Vons Butcher often not available.

I often have to leave the store emptyhanded as the butcher did not show up for work, is at lunch or on a break. The featured sale items are not stocked on the shelves and when he leaves for an extended period around 6 pm there is nobody to help. This relates to the store at 17380 Sunset, Pacific Palisades, Ca. Oftentimes the Friday special when it includes wine is hard to find or sold out. The lines are long around 6pm without opening a new register to remedy the situation.

Desired outcome: Do not hide the sale items. Keep the sheves stocked when you have a featured item. Have a butcher on duty.

Vons Transferring prescriptions

A week ago I contacted my new Pharmacy to have my disabled wife's medications transferred. I went to pick up the prescriptions from the new Pharmacy my health insurance insisted on, and nothing was transferred. Vons didn't transfer anything, and no longer than normal return calls, I know they are busy but what happened to the customer service we made pharmacies rich for?. I have spent 3 days between Two companies, Vons not issuing or acknowledging their phone recipients and not transferring valuable life stabilizing medication information to CVS. CVS also busy, not able to wait the long terms hold times to connect with someone
I understand how busy they are but get it together Vons, I'm not paying the vons corporation for their more expensive drugs! I'm tired of the little man paying the over paid CEOs etc. Transfer my wive's medications before it's too late. There will be consequences if this isn't resolved!

Vons Sephora Gift cards

I bought Two 500.00 gift cards from Different stores on 11/03. one on 30th in San Diego and one on Adams. I paid 500.00 cash each. when I went to redeem, they say they are not loaded. I go back to Vons and they say contact Sephora Sephora says contact lack hawk the who is responsible for the transaction. I contact Black hawk and they say to contact VONs. I contact Vons and Vons says Black Hawk is not there vendor. And they have no responsibility. I gave Vons 500.00 each. and did not get a product.

Vons No customer service whatsoever. My cashier was Jeff. From Vons, 12961 W. Chapman Ave. Garden Grove, CA 92640......

I was not greeted as a customer should. Jeff did not say a word when ringing up my order with only a few items. I wasn't going to complain, at first I thought maybe it was just me, but I noticed that he didn't greet the next customer either. Maybe Jeff was having a bad day, maybe Jeff didn't want to be in the checkstand. I have no idea, but a customer should at least be greeted. Thank you. I hope Jeff can be retrained.

Vons The service at 5500 Woodruff Lakewood California

The service at 5500 Woodruff Lakewood California when I asked for a wine box because I purchased several large bottles of sparkling water, which I have done hundreds of times in the past and gotten wine boxes with no problems ( I usually bring them back at this time I forgot) I got an attitude from the register girl and I've literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars at the store this year alone she has the nerve to tell me well we might start charging for them soon with attitude and I was like OK do I look like I can't afford a wine box lol. Literally it did not even come out of her paycheck I should've received the wine box no problem when you start charging let me know and I'll pay when I forget mine. No need for the attitude I'm seriously considering shopping somewhere else like Ralph's.

Desired outcome: I didn’t get the girls name because I was so mad/ annoyed a wine box is an issue. all of the staff at Vons on Lakewood should be reminded about customer service

Vons Store manager Carlos 09/20/21 19:10 Store 2012 7788 Regents Road, LA JOLLA CA

Rude, disrespectful and dismissive to Caucasian, African-American and Asian customer.
19:05 to 19:10 I have come to express line 6 small items and one can of beer. He, Carlos the leader, requested that I wait in line for self check out. I did. When I come to be the first in line he start waiving arms and he requested me to repeat line? I was shocked. It was open aggressive approach I newer had before. I am UCSD research associate shopping in this Vons for two decades. This behavior from staff is becoming normal lately in this store. Please take a look at security cameras, it will tell the story. One think I still do not understand: when I said "please stop talking to me, Carlos shouting at me repeatedly" if I not like I can leave" this is next level of aggravating the situation. Vons Products

You probably won't due anything, . It seems every time I go to you Vons on Wilshire and 14th you never have anything stocked. It's almost 11 I went to get Greek humus and cut watermelon and the area was completely empty. When I asked they said it wasn't stocked yet, it's almost noon! What kind of answer is that. I also went to get your brand of popcorn and you guessed it not stocked. You never have your cooked organic chicken either.

I would think your manager would do a survey of what's needed.
Now I know why I like pavilions on Montana they are so much more organized .

Vons Cherry tomatoes

None of your cherry tomatoes are refrigerated and left out in the open. Couldn't find a single package that looked healthy, ended up buying one with hopes, but at the bottom it was completely split open green and moldy. Please refrigerate your cherry tomatoes.

Vons Refund for cans and plastic bottles at Murphy Canyon store

Safeway/Vons needs to teach customer service! I went in during the daytime after work and after spending over $160 in groceries and was told that there was as on one older bagger who worked in the morning who could redeem my cans and bottles! Even though I had them all counted (I know how to count!) I am a teacher. I just complained. I can't tell you how many times I have had problems at this store. Last time no one could tell me the price of a cheese that rang up at 9.89 for a few ounces and it took a half-hour for them to take it off my order because the person in charge said they had to scan the item after I got tired of waiting for the clerk to return. I had explained to the courtesy clerk exactly where it was located. I read the ounces and the signs (I worked for Vons many years ago when they cared about the customer). I was a checker for 16 years and the customer was always right in those days. I was also a bookkeeper, in charge of the store at night, and a customer service rep when they had those! I only shop there because it is close by. I am going to try to go elsewhere! I'm have never heard such nonsense! I already called, but this should be public!

Vons Being over charged., and supervisor being a jerk, mean, on purpose.

On 9/2/21 I was over charged $70. This is not the first time as it has happened many times. I went back to store on same day and talked to supervisor (Dustin) who was in the back office. I explained to him that everything I had marked on my receipt had rung up wrong and that most of it was the Fab 5. He never even looked at the receipt and said I would have to walk and show someone what I had bought and the price it should have. I told him I was tired, and that my leg was hurting me he said well you can use the wheel chair. I said I don't have the time to go threw everything (that it was a lot, 25 items) and that last time something like this happened Joanna just took the newspaper with the Fab 5 ADVERTISED items and fixed my $50 problem last time. So, he had me walk with (Nick) some kid that bags, I asked him if he understood how the Fab 5 works and he said yes. I started with the lean cuisine and showed him the receipt so he could see I wasn't getting the Fab 5 price only the sale price. He said Well did you buy 5 items? I had bought 6. I said I don't think you know how this works and he told me I was wrong. I went back to supervisor and told him that this guy doesn't know how Fab 5 works and Nick told me I was wrong. The supervisor then said to me that I can walk with Andrew who I said OK great, he is a nice guy also a bagger. I show him the Lean cuisine and he went off on me telling me I am a crazy lady and to get a life and walked away and went behind counter and they called me names again with the supervisor... The supervisor Dustin would not come out from behind the counter to walk with me and told me he needed to see each item. This is crazy. He's telling me I need to go home and get everything I bought and bring it back in? I am now freaking out as this is ridiculous. I go home and circle every Fab 5 in the paper I bought, match it to the receipt and went back to store. I said to Dustin that I was going to try to explain the issue one more time. Let's match all that I bought that was on the Fab 5 to the receipt and if he would LOOK at the receipt, he would see what was wrong. He said Well he needed to see what size of everything I bought. The size is not on the receipts, but the reg/sale price is, and he could match that to the receipt. I asked him to please come and look at what I was talking about. He told me he was not allowed to come out from behind the counter I finally begged him to just come out and look at one item (Jell-O/pudding) so he came out and look at what the price is on the floor and what I paid. It should have been.99 (as it is advertised in the paper) and I paid $1.99 I bought 11. (Just on that one item I was overcharged $11.00) He says well what size did you buy. I yelled well look at the orig. price and match it up. and then he said OH. OK I will give you the Refund. Not Oh I'm so sorry or you are correct or anything like that instead he walks away from me. He is being a jerk on purpose to get me as upset as possible. Bottom line I was at this store 5 times to explain what was wrong. Today Joanna finally (who thinks her staff can do no wrong) fixed and gave me back my $70. (That I was over charged on advertised items and should have never been over charged in the first place). Along with trying to bribe me with a $25 gift card. A few months ago, the same problem happened to me for around $50. (Joanna at that time also helped me) This problem is ongoing but usually not to this amount it is usually around $20. but it is still happening, and it needs to stop. I have spent hours on this ONE shopping experience to tell them what is wrong when it's your mistake in the first place. No one should have to worry about being overcharged on their purchase. You can't see how its ringing up by item as it takes off the sale price at the end. You can't see what you are being charged on each item as its being rung up until the sale is final and you get the receipt. When you shop once a week for a family of 4+ cats and dogs. usually, I have 2 carts of stuff and I spend hundreds of dollars every week. I am not going to hold up the line once I get the receipt to check each item, I do it at home to be courteous to next customer to not hold up the line. I am (was) a good customer (I guess Vons doesn't care about how much I spend weekly and that I have been a customer there for over 20 years) For me to be called names behind my back, to be given such a run around on a mistake on your end. For me to spend hours on this whole thing again is a joke. Why does the customer have to prove the error as if I'm lying because this is how they are making me feel? no wonder I am upset.

Vons I am complain g about conduct of a store manager & employee

On September 2 2021 I entered the site located at 1201Avacado Blvd in El cajon California. Upon entering I immediately went to the bathroom & left expecting to shop. I had only gone a few yards when I was approached by the store manger & a male cashier. They told me that I nedeed to leave the store immediately, couldn't hang out in the hallway or harassass their customers. I said what are you talking about, what have I done wrong? They 're response are you with the guy in the blue shirt? As my friend Ina blue shirt exited the bathroom & joined us I said Yes. He standing right here. He look at us & said what is going on here? Again we were told to exit immediately now. Again I asked what the hell is going on? Why do we have to leave & what have I done? The chaser looks at the manager & says he rembered me from being in the store earlier I had gone thru his check out line. No problem. The manager again tells us to leave now! The only thing she said was a woman called in & was afraid to enter the store because we where in there? I said afraid of what? Me? What have I done wrong? I was embarrassed, harassed & still had no clue what they were taking about. We couldn' have been in the store no longer then 5 min tops. Had not even shopped or came in contact with anyone. It was late they were blocking are way & so we left!

Vons Vons home delivery

I am bringing to your attention the despicable way I have been treated recently. This problem started when I attempted to place a home delivery order early this month, August. I tried three times, to place the order and then I waited all day for the scheduled delivery to arrive. No one bothered to contact me to let me know when the order would show up. I had to try three times before I asked for a refund as I needed the money to buy food elsewhere. I am very poor and live on a small amount of Social Security. Thus the money I was expecting to be refunded was badly needed for food, as I do not have any more money and being old and disabled, I have no way to get more. I was told the refund would occur in 3 to 7 business days. That is a long time to go without food and necessary medicine. As you can readily imagine, I called several times; always being assured the refund was put into the computer and it would arrive anytime soon. After waiting two weeks, I called and demanded something be done. I was told the refund was put in by hand; but when I asked when I could expect the money to be in my account; I was told, once again, I would have to wait 5 to 7 more business days before the money would arrive. At this time I have no expectation I shall ever be paid back. It is clear that I am being jerked around and lied to every time. Vons has no intention of ever paying me back the money they took from my account. I have called repeatedly and always the same lie. I urge caution to anyone who wants to use Vons delivery. Know that Vons will cheat and lie to customers without the slightest concern to the consequences customers suffer. I have had to go nearly the entire month without food, while thet keep my money and refuse to return it. Be forwarned! Sister Anne McFadden.

Vons a cart attend it

I have a complaint about a worker at Vons on Bristol in Santa Ana named Christine. we were just sitting in our friends car waiting for my dad to get done with his appointment and my fiancé got out of the car to stretch for a minute and she saw my fiancé and called security and she was talking to someone else so we got ready to leave and when we starting driving we saw the person that she's talking to you get in the car and come towards us at fast speed so we had to speed quickly through the parking lot and then we saw the person got close to our friends car and almost hit us. Christine also lied to the manager and store director saying that we are harassing her and that we're not allowed in the store and she scared of us where she can't go get carts because she thinks we're gonna do something saying we've been there several times when we barely go there and she's afraid of us when we did nothing to her we never cause trouble or talk to her. when we go to the store we're shopping or getting something to drink because my dad‘s doctors is around the corner.Something needs to be done and the store director says this is a civil matter this is more than a civil matter if she has someone coming after somebody that harassment and indangerment and we are not happy something need to be done with the manager and the store Director and Christine

Vons Haagen have bars and signature water

Today: I purchased two buses if Hagen-Daza I cream bars. When I opened them they had been melted and oviously refrozen. The sticks were up in to the bar and the bar had melted and refroze and sold. 2-Von's advertised 28 bottles of Signature Water and I was sold a 24 pack I was told when I called that Von's didn't carry a 28 pack of sig water. Now, I have to take both of these items back to Von's. I think compensation of some form is in order here besides refunding my money. What is going on fir a large Company to make such a error?

Vons Meat Department

I went to my vons today in Fresno ca kings canyon and Clovis ave. I been going there for 25 years. Today the meat department almost made me trough up it was so bad. Meat was gray and shelf's where beyond dirty. If I see anything like that again I will call the health department. I did show one of the employees what was going on but I don't think they care.

Vons Covid-19 misinformation

I was at your store a month ago that is located at 4733 E Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264 as I was waiting at the checkout lane I heard a couple talking with the cashier about covid-19 being a hoax and mask mandates were horrible and the female cashier was agreeing with them. Yesterday the same man was saying the same thing & David agreed him. He also told him not to worry because he was not going to make him wear the mask. He called the mandate stupid and called the councils vote bogus that will implement this mask wearing. The man complaining about the virus being a hoax is appalling but what's much worse is your employee agreeing with him. What is your position about the pandemic? Your employees are not certified viralists nor doctors and should not be spreading lies about covid-19 and the vaccinations nor about masks.

Desired outcome: Your employees are not virulists or doctors and they should not be spreading lies about covid-19, the vaccines nor the masks. David should be reprimanded or fired. He is causes sickness with his lies

Vons I keep having recurring problems with the vons coupon app.

The purchase i made on 8/2/21 at the Vons located on Lemon ave and la puente rd which is the only Vons i use didn't add some of the coupons I clipped from the app. It is a bug with the app because sometimes the coupons are processed and sometimes they are not even in the same purchase. I've already explained this numerous times to employees and to online customer service. This purchase didn't add about $3.00 in savings and I want a rebate

Vons Fruit, opened items, moldy cheese

I've gone to the Vons in Arcadia on ultioke occasions and have been extremely disappointed. I have lived in Arcadia for over 20 years, and did not have any issues with Pavillions, which used to be in the Vons location.

I purchased about 5 peaches and the same day I cut them open for my kids to eat, they were all rotten inside. See pictures below.

I purchased grated Parmesan cheese. I opened it the same evening, and found that there was mold in the cheese.

I purchase a bag of hostess donuts, and when I got home, the bag ended up being open and partially eaten.

I also purchased a coffee cake from the bakery, and it was stale and not fresh.

The above is just so disappointing. I want a refund on all the items listed above. I have the receipt for everything except the cheese because that was purchased on a separate occasion. Please contact me to provide a refund. [protected]@gmail.com.

Vons Deli service employee

Date of incident: 7/19/21. This complaint has to do with a rude deli employee at your store located at 845 College Blvd, Oceanside, Ca. My husband and I went up to the deli counter to order 2 breakfast sandwiches. At the time, there were 2 female employees behind the counter. When we came up to the counter, the employee to whom I am referring said, "It's going to be a while". My husband and I waited there for a little over 5 minutes, then left. We did some other shopping and when we went to the check out, I told the cashier that one of their deli employees told us they were too busy to wait on us. She in turn told the manager, who questioned us about what happened. It turns out the employee's name was Carrie (I don't know her last name). The manager said this was unacceptable behavior, and asked us to follow her back to the deli. We did so, and when we got there, the manager began to speak to Carrie. After only a few seconds, Carrie began to argue with the manager, telling her that she just told us it would be a "few minutes". I contradicted her, telling her that that is not what she said, she in fact told us that "it would be a while", which is quite different from a few minutes. Carrie then continued to argue with the manager, saying she was busy making 8 sandwiches. She was extremely rude, and continued to be so and argue with the manager. The manager did everything she could to remedy the situation, including having another employee make us the sandwiches. My complaint is not with the manager, it is about this rude employee named Carrie who in my opinion does not belong in a customer service position of ANY kind. She obviously realized she messed up and tried to cover her tracks by lying about what she did.

I can not give any social media contact information, as I am not on social media.

Desired outcome: Carrie needs to be reprimanded and receive proper customer service training. Absent that, she needs to lose her job. Unless of course it's OK with Vons to have someone like that represent your store.
