Dell - sales and customer service

Worst customer service ever. I only wanted to add an extended warranty on my recent purchase through Dell but for the past 40 minutes, all I have gotten is a run around.. Nobody and I do mean nobody has the proper training to handle my request at all.. I got passed from one department to another. I'm not sure if its the language barrier or just basic product knowledge. What ever happen to good old customer care? Very disappointed Dell has fallen this far down in customer care. Ill be taking my home and business needs somewhere that still offers that personal touch.

Dell - Laptop order process, customer service, tech support, and returns

Order Date 12/1 & 12/2/19. Receipt of computer 12/6/19. Shipped back by UPS 12/13 & 12/14/19. Request full refund and no replacement! The person handling my complaint is Hemalda Victor in India. One of the Incident numbers is Incident # [protected]. The person ordering replacement without my permission is From Dell Returns Team l Service Request Number [protected] | Abhilash J.M.
The laptop arrived improperly configured. The Microsoft Store indicated it contained unauthorized software. I resolved the configuration problem myself since their people did not know what they were doing. The only people available are all in India. There is a language barrier. It has taken literally two weeks to reach the right people, and I even sent outside mail correspondence to Michael Dell at corporate HQ in TX. The people who replied left an unintelligible voice mail in response. When I finally received the return mailing labels to return the product well within the 30 day period allowed, I received an email from the Returns Desk saying they ordered replacement product which I DID NOT order! I have contacted my credit card company, returned all products, and blocked the vendor from future charges. From the large number of complaints on this board, I gather many people are experiencing similar problems. Run as fast as you can away from Dell! Do not order anything from them. This would almost be comical if it were not so serious. I did not find a way to attach documents, only photos. Let me know of a way to send word documents.
