UPS - wrong package delivered to my address, I got a stranger's items. ups store 4613 refuses to help.

Here is what I wrote the UPS store #4613.

My name is Randi Hamilton, my reference number is D1076. I paid for you to pick up a pair of jeans with pink flower embroidery from Harrison Hall Hotel and send them to me. I paid $15.75 for the pick up. Over the phone Kara (?) told me it would be $31.00 and change to send the package to me at 7627 3rd Avenue, Glen Burnie, MD, 21060. I then got an email receipt for $47.67. I just figured she miscalculated and didn't think much of it.

Today I received a box from you that was addressed to me on the outside, but inside the package was labeled to go to a Brandon Blankenhorn, 1539 Long Run Road, Schuylkill Haven, PA, 17972. The package was full of boys wet shorts and t-shirts, and flip-flops. I called your store, spoke to Niesha(?) who first put me on hold for 20 minutes (she "forgot"?); then, when I called back, did look up my reference number and quoted that the package was supposed to be one pair of embroidered jeans.

I believe you put the wrong packages in the wrong boxes. Can you call Mr. Brandon Blankenhorn to see if he received my jeans? I need to know how to send this package back. I cannot spend my own money. There is a UPS store near my house, here's the information:

UPS Store

Chesapeake Square

6710 Ritchie Hwy, Ste. F

Glen Burnie, MD 21061

410-761-8933

Can you call them and tell them to accept my dropping off the package? You would need to pay for packaging and shipping to Brandon Blankenhorn.

I need to know what you charged my card, and all or some of it needs to be reimbursed, depending on whether or not you can track down my jeans. If you can find my jeans, then you can keep the $15.75, as long as you get them back to me. I need to know if you charged me both the 31.00 and the 47.00 charge for shipping. I believe the 47.67 was probably for Mr. Blankenhorn's package. That needs to be reimbursed, the 31.00 charge can stay if you can get my jeans to me.

If you've lost my jeans, I need everything reimbursed, and I should be compensated for you losing my package.

Please get back to me quickly - my number is [protected].

I called the next day, spoke with a very defensive, argumentative staffer named Kara, who kept yelling that it wasn't their fault because the hotel signed off on the pick up. She insisted they has no responsibility to perform minimal due diligence, i.e. notice that the clearly labeled names and address didn't match, and that a pair of jeans wouldn't weigh 6 pounds.

I want a refund.
