VarageSale is a virtual garage sale app that allows you to buy and sell items. It consists of groups of Members who share a geographical location or have common interests.

At VarageSale, all the transactions happen between the members and do not involve VarageSale, therefore, disputes between the sellers and buyers should be settled between them. You can notify your Community Manager about your dispute, and they might assist if possible to resolve the dispute. VarageSale may be involved in the dispute, however, only as a mediator and is in no way responsible for resolution.

Yes, there is an option to block another member. This will hide your items from them and will disable them from sending you a message. On the other hand, you will still see their items and comments on other members’ items.

There is an extensive list of prohibited items that includes, but is not limited to:

● Prescription drugs, prescription contact lenses, medical devices requiring a prescription, controlled substances, and related items inclusive of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia;
● Stolen property and property with serial number removed/altered, blacklisted items, spy equipment, or burglary tools;
● Illegal items, illegal services, or items that encourage illegal activity;
● Weapons and related items;
● Alcohol or tobacco products, vaporizing devices, hookahs, electronic cigarettes, and components;
● Any products, goods, services, or contracts that the seller does not have the legal right to sell;
● Stocks and other securities;
● Personal, confidential, or proprietary information;
● Obscene or offensive material;
● Animal breeding and stud services;
● Promoting any marketplace platform which is VarageSale’s competitor;
● Public posting of personally identifiable information;
● Counterfeits, replica, or pirated items; deceptive or fraudulent content;
● Tickets, coupons, or gift cards that have a restricted transfer;
● Lottery tickets, sweepstakes entries, slot machines, and gambling items;
● Recruiting for direct sales teams, affiliate marketing, pyramid schemes;
● Items or listings that promote, support, or support hatred toward people or otherwise demean people.

Also, keep in mind that communities can add more items to this list.
