Vodacom unable to get a new contract

Good day

I am a loyal customer of Vodacom and have a excellent credit rating score. I went to MyVodacom store in Greenstone to get a new contract for an ipad. When my details were captured I was told that the system declined me. The person phone to get a reason and he was told the my credit rating is the problem. I know what my credit rating is and I requested a better answer. A number was given to me and when I phoned to ask I was told that it is not my credit rating but the fact that I have to many lines with Vodacom.
Please advise how can a contract be withhold from a paying customer that is years with your company.

Vodacom bad service delivery

So Lets start by saying I have been with Vodacom for years and years, apart from upgrading and having to either pay in or reduce my call time to get any of the latest phones which other providers don't do I don't understand how Vodacom intends to look after there customers. so I upgraded in 2017 May, couldn't get a Samsung S9 so I settled for the S8, sim card took 4 days to activate after receiving another sim card, dropped my phone a month later, rear screen cracked at the bottom, phone worked for over a year like that, suddenly the phone went off one morning after using it and placing it down to attend to a customer. I took the phone in to Vodacom New Market, they said it happens as a result of software, R250 and it will be okay, I booked in the phone and got a R9000 Quote for the rear cover only to sort out the phone, Vodacom then told me they cant do the software without changing the cover. I declined the quote and was told my warranty with Samsung has been taken away, I still get charged every month for insurance that doesn't exist, I then after a 6 month hold took my phone to a cell repair shop and they replaced the pc board (not water damaged but faulty) for a mere R1800, saying I should not have paid as this was not a user fault but a manufacturing fault, either way I paid and phone is working, so how does my S8 being quoted a rear cover to fix the phone and then unable to repair, get fixed by small shop for a small amount and Vodacom did not pick up that the pc board that was faulty or my fault, after they stated that the phone was opened and not repairable upon collection. i will be cancelling my contract this year April and rather move over to Telkom or Cell C, thanks for years of bad service and un trust .

Vodacom terrible service

I wrote this review last week and Vodacom said a agent will contact me till to date no 1 has contacted me maybe I'm not a valuable customer or my query is not important. I don't know.

Terrible service
Vodacom the worst service ever, I have an account with them they debit my account on the first and if the first is on a weekend they debit it the following Monday, I applied for a new contract it was declined because "they " say my account is in arreas and I know it was not because it was going to be debited the same day so now with this error I have been calling their call centre sending emails no1 knows how to resolve this issue they have been asking for documents payslip, bank statement and all I have sent they said they will send them to their acquisition department but the acquisition department and they are not helping, and I'm not getting the contract I have to wait for 60 days VODACOM YOUR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE I want to cancel my contract.

I reported this matter to Hellopeter and this is their response and they never called.

Vodacom insurance

I opened up a contract in May 2019 and took out device insurance. I recently dropped my phone and went to Vodacom cresta and was told that they did not capture my insurance document and that I would need to back pay to have my device fixed. This is really unacceptable. I am paying for a device that I cannot use. I fulfilled my part as a customer by completing the documentation and submitting it on the day. Vodacom sales department

The sales agent offered me a service - fibre to the home and quoted me two packages, different installers.
I accepted the one package for two units within one complex.
10 days later I had to call Vodacom to find out what was happening with the order.
Oh no sorry we dont have that service provider in that complex. !
the sales person did not know their job and wasted 10 days of the order time.
We had to place the order all over again. In the meantime, the modems had been delivered to Ram Couriers who could not deliver as they did not call before delivery and there was no one to accept parcel.
We changed the delivery address and still no delivery, but vodacom did manage to come through in time to get fibre installed through service provider. But no good as now we dont have modems to make the connection. !

Vodacom online upgrade

Good day,

I upgraded online with Vodacom on the 28th of January 2020 on my contract number [protected]

Today 05 February 2020, I still have not received my parcel (Phone upgrade)

I have spent much time on the phone. RAM says the phone is at the Vodacom warehouse in Midrand, and Vodacom says the phone is with RAM, it needs to be delivered

I am very disappointed in the poor service. No one can actually tell me when I am going to receive to the phone, which I am currently paying for, but don't even have.

Vodacom contract

I am a loyal customer, and have more than 3 contracts with you. I canceled one of my newly taken out contracts within 7 days of delivery, and I have been billed for it ever since. I have been trying to resolve this since December, and they are just not getting to the bottom it. I'm kind of fed up now. I took the contract out in September, and until now nothing has been resolved. The courier guy came to collect the laptop, so its not my problem, yet I'm the one paying the price! Ridiculous.. This is intolerable.

Vodacom contract sim swap

I happened to visit home as we were having a funeral, during the course it happens that my phone didn, t power and exchange sim with my sister, she mistakenly took my sim which was on her phone and went with it. I contacted vodacom to do a sim swap and I was told I should go to a vodashop since it is a contract which I understood. I have been to vodashops at maponya and evaton malls for 5 times now without being assisted, and I am being told of the fraud alert which appears, and told the fraud alert are not answering their phones. my number is [protected]

Vodacom porting

On the 28/11/2019 I signed documents for 2 Telkom numbers to be ported to Vodacom, on the 5/12/2019 I received another document which was signed by Trecy of Vodacom Bluff which is fraudelant and Vodacom is asking for donor numbers, they did received Telkom statements, and again they asked for the port form, what the hell is happening with in Vodacom are they incompitent to do their jobs.
We are customers with Vodacom since 1896 was always happy with them but no more
I got the LTE 28/11/2019 but still no porting so why must I pay for the LTE and the Voip is not done

Vodacom complain about the poor service and incompetent workers

a lady at vodacom phoned my husband on 23 January 2020 around 11. my husband told her to call me and talk to me about the upgrade on his phone. she phoned me 23 January 2020 11:31.
i told the lady i do not want to upgrade the contract on that specific number if i want to upgrade i will go to vodacom self she can keep it as is but i would like to cancel the 2 wifi's and gave her the numbers. as i understand she canceled the wifi's and left my husbands contract as is. she said she will e-mail the package to us and we did not get anything as yet. on 31 January the morning i tried to phone people from work and could not phone the phone tells me there is no airtime. my husband phoned vodacom on 082135. he could not get hold of them. he took off from work went to vodacom in springs mall they told me to phone 082135 i phoned again and this time i could get hold of them. the lady told me the current number was upgraded to a topup 150 but if i want to go back to the plan i was on i need to go to a vodacom shop as soon as possible and upgrade or cancel the contract and take a new one the vodacom shop in springs mall was ofline i got home and phone vodacom again i found out by the lady i talked to the lady who did the upgrade on the phone she upgraded all the contracts and i found out her name and she is from the rewards department. i told the lady i need this phone to be corrected cause i need the phone the lady told me she can't do anything i need to wait 3-5 working days and then they are able to take my contract back to where it was there is someone going to listen to the calls and investigate but it can take up to 31 days. this is the poorest service i got from vodacom i am not happy at all the people that works for vodacom do what they want and now i must struggle with my phone because of someone that could not do their job properly. i also spoke to the manager she was nice enough to give me a R100 but i told her its not going to last me 1day they need to fix it now cause its not my fault some people could not do their job properly now i need to wait for them to fix it. i am fed up with vodacom people phoning me if i want something i will go to a vodacom shop and do upgrades there.

Vodacom internet

[censored] network, [censored] call centre, vodacom are thieving [censored] that dont give the services that people pay for, stealing money and data, takes forever just to try and contact a person at voda[censored]. Stealing data by giving you low internet speeds, have full signal but only get 0.6b/s, adsl lines that first came out were faster, I can get a [censored]ing pigeon to deliver better services than vodacom stealing [censored]

Vodacom service for online order

I would like to formally complain about the absolutely pathetic service that I received from Vodacom- the online contract department, the documents department, the sales department. I applied for a contract on the 20th of January and have had to phone to follow up every day since, to find out about the status. The less-than-helpful consultants advised that the application was pending. When I called on the 24th of Jan, they told me that it was still pending and they that would give me feedback by the 28th. they did no such. I had to call them on the 28th, to which they stated that they still needed a particular document- I immediately sent this doc.
When I called today (29th, Jan) they stated that i had to call other department as they were too incompetent to assist. Eventually, the consultant that I spoke to advise that the application was cancelled! No one had advised me!

Why do i, as a potential consumer, have to be following up on whether or not they are doing their jobs?! Useless!

They further took it upon themselves to refer me to ITC for no damn reason! absolutely appalling!

They have absolutely no right to do so! it is in fact illegal! I am not and have never been a vodacom customer! I do not owe them a cent! How the hell do they think they can do this and get away with it?!

Absolutely pathetic and the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE! Such incompetence is disgusting! The staff have no sense of customer service whatsoever. I work in the Marketing industry and will definitely be informing my entire network!

I want something to be done regarding the entire series of events or I will be taking my complaint further. And I want their absolutely unjustifiable referral to ITC to be retracted!

All i wanted was a simple contract! But clearly, that is too much to ask for.

Vodacom unlawful debits

Vodacom. You can't just randomly debit my account on a random date without contacting me for consent. My consented debit date is the first of each month.
Now you debited my account on the 14th for who know's what!? And now I was penalized by my bank because there was insufficient funds!

I want answers please!
I don't even know if it was for my contract or my husband's!

Someone better call me to sort this out.

Vodacom issue with claiming online voucher

With my most recent Vodacom upgrade, I was informed that I would also receive an online voucher. I have experienced nothing but issues when attempting to redeem this. I have contacted the online queries department and have received communication that my ticket/ issue has been resolved. Yet I am still having the same issue.

I am only being advised to contact the same departments in circles. And am getting extremely frustrated with the entire process. I have been a loyal Vodacom customer for many years, and all I ask is that they deliver on the services that have been promised.

Vodacom data drain from wifi account - [protected]

(I sent this as an email but it was returned. So here goes. we do hope you answer this please?)

RE: Data Drain from Wifi Acct - [protected]

my husband keeps a close watch on our data usage, for obvious reasons. So he noted in this past month, that much of our data was being used up, more than normal. We were not too concerned as we had company staying with us, and they may well have used up some.

After they left, my husband bought 1 GIG of data just on Monday, 20th Feb, leaving us with a balance of 1.3 (approx) gigs. However, on the very next day, 21st Feb., when he checked, our balance was down to 640 MBs! And we had not even been downloading emails or surfing the web; not even Face Book!

This was not the first time this has happened. When it did the same thing (eating up data) several years ago, and we attempted to ask for assistance from Vodacom, after much communication back & forth, we were told this was due to Windows 10 Updates. But we noted from Vodacom website, that there were numerous complaints. Hence, I downgraded to Windows 7, and we both TURNED OFF - DISABLED, our Windows Updates. Since then, we have not had any problems. NOT UNTIL YESTERDAY.

My husband, Tom checked his "Detailed data usage, " which shows 711 MBs was used on the 21st Jan. HUH?! But it does not give DETAILS! And neither one of us were on our laptops (wifi connection) during that entire day!

Would you be kind enough to send us a PRINTOUT of the DETAILED USAGE of Data, from the 20th Feb to the 21st Feb, please? Then please email to both: [protected]@molinar.co.za and [protected]@molinar.co.za

Vodacom cancellation of data contract: [protected]

Dear Vodacom

Good day

My data contaract is due to expire on 28 August 2020.

I phone your call centre (135) this morning, 21 January 2020 and spoke to Vanessa to give notice of cancellation. In essence that the contract should not continue beyond 28 August 2020.
She said it is not possible for her due to the "system". Please help. I am not phoning in again! This is my notice. Thank you

Vodacom account rip off!!! vodacom

Account rip off vodacom!...
I honestly don't understand why I have to contact vodacom endlessly and still no one can provide me with decent detailed info regarding this vodacom account... Account was converted to prepaid for 6months, r800 payment was made, then r1000, and then r2740 on 13 december when the lines was converted back to contract... Now to my shock I receive another account for the amount of r2713... I mean this is ridiculous to say the least, will you keep milking customers who are already suffering from high costs in this country? How do you get to r2713 for end of january? I know exactly how much each line is supposed to be, so how do you make your sums? No vodacom you are ripping customers off and provide no explanation. Every time I phone the call centre they only say this is what the system shows... Ridiculously so... If I make my sums the monthly bill should be r1400?... Where did the rest come from?

Vodacom huawei p30 lite cellphone bundle deal

Under my knowledge as discussed with the sales consultant of Vodacom at Waterston Village, the Vodacom bundle of 1 x Huawei Pro lite + 1 free deal, that I will get R175+R65 airtime free and that I will only pay the amount of R549 of the deal, and when my airtime is finished I will need to buy airtime for my phones, because I don't want an open line, after money going off in my bank account on Saturday with an amount of R163, I went to a friend because she knows the lady that was helping me at Vodacom, and she explain that she told me for what, but she didn't. Then on the 13th January they tried to deduct another amount of R273 that was unsuccessful, I queried at the branch, she herself did not know what it was and then she logged a call, I got the SMS on my phone, but nobody phoned back, I myself called customer service on 081946, I asked why is there money being deducted from my account, they then told me that after 24hours that they will bill me the airtime of R175+R65 connection fee of R97 and R175 that was never spoken to me about.

Help would really be appreciate
