US Bank Card

I was finally credited 9 k I had waited 5 months for. Emergency money, with now no thanks to the state of maine for their delayed system was available. My mortgage on the house I built by hand and birthed my children in was in defer till nov. 1 a balance of 4 k needed to avoid foreclosure. My businesses greenhouse's in need of new paneling to protect from the 24° weather due tonight so I can get off unemployment. At a cost of 4 k. Well, evidently I am only allowed to spend 1500 a day. And yet things pend, then post on any given day (one sat a whole week). On that random day, not the day I charged it, it will take from that days limit. I called, asked how to access the funds that at that point are mine. Was told a few days I could access all my balance. It was in the system. So, day before, I called to verify, was told as of midnight I could pay my bills. It was a misleading lie costing me greatly. Note a few hours on the phone by now. Then it didn't work. I am going to loose my crop, and my home to the restrictions and negligence of this company. Do you think I can't manage my funds? It is clear I could if you weren't restricting my access I could have my business running instead of freezing. There is clearly no fraud on my account, the only reason you greedy people want to keep our funds is to collect the huge bounty of interest off our backs while our bills are unpaid, keep your balance higher to impress your investors and likely benefit from more transaction profit from added transactions due to limit. Thanks state of maine, thanks great u.S. Bank... Hope you go bankrupt too

US Bank Got a settlement offer, sent the requested amount, then told “sorry we didn’t get it in time so we will reduce your balance

I'm going to put up a new website that talks about my US Bank experiences. I sent them a money order, hand carried it to the Post Office and the USPS told me ‘there is no such zip code"so the zip code on their settlement agreement letterhead doesn't exist! I called US Bank and they said"don't worry we will receive it and your payment will be received without problem, even if is somehow delayed we will accept your settlement payment."Of course US Bank lied."Robby, "probably all fake names, said the zip code problem (printed on their letterhead) didn't cause the problem, it must have been something else. He didn't have any other reason to offer me, but"it wasn't our fault" was their reason for not giving me the settlement offer they proposed.

What can I say, I think I was scammed. They set me up with a bad address then used the post office as an excuse to take my money and not take it as the payoff that was intended.

Just a warning for all of you who are trying to settle with US Bank, you can't trust them!

US Bank Horrible U.S. bank reliacard dispute department

A formal complaint against U.S. Bank Reliacard is a third party who process payment and terrible customer service when it comes to dispute they're disgruntled employee will be delayed processing certain refund I had dispute at the Central Market for $11.00 and $61.00 then a $400 ATM unauthorized withdrawal fee this company is in breach of contract and FDIC federal banking guidelines. Normal standard to decide if a customer will be granted a provision credit is 10days instead this company deliberately will get lying to me over and over the claim was disputed and submitted on 10/04/2020 and including the Grapevine 150 and Lyft test $250 both where both deposit that lack integrity and dignity very low class as the run as scandalous act to avoid providing disputes I fax everything including ID they kindly refunded Grapevine and Lyft but didn't refund the entire balance as provisional credit. It is now 10/26/2020 and now the representative don't remember what refund but keep saying there will be a provision and I qualified but Taylor their supervisor was explained several times she still didn't get the message and had void process and now has lapse pass the 10 days as of today told me because I have re-fax driver license that now I will have to restart my 10 days when it was already fax on the 10/04/2020 twice driver license and forms explanation this far most the worst team to dispute transaction. Why 20 day to provide a provisional credit 11.00, 61, 400 atm is obsurge and ridiculous very misleading and discrimination a satanic department give people the run around and difficulty as they're on money. I will be leaving U.S. bank because of their fraud and dishonesty staff who lack respect for their customers are other option as maybe they are about to go out of business can't afford chargebacks is something they need to take up with FDIC department and Ombudsman for illegal processing deputing normal than 10 days grace period for provisional credit and using pity excuses. Everyone doesn't have the same answer when asking a question this deceptive unfair business practice bogus statement to me is wrongful and exhaustion over my own money.

US Bank Utah unemployment reliacard

My name is Lance Norman, for identifying purposes, last four of SS is 4278 Received Reliacard in April 2020 with Utah unemployment benefits applied to it. Wallet was stolen within 2 weeks of receiving card, with Reliacard in it. Called Reliacard that day to inform them. They said they would "deactivate" the card and send a replacement. After seven months and numerous calls to their customer service (1855-233-8374) in April, on May 6th, June 9th, July 2nd, July 15th, July 30th, and calls on Aug 4th, Aug 5th, where I was disconnected no less than 6 times Card has never been received (verified that address on file is 4302 W Deno Dr, West Valley City, UT 84120, ph # on account is [protected]). Filed complaint #231573 with Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. US Bank/Reliacard Prepaid Card Service in Minneapolis, sent letter thru CFPB to me requesting I fax verification of my identity to 1-877-503-1742. Which I did on 10/16/20. Didn't hear anything, so called again on 10/21. Talked to Diane in CS Dept, who confirmed documents were received and approved. She explained account had been "locked" so that no one could access the account, which I was glad to hear. Said to call Monday, 10/26, at which time the account would be unlocked and they could express a new card to me. It is now Monday, 10/26, and I am on the phone with CS again, right now, and the CS rep now says he cannot confirm my identity because it appears that all the identifying info in my account has been deleted? He transferred me to a tier 2 rep and I've now been on hold for 3 hours. I lost my job due to COVID and have not been able to get other employment. I am now homeless and have over $12, 000 on my Reliacard that I can't access. Please provide a response to this complaint to [protected]@msn.com or contact me at [protected]. Due to the length of time it has taken to get resolution, I'm no longer at the phone number on file at Reliacard. When I've tried to call and update my account I'm told they can't update it? Thank you for your quick response and, hopefully, resolution to my complaint. Regards, Lance Norman

I haven't heard from you and still no resolution on above complaint. I have started believing that US Bank is as fraudulent and criminal as your Reliacard Dept. I am now blocked from even talking to Reliacard CS because they say I need a password, which THEY HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR BEFORE and I have never given them. For SEVEN MONTHS now, they have found every way in the book to prevent resolution of my case from not deactivating the card when I notified them it was stolen, saying they can't identify me, then saying they have to send request to management, then locking the account, and then hanging up on me numerous times when I have called...too many times for it to be an accident. There is no way to reach Reliacard except through the CS # and they are criminally negligent in their help. When I ask to be transferred to a supervisor or manager for escalated help, only after pleading do they "say" they will transfer me. They then put me on hold for three hours before the call is disconnected. Through a letter Prepaid Card Services in Minneapolis sent me on September 22, 2020, I was directed to either fax my DL, SS card and W-2 to 877.503.1742 to verify my identity, or upload it by signing into my account. I faxed the requested information but, obviously couldn't sign in and upload, because I need my 16-digit card number to sign in, WHICH I DO NOT HAVE. I faxed the information twice, and asked them to confirm through text or email that they received and could read the fax, but never got a response. And, only after finally talking with someone in CS did I get confirmation it was received and approved. But then they still didn't send a new card. The number in the letter said I could reach them at 888.233.5916, but that is the regular CS number and, again, they have been completely unresponsive. I was told to include in the fax the identifying Card ID#[protected] (don't even know if this is a legitimate number, but hope so). I am very surprised that a company of your stature would allow this type of service to occur. I have just recently filed a third complaint with the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (second complaint # in the attached letter has never been resolved, even though they responded it had), BBB, and have sent a letter to my Congressman. It may behoove you to just send me a cashier's check to take care of this. I have tried to change information in my account, as I am no longer living at the address on file, but CS refuses to do this for me. Please issue a CASHIER'S CHECK to me (I do not trust that if I get a Reliacard it will work, and I don't trust that if you send me a regular check you won't stop payment), overnight to be by FedEx at 4598 Oxford Way, Bountiful, UT 84010. I have been trying for SEVEN MONTHS to resolve this issue, have no income because I have not found another job since COVID. I need MY unemployment money, you are keeping from me, all $12, 270.00, so I can survive the next few months. Again, please call me at [protected], email me at jwjerman@msn.com, or just overnight by FedEx the cashier's check. And, please retrain your Reliacard CS to treat people with a lot more respect. There are pages and pages of complaints on the internet about your service. Regards, Lance Norman

US Bank Reliacard - freeze on unemployment funds

I've been locked out of my unemployment funds that are paid through US Bank Reliacard. A month ago, they said there was fraudulent activity on my card. So, they issued me a new card. The only problem is two of the cards would not activate, so I had to wait for a third card. It usually takes 5-7 business days for the card to arrive. September 17th the 3rd card arrived and I activated it. It was active for one day, and then it was declined at the grocery store. After a week of numerous phone calls and waiting on hold for 4-5 hours at a time, I was told there had been a freeze put on my card because they were auditing my account. I was told I needed to fax in a copy of my drivers' license, rental agreement, and SSN card, and it would take 3 days.
I faxed these documents on the 28th of September, and called 3 days later. They could not find my documents and I was told to keep checking back. On October 7th I would not accept their response of "call back", and I demanded something be done.
They asked me if when I faxed my documents, I increased the photocopy size on drivers license by 200%, because if I hadn't my fax papers were tossed. So, on Friday I went back to the UPS store to fax the documents with the NEW instructions only to have the UPS store try 12 times to fax my documents and the fax would not go through. UPS said the machine is responding like its off the hook or unplugged on Reliacards end.
I came home called Reliacard and was literally told "hmmm, that doesn't sound right, but maybe try back on Monday. As of today, 10/10/2020 I have not been able to send the fax with my documents. That means my account is sitting there locked and I have no way to correct this.
I have almost $3000 on my card that I cannot access because EVERYTIME I get the run around and a new hoop to jump through.
My utilities and rent are late, and there are late fees adding up. The burden upon me is great as I am raising my grandchildren. I have NO groceries, or gas in my car to get them to school. We set out walking an hour before school starts as it is over a mile away. I had to borrow money from a neighbor just to send the fax. I am desperate for someone to guide me on how to resolve this and be granted access to the unemployment I am entitled too.

US Bank Without warning removed it's online option to transfer my money into my personal checking account, starting sept.

Since July, I qualified for PUA, Pandemic Unemployment Assistance. PA, my state, forced everyone to only collect their funds via the debit ReliaCard, from US Bank. But you could immediately transfer your balance online, to your personal checking account, which I did successfully in August. However, without warning, US Bank removed this option in September. I wasted a lot of time searching for it, and their 24/7 customer support phone number only answers with a recorded message. that they are overwhelmed with phone calls - so no Help there.

Now I will have to go in person to a teller, to do the cash transfer for me manually, when teller hours are by appointment only. Due to Covid-19, banks here are only open for Drive Thru deposits/withdrawals.

US Bank Address change restricted account for over 20 days

I have been trying desperately to get my account unlocked that I received my unemployment benefits with ReliaCard for over 22 days now. I have faxed and uploaded my ID & address verification documents multiple times a week. Everyday after waiting on hold for over 1hr I get a new excuse to why they cannot release my funds to me either they have not received my documents (that I have confirmation#'s to) or they couldn't see them because they were too dark, that they're in review and to check back 5 days later this has gone on for far too long and now all my bills are past due, I can't put food on my table or gas in my car! This has been a nightmare all due to me updating my address like the disclosure says I should. Nowhere in it does it mention your account will be immediately froze and address verification required as well as ID verification and will take who knows how long. Please help me resolve this issue as it is now an URGENT & serious issue involving daily survival.

Well as of today the newest issue with verifying my ID or excuse should I say is that my current ID card does not match my new address so now they need another government issued ID for this verification. I have sent my lease my electric bill and my voter registration card copies I am at wit's end on what else to do. Tomorrow's a new day so we shall see what will unfold. Wishing you the best of luck!

US Bank Reliacard

It all started when I transferred more money than I was allowed from my usbank reliacard account into my other bank account and my reliacard was deactivated due to "suspicious activity" now I can't use my reliacard at the store, gas station, any bank or ATMs, I couldn't do any online transfers either although I was still able to login into my account online and see the money I supposedly still had in there (I think usbank is trying to steal it) so I drive to a usbank branch bank location two hours away from my residence for them to tell me they can't do absolutely a single thing when I was told over the phone before I left after speaking with a representative that they could unlock the card for me. She said she couldn't help me because the unemployment section is a separate branch of the bank. Drive two hours back home. The first time I called I spent an hour before someone got a hold of me. I was able to verify my account with a series of questions and then was asked to fax my ID to be able to reactivate my account again and finish verifying. So I go ahead and fax my ID. A whole day goes by and now I'm not even able to login into my online account to check my current balance. I called during night hours (12am to 4am) because according to them they have 24/7 service and I spent two hours on one cell phone and one hour in my gfs cell phone, I called with two phones to see if they would answer one quicker than the other one but they didn't answer neither one. I dont think they really work at night. Next morning forced to call again I spent an hour and a half to talk to someone and when somebody finally picks up, THEY HANG UP ON ME! pissed off, I tried to check my reliacard account online again and guess what? Im able to log in now! but my available balance is ZERO! all my money gone, disappeared. Forced to call again, this time I spent another 50 minutes on the phone before everything went mute, had to hang up because the theme music and the automated computer saying "thank you for your patience, your call is very important to us, please remain on the line" [censored] quit so I called back and this time I waited and hour and thirty minutes to finally speak with someone. She told me the account was verified the day before and they sent me a new debit card with my money in it. I'm here thinking to myself, why the fu^k would you guys send me a new debit card with my money in it when the one I had was perfectly fine? WHY ARE YOU GUYS MAKING THINGS SO COMPLICATED? kinda slipped out, but now I gotta wait at least ten days to get in touch with these [censored]$ again if my new debit card that I never requested doesn't get here. This bank is horrible. Im only dealing with these nitwits because I got laid off due to COVID19 and got set up with this account. I have set up my bank account's direct deposit already with the state. Although it takes up to a month to get the direct deposit into effect at least I wont have usbank as a middle man no more. Never trusted banks with money, usbank is no exception and my mind wont ever change. Buy gold, stick it up under your pillow. Anyways, will I ever get my new debit card? [censored] I do hope so. Good luck out there people.

US Bank Home mortgage refund

I sold a property on 22 June 2020 that had a mortgage at US Bank. I had told them to be sure to change my address from the property location to my new address. When the loan was closed, they sent the refund of my escrow account to the wrong address. I called and they issued a new check. I got the new check and cashed it. Two weeks later, I received a third check from them for the same amount. I talked to them and explained that I had the other check already - so they told me to just hold the third check. In the mean time, I was expecting a refund of the homeowner's insurance that USAA had sent to US Bank. They assured me that as soon as that processed, they would send the refund. 2 months later, I still do not have the check. They are saying it was mailed but I asked to have the refund wired to my bank. They are so confused and no one knows what they are doing. The last person I talked to indicated that they could get me a check by the 23 of September - but I feel that I have waited for this long enough. The young lady and I went through the phone numbers on my account and we deleted all the old numbers and made sure my new one was there. She removed the wrong number. I had never dealt with such incompetence in my life.

US Bank Boat loan

I have paid off my boat loan in 2014, yet they couldn't release the lien holder until today, Aug of 2020.
As WA Licensing requires an affidavit in lien of title, US Bank refused to provide such even though they have confirmed the load had been paid off. I have been dealing with the bank for weeks, and I have an email with someone from the headquarter who was supposed to help me resolve me. For 2 weeks the auto-loan department of US Bank hasn't responded and made any progress, and the representative just stopped responding to my email.

US Bank Cashed incorrect check

I had to write a check to electrical contractor in amount of $400. I printed this amount, but in words below made a mistake and wrote "four thousands". Bank have to use 2 level of the verification of each check, but no one in US Bank paid attention to discrepancy and cashed the $4000. I found mistake next day after contractor deposited money and immediately called to US Bank customer service. Representative assured me that they would solve the problem and I should expect $3600 refund by next 2-3 business days. I was waiting 3 days and called again. That time they told me about no option to get my money back since check already cashed. Moreover, the customer service representative was rude and didn't want to talk. When I requested the manager shes answer was: "he is busy". I'm still don't know what needs to be done and not expecting any help from the bank.

US Bank Theft from my checking account

Several months ago a business associate gave me cash to make a US Bank credit card payment. I phoned in and made the payment using my checking account. Now, months later, I reviewed my bank accounts and found that US Bank had withdrawn by ACH another sum of money. I call US Ban and following several extended holds was told that I telephone authorizes the ACH. I stated that I made no such authorization and asked to hear the recording, another hold, the recording could not be located. I was then disconnected. I went to my associate's house and we both called, several holds, we were told that the associate was called by US Bank and authorized the payment. My associate did not receive any call and is not authorized to use my account, further he does not have the routing or account numbers. Again we asked to here to recording, extended hold, they were unable to locate the recording. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told it would take 15 business days to return my money.
U S Bank stole my money.

This is a racket. They stole every single dollar from my gift card by charging $2 / month in fees. This happened 4 years before the card expired. Their fee schedule is on the back of the card, but in very very fine print. You wouldn't be able to read it without a magnifying glass. Customer service was icy and unapologetic. This can't be legal. I was scammed using zelle. I would have never used zelle if my bank ( us bank) was not with zelle. Because I am very cautious, I figured It was safe since U.S. Bank has suggested it when I go into my online banking.
I opened two disputes, neither of which did anyone get back to me. Neither asked one question about the scam. They just denied it. I provided several forms of documentation, contacted the fraud liaison and no one will get
Back to me.
If I were a scammer getting thousands of dollars from innocent people would you like me as a customer? Well, you are saying it's ok for this guy to continue to take money from your customers. I feel it's us banks responsibility to disclose to the scammers bank exactly what is going on. Where is my protection? 1200 is so much money for me. I need your help to get my money back please.

My account was put on hold last week without my knowledge i new there was fraudulent disputes i called it in I go to a branch to withdraw money the lady starts counting my money and then looks at her computer and says I’m sorry but your account is in hold you can’t get any money. I’ve talked to so many people at U.S. Bank for a week tomorrow. I’m on social security disability and get a little widow pension.I got my money on the 3rd of each month.

I had my money for only 3 days,

Now I have 11 dollars to my name until they close my account and send me a check in the mail! I want answers. What kind of bank don’t call you or even mail anything to you to say where putting a hold on your account. I had U.S. Bank for over 10 years I would never recommend there bank. I’m really thinking of going to the Newspaper to let them know how dear a bank put a hold on your account without any knowledge, like I said I’m on social security disability and widow pension for over 15 years that’s my only income and they took away until their ready to send me a check? How I’m I supposed to live?

I used my US Bank relia card to purchase ebay cards for a car that I found on Craigslist.
Car with insurance was $1, 800.00. The paperwork from what I thought was a legitimate ebay service,
was way to perfect to really suspect anything, other than I felt the price for the car was to good to be true.
Anyways, received al the directions how to go about making the purchase through ebay, along with the necessary insurance. Again as I mentioned using ebay payment cards, which where purchased at Lowes and Walgreens using my US Bank Relia Card to pay. When the car did not show up as was promised, I tried to call the ebay number which was written on several items of documentation I had.
Well, THE NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED. In doing quite a bit more investigating, it was confirmed
I was scammed out of $ 1, 800.00.
I have been trying for two days to report this to the US Bank Fraud Dept. but after spending literally hours on hold, I have been disconnected four times. I am hoping somehow, someway someone can help me with this. MY email rfilopresident@yahoo.com

US Bank Leased vehicle

I have a leased Toyota, as does my wife. Both leases started 11/19. My credit is very high (>800) so when we leased, Toyota financed my wife and sent me to US Bank. I have paid on time every time, usually well in advance of the due date. Covid 19 has put a serious dent in my income, as well as my wife's. Toyota gave my wife a 2 month relief of payments for assistance through the Covid 19 pandemic. The lease will be extended for 2 extra months and she will be able to keep her car during that time, but no extra mileage was granted... but not to worry bc we have not gone anywhere for a few months anyway, so we have a lot of mileage backed up. US Bank did NOT offer anything like this at all. What they did offer would seem like a good thing to anyone who does not comprehend finance at a level necessary to understand that US Bank is actually are actually profiteering off of this terrible situation we are all in. It is nothing less than a scam. It works like this: they will give you two months of reprieve on payments, but you must pay it all back at the end of the lease as well as turn in your vehicle, no extension. Your last payment will be 3x your regular payment, plus interest on the money not paid during the reprieve. That means that they are actually charging a lessee more in the end than what was agreed upon by charging interest on money not lent. The longer you have left before the end of your lease, the more they make. This is a far cry from the "we're all in this together" attitude of Toyota... however, I am not too please with Toyota for putting me in a lease with a company with such unethical practices. Toyota told me there was nothing they could do, so next time I need a lease you can bet I'll be looking at other options... I've been leasing from Toyota for 6 years. I will happily contribute to any class action suit against US Bank for unethical business practices during a national emergency. Feel free to contact me. [protected]@yahoo.com.
