Vueling Airlines complaint acknowledgement and resolution

I submitted a complaint regarding my flight VY1240 to Alicante on 16 July 2019. It's been over three months and have heard nothing from you not even confirmation that my complaint is being investigated. I fly with your airline to Alicante at least six times a year and have done for years. As a loyal customer I would have thought as a matter of courtesy I'd have received a reply. Vueling Airlines theft of my luggage by vueling

I flew Vueling Florence to Luton last Tuesday. The pilot decided, after the plane was fully boarded, to offload 27 suitcases without telling any of the passengers. We waited at the baggage carousel in vain, were eventually sent to the baggage liaison who had us fill out contact forms and assured us that our luggage was not lost, it was sitting in a secured area at the Florence airport and would be flown out (to Garrick for some reason rather than Luton) the next day in the afternoon. The bags would be sent on from there promptly to our permanent addresses we identified on the form, regardless of how far away that was. This was little confirm to me as I was flying out the following morning home to the States and had a great concern about the theft of a valuable LV bag passing through so many hands. We were later emailed a reference number to pot in the bag tracker so we could follow the progress. I am now five days out from the incident and the tracker is still saying it is"finding" my bag, a bag that was supposedly never lost. I have emailed Vueling with no response. When I call the number of the company that handles their baggage screeners ups. It rings endlessly. When I call the department of Vueling that handles list bags (option 4), it tells me to say if my bag was lost, left on the plane. etc. When I say lost, it tells me again to say if I lost it. I say it again. Then the recording thanks me and hangs up. When I try to call
a different department and ask them to transfer, I am rudely told that they won't, and to press option 4! I am enraged and st my wits end!

Vueling Airlines baggage department + lost and found services

My traveling backpack never showed up on the carousel at my final destination... I was travelling from Montreal to Milano. I am moving from Canada to Europe and brought with me the bare minimum, but still the most valuable things to me. Roughly speaking I put my life inside 1 bag. I called the airline every day after the bag was lost for a week and always received different information from the company's agents on the phone...so I was very confused. One time I was told there was a tag match in Paris Orly airport where I had a transfer, then the next day I was told there was no such information on my file and that they did not understand how I had received such information... More the 1 agent saw the match... After 14 days, I asked to talk to the superviser of the company but she only spoke Spanish! Luckily my friend spoke spanish. He said she was very rude on the phone and just stated the obvious that the bag was still lost... I am living high up in the alps and am depending on a friends generosity for clothing etc. I had no way of buying new things and have no bills for proof of my bags worth which amounts easily to 2000$. Being a student this means a lot... My bag is very particular so I gave a full outside and inside description of the luggage...but still nothing... Even if tag was ripped they should be able to identify it. They don't seem to have any search methods for bags that might have been untagged on the way...I am very unimpressed with the service of this airline.

Thats terrible... Their system lacks proper methods to deal with these kind of situations. It's pretty unbelievable. Seems like they just have personnel behind their computers...no one is on the grounds! Sorry to hear about your belongings!

From BCN to DUS Airport VY1898 there was an advice that baggage has fo be unloaded?
Now it is under loss with the P.I.R
DUSVY10366 with the status of searching?
Sorry unbelievable.
Nobody is in charge, nobody in transport can be reached.

This is not normal, if Vueling has to unload.
It is not that baggage has been sent a wrong destination.
It has been unloaded in Barcelona and where it is now?
I wait for your answer

Left my purse on the plane flying from Birmimgham to Barcelona on 18/05/2019. I reported it and had an email to say they had found it and to send another email with my bank details to a different email address to have my cash returned. 4 months and numerous emails and calls later, getting nowhere with zero response to most, I still have not had my money returned. This pretty much amounts to theft. Will never fly with Veuling again. Appalling!

Vueling Airlines name change, b87dyy

The whom it may concern

I made a booking for my parents for 14th of September to 19th to September through Vueling because normally I really like your company and the staff is very nice! Unfortunately my mother told me only after 24h that her name in the Italian passport is her birth last name (Aversa) and not the name from my father (Ambrosio) . Yesterday I did the name change and had to pay more than the double amount than I paid my tickets ( please find attached). I had a misunderstanding with the girl on the line because I did not understand that I had to pay all this money ( 463 Euros additional!) but at the end I did not want to make problems to her and said it‘s ok. I think it is really frustrating because it was only the my mother‘s last name and in addition AMBROSIO is on her ID as you can see, but only on the 7th line. Everyone can see on the ID that she belongs to Emilio Ambrosio and that they are married.
Please double check this case because it is really not fair!

Vueling Airlines luggage lost

Good Morning,
On Tuesday, July 16th, my husband and I were about to board the plane (VY1503 from Paris, Orly to Florence) with our hand luggage but since we were one of the last people to board there was no longer any overhead bin space. The airline made us check our luggage at the gate. Once we reached our destination, our bag was no where to be found. We went to claim our luggage at the lost and found in Florence. They seem to not be able to track it. I had very important items in the luggage and that is why it was packed in my carry-on. We traveled all the way from the USA to go to my best friends wedding and my bridesmaid dress was in the bag. I followed up two days later and there was still no sign of the bag. I had to get a brand new bridesmaid dress and my bank card that I was traveling with was ONE of the many important items in that bag along with medication that needs to be taken daily. I never wanted to check the bag but the airline insisted. I am disappointed in the way it was handled. They eventually found the luggage but days later and the airline said I would be compensated for this. I never heard from them and even made a claim and it is obvious they did not read my claim because the response had nothing do with my email.

This meant that I had to borrow money from others. I was had extreme anxiety over this whole thing. My bank card was missing, I had to get a brand new dress. I had limited funds. The medication that was taken daily, there were withdrawal symptoms.

They said they were going to compensate me on this matter.

I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply to this email address.

Vueling Airlines Bag issue in barcelona bnc airport

Dear Sir,
Yesterday I had a flight from Palma to Barcelona and the flight delayed from Palma almost 40 Min and the bag also delayed, I wait more than 30 min near the belt number 3 and I did not find my bag, I ask the team there and I told them that I have another flight to Qatar with Qatar Airways and already I'm late because of the delay in Palma flight and I have to move because they will close the gate & they told me you can go the company will send you the bag to your country.

Today morning i contact the airline which i booked and they did not a response to my request, please advise if there is any way to receive my bag, even with paid service if you have.

It's not my fault and i need your assist on that, even if i pay money for cargo to receive the bag

On the 29 May 2019 I was booked on flight VY 2470 from Nuremberg to Barcelona, due to fly at 14:40 to attend a work event. There were a number of adidas colleagues I was travelling with. I did try to check-in the night before the flight, however the on-line app wouldn't let me allocate a seat and I assumed that this was due to the fact my flight departure time was less than 24 hours away. In hindsight it was is clearly because it was overbooked.Despite the airline issuing
this boarding pass just ahead of the flight, it has no seat number. The check in desk attendant warned me at this stage that the flight was over booked, but recommended I still proceed to check in incase of no shows. Subsequently I wasn't allowed on the flight, due to overbooking along with 3 others. There is no vueling counter at the Nuremberg airport so it was quite difficult to resolve the situation from the beginning. Airport staff offered to fly me to munich stay overnight and fly the next day from there. I found an alternative flight with Lufthansa that I booked as it was a similar price as my original flight booking with Vueling and i could then go home and fly the following day from an airport close to home. I did this as i was assured by the airport staff I would be reimbursed I just need to log via vueling online...This was 2 months ago and i have been on email chains and calls to try and resolve ever since. I have now been told "company has complied at all times with our Conditions of Carriage and the current European air travel regulation.

We regret not being able to honor your request since it was not proven that you were involved in an overbooking event."

I don't understand how this could be legal, it was overbooked and it's for them to prove otherwise. I have a boarding pass with no seat, a new booking receipt and confirmation as well time stamped messages from colleagues on the plane discussing how flight was overbooked. Please see attached. I am owed a refund for the overbooking and the loss of time.

Vueling Airlines check in vy1240 16/7/19

I was booked to fly from Cardiff to Alicante but unforeseen problems meant the journey to Airport meant my journey took 4hours instead of 2hours 30 minutes . Roads into Cardiff closed because of a protest .I contacted airport explaining my predicament and they said they would try to help. However when I arrived at airport the Check in desk was closed. I asked at customer services to check if anything had been done following my phone call but eventually told couldn't board. Flight was not due to leave for another 30 minutes. I travel frequently on this flight which is 10.40 flight VY1241 which doesn't even arrive at Cardiff until after 12. By the time passengers and luggage taken off and plane cleaned boarding doesn't start until after 12.30 . Cardiff airport is small so it only takes 5-10 minutes to get from check in to gate so I'm sure I could have got to gate without affection departure. I was able to fly next day but while booking customer services had problem getting price as 50 euros being displayed but told I had to pay full price 125 Euros . As I had already paid surely should have only paid a transfer fee! As a result of refusal to board had to catch 2 buses and a train to get home and then a taxi train and bus to come back next day. This stress and hassle could have been avoided if only someone had used some compassion and taken into consideration the fact I had tried to get to airport on time but circumstances beyond my control made me late.
Would I have been allowed to board if I had checked in on line? Apart from losing a day of my holiday I incurred extra expenses which could have been avoided. I travel six times a year to Alicante but no effect was made to help on this occasion so I paid twice for the same flight . Can any refund be made as a gesture of good will?

Vueling Airlines bad experience / refund

To whom it may concern,

As a travel agency, we Bourgi Travel, would like to bring to your attention an important issue that one of our valuable customers had faced during her fly from Beirut to Barcelona through Vueling Airlines (Flight number C8LC9F). Prof CARINA MEHANNA who is a frequent Vueling passenger, faced some problems during her flight to Barcelona, which made her experience during the flight terrible.

Our client Prof Mehanna was surprised once she reached her seat in Business class, and found that the seat was 2A instead of first row, in a terrible condition and inappropriate for sitting on, instead of giving her the seat she reserved and paid for, they left her on the 2A seat knowing that she had a bad medical condition and a severe backache. In addition to that she paid for food, and didn't receive her meal.

Also, on her way back she reserved again a seat in the first row but the reservation took place in the third row. Bourgi Travel contacted Vueling Airlines in Lebanon who assumed that there were no available places even though there were five available places online on Sunday July 14, and three places on Monday July 15. We then fixed this error by reserving online and paying a penalty since the Vueling agency didn't cooperate.

Prof Mehanna also reserved in Miro Lounge in Barcelona but was surprised to find that there is no reservation in the lounge. She was so disappointed and had a very bad experience.

Knowing that she paid huge amounts of money to be comfortable during her flight to Barcelona, her trip wasn't pleasant at all.

Since our clients are what make us exist, please take our client's experience into consideration.

Vueling Airlines compensation for delayed luggage

I have received a payment from Vueling to the value of $76.56 AUD, following a request for compensation for delayed luggage.

I have not received an email stating what this payment was for. Furthermore, I believe this is significantly less than the amount I produced in receipts (139.04). And I do not believe this amount has included compensation for being without our bags for 5 days and the stress this caused us during our holiday to 2 different destinations. I also request a refund for the extra I paid to check in 2 bags onto our flight from Barcelona to San Sebastian on 5th June, flight number VY2486. As a result of our baggage being missing, we did not check on any baggage onto this flight.

I had already explained this all in my previous emails to Vueling to which there has been no response or explanation.

Vueling Airlines changed date of my flight

In December 2018 I purchased a trip with Vueling for myself and family: my booking code is GI4KSH and got a confirmation of my trip for July 9th (2019) from AMS to MXP (Amsterdam to Milan Malpensa).
April 30th 2019 they sent me a notice that the flight would leave 5 minutes earlier.
June 12th 2019 I tried to print my trip to take along to the airport and the Vueling site requested me to confirm the change of flight 5 minutes earlier or request a refund. When I confirmed my flight the new screen on the computer showed that my flight was confirmed for July 8th.
I have an international connection on July 9th and by no means was asked to confirm a schedule other than July 9th.
I immediately sent an e-mail to Vueling but only got an automated answer that I should wait for a reply
Considering it is tourist season and less than 30 days from my trip and that Vueling has not answered my mail after 48h I ended buying another ticket for July 9th from another airline.
I did not request any change to my flight schedule and would like a refund to my credit card.

Vueling Airlines staff check in

Flight VY 7460 whilst checking in the two ladies at the check in desk. (My friend has photos of both of them) were not letting me check in my bag because they were upset at my friend. He stood in the wrong line and when he mentioned that we were going to miss our flight the lady told him to get back in line even though the people allowed us to go in front. He told them this and they both started to get upset and call everyone who was flying to Barcelona except us. I told her that I need to check in my bag and she said no .. you are nice but your friend isn't and out loud started to call the other passengers. My flight was at 7:05am and at 644am she decided to take my bag. Not acceptable and bad behavior from both of your employees. They need training on service... who is there training manager ? If you don't have one you should get one. Madrid - Barcelona

The man checking passports aggressively grabbed my passport from my hand since I was apparently too slow at grabbing it. This is for flight VY7820 Barcelona to LGW.

The two men checking boarding passes were rude. Not my first complaint as Vueling Airlines seems to have the worst customer service. I have better customer service at the Burger King in Barcelona airport...

Vueling Airlines flight

on the 18/05/19 i traveled from London to Rome with my family, on the flight VY6231
The staff at the airport were really unfriendly.They stressed me out for no reason.
So i was traveling with my husband and 11 months old baby. So we passed the check in with no problem, but before we go into the plane that lady who check our ticket decided we do not provide enough documents for our trip.She said we have to wait on aside while she was trying to call her calling . I told okay no problem, but by low we have all the right to travel.So we were waiting for more then 15 min and all passengers were on board already.Then another lady said she has to take our bag coz there is no more room in the plane( i am traveling priority, with a baby and all baby food must be in my hand luggage, this is the company rule).My husband ask her but why, its not our mistake they are the one who kept us outside for so long.Then the lady told my husband its very rude and we are not traveling (9:00 pm with a baby, we had plan our holiday, paid our ticket with return, paid for a hotel and she is telling me we are not traveling). So she close the doors and said we are not traveling, if we wonna travel my husband has to apologize. It was so stressful to me, i have to beg my husband to apologize for what he was right so we can travel, bcoz i couldnt just stay at the airport with a baby, bcoz of the staff. Instead helping us coz we are traveling with a baby, we were treated in a very bad way .

Vueling Airlines baggage lost /delay - urgent

Our baggage has been lost by Vueling from Florence to Palermo on 15/5/19 on the 2:05pm flight from Florence, flight number FGQT8K. It has now been 24 hrs with no update, no email and no phone call from Vueling. We have no clothes or toiletries or phone chargers. The website for lost baggage tracking has NOT got our correct contact details recorded! . I have rung the call centre twice to ask them to amend the details and it is still showing incorrect.

Vueling Airlines flight rearrangement with no prior notice or consultation

Booking code:: B9HY9P . As you will see by this code we recently booked a return flight with your airline to Vienna, this was a early surprise birthday present for my girlfriend to see a concert and meet up with friends. Flying out was no problem even though my original flight time was altered we had plenty of prior notice. However coming home was a different issue, we were booked to return on Tuesday the 7th at 16.20hrs. so had planned to meet our friends the evening before for a meal and drinks knowing we had no worries of a early start the next morning and could take everything easy and relaxed. On the afternoon of Monday the 6th we decided to check in on line and to our horror discovered that we had been re-booked onto a earlier flight with no prior warning or confirmation to fly at 7.05 am ! this totally disrupted our plans for the evening which we had to cancel with our friends along with the plans we had for the Tuesday morning ! also we had a taxi booked to collect us which we could not contact to alter and had to arrange a taxi through the hotel at a cost of €40 . We find this action by your company totally unprofessional and unacceptable causing a great deal of upset and distress to both myself but more importantly to my girlfriend feeling it had spoilt her surprise weekend. Please investigate this matter urgently and suggest and forward a solution to resolve this stressful incident. Regards Raymond Leng .

Vueling Airlines allocation of children seats

On the 30st of April I travelled with my child on the flight VY6224 from Rome to London. The day before the departure I started the online check in but I stopped when I saw that my daughter was allocated a seat few rows far from me. We travel a lot and never happened to me to be allocated a seat far from my child.
I thought it was a mistake. I called the Vueling costumer service and I was told I had to pay to choose my seats, I insisted that it was a basic right for a child to seat close to a parent but to no avail. I then paid 16 euros to seat close to my daughter.
I would like to make a formal complain about this issue and to invite your company to respect the rules of the Civil Aviation Authority that states:
Young children and infants who are accompanied by adults should ideally be seated in the same seat row as the adult. Where this is not possible, children should be separated by no more than one seat row from accompanying adults. This is because the speed of an emergency evacuation may be affected by adults trying to reach their children.
I will try my best to take the issue further.

Vueling Airlines not booked on paid for flight, appalling customer service.

Charged 91€ on 22nd January through PayPal for a flight from Barcelona to Manchester 23-24th March. Told not booked on flight and had to rebook and pay again with another, better, company at twice the price (171€) Countless emails, where I provided both PayPal statement as pdf and bank statements, while they continue to lie, claiming a different payment amount was declined, but providing no evidence of this, and no named contact person or title, no phone number, no direct email address. They ignore requests for proper contact details, their code of contact and customer service procedure. They charge a euro a minute (premium rate) to call their customer service line where there are just slow automated messages to identify your reference letters and no possibility to speak to an operator. Beyond unprofessional and possibly illegal. Absolute clowns.

Vueling Airlines delayed luggage

To whom this may concern,

I am writing to you regarding this awful incident where I was without my luggage for three days. I left Florence Friday the 25th to arrive at Gatwick, to find my luggage was not on the same flight as me. This caused immense stress and inconvenience. To add to this the confusion from your staff not knowing if it was in this country or still in Florence. I was without my belongings and toiletries for three days. I had to leave work early on the Sunday the 27th to receive my luggage. This situation has been an absolute nightmare. I would like some gesture of good will, from all the stress and inconvenience this matter has caused me. If this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction I will be taking this matter further.

Vueling Airlines flight delay

i have booked a ticket from LGW to SSH
LGW/FCO/SAW on 21/12/2018 & the 1st flight was delayed for 3 hours & i have missed the connection & when i asked for another flight to reach my destination in both (Vueling & Pegasues disks) they have both refused & asked me to collect money from other passengers to buy a new ticket! both disks refused to offer a hotel room nor a meal as i could only book a ticket on the 2nd day, i need to refund the ticket as it was useless for me to stay in Rome while my destination is SSH, no body cared regardless my young age & all the other circumstances.
kindly refund me the ticket value or a ticket from the same destination to the same destination to use within the next 7 months
