Courtesy Clark chandler is a courtesy clerk at 2614 in Las Vegas not sure his Last name he's rude disrespectful almost ran into me with the shopping carts threatening me I have told management 1 million times to fire him thank done nothing I need you to take it into your hands and fire him immediately do not ask any questions just tell him there's been a lot of complaints filed against him and he needs to be terminated as of immediately please respond back to me [protected]@outlook.com

Vons customer service, employee treatment, illegal drug sales in the parking lot, health code violations, employees working off the clock

I have been a shopper at this location for years, well no more. The Starbucks kiosk has a new manager by the name of Kathy, in one 5 minute period I watched her commit 8 health code violations, my work involes saftey and sanitation, something she knows nothing about. she constantly yells and is rude to customers, slow as can be, I have waited up to 15 minutes for one drink, and most of the time they are made wrong, on several occasions I have seen more than one customer complain about them only to have her have to remake a drink. one week there was a sign up, it listed all the items that they were out of and drinks that could not be made because of it. another time I went in for a grande drink, I was told they were out of grande sized drink cups...just who is doing the ordering here? Most of the time I hear the employees page her to come to the front, she leaves them alone with no help while she sits in back for hours.
I have seen drug deals at this store, on the side of the store, where the trash dumpsters are; normally you would think well we can't controll the public, no, try these are Vons employees, in uniform and on duty, taking trash out or getting carts, and then buying drugs from people in broad daylight.
I have listened to employees in different departments in the store complain that they had to work OFF the clock. so scheduled til 9, clock out and then work another hour off the clock cleaning? I told the person that was there that if they had a union they should call, that is an illegal practice. This girl looked at me and said I know but ALL the departments do it; her friend told me that he had had to work through breaks and off the clock on so many occasions that it wasn't even worth complaiming about. Well it is and I am. Not only will I not shop at any of the stores owned by Vons or affiliated, (your prices are way too high anyhow, but I will actually drive another 2 miles down the road to shop), but my friends and family have aggreed, you dont care enough about the people who work for you or the customers who shop there to make it a safe environment. It makes me sick that all these young kids working there are being treated like garbage, they work too hard, its a shame.

Vons vons signature cafe salad tuna premium and vons classic potato salad.

On October 16, 2019 I did some shopping at Vons Market from the deli department. when I got home, I made a tuna sandwich after which I had a bowel movement which consisted of a small amount of diarrhea. My grandson came home from school and made himself a tuna sandwich, he too complained of a strange bowel movement. 2 hours later we both had potato salad. later we both had excruciating pains in our stomach both were nauseous, both had constant diarrhea and vomiting, this went on all night until early morning. I then made a quality decision to go to Cedar Sinai Hospital. we were checked out and it was determined we had food poisoning. we were given medication to help stop nausea and stomach pain. It was suggested that we drink plenty of fluids. I called Vons market where I purchased the food and suggested that they may consider removing both tuna and potato salad. I did report it to the health department. My intent is not to sue, but would asked that the corporate office would consider the fact that a 10 year old child and myself got very sick because of what we digest it into our system.

Vons they didn't give me the right amount in my card.

I went in to Vons and I bought a Visa debit card. I bought 30 dollars and gave them 36 for the additional fees. I went home and i tried buying something online worth of 20 dollars. It got declined. I called the number on my card to check my balance and it says I only had 10 dollars left. I want my full money in my card. You can contact me at [protected]

Vons customer service

I have been a member of vons for years. Never have experienced and issue regarding customer service, until today.
I am completely and utterly disgusted.
This woman, working as a cashier, gave me the worst customer service ever given. After "swiping" everything and getting the total, my card swiped. With her not saying anything, she stared and looked at me blankly giving attitude. Apparently when I swiped, my card had declined and she continued to sit there not saying a word and just look at me like i'm an idiot. I proceeded saying I swiped, she rudely replied saying it was declined in front of everyone. I replied saying "you could have said that instead of looking at me in disgust" she proceed by saying she was trying to be "discreet" and the way she said that and the faces she made were absolutely disgusting. I am horrified. I proceeded by saying the attitude was not necessary, she could have simply said something rather than starting confrontation. She proceeded to say nasty things. I will not stand nor put up with this.

Vons truck driver

9/30/19 @ 4:16 p.m. Vons truck driver cut us off almost causing us to rear end him on southbound hwy. 71 just before Valley Blvd. We were in the right lane behind the Vons truck and we moved over to the left lane to pass and he moved over to the left lane in front of us, no signal just a sudden cut just a couple feet in front of us, causing us to slam the brakes and move as far to the left off the road as possible to avoid a collision.
This guy really has a problem and could have injured or killed me, my wife, and my son (who was driving). We all felt he did this on purpose due to the 2 lanes merging about 1/3rd of a mile ahead of us which I'm sure he could see sitting up high. But there was absolutely NO reason for him to move from the right to the left lane, they merge up ahead and there was PLENTY of time. I'm looking into filing a police report on this as soon as I sort through my dash cam video to show them.

Vons expired food

Everytime I go shopping at this store i always have expired food . I have brought the food back and they replace only that item and don't even receive an apology. This is getting out of control and I go here all the time cause I love the store but it seems like I'm wasting money now . I would like something to be done for this inconvenience that keeps happening and also my family has been sick twice and I want able to return food as we already are it and they did nothing for me this is ridiculous . Please contact me so we can get something handled. Thank you .

Vons employee

Visiting this store I noticed an apparent supervisor by the name of Kevin make very rude and homophobic jokes about customers leaving the store I find this sort of behavior completely unacceptable of someone in the the customer service industry and just want to bring this to the attention of the company so they may take necessary action for this isn't the first time I have seen this happen he does it many times in any given day

Vons your customer service

Dear Vons, An incident occurred Last Friday, September 20th, at your Girard Ave. location here in La Jolla. I spoke to your Customer Service Representative requesting to purchase a discounted inflatable pool toy. It had been reduced, and I called and asked her to put it on hold and I wanted to purchase it . She told she she could not accept payment over the phone, so I said I would be down to the store in half an hour. A mere 20 minutes later, I approached her with my credit card in hand. "Christina" flat out told me she had just sold it to another customer. She had another employee deflating it for someone else. Her attitude was so egregious, and extremely rude in making her statement. My friend and I asked her how could she have sold this when we she was clearly told I wanted it and had my credit card # to provide to her. This "flamingo" was not a life or death purchase, but I really wanted it for the grand kids who were visiting from PA . Your employee was not only rude, she offered no apology whatsoever. Nothing along the line like "Im sorry" maybe I can call around to the other stores etc. I dont think you necessarily want to place an employee in your H.R. department who has very poor social skills and who frankly reflects poorly on a corporate business . Vons the bagger at vons, erika sherman

This worker named Erika Sherman in store number 2094, has been harrasing my boyfriend and I, trying to stir up drama in the workplace and being emotionally manipulative. As well as touching my boyfriends thigh. This has been happening now for a while. Possibly about 2-3 months. No matter how much we tell her to stop, she does not stop and the co workers there at the store know she does this as well. We have tried to report it before but I don't think they've done anything.

Vons ready snax

I purchased 3 ready snax packs on Wednesday, one expired the day before (which I should have caught) 1 expires 9/15/19 yet the grapes were already rotten.
The third one expires 9/18/19 fruit is already rotten already. I lost my receipt so can not get reimbursed. This is awful Vons is expensive as it is, and when food has to be thrown away is even worse.

Vons overcharged

I went to the ximeno store to buy a flavor of talenti gelato not carried at my regular store, (downtown on Broadway). On my app, I had 2 deals. A special price of 4.19 & a mobile coupon of 1.50. The store only honored the 4.19. I then went to the downtown store and they honored both. How does something like this happen in a major supermarket chain?

Vons bakery

My recent trip to Vons to pick up bread or corn bread I was completely disgusted. The corn bread is completely moldy. Every single one. There is no way someone couldn't notice the mold. This store is truly unbelievable. No one takes accountability and the store has continued to decline. We then proceeded to tell the manager who appeared to question at first but then proceeded to problem solve. This store needs a serious upgrade and some serious support from the corporate office who should actually focus on areas of needed improvement. Very disappointed and hesitant to buy anything perishable in this store in the future.

Vons unethical behaviour

Hello to whom it concerns: first of all my name is benjamin I have 35 years of experience of working with the public as well as presidents.. Vp's ceo's area mangers supervisors so on and so forth... Being in the auto industry as a financial director.. I started at the bottom and worked my way to the top of the department and have opened up dealerships from ground level... My last job was ten years... But semi retired now just doing consulting... I have a positive attitude towards the people I come in contact with and treat them with respect... Unfortunately today I had a terrible experience and was treated rudely... If it happened to me.. How many others? I went to von's on the 27th of aug to do some shopping tried to get two whole chickens that were priced for.88@lb... Didn't have any... Got a rain check.. Today 09/29/2019 @ I went in to pick up the chicken for the weekend... Got to the check out put my items on conveyer with the two chickens... Cashier was george he started ringing up my items when he got to the chicken's... I told him I have a rain check from 09/27/2019 and they are.88 lb... That's when I was miss treated... He rang up all my items without the chicken and demanded payment? I asked are you going to ring up the chicken? He said"I would have to go back to the meat dept. And have them re-weight and put another sticker on it".. I said can you just punch in the weight and charge the appropriate price? He said no" I said this is a big inconvenience for me the consumer... I said i'll wait here have the bag person run back there... He said oh you are going to be rude and not let this person behind go thru... I was in the middle of the transaction...? What happens when you need a price check or the milk carton is leaking or some goods are damaged with the consumer not knowing... The cashier notices and sends a runner to replace... And everyone has to wait a few min. Just like traffic... That's a valued employee and good customer satisfaction but george insisted that I paid for the items so his line would check moving... And when the runner comes up with the chicken I could get back in line.. I said that's not right and very inconvenient.. I guess i'll call the corp. Office and complain about the service... Then he started yelling at me saying it's my fault he can't ring them... I was never told I had to have the meat dept. Re issue a rain check sticker so he could scan it... So all my items are on the counter trying to bag my items as he is ringing up the customer behind me... Then the bag boy returns with the chickens... He finished the transaction on the customer behind me as my items we still in the bagging area because I only had one bag and wanted the chickens on the bottom... I said thanks to the bag boy and this service i'm getting is terrible, george say I refuse to ring up the chicken go to another line and have someone else do it... Very un professional! So that's what I did as well as explained the situation to the asst. Director... Nice lady no power.. I mentioned he needs to be suspended for his unethical behavior... Give him some time off to reflect on how to treat customers with respect and common courtesy not like it is an inconvenience for him... Bottom line very bad for george he took the problem personal.. And number two he didn't know how to ring up the chickens manually... There is a way he needs to be trained or showed how to do that! And take a few customer relation classes... If he knew how to ring up the chickens... None of the bs would have happened I wouldn't have got my blood pressure up and wasted time... I do expect an apology... Or I guess I could go to albertsons which is a mile away up the street on rancho california... But why should I have to.. Just wish the experience was better... Vons poor customer service

Today i tried to call customer service and no answer for 30 minutes, so i decided to drive down there to find out if Western Union is working. I stood in line for about 20 minutes after other people got their money, then i was told i she might not have enough $ for me to pick up $500. Nobody bothered to ask if i could be helped prior to this. After i asked who was in charge of customer service, it was the lady named Jackie who i was waiting in line to see at the vustomer service desk. When i asked her why nobody was answering the phone for 30 min, she contradicted me and asked other workers to rebutt me, which Sweden... not a socialist success... https://youtu.be/1i9FQ834yFc is simply being dishonest. After i expressed frustration she finally scraped together $500, but at the end tried to count the $ very fast so i cld not see how much she gave me. I then had to ask her to count it out again and place it on the counter where i cld see it as she was counting. She acted perterbed by that and very loudly told me to "have a nice day" as if she was angry with me.

Vons service at the butcher department and deli

I am a resident of the Belmont shore area and consistently every time I come to the location on ocean which is right next to my home it's very frustrating. The meat dept me typically is closing everyday around 630 and 7 when last I checked the time is supposed to be 8pm. It's becoming increasingly frustrating that every single time I get there the place its closed or they are breaking things down and cleaning up. We are being told by your associates that the department is closed . In addition the service and professionalism of your staff is horrible. I went to purchase sliced cheese from your deli one time and had to wait for someone to come which was over 15 mins and when the lady got there she rolled her eyes at me and had horrible attitude towards me so I opted not purchase anything and leave . Now I prefer to go to Gelson‘s, whole foods or Ralphs which is further and out the way because at least I know with the service-level is that I'm going to get..

Vons store set up

I have been a shopping at my local Vons store since 1991. Just recently, the store was "remodeled " which appears to be "rearranging ". In this new arrangement, the gluten free products are now mixed in with the regular products. Less products are available and difficult to locate. If you're going to separate by culture, why not continue gluten free? I'm considering switching my loyalty to the Ralph's across the street.

Vons front end cashier maria

Date 8/20/19 I went through the line of Maria at store 2692, I was not greeted nor acknowledged till the end of my order. She was too busy talking to another associate. Working at a grocery store myself I know that customer service is number one! I am very saddened how Vons went down the drain. It's unfortunate that this store is the one nearest me, however, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Time for your checkers to go back to school for customer service!
