USA Credit Unauthorized Electronic Withdrwal

On January 16, 2009 while on line I made a request for information on the 'usashoppingclub' within 20 monutes I was called from a service representative from USA credit with an offer of memebership. I informed the representative to send me the information and I was assured that my account would not be debited until I confrimed and accepted the conditions of USA Credit/usashoppingclub. Yet, my bank account was debited $109.95 alomost imediately and after I filed a dispute with my Bank on 3/11/2009 USA Credit 'tried' to debit my account again without authorization for the amount of $19.95, fortunately, the Bank did not honor the payment but I still suffered an additional retun fee of $35.00 that only can be reimbused from USA credit. So, as of 3/17/2009 USA Credit has debited my Bank account without authorization for the total amount of $144.95.

USA Credit debited $149.95 from my checking acct. I have never heard of this company before, and never game them consent to go into my checking acct. I didn't have the funds to cover so it didn't go through, but I was charged an nsf fee from my bank.

Folks, I logged a complaint here back in July, and apparently these crooks are still at it.

A poster here suggested a class action lawsuit, and I agree.

If somehow you good folks would like to get together on this, feel free to email me. These people should be stopped from bilking the unaware out of their funds.

People are told they are applying for a loan, and SOMEWHERE in illegible fine print there is a clause giving these crooks permission to debit their accounts for the very funds they are seeking to borrow.

Practises such as this should be illegal. These people mislead the public and steal from people who can barely get by as it is. They are predators.

I have received an unauthorized charge on my account today from USA Credit in the amount of $149.95. When I called my bank they said I had to sign an affidavit proving that I did not authorize these charges. I finally thought I got the number to USA Credit from this website. When I called I found out that it was a third party ACH company and apparently USA Credit has no phone number or way for the public to contact them. I was originally told from this ACH company that it would take 30 days to get my money then with a lil arguing they said 8-10 business days then they said if I DROP THE FRAUD CHARGE against them they will give it to me within 48-72 hrs. I am still waiting for the bank to get back to me but I wanted to let everyone know of the scam artist I spoke to at this apparent ACH company! The phone number I called is [protected] and they extension is 2103. Her name is Rebecca and she is completely full of ###!

I never signed up for this service.I signed up for a payday loan in which I never followed through with. They took my banking information and began drafting it for a service that I have no idea what it is.I called after realizing the charge on my statement this month.I only noticed the charge this time b/c after being slammed by another company I swept my current bank statement & noticed them. When I called to inquire what the charge was for, they explained it was for some type of service im unfamiliar w/.I then explained I didnt authorize this and to cancel & refund me.They denied to refund me and I asked for a mgr.Jaqueline Joseph then got online & immediately stated "If you wouldve paid attention to your bank statement u wouldve seen this charge since january".She was very rude.I then explained I have more than 1oo transactions monthly through this account.I work FT and have a toddler.I dont nor does any average person sweep thier bank account monthly for fraudulent activity such as this. She told me to call back when I know how to act like a lady and hung up on me.I called back 3 times & was connected back to her where she proceeded to hang up on me.I had to then go back to work.I called afterwork & Diane Kisco answered stating she was the evening mgr & denied me Human resources info, company addr or anyway I could file a complaint to some1 other than Jaqueline Jospeh & she then hung up on me.They stated they sent an email in which I confirmed. Not true. The email addr didnt belong 2 me.They didnt have my apt # attached to my addr and never sent me a copy of the confirmed email I supposedly conf b/c it was never done.

On 7/6/07 the company USA Credit debited my account $149.95 without authorization. I contacted my bank and they have started an investigation on this company. The customer service rep at my bank stated that I was not the only one that got hit with this charge, and the fraud division was working on locating how and where the errors occurred. My suggestion is not to open any emails that state you are approved for a loan up to $1,500.00 or Good or Bad credit get a debit or unsecured Visa or MasterCard. There is some link in their URL when you go to these web sites that auto connects to your banking information that you may have imputed on a previous application, Like a PAYDAY loan site, that you fill in the information and it just takes you to another site. Always scroll down the page and read that fine print, it will state that filling in this application, means they will search for a company that suites your needs, also there may be a very light box that is automatically checked, this is where all the trouble starts. You don’t even know it but that will activate these debit/visa sites and they have your info. Just fight the fight, keep calling them and cancel the card or Virtual card (no card but just a number that you never get) Call your bank and have the charge reversed, and complain to the FTC.gov / your states Attorney General's office and your states State Banking Commission. They provide all the forms on line to download and the FTC's website lets you file online, and trust me they get back to you, the more they here about a certain company the more they investigate. So do as much as possible prior to contacting these offices "Knowledge Is Power", Good Luck...

I never signed anything on their website, where ever it is. Now I have my pay check coming in tomorrow that's going to get eaten away and i have to pay my rent. citizens bank said that they sould send me a form in the mail so they can dispute this, but it's going to take up to 10 days for them to process the form.

I had a missed call from an 800 number on my phone today. Figured since I was applying for jobs and that I wanted to not miss any employment possibilities, I returned the call. I heard 'USA Credit' when they answered and I figured I might be talking to a collection agency (since I have a few overdue bills) and then they started to tell that I have been qualified to receive $7500 in credit that would be reported to the 'credit agencies' within 30 days of my account activation.

After giving them some information or verifying what they knew about me, I was transferred to another operator who went in for the kill. I gave them my bank routing number, but not the account information. This was to verify that i actually had a real bank. I then became suspicious that they were going to charge me. From what I see, most of you are quoting $149 and change and a $7000 credit line, which does not match what I was hearing. They quoted me $109 that could be taken out at a later date.

When I asked about pricing and that I needed to pay shipping, she would not give me any specific information. I asked to speak with a supervisor and then waited a few seconds. I was rebutted by telling me 'Don't you want to improve your credit?'

I again asked for a supervisor and then started speaking to a man who was so vague, could not quote me any shipping charges for a typical order or even pricing. When I tried to pin him down to prices of the products or brand names (they quoted Sears, JC Penny's and Wal-Mart as stores that they had items could buy from) he was not able to tell me if I could get Tide or Sony products from his website.

Since I was on the road, I could not write anything down, nor did I want to give up anymore details, I told him I would look at the website, but it took me a while to find it, since I barely remembered the name. I finally did a google search and saw more info to the negative than their official website.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I'm glad that I was not ripped off, but other things have been attached to bank accounts or credit cards in the past and I have lost thousands, but now I am more protective. My one saving grace is that I don't use my legal name anymore on the internet. So if they are seeking true information and my pseudonym does not match their database I know they received my information from a viable source. When someone contacts me unsolicited, like others have claimed from a payday loan or some other way that I have not pursued knowingly, I become skeptical.

Much luck to those of you that were taken advantage of in this way. I hope my post will lend itself to other BEFORE something happens to them as well. Thanks for reading.

I am a mother of two small children, I never stoop to the level of going online and applying for a payday loan. Things got really tough and I had no other choice. I decided to go through Money Mutual since they seemed like an honest company since they were all over the T.V. They directed me to a place called CashNet USA which in all reality is a pretty reliable company... BUT during the online application this f*&*ing company took all of my personal information including social, bank information, date of birth, home address and withdrew from my account 149.95. Now, to make matters worse I only had 30.00 in the account... This is a total bull s*&t scam.. I hope someone will be able to take them down quickly so this doesnt happen to more people.

I am so glad that I'm not alone in this! I run a small business and had a certain amount of money set aside in my budget, and USA Credit debited my checking account for TWO CHARGES of 149.95! These charges made my account go negative as well! Needless to say, I immediately reported this to my bank and did a stop payment on these items. In addition, my bank will now instantly reject any and all charges made from USA Credit on not only my account, but every other customer as well! My bank told me that the odds of me getting my money back are excellent, but could take up to 10 business days. Even though these events set me back a bit, I'm glad to know that I will be getting back my funds. In addition to this, I thought I should mention to all of you that I too was put on hold with a recording that said, "your wait time will be 18 minutes." I waited for 10 minutes, then hung up. I called back again, and I got the same message. This time, I waited almost the full 18 minutes, then an operator came on the line and asked for my name and number, and said that someone would call me back within an hour. However, I insisted on waiting the remaining time, and I was told that I couldn't do that. Needless to say, no return call ever came. And when I too went on the website to try and find out more about the fraudulent charges, there was no such link to try and resolve the situation. Let's band together people...I'm sure that there are more out there who have been scammed like we have been!

USA Credit Unauthorized billing!

I checked my account and 149.95 had been taken out by USA Credit without my authorization, then put back in but now my bank had charged me 66.00 for it being overdrawn. I would like to know how they got my account information when i didn't even do anything on their website.

According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: “we could not do anything for you" or “you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days". If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.
Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.

If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

USA Credit Unauthorized bank charges

I also found an unauthorized charge on my bank account for $149.95 to USA Credit. I called the 800 number listed on my bank account and told the girl that answered the phone that I never requested their "credit card", and that I wanted the funds deposited back into my account. She assured me that my so-called account with USA Credit would be cancelled, and the entire $149.95 would be refunded back to my checking account. She even gave me a confirmation number. It has been over one week, and my account is still overdrawn because of this. What can anybody do about this fraudulent company?

Did some research, USA Credit's parent company is Commonwealth Marketing Group (CMG). Other dba's are CMG Credit, CMG Inc, Provincial Trust, Reservation Center The, U S A Shopping Club, Ultimate Offer, USA Benefits, USA Credit, USA Mobile, and USA Platinum, so stay away from these as well. Owner is Frederick F. Zeigler III. He and his wife live in Chalkhill, PA (Anyone living here wish to pay him a visit?). CMG currently has a C- rating on BBB. Submit your complaints to BBB demanding an F rating. Discovered 16 different phone #s under this company all of them either disconnected, placing me on a ridiculously long hold, or stating that I'm calling after hours when it's clear that all businesses (no matter the time zone) should be open. I'm going to my bank today to file a dispute along with copies of your complaints. They said it should be no problem crediting the $149.95 back to my account considering the amount of complaints and bogus phone numbers. I will keep everyone posted when I get back from the bank. Hang in there and keep fighting! In this economy, people who make others' lives worse than they already are deserve to be punished. Agree?

I just looked at my bank account yesterday and saw a random $149 charge that I obviously didn't authorize because my bank account doesn't even have the funds to cover it. It's still there today, the bank hasn't returned it. I don't know what to do, this is insane! I was online filling out an app for a cash advance through a completely different company and ended up with this charge. Is this even legal?

I just looked at my checking account and found a $149.95 charge that I did not know anything about. I do not have any loan or any thing else that I have authorized any charge to come out of my checking account. I tried to call the [protected] number, but of course, it is automated and noone is available. This was my holiday money and now I have to go to my bank and try to get help with this.

I would like to know a month later, if your money has been refunded to you in full? I had a terrible experience with them on the phone today.. would not take no for an answer and finally had to yell, I am NOT interested and I had better NOT receive one cent charged on my visa card which they already read the last 4 digits back to me stating they had... as did they read my unlisted phone number and address in full as well... I have already flagged my bank family and friends .. what a mess!

Contact your bank, and ask them to dispute the charge.
Also, change the checking account number.

I was recently hit with an overdraft fee because USA credit attempted to debit my account for $149.95. I am appalled of this because I did not give an authorization of such kind on my account. I am waiting until they open at 9am to call to discuss my anger and situation with this company.
