I was really upset to see no customers, and them not answering the phones. She asks me for the information for my prescription. It took three minutes for her to check.

In the meantime Marcus the other worker said to me; "you should have checked the app, and I went on to say;"I was driving. When I walked off from the Pharmacy, Marcus proceeded to go on the intercom to tell me; to USE THE APP NEXT TIME; over the whole store. I ask for the Manager, and there was one in the front at one of the registers, and I told him I needed his name, and ask him did he hear what Marcus just said over the intercom. Both persons heard it but didn't understand what he was talking about until I told them he was talking to me. Thank was being a bully, disrespectful, unintelligent, and unprofessional.

This was rude and absolute no customer service. How many people have they left on the phone because they didn't want to answer it? Walgreen doesn't give customers anything, we purchase everything, and the least thing that can be given is common courtesy, or just good customer service.

I am filing this complaint because I didn't have emergency, but suppose I would been in a distress situation, and I needed assistance.

I don't know what your policies are but something needs to be done about Marcus using store intercom to be rude to a customer, and how many more has he done that too. My name is Dr. Patricia N. Como-Hopkins, and my phone number is [protected]. I don't need anything free, or nothing to stroke my feelings, but what I need is someone to return a call to me, because I intend to follow through with this complaint. Thank you!

Desired outcome: This is not the first time he's done this, maybe it's time for him to be moved to another store. As I stated, I need nothing free, just for Marcus to understand what your company stands for if that's your policy.

Walgreens Pharmacy

On 7/8, I made an appointment on line for the Bridgeport Main St location for a PCR Covid test thru the drive thru for 7/9 at 9:30am. I arrived at my scheduled time to the drive thru, only to discover that the pharmacy was closed. I tried calling the store only to be re routed to a call center where I tried to find out what was going on. I ended up hanging up on the person I was speaking with because she was clueless. My husband ended up going into the store and spoke with the manager who stated that the pharmacy was closed on Saturdays and it had nothing to do with him. Why would the system even let me schedule an appointment if the pharmacy was closed? Why wouldn't there be some sort of cancellation sent? Most importantly, why would a pharmacy be closed on a Saturday? Needless to say, I went to CVS and got right in, and now all of my prescriptions and business will be there going forward.

Desired outcome: Figure out a way to staff your location. CVS seems to be doing it right. I expect a response and a resolution.

Walgreens online rx ordering

never had this problem before. I'll get an email from walgreens saying one or more Rx ready for reordering. when logging in I get the same error--sorry this is service is unavailable at this time, making it impossible to order my RX. because of this I may be ordering from Express Scripts from now on. Even thou I dislike home delivery because Walgreens is only 2 miles away from me.

I would rather order from you online when I need it but your online service is making this impossible.

Walgreens The manager who is overkill he's too much and the cashier

July 8th 2022 at Walgreens on chestnut cross Steiner in sf ca manager abused me he yelled at me to get out of his store the security guard was nice to me the cashier was mean I am tramatozed and discriminated by that manager he is a hatefull monster I have gone to that Walgreens for fifeteen twenty years because of the COVID I didn't go now I'm abused! I needed to get therma flu and Carmel and Tylenol and hair color kit splat bleach and perfume

Desired outcome: I was kicked out so rudely and suffer concequences I do not deserve I study law at sf state university I never was treated so abusingly by that manager he hates me I didn't do nothing wrong!

Walgreens Pharmacist Oldfield Crossing Bl Jax fl 288-0652

I sat in my car in the drive-thru with one car ahead of me for thirty minutes on 7/7/22 I literally called the pharmacy from my car to ask why the drive thru was not moving and "Alicia" chastized me for a good three minutes, I then laid on my horn to get their attention at which time the I had some choice words with "Alicia" the chastizer, and at this time she called over the pharmacist, he and I had words and he refused to sell me my mothers rx's my gets over a $1000 per month there and that is the worst I have ever been treated by someone. I transferred all of her rx's to walmart and the pharmacist won't transfer them, so unless you people want a lawsuit I would suggest you transfer these prescriptions ASAP. ASHOLES.

Desired outcome: The prescriptions get transferred immediately to walmart, and I'm not playing here, keep trying me.

Walgreens COVID 19 testing

To sign up for an appointment for COVID testing, you must go through the website. On the website it states that testing is at no cost to me. I sign up on 5 July for testing to happen on 6 July 2022. I get to my appointment, and they say I have to pay $125, and insurance will not cover it. What's going on? Either fix the information on the website or stick to what the site says...

Walgreens I ain't working at this walgreens no more

I was a good co worker at that Walgreens at 3522 West Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until store managers Matt and Mr. Carl Jones fired me over some BS and They did the same thing to Melissa by firing her too! This Walgreens store is sick, twisted evil and rotten, Because the store managers be trippin and they be on that BS, This Walgreens don't open 24 hours a day and They close at 12:00am midnight Because black men and black women panhandlers be standing outside in front of the store asking, begging and harrassing good customers for money and change and That makes customers very uncomfortable! Black people and Black customers be stealing from that Walgreens store, That's why the security guard be coming to that Walgreens early in the morning. That's why these good co-workers Serena Rehak, Mechelle Halverson, Vanessa, Tara, Brittany, Kasheena, Carmen, Marcell, Titus, Kristin in the Pharmacy department and the other good black and white co-workers left this Walgreens, Because of the store's BS and The store managers BS, This Walgreens needs to close and shut down permanently!

Walgreens Zolpidem Tabs 10 mg, 100 - Aurobindo

On July1,2022 I purchased Zolpidem Tabs 10 mg, Aurobindo from Walgreens.

This medication does not work as has alter my sleep pattern to NO SLEEP AT ALL.

I’ve contact the local Walgreens Rx she stated to contact my doctor.. (REALLY) The doctor did write the prescription but Walgreens should make patients aware that they change mfg. for this medication. $$$$ My health plan and I paid Walgreens the same and I want my medication to be the same…B/S
