Upstate Restorations review: Bad service 1

Back in the fall of 2011, we contracted with John Benoit, owner of Upstate Restorations, LLC, to replace some windows and replace existing entry doors and do some framework and painting. The work took so long and is not very good quality, you can see light coming through around the doors when they are closed and you can feel a draft around both the doors and windows. The work stopped the issues have not been corrected and it has been almost impossible to contact John. You can leave a message and if you are lucky to catch him, he always having some kind of excuse or issue going on. He was supposed to come back but never showed up. I can't believe that it has taken so many months to get him to come back and finish the job. I paid him in full and this was a big mistake, I trusted the man but I learned my lesson the hard way I guess. Never pay them in full until the job is complete. My framework and painting still needs to be completed and it's almost a year now. I"m getting tired of waiting. I do not recommend this company to anyone.
