We had breakfast at this waffle house and it was nasty. The walk to the door smell like cigarette butts. The floor going in and throughout the inside was nasty. The window skills on the inside had a large amount of bugs and dirt in them. The container that the toothpicks were in was black inside instead of the Grey of the bin. There was paper and dirt on the floor. There was 2 cooks and 3 waitresses there and they were too busy talking to take the time to try and clean things up. There was only 5 customers there so someone could have been sweeping and mopping up. We eat there frequently and have never seen it so nasty. We are not sure that we will be back!

Lady name jasmine was horrible and rude and stink. She rushed us and made us feel very unwelcome from the time she greatest us until we left. She treated us like a child. Food was horrible and she was on her phone and all. I hope some thing omg gets done about this because that was my first time getting treated like that and I hope it gets taken care of correct because I will never come in there again as along as she work there. Matter fact I will sue
Jasmine server name at the Waffle House on Kirkman disrespected me and several other customers... she did nothing but make me feel belittle and didn't even want to take my order... I watched her spit in someone food. Lucky I told the couple.. when I confronted her she called me a liar and a [censored] nothing but rude and nasty slurs. It has come to the point where I wanted to walk out. Took 45 Mins for us to get our food when I asked why she said because she had better things to do then worry about some white [censored]. Told us we better tip her and gave us our wrong change but we left without a fight or anything

My husband and I always come to this Waffle House at least 4-6 times a month, and never have any problems. We're always very satisfied and the hospitality the employees have is wonderful. This morning I was very disappointed though. The lady Amanda that waited on us had a very nasty attitude not only towards me but towards her coworkers as well.I told her the tea I was given was unsweet instead of sweet tea and she threw the cup in the sink and yelled at the coworkers that she'd told them multiple times about giving customers unsweet. Then as we were ordering I was told that I couldn't get a waffle instead of hashbrowns with my bacon, egg and cheese melt. Which has never been a issue before. When our food came out I was given a steak and cheese sandwich so I told her that wasnt what I ordered. She had a nasty attitude that that's why she asked me if I wanted onions. I said no about the onions because a bacon, egg and cheese melt doesn't come with onions. She then turned to a coworker and shoved the plate at them and said to make the bacon, egg and cheese and made a snobby comment, basically calling me a liar because she messed up. I myself work in customer service as well so I get everyone has bad days and things can go wrong but that was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Especially in a restaurant like this where all the customers can hear and see everything going on. I dont normally complain but that was ridiculous. Otherwise everyone else was very friendly and the food was great as always.

I went to the knightdale nc location... The worse waffle house i've ever been to. Firstly the server gina was very inhospitable. I was willing to deal with her poor attitude because I love waffle house and we don't have them where I live (seattle). But the food was bad/ wrong. Eggs over medium had runny whites, I asked them to re cook eggs and they came back fried hard. I didn't want to send them back again but I could not eat them either. Meanwhile I still didn't have my bacon and the rest of food was getting cold. I had to ask for bacon twice, before I could get it I paid check and left the bad good on the table. This was awful. I had to write the complaint before finding another placed to eat.

On 9/9/19 at 12:00 pm, my husband and I came to the Waffle House in Elizabethton Tenn. We ordered the two egg breakfast, over medium with double scattered hash browns, raisin toast, mine with sausage his country ham and coffee. The eggs were burnt on the edges and raw in the middle. The hash browns same way with no onions. His ham was raw, my sausage was well done on one side, barely cooked on other. Raisin toast wasn't toasted, my husband watched the girl cooking pop the toaster up. Have you ever had raisin bread not toasted? Really gross! The waitress was very nice but didn't offer more coffee until we were finished eating. We did eat our breakfast because we were hungry. We think the girl cooking is a manager, she has a different shirt on, black polo, no name tag, and looked to be training someone. We have eaten at many Waffle House's, from NC to AZ, From FL to MD, this is the worst one, very disappointed. We ate at the on in St. Petersburg FL, large volume store, and it was great! As busy as they were, our food was perfect. As I sit here typing this, we're still waiting on our check!

I have been coming to this waffle house for years and ever since the store got a new 3rd shift cook, the store has gone downhill. I complained about my food and the conduct of employees before and I see nothing has changed. I've been coming here twice a week, every week for at least 5 years and I've never experienced such horrible service in my life. When I pull up, your employees are outside smoking(even the pregnant waitress who plays the pity card to customers) one time I had to hunt down the cook and waitress and they were out back getting high. Last week when I was in here, my waitress, Jennifer was talking about trying to find pills. The other waitress, Taylor took her boyfriend behind the store. That night a customer walked out because the cook was outside and wouldn't cook any food, there was no gravy. One time, my waitress Raven was so high she couldn't take my regular order down correctly. I've come in while the older lady is cooking we talk and she says that the whole store is aware of the drug problem going on but obviously nothing is being done about it. I sometimes see another regular customer who comes in, and on one of my visits, he even said that the store isn't being ran like it should be. He comes in more often than I do and has told me that he is bothered by the cook flirting with all the younger waitresses and other females that come in. I've never had a problem with this restaurant before but I've recently started saving my receipts to confirm that all of this is going on in front of customers and that management isn't handling the problem. Some of their friends come in drunk to hang out with employees and it slows the whole store down because they are more focused on hanging out with their friends than they are doing their job. They talk vulgar and make rude comments about the female customers that come in. One of their friends that hangs out with them, harasses female customers that come in, drunkenly hitting on them and making them uncomfortable. The whole experience of coming to this restaurant has changed and I'm very displeased with the service I now receive when this group of employees are in the store. I walked out tonight, because I'm not comfortable with the fact that this is allowed to go on.

As I parked I noticed the cook in the parking lot coming from her car
Upon entering wait staff was sitting in far right corner with one woman customer talking
I came to sit at the bar, I usually sit next to the cash register at Waffle House, but this was only my second time at this particular one.
The countertop was dirty, rings from coffee cups that had been wiped over lightly and syrup still sticky in a couple spots
As I moved down the bar it was necessary to pick out the least filthy spot
After Cody finished his conversation he walked past me, said I'll be right with you, he went into the back, after a few minutes he came back.
Cook, Andi, also came in by the grill toeing her apron
Cody brought silverware, I asked for a wet rag to wash the counter
He gave me a paper cleaning cloth and I washed the counter in front and around me
I had to chip some spots with my thumbnail to get it cleaned
Apparently had been there for quite some time
All this time Sebreena was sitting talking to the woman
About the time Cody took my order she got up and washed some dishes
Nobody touched the counter top
After a few minutes my order was ready and all 3 of them were over with the woman Sabreena sitting carrying on the endless conversation
That woman was tho only other customer in the place and 90% of Sabreena's time, 60% of Cody's time and 25% of Andi's time was spent in that corner
When I left about 5:37 none of them had done any cleaning of the countertop
A young man came in to cook, think his name was jack, no problem with him of course I was leaving then
I don't know much about the cook, but the burger was done properly and tasted good
But I would fire the other two in a minute
Also, every time the door opened there was a screeching metal to metal sound that was very loud
I love Waffle House, I just wont be going back to that one
Cleanup their act because that place is a detriment to your public relations

mi hijo y yo vamos a Waffle House en Easley todos los domingos y principalmente los lunes por la noche alrededor de la medianoche debido a la excelente cocina que tienen allí el pasado lunes por la noche, pero no fue diferente por alguna razón, todo el restaurante estaba en caos y no estamos acostumbrados para eso obtuvimos nuestra comida como siempre, como siempre lo hacemos, pero la cocinera se vio un poco frustrada porque no podía comunicarse con sus compañeros de trabajo porque no le contestaban y trabajaban juntos, ella ayudaba cuando era necesario y los ayudaba cuando podía sin embargo, no le dieron eso a cambio. Creo en Waffle House que cuelgas allí

I was in the Waffle House @ 3134 Peach Orchard Rd this morning @ 9:45am first didn't get a receipt, the older lady who had on glasses. took my order had her hair up in ball in the back, very petite, once my order was ready I asked her was that a small omelet she picked it up and threw it on the counter as to said look real go. Every time I come in that particular Waffle House I always has a problem with her. And the lady sitting next to me asked and question about her food, she didn't get and answer, she asked was her pork chop well done, no one answer. Will not eat their again.

I will never step foot in this restaurant again. My family came in on 9/2/2019 at 7:30 I'm. As we were walking in I could see the 2 girls rolling their eyes as if they weren't in the mood for serving anyone, and no one else was in the restaurant. My family sat down and all 3 employees completely ignored us. After close to 5 minutes we got up and walked out, and they just laughed. Disgusting customer service.

My husband and I called the store to place a order and someone kept picking up the phone and hanging it up in our face. We called at least 7 or 8 times and on the last time they picked up and left the phone off the hook. We heard people In the store talking and placing orders. No one never took our order so we had to call another waffle house for food. Unacceptable and unprofessional!

My family and I went to waffle house unit 1349 and happen to sit right behind the staff cooking. Between 9:20am and 9:46am I watched " Brandy" do the following NEVER changing her gloves:
Pull out steak, then bacon, then sausage from the freezed (that has gloves right above it) not once but about 6 or 7 times. All while plating, actually touching customers bacon and the sometimes the bottom of the plates just to then stack on top of someone else's meat.
She not only picked up cooked bacon with those same gloves and re-heated and put back on the plate.
THEN having no clue or no care that i was watching spilled the RAW eggs that she was taking off that mixer all over then meat that was cooking and those plates that sat in front of her. Did she throw it away in case someone was allergic? No! She scraped it off continued cooking and plated to serve to someone. When i told my server Mari I refused to eat that bacon she put it back and i politely let her know that Brandy still had not changed her gloves but Mari said nothing but 'sorry' to me not all those ppl that was getting ready to consume all that. Ugh. I wa as done eating at this point but waited to see if anyone of the 7 ppl standing up there including the informed mari no one said anything. I watched brandy pull a bloody bag of the last two meat out the freezer over the plates, also wipe her hands accross her butt across the front of her apron, wipe the sweat from her forehead, lean over the plates apron touching the plates, still picking up raw meat then cold cooked bacon to reheat, even catchimg falling bacon with her arm that she again wiped her sweat with all wearing the same gloves i mean it was disgusting. Although, i attemptes not to make a seen by informing my waitress Mari, she did nothing. No one did anything. She never changed her gloves and i must say i am sick to my stomach and really wanting to tell everyone in the restaurant to send their food back. Being busy is NO EXCUSE to be disgusting not by servsafe standards, department of health..etc. its common cleanliness and decency. I will also report this to the proper authorities now that i know even informing someone doesnt help.
Brandy definitely needs further training because I can guarantee she wouldnt feed that food to her family if she seen someone else doing exactly what she just did. Unacceptable!
I pray this establishments cameras work for you to do your own review bc they kept standing in front of my camera as my waitress seemingly awkwardly tried not to 'get her in trouble'

I called at 6:10am on 8/24/19 Saturday this morning and Jj was very rude on the phone and told me that she wouldn't take my order over the phone. I told her that I call in my order on Saturdays. Then she stated that "okay" and took my order over the phone explaining to me what her reasons where. When I went to pick up my breakfast she was standing at the register, speaking with Co-worker. I stated to her that she was so disrespectful over the phone. She said I just will apologize and I stated to her that I was the customer. The next thing I acknowledged was her cussing me and letting me know that this job didn't pay her enough for this. I asked to speak with a supervisor after Jj went in back to explain to her. Supervisor, think her name was Jesse, took forever to come out and speak with me. Waffle House, as a company, you need to know about conducts in the workplace relating to customer.

14 out of 18 tables tables nasty, 2 customers in the bld. Employees were too busy conversing with each other, than taking care of food. Was around 7:00 pm on a Friday night. Forgot part of order, had to get their attention for order of bacon, and refills..We eat here way too much to complain like this! Need a lesson from Chick-fil-a 🤨 One employee came in, cook, told waitress it wasn't his job to help her ... No manager on site yet. Very unprofessional! The cooks were very nice when we came in and left, but they need to pay more attention in between

My sons and I come into Waffle House on a regular. We love to come in and play TouchTunes. We have a playlist of songs and it's a tradition to come in, order the same food, and play our songs.
We were at Waffle House #34 off Windy Hill Road in Marietta, GA ... listening to our music and eating when another customer comes into the store and complains that he didn't like the music. Instead of seeking out the patrons who PAID for the music the manager automatically turns the music down.
Never had this happen before, and honestly I wasted my money playing songs I could hardly hear.

Was at your location around 7:30, there was 3 young boys working. All 3 looked to young and no manager was seen. They were complaining about the plates they were supposed to be making. There was only 3 other tables needing food. The tea was sour and nasty, the Texas toast bacon egg and cheese wasn't cut in half, bacon was burnt, and the plates didn't have the pickles on it. Just awful service and the employees you have in here need to be trained and coached on what to say and not to say around your guest. You shouldn't be worried about your text messages or how much your phone is charged. Your customers are important. You need to understand that.

Restaurant smelled strongly of chlorine/cleaner. Destroyed my appetite, but my companion said she could tolerate. The waitress apologized. About 5 minutes later, as my friends food was being delivered the COOK decided to mop the staff floor - with this same STINKING cleaner. Made me sick. Me and companion had to leave (friend never did eat). Waitress came outside, charged me for the meal (again, never touched). Told her nothing touched, restaurants fault. Said she'd call police. I paid almost $15 for MEAL ABANDONED AT THE TABLE, UNTOUCHED!
Wonder if food is prepared with same care and concern they have for customers?!?
I wasn't loud, rude, or abusive. I calmly complained about the "smell" only to have the cook create a worse environment. I'm white, wheelchair bound with a Korean companion, - and can't help wondering about the attitude being staff "black" motivated?
My response- I disagree in that I DID ask for "to go" only to be told that the food could only be boxed if paid for BEFORE we left the table. I'm white, wheelchair bound, with a Korean friend and felt certain that NO EFFORT was made to be courteous or helpful. Creating more "STINK" when I'd just mentioned the odor was thoughtless, - rude.
Probably a very long time before I spend another nickle at WH. Good food can be served with dignity, and CLEAN, APPEALING environment.

Waffle House,
My wife and I went to eat breakfast Sunday night 8/11/19 @8:00 pm. A Server was mopping the floor and told us the floor was slippery and the stores' AC must not have been functioning correctly because the store was not cool. . There was only one other customer in the store at the time.
We waited patiently to be waited on but no server offered to wait on us. A young couple came in 10 minutes behind us. The server greeted them at the door and offered to wait on them while he had not acknowledged us.
At that time we got up and walked out and no one still acknowledged us.
This is not customer service and we will not be visiting this location again.

Was at Waffle House #1891 on 8/11/19 at 9:50am the waitress was uncaring she dropped my silverware picked it up and placed on place setting as if it was nothing I had to request clean utensils. She left of sitting waiting on our order for over 15 min because she didn't put it in. The order when we did receive it was incorrect and the WAFFLES missing she still had no care. The food was not tasty the ham tasted spoiled the grits not fully cooked and when we finally got our Waffles they we're hard and cold. The other wait staff seemed to be caring and checking to see if the consumer food was good and if anything else was needed. Not this waitress. It was my first time and probably my last visiting this location.

I'm complaining about the cook ally not getting paid her worth. Somebody give her a raise. She up this morning at 4:36am serving myself and partner as well as another couple when she is the cook. While the serving staff is outside smoking she's doing work double time. Promote her for her dedication to this Company or else ur going to loose an assest
