Waffle House Refused to give service

At approx. 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22nd, my husband and his 82 yr. old mother pulled up and parked in the handicapped parking spot on the side where he always park. He got his mother's wheelchair out, put her in it, and went inside the restaurant to sit down and order their meal. When he entered the restaurant the cook started telling him to move his vehicle. He responded we are disabled, and I parked in the handicapped spot where I always park. He kept hollering loud that I had to move. I told him I was not moving. He then said out loud, if you don't move, I'm not cooking you any food. Then the waitress came over to see if we only wanted a drink, because the cook said he was not going to cook us any food. My husband then asked for the manager. The acting manager came over and apologized and said, she would cook out food. At that time, his mother was crying, scared, and wanted to leave. My husband told her they were not leaving, and they were going to eat their food. The acting manager cooked their food and served them about 3:30. They ate, paid for their food and then left. They were embarrassed, humiliated, and discriminated against. No customer should be treated that way, especially disabled persons. This occurred at the Waffle House on 706 Sullivan Road, Statesville, NC 28677.

Desired outcome: I want for someone in corporate management to contact me.

Waffle House #1 i am a employee

yes;yes;yes my name is almisha bridgedette coleman I have not clocked in sense june 12,2022 it is now July 26,2022 my hours do not add up to be honest I should have filed a sserious;serious complaint last month June 12,2022 I am in shock 2.i started at store unit #295 buford hwy.#2 1085 Pharr road #[protected] roswell road my hours are not right I deserve BACK $$$$$$PAY AND I have not clocked myself in.

Waffle House Order not right

My wife and I stopped at a Waffle a little after 10 pm last night. We pulled in and parked in a "Handy Cap" space, we have a Handy Cap tag. The cook was in the parking lot doing what looked to be a drug transaction, and on our way in she said we needed a sticker to park there. I told her we had a handy cap tag, she said we needed a sticker too. We started to leave at that point, but we didn't. My wife ordered a hamburger (without cheese) the cook put cheese on it and then scrapped it off. I ordered a double order of hash browns scattered and smothered, she only put one slice of cheese on them, there SHOULD have been two. She was rude and inconsiderate.

The waitress on the other hand was extremely nice. People like the cook should not be working at Waffle House.

My wife and I eat at Waffle Houses all over and we have never had worse treatment.

Waffle House Employee at Quinton, VA Waffle House

I walked into the Waffle House on 7/18/22 at 12:30 a.m. and asked if they were open because the employee was alone, cleaning and no one was at the restaurant. Places have been changing hours so I thought maybe it was closing or closed.

The lady rudely said to me, "You walked in didn't you?" in a condescending tone and rolled her eyes. In fact, I cannot even put into words how rude and awful it was (and I am a writer). I have never been talked to in such a way and it has put me off of my local waffle house. I go there a lot because I keep strange hours, but I don't think I will again. Needless to say, my friend and I turned around and left.

I also have this nagging feeling of going public about it and I have 200 friends who live in the county and work for the local paper so it would go around fast. Because I don't want ANYONE to go through that.

Corporate and the management should know that that woman should not be working there or at least be talked to about changing her attitude. I can understand now why she was alone. I guarantee that she ran off other people with her horrible attitude.

I never publicly complain but I had to because that was uncalled for.

Waffle House - Employee noise while trying to eat

My wife and I went to our neighborhood Waffle House on Saturday. When we walked in we were the only customers in the dining room. We sat down and the staff had the music so loud on the juke box you couldn't hear each other talk and the employees had to scream at each other to hear each other talk. The music stayed like this through our whole meal.

Waffle House food and service

on July 3,2022 we went around 11:30 pm to the store in Easley,SC. Upon arrival at the store no tables were cleaned so we sat down where someone else had been sitting and about 35 minutes into us sitting down I caught a waitress as she was going by and got her to clean table off. then she just cleared the plates and glasses and never wiped it down. So we waited around another 35 minutes before we got to order. 2 of us orderered the allstar breakfast and never received our waffles and our eggs were ordered srambled well and both of them had cheese on them, couldn't eat those either. We have been going to wafflehouse for years but this was the worst experience ever, they were letting some of the people leave with food in boxes and not having to pay that were sitting at the booth. we also never got any refills or some of our food. it was terrible customer service and waiting and we spent about 2 hours with everthing going on in there. Part of the staff didn't ack like they wanted or cared to do anything. It will be a while before me and my family decide to go there again, their were 4 of us. Waffle House I still have not received my full refund!

$10.25 was taken off my debt card and I only originally charged $6.05. After calling Ms. Gladys at the restaurant explaining to her that I won't be in the area anytime soon to get the money out back on my card she hung up on me. As of right now I have been over charged and nothing being done to correct the problem. This issue originally took place Thursday morning 30th June. Also this is the 2nd email that I submitted in reference to this.

Desired outcome: I need the rest of my money refunded now! I'm a truck driver I won't be in Richmond Hill, Ga anytime soon.

Waffle House Added HAM to 2 Veggie Omelettes - 2X in a WEEK, Hung up on me 3x BEFORE I Spoke, This KAYLA Talked to me EXTREMELY RUDE At Store 1195, Seneca SC

I work for undercover for FED. AGENCY assigned to Narcotics at Greenville Sheriff Dept. Before that, Army for 7 years and became injured vet. So I’ve ate at Waffle Houses in MANY states n cities. But I NEVER got 2 of 3 orders WRONG in 1 week until now. But when a Staff Member, KAYLA at #1195 DISRESPECTS ME FOR THEIR MISTAKE! Not gonna do that with me! I ordered 3 to-go plates of DOUBLE VEGETABLES, CHEESE, NO MEAT - DOUBLE OMELETTES, with sides on 3 days. First one was great. Last 2 had HAM IN OMELETTES - A LOT, but not many vegetables. I let the first one go. Then on 01JULY2022 at 10:20-30 am approx, I got the SECOND two hammed-up same way. So I called and they HUNG UP- 3 TIMES - before I spoke! Then straight to machine. I called 02JULY2022 at about 9 am, spoke to unknown, and she said “WE CAN FIX YOU ANOTHER ORDER” - which is good. But once I arrived at #1195, KAYLA met me with a frown, NO APOLOGY FOR THEIR ERRORS, THEN KAYLA RUDELY TOLD ME: "CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU GO BECAUSE I WONT REPLACE ANOTHER ONE." How do you check mine and another Officers' Omelette at counter for HAM? Why not "We're sorry for the mix up and let me know if there's any problem?" The food was prepared wrong TWICE in one week at Seneca by THEM, got hung up on 3 times, BUT KAYLA RUDE IN TONE & CONTENT, NO APOLOGY, THEN SHE I TOLD ME TO CHECK 2 EGG OMELETTES BECAUSE SHE WONT REPLACE IT AGAIN! THAT DID IT! My partner is from CA. I introduced her to Waffle House. She is MAD! I am MAD too! We eat in GVL. 3-4X week!

My daughter and I had just gotten back to Arkansas after a long plane ride. We’ve been going to the Rebsaman Road restaurant in Little Rock, AR because the food has always been good especially when the older lady is there. Well,upon entering the restaurant all three of the employees were in a heated argument. The two young ladies were cursing at the male co-worker I think his name is Ken as well as an annoying customer. The tables were dirty, they did not attempt to clean the tables. One young lady by the name of Kenyatta looked at my daughter and me and kept walking. There was another young lady that had the nastiest facial expression that said, I'm not taking any orders and walked outside cursing as well. Now, the two young ladies were cooking because the cook Ken said I’m not cooking [censored]. I've never heard the F-word and the B-word said many times, especially in a restaurant. The waitresses had to cook because Ken burned all of the food they threw away so much food. Ken the cook sat down and played music on his phone. Then he tells the ladies that he wasn't going to clean any of the tables and he held true to that. Now, mind you, my daughter and I had just made it back from Florida, and all we wanted was to sit down and eat. We were there for 1.5 hours and they were telling customers that they weren't taking any more orders because they were swamped. This is so unsatisfactory and just awful that we all had to listen to this, the one lady told a customer that she’d bash a customer in the face with a skillet if he didn't shut the f*** up! I love this restaurant but I'm going to tell my family and friends to never visit the restaurant. This was so unsatisfactory the entire crew needs to be retrained or fired. I really want to speak to someone concerning this matter, I’d be typing all night.

Waffle House Employee needs to be fired!!

Group of friends and I went to a waffle house in myrtle beach, sc (711 frontage rd e, myrtle beach, sc 29577). We sat down to eat and our server was "mandy" but did not know the name nor paid much attention while looking at the menu till after the fact. So as mandy came back to the table with the drinks, who was taking forever to even come take our order after 15 mins waiting to be greeted. So my friend asked who the server was and ended up finally getting some service to the table. So we ordered drinks and not everyone was ready. When the server brought drinks to the table, I said "thank you sir" and all hell broke loose! Mandy flipped and got mad and the first words was"gtfo and I am not serving you all today! Gtfo now and kiss my a..., astonished friends and I looked at him closely and said wtf is your problem, we did not notice your name tag says:" mandy" and let alone you did not greet table with your name! Came to the table and said what do you want to drink and that is it! We were only showing respect as we have been raised to do so by saying ty sir or mam for that is how I was raised, my children to show respect to everyone, and friends. I think this server was high asf or on something for this server mandy was beyond blowing it way out of proportion than what it really was flipping on us all. Even other customers had asked server mandy to calm down for we had meant nothing by it when your talking like a man, dressed like a man, no makeup or wig, but what gave it away and made sense after the fact had little boobies growing that the waffle house employee grabbed and said this should tell you that I am transitioning to female and you need call me by mandy or mam! Turned into a big fighting and outburst by mandy, that we asked to speak to the manager in charge. The manager who refused to give a name to make a report said we can make a complaint with corp and the number is on the door. Fyi there was no number or anything to call to complaint to on door! The manager said what mandy says goes! I can not deal with my bosses with this server due to the attitude and complaints I have gotten with this server and did not want to get fired! For us to leave and not involve him in this for if he does, he will risk losing his job as supervisor there. Manager, looked like a fellow harley driver if it helps waffle house find out who he is. This was embarrassing by this establishment to condone behavior of the server this way and to be doped up with a bad attitude on the job! Forgive me for saying ty sir, for I am an old guy and only raised old school to show respect at all times unless being disrespected! Was embarrassing and I will be contacting an attorney on monday to see about how to proceed with video and/or lawsuit! Sorry if you want to be called mam, then maybe make it little more convincing than talking and dressing like a man and don't forget had unshaved faced that looks like not shaved is face for 2-3 days! As you know after 2-3 days you got a really good shadow at the very least! I demand that waffle house remembers who pays to keep lights on and employees by having customers! Customers should be treated with respect and give them at least a decent dining experience even if it is a waffle house does not mean we need to be ghetto and unruly employees with no respect and boundaries in regards to customers. When did customers have to start begging for food and doing what is told by the server? Do we get tips and services if we do? This needs to be addressed asap!

Waffle House Thorn Rd, Lake Charles, [protected]@ 6/21/22, 9:15 pm

I placed my order and watched as the manager/ cook processed (cooked) one order, a hamburger, only one hamburger, and then after 15-minutes of waiting, my waiter called my order. I asked the waiter why he was just then calling my order. The cook snidely said, "he calls them (the orders) out,” as soon I; can cook them”. There was a very small number of customers in the restaurant, and apparently only one customer before me, as this cook had to cook the one hamburger BEFORE he could start my order, as we had words, I asked to speak to the manager, and he confessed/ revealed himself as "the manager” and invited me to “take my waffle and leave”. I am disappointed that a cook that is only capable of cooking one meal at time, should be elevated to the level of Manager. I left at the “cook/ manager’s” insistence.

This is the first bad experience that I’ve had at a Waffle House since ya’ll have moved into my neighborhood. I think that Waffle House may want to rethink this “Manager’s” position,

Waffle House Service at Clairmont and 85

I went to the location at clairmont and I85. I was getting it to go and you have a waiter he said his name was Perk. I know you have cameras so you can see. I went in at about 7:40 or so for a to order to go. I was with a friend the server came up on the phone and would not get his pad to take my order I had 4 meals and wanted him to write it down and refused. He kept being on his phone and would not put it down for nothing. He was rude and I left because of him. The cook did nothing to help. Waffle House Customer service, false advertising, discrimination, phone system, customer dissatisfaction, misconduct, unavailable or out of stock poor service

Need to make a complaint about waffle house in BreauxBridge Louisiana. On April 23 I called and called to place a order no one answered like always.

So I went there tried to get a workers attention so I can place a order with her in person are even ask them to answer my call when I seen one worker she replied when we're not busy and walked back inside. Well I'm still sitting in my car for the next 30 min r so I called back no answer. So as a customer was walking in I asked her to tell the workers to answer the phone so I can place a order. Mind u I can't walk my feet were swollen.

I have a lot of complacations with my feet. Anyways they finally answered took my order down and I told them the situation about why I couldn't get down I'm needed curbside service since they do offer that at this particular location. I told her I needed her to come get the money from me to pay for my order she said ok but real hesitant. Well still never came nor did my food.

Then he comes the cook to smoke outside. I asked him about my order and he replied o that was u who ordered I said well yeah. He said to me they can't take orders if I can't get down and I said well I tried over the phone y'all do crubside and he said he cannot take my order. Then before I spoke to the cook.

A couple was walking to go inside I stopped her and asked if she could place my order she said of coarse. I wrote it down and gave her the money. Here she comes back with the paper I wrote my order on and my money and said they told her they would not take that order. She said don't no but I guess your money isn't good e sad so sad.

I told her my situation why I couldn't get down and go inside myself she's like wow I never like the workers here they are rude and very unlikeable. So I stayed awhile longer waiting around calling there phone no answer it would just ring and ring. So I decided to go home well my sister n law ended up coming to my house and I sent her back over there.

She said when she came back. She told the manager that was there about what happened and she was supposedly pissed about her workers and the cook not taking my order.

User's recommendation: Don't ever go to BreauxBridge waffle house.

Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated this has been going on

Waffle House A manager Micheal manager of waffle house on Watson and Houston lake road.

There was an employee that was told to mop with a broken mop handle because she is the shortest employee there. She is racist and I would see for her to be gone. The employees that was mopping is amber and she is a great employee. She is the nicest person you could ever meet. But don't mind my voice and language... But Micheal is the raciest [censored]. She is about to lose two customers.

Waffle House food and customer service complaint

Went to dine at the waffle house on North Monroe, Tallahassee Fl. (05/25/2022) We ordered a meal with bacon. We had to send the bacon back three times and the bacon came back burnt each time. I didn't get my waffle until i was done eating. At this time, we are very frustrated. I ask that the manager come over to the table to speak with us and she refused and said call cooperate. Are you serious right now! Excuse me do what?

Desired outcome: Because of how she handled the situation, I would like for the store manager to be reprimanded. She did not and would not apologize.

Waffle House Breakfast

Yesterday, (5-23), I went to unit 412 - 2264 Cheshire Bridge Rd Atlanta.

\I ordered an old fashion Fiesta omelet - light pepper. When the server brought the food, I did not recognize it as what I had ordered, the server said the cook was new.

I sent it back and I believe I was pun ished for doing so.

Some thirty minutes after finishing my meal, I began to have serious G I problems.

My stomach became distended, It felt as though my stomach was not working.

I began to have substantial burping and later substantial flatulence.

I was not able to eat, only had a bowl of soup around 6pm., again followed by extended belly. Then had trouble burping, ended up patting my stomach as though I was a baby, to try and relieve the extended belly.

This continued through the nigh.

This morning I was only able to eat half a piece of toast, again followed by extended belly etc. etc..

At the time of writing I am still experience the symptoms.

Waffle House The “Cook”

To Whom it may concern,

My husband and I stopped at a Waffle House near our home at about 4:30pm

On May 19,2022. It was :

There was one other customer in the place besides us. The Waitress was very nice, the cook came out fixed our food, which was good, then he went into the back. The waitress was putting supplies away, the cook was belittling her from the back. He should have been helping her at Doing something like maybe cleaning the place, it was filthy. He was in my opinion he was lazy and inappropriate to behave that way in front of customers or not.

His wrecked car was also parked in the customer parking lot.

The entire thing was disgusting.

Waffle House Customers turned away

Wh in zebulon, nc seems to be in a downward spiral… I am a regular who has seen multiple times 2/3 of the dining room closed and roped off to prevent use, with 6 staff on duty… when asked, they always say they are training… but watching them shows a different story… frequently, potential customers leave without getting a table since only 3 booths are open and 4 are closed and all counter seats closed off…

On the evening of april 15th about 8 p.M. They actually stopped all new potential customers from coming in stating they had no prep and will not be able to fill orders for an hour or so… I kid you not, I watched at least 25 or more customers at different times stopped and was turned around as they came in the store… I was glad I already was seated in 1 of the 3 booths and already had my order…

On the evening of april 26th, they wouldn’t let anyone in unless they ordered online and took it with them… my group went to mcdonald’s…

This is a corporate store that is on its way to complete failure… the reputation alone for these issues will see to it… how sad, since this town strongly supports decent restaurants with lines around the building… but also this town has so many subdivisions being built and sold out that the population will be tripling or more over the next couple of years…

Hey wh corporate, save your store before it is too late… the business is here and you guys are messing up….

Waffle House Terrible service

On Thursday, April 7, 2022, I went to to the Waffle House #867 on Fieldstown Rd. in Gardendale Al. I entered and a black male employee sweeping the floor directed me to a table. As soon as I sat down a black female employee told me I couldn't sit there. The BM asked her why, but she never answered. I told them that I would just get my order to go and walked to the register. There was a white female employee washing dishes and the BF told her to take my order. She advised the BF that she was washing dishes and that she should take my order. The BM Again asked the BF why I couldn't sit at the table and the BF female began to argue with the BM and WF employees. I turned and walked out. I then went eat elsewhere.

On April 11, 2022, I went to the Waffle House #1443. There was a Hispanic male sitting with a menu and an employee cleaning the grill. He never acknowledge anyone there and after 4 minutes of waiting, I left and went store #867. I walked in and a white male walked in behind me. I sat down and then he sat down. A BM employee was sitting and eating and a BF employee was sitting at the bar going over receipts. The BM said, "she'll be right with you.'" The WF employee behind the counter went to the WM who came in after me and began conversation (Seemed to be a regular), took his order. She walked in front of me and said, "I'll be with you in a minute." she then began to cook his food. I decided to wait five minutes, but after being ignored, I again walked out and went to eat else where. If the restaurants were busy I would understand, but there were few customers each time. This is frustrating. I understand that it's not Ruth's Chris, but customers still require decent service. I seem to to be getting none at the Waffle House.

Desired outcome: Yes, an apology would be nice, but I would really like to see your corporation invest in customer service training for the current employees. In most Waffle House's I go to the people are friendly and often funny.
