Vons cut foot

Yesterday evening I was at vons in tierrasanta, ca located on tierrasanta Blvd I believe. I had my hands full with flowers in a vase, my wallet, and 5 jars of glass jarred baby food. I was walking toward the checkout and dropped a jar. It hit the ground and shattered. The manager forgot his name happened to be standing outside of check stand 4. He immediately got on his walkie talkie and turned over to the cashier asking her to call for a clean up. He stood over the spill and I said I'm so sorry I will pay for it still. He said just go ahead and get in line. Not once did he ask if I was ok, or if I needed a napkin for the baby food on my feet/legs. I continued to checkout he never said a word to me. I then went over to the Starbucks to get frappuccinos as I was waiting the bottom of my big toe burned when I put weight on it. I walked to my car and my husband says let me look at it. I had a shared of glad under my big toe then he noticed I was bleeding on my other foot between my big toe and smaller toe. He then found more glass between my toes he pulled out. Wiped it up with a baby wipe and wiped my sandal, leg, and foot as well because of the baby food and glass i was afraid to get into my skin. He put 2 bandaid on and we went on with our day. The point of my complaint is the manager nor anyone else around never asked if I was ok, never looked at me, never offered a napkin to clean it up. Obviously didnt see the blood either. It wasn't much but I had glass in both my feet. I just hope the next customer gets better customer service if they get hurt. I was so upset how rude and non sympathetic he or any of the staff were.

Vons service

Hi there-

Over the years, I have worked in customer service various times and some of the most important habits I developed was to always make eye contact, smile, greet your customers
and always try to make their day just a little better by talking to them. Today, I had lunch near your Store on Coffee and Hageman in Bakersfield. Normally I go home for
lunch and then bring an afternoon snack with me back to work. Since I didn't go home, I thought I would go in our store and purchase something. I have been avoiding carbs and sugar
so I grabbed some sugar free cookies and heading to the express lane. Your wonderful checker, young GABE not only didn't make eye contact with me, he never smiled, never said hi and
then had the adacity to pull out his cell phone and read a text. Didn't offer a bag, didn't say anything and handed me my receipt. I walked away thinking "wow". So here I am
letting you know. You cannot make changes or make improvements if you are not aware of them but I am pretty sure I am not the only who this happened to. If people cannot
properly perform a task, especially in customer service, then they have no business doing it. My rant is over. I hope this email is taken into consideration when you do your
quarterlymonthly evaluations and/or future training. It's rude and embarrassing for your company.

Vons poor store management

So I was in this store last Thursday and I was looking for a certain item. This is a vons on lindero canyon In Thousand Oaks. Anyways the service I got was very rude and uncaring and the store manager Lewis was very unhelpful and rude as well. I will never shop at this vons again! This is a vons 2215 and they only seem to care about themselves very unprofessional business

Vons checkers

The check out ladies were impatient, tired, and I have had numerous instances where they shut off their light and went to lunch.
They refused to check me out after someone had asked me if I could go in front of them. This Vons need to fire their employees and get new ones. Everyone is rude, insolent and extremely terrible at their job.
I will not be going to this Vons ever again thanks to their lack of empathy on repeated occasions! Awful!

Vons check cashing service down for 4 months

Hello, my name is Matthew J. McClure, I'm 34 and I do not have a bank account. In fact, I look like someone who doesn't have a bank account. The employees at BOA suggested I try your check cashing service after discovering I only had a temporary Driver's license.

Before I could even see if this would be a problem for VONS the clerk at the service desk informed me that due to computer issues the store was not cashing checks, which has caused me some upset. You see, I'm not sure if it was the computer or if it was me, or rather the employee discriminating against me. Thank you for taking he time to reguard my complaint.

Vons customer service is worthless!!

Called customer service on numerous occasions and was placed on hold for 10 minutes, still was unable to talk to a customer service representative and eventually hung up. Was trying to go online to use grocery deliver service. You have now lost my business for online shopping and we spend about $250.00 a month. Von's must lose a great deal of money and customers regularly.

Vons delivery items

This is the second time that I have been delivered Lactaid milk that is a week outdated. Can't seem to get anyone to answer the customer support telephone!
My last delivery was on June 14, 2019. The order #4024400.Route [protected].
Also, Von's must think "bigger is better" since everything is huge. The melon I received was big enough for 10 people, and we are only a couple!

Vons almond breeze refrigerated milk

I purchased 2 different cartons of Almond Breeze Milk and they are curdled. The first carton I purchased I opened the next day and found it very difficult to open, the seal had swollen inside the opening because of the spoiled milk. I returned the milk and bought a new one. Opened it tonight and the same exact problem. The outside of all the cartons show a bit of damage as well, leading me to believe the whole shipment is spoiled. Please warn your customers or remove it from the shelves until you can replace it with fresh milk.

Vons the cashier I had

Hello, i went to my local Vons#2047 and i was there at 7:50pm yesterday June 13, 2019. I was buying a carton of eggs and 2 packs of turkey sausage. My Cashier was actually a supervisor named Greg. He has horrible customer service. He never greeted me, a threw the receipt at me. I have been doing Customer Service for over 15 years. Hes awful. He needs retraining. This wasnt the first time, this was my 5th encounter. I tried to be somewhat understanding, but he pushed me. I will tell everyone i know never to go there, unless he gets a better attitude.

Vons service

Very deplessed with the Victorville, CA Vons. Came in at 6:50 pm and waited for 10 minutes before someone came to help me, I was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Daniel who was not knowledgeable in the bakery department, so I ask for the manager a gal by the name Jennifer whom seems to be in a rush to help me and all I wanted was a petite cake that was in the glass case she stated if it was not In the glass case it was sold and the bakery department went home at 7 which obviously was not the truth, because I waited 10 minutes of my time for someone to come help me. The costumer service was terrible by this manager she offer to have me look into the cake book but was not trying to help and come up with a resolution. She told me sorry and she could have someone call me tomorrow, but need the cake right now! Vons at one time was a good place to shop, I guess that has changed. Very sad again with the costumer service by this manager.

Vons store manager warren

I came in the store and the manager Warren harassed me . I have a service dog because I suffer from anxiety and he started asking random questions. He said is he your pet I answered yes he said you can't have him in here he's not allowed. I answered him he's my service animal. He said no you just said he's your pet and he's not allowed kicking me out . I told him obviously he's my pet he's an animal and he's also my service dog. He continued to be rude and started asking questions what kind of service does he provide? In front of everyone! How embarrassing! my anxiety kicked in high and I started shaking I almost had a panic attack! I've seen this manager be rude to multiple customers I've been shopping at this Vons for years m It's not fair to hire a manager as rude as Warren please move him to another location I don't want to come back here if he's here .

Vons very rude cashier

I am calling about an incident at store 1672 at 14:18 on 06/05/19. I picked up some turkey from right behind the SALE sign. Of course it rang up wrong. When I asked the cashier why this was she replied quite nastily I had "bought the wrong turkey".

I told her I had just picked it up right behind the SALE sign but she refused to cooperate. Apparently this turkey had been put in the wrong spot but they were all like that, i.e. misplaced. It was not my fault.

But the clerk was nasty - making verbal comments and faces, doing nothing to correct the situation. I had to get another Vons worker to get the "right" turkey and argue with this cashier to be refunded.

I have been shopping at the Camarillo VONS for 15 years now and this was the rudest cashier I ever met. Her name is HA. I will shop there no more.

Vons gift cards purchased that were already used

I am a regular Von's patron to the Anaheim, Ca location off of Lincoln Avenue. On 11/21/2018 I went in and used my Von's Rewards card to purchase 12 gift cards as Christmas gifts for my children and family. On 1/10/2019 my daughters attempted to go to the Ulta Store in Orange, CA to use their cards and were told there was no money on the cards. I then went into your store location and spoke to the manager on site and she directed me to contact 1-800-898-4027 which is the Von's payment Services and was then instructed to contact Ulta regarding why there was no mo money on the cards that Von's deposited the money to them directly. On 1/21/2019, & 2/7/2019 I was finally able to explain my issue with a manager and was told that when the cards were sold to me the money was immediately used online somewhere in a Massachusetts location. I am located in California and since these were Christmas gifts there was no way my daughters would have been able to use them until after December 25th when they were given to them. Ulta told me to go back to Von's and speak to a manager to see if they would pull the cameras to verify if possible the employee: Katrin who checked me out didn't happen to write down the card information and use them as she has seen this happen before especially around the holidays. I then went daily from 4/24-5/8/2019 for two weeks to try and reach Liann the Von's manager on site. Liann finally took copies of all of my information and assured that she would send to corporate to see if there was anything Von's could do to refund me or possible compensate me back with a Von's card in the amount of my loss and get back to me by May 8th. I went in today 06/05/2019 and the new manager Moises is stating he has no idea what I am talking about and that Liann is no longer at this location. I would like a call back or a response as to what happended on my account as I feel 4 months trying to resolve this is ridiculous. The amount I am looking to get refunded is for 2 $50 Ulta gift cards or at least a $100 Von's voucher as Liann had promised me initialy. I will no longer be purchasing any gift cards from your company due to this and if you look at my rewards history I spend several hundreds of dollars at your store. My rewards phone number is [protected]. Please resolve this issue for me immediately.

Vons baggers

I shoppe at the Nipomo Von's frequenlty, as many times before i have found my Eggs in with cans on top of my Eggs, boxed stuff on top of my Eggs, and today found them on there side next to icecream . I found the assistant MGR and complained to him about the egg issue and all he did was grin and didn't show much interest in what i was saying. I told him that i worked at Publix in FLorida for many years, and they trained us on what to and not put in the saME BAGS! aND EGGS WHERE TO BE BAGGED ALONE! He said he has worked for Vons for 35 years and said he has bagged eggs many way! I find his attitude to me very uncaring and uninterested in anything i had to say! They need to do training for Baggers on how to bag, until that time i will be bagging my own stuff next time!

Vons meat department

No one was available at the meat department. I waited for a full five minutes. Finally someone showed up. When I asked him why there had been no one there, he said the other guy must have been on break, and then yelled at me, asking if I didn't know how busy they were, and how much work they had to do, and saying they couldn't just stand there all day waiting for customers.

When I went to the service desk to complain about this, no one was there either; four people were waiting. When I asked someone who came around to call someone, a young woman appeared and yelled at me, saying she was very busy and could do only one thing at a time. When I finally got a chance to talk to her, she seemed very uninterested. She claimed that Vons had no procedure for customer complaints, no email or phone or form. She promised unconvincingly to convey my complaint to the manager. When I asked how I could be sure that my complaint was handled and reported, she threw a pad of paper at me and asked me to hand-write the nature of my complaint.

There is something very wrong at this store. Perhaps they are understaffed. Everyone is rude. They made me feel like they would rather I wasn't there. Their wish just might come true.

This was at the store in Redondo Beach on Inglewood.

Vons delivery service missing items 2nd time in a row

items were missing from my order, called customer svc who tried to contact driver to see if items were on truck. Driver could not be reached, so I was told to call back in 30 minutes. Called back and was told that I could get refund for missing items. Since they did not total $20, they could not re-deliver unless I placed an order totalling $35 or more, and I would still have to pay service fee of $3.95 plus delivery fee. I had several bags of items missing from my last order, but they were delivered two hours later. I am physically unable to go to the store and rely on delivery. The people I spoke with were professional, but VONS policy about not taking responsibilty to rectify their errors will cause me to take by business elsewhere.

Vons customer service

Store # 2012 Cashier Lara

I have been shopping at this Vons in La Jolla for a while now . Today I was more than dissatisfied with the service I received. The cashier Lara was extremely rude for absolutely no reason . The cashier Lara started gossiping with another employee while I was standing there trying to purchase my groceries . She appeared very unhappy and it was showing as a result of her treatment towards each customer.

Vons supervisor customer service

We been shopping at this Vons for over 15 years. My husband went in to Vons yesterday came out pissed off. My husband was speaking to someone about me because they asked. While in the middle of purchasing one of two purchases, the new supervisor that is there named Richard made a rude like sigh as if my husband was wasting his time he was disrespectful and I will call corporate for this. May of 2019.
On a side note there were only 2 customers behind him. So there's no excuses for this! My husband is always kind to everyone.

Vons non existence of delivery service at the lake isabella store

I feel that the Company being Vons Safeway would benefit hugely if the delivery service was offered at the Lake Isabella location, my elderly mother asde from other numerous elders live in that city, which once was a beautiful resort town above Bakersfield Ca, I know I would at the least be purchasing weekly thru that type of service, please write me back in regards to this matter amd ladvise me on how to go about implementing this much needed service, as they offer it at all other locations, thank you for your time and consideration, CL

Vons racial profiling and attacked by staff

If I can rate this experience a -0 I definitely would. I was profiled, singled out because I was black, verbally and physically attacked by one mgr and staff member on a routine visit to vons. I guess you can't go grocery shopping, being black, dressed completely down, with a scarf on your head. I guess I looked like I didn't belong, maybe perceived as a welfare recipient on cash aid so I must not be able to afford anything here, maybe that's the reason I was humiliated, disrespected, demeaned, attacked, had my "paid" for bags snatched out my baskets and then from my hands twice for no reason at all but shopping while black and not up to their expectations of dress code.. Here's what happened. I shopped, paid for my goods, approached starbucks and seen an empty basket and used it due to an injury on my shoulder.

Upon leaving the store, the basket stalled and wheels locked. I immediately got the attention of the last cashier happen to be a mgr, asked for her to unlock the wheels so I can proceed out the door, she saw me, she helped more customers so I waited, line accumulated at the door. I share with the folks in back of me and signal for mgt again to get help with basket, I needed it and was having a hard time carrying groceries, mgr finally walks over after a few min. I was thinking great now I can take my basket to the car. Instead, mgr walks up to me, looks me up and down from head to toe, looks at my basket, and I say the "basket stopped" I need you to fix it, instead she says "where did you come from"? Obviously, extremely puzzled why she's asking me this, I said "what do you mean", she said in a more "authoritative" voice and very accusatory. I was definitely confused as to why i'm being interrogated and treated this was! I mean I simply "flagged her for help"! Then asked me did I come from starbucks etc. Now i'm thinking what's wrong with this picture, why is she asking me these questions, I just asked for help why am I being interrogated and being made to feel as if i've done something wrong. So I finally say I came from a register down there then she says which one then I say i'm not really sure which number but what does it really matter I am trying to take my groceries to the car? She then looks at me and then looks at the basket and snatches my bag out of the basket her and I get into a tug-of-war over "my paid" merchandise that she tried to take from meand then take out of my hand. As this is occurring I was able to take the bag back from her. I stated "what are you doing, this is my paid merchandise get your hands off of me get your hands off of my things, why are you attacking me? As I make that comment with the bag in my hand next thing you know someone else comes up from behind me and snatches the bag back out of my hand, jerking and pulling on the bag hurting my shoulder. As i'm trying to take a hold of my bag, and I become attacked and vons causing additional injury to my shoulder. Once I snatch my bag back from the second person I turn around and I started yelling at her with my finger and I said keep your hands off of me. I was so pissed because I just left kaiser from getting to injections in my shoulder for an injury, currently on modified duty because i'm not really able to drive.
I told them keep your hands off my merchandise, what the hell do you think you guys are doing? At this particular moment i'm still frozen in time, I can't even believe that this happened. I was so afraid that the situation is going to get out of hand and the police is going to be called for me defending myself. This could've been a tragic outcome if I wasn't in the headspace I was in and basically didn't physically defend myself.? Far too often in situations like this where"employees"overstep their boundaries and create this situation and customer reacts the burden of proof is on that individual and people become hurt or killed by the police for things like this escalating!

I'm thankful to god for the injury because it saved things from getting out of hand.. My question to vons where's your mgt and staffs's responsibility to deescalate? Are they taught to physically pith their hands on customers or call security? And then security's job is to observe and report, what the hell happened here?

So I was definitely profiled (incorrectly) and not to mention I have a paid receipt. Why do I have to even show a receipt in the beginning because what was the reason for approaching me in that manner is my question...
What was the reason for attacking me and trying to steal my merchandise when I paid for it. I mean why are they being fired and held accountable for stealing my paid merchandise? Dosen't it work both ways? I can't get over it, what was the reason for attacking me in that moment when i've done nothing wrong but I asked for some help.

Please be where you cannot be black, where a scarf, with some flip-flops going to vons in the middle of the day and pay for groceries without having to be a black thief who steals, looks like they're on the county collecting ebt, or on welfare. Basically I look like I did not belong in the store and that's the reason I got treated that way. Now let me share with you that I frequent at that vons and i've seen other people get stuck trying to go out the door and i've never seen them being profiled, disrespected, attacked, humiliated, or even stop to ask about a receipt.

Why did I have to be put in a situation, definitely because i'm black? Thank god my arm was injured and I didn't have the opportunity to naturally react with this lady attacking me from behind. That could've turned into an even more of a physical altercation and who would've been going to jail until they were able to prove; so the burden of proof would've been on me for two people who work for store who attacked, profiled, and humiliated me for no reason. I'm not sure about vons employee handbook but I don't think there's a section that says"take matters into your own hand physically " when dealing with customers.
I'm sure they shouldn't be attacking employees even if there was an indication of theft (please understand not the case, please see the video) which in this case the girl had no reason to think that because I was not on anybody's radar. There was no situation with security etc, it was me shopping while black. It was also me dressed down while black.

I was profiled of being a welfare recipient, cash aid recipient, an ebt recipient instead of being profiled for an educated black woman with one bachelors degree and two masters degree. But instead I have to prove myself, my innocence, become attacked, and have my bags taken from me. Somebody please help me understand this and i'm supposed to just get over it I don't think so. Vons you cannot allow your employees to profile, disrespect, demean, humiliate, and assault your customers. I'm sorry that I was shopping while black. Please believe if I was a little old white lady going out the door they would've never ever been a question of this person's character, who they are, if they're legit, anything but because I was black with a scarf on my head and some flip-flops I was made out to be a thief. I was profiled, attacked, assaulted, and humiliated please beware do not go to vons while black. #shoppingwhileblack #vons
