wachovia bank /trust deptwill not give me my money

i am a 90 year old woman. my brother passed in august 28 2009. he left me money and allowed wachovia trust in haddon township new jersey to invest it and disburse it. however erin harrigan from the trust dept of wachovia in toms river new jersey comes up with a new excuse every other week, why, she can not release the money my brother left me. my sons tried to reason with her however she stopped responding. my son hired an attorney for me. i find it hard to believe i must hire an attorney to get the money my brother left me. my attorney said NEVER give a big bank all three roles in probating an estate. our attorney says a lot of banks want to drag out the process for 1 to 2 years to run up the fees. my son believes erin harrigan lied to him when he questioned why the charged 4350 dollars to probate 87, 000 dollars.
