Unlimited Vacation Club Membership benefits are not true, this company is a scam

My husband and I signed up while on our honeymoon at Secrets Cap Cana which was a beautiful resort. They tried first to sell us on a 20+ year commitment costing 6 figures, but we weren't ready to make that kind of commitment after only staying at one resort.

We instead signed up for a 5-year package and still spent thousands, but we were assured we would get VIP service, free upgrades, use of the preferred club benefits etc. Well thankfully we didn't commit to 20 years because we basically paid thousands of dollars for 7 free nights which would have cost far less to just pay for ourselves. The next time we stayed at a resort, we did a family trip to Now Sapphire in Mexico. It was a terrible experience from check-in to check out.

Nothing was as promised, my family did not have connecting rooms as promised, we weren't even in the same buildings. When we complained, they did nothing. I did not get early check in, I did not get a room upgrade, I did not get preferred club benefits and the biggest excuse was I didn't choose a high enough plan. My AC was broken, and I complained 3 nights in a row, maintenance would literally come in and bang on a few things then leave, by the third complaint they brought me in some garbage rickety old fan.

I had an infant, and we slept in a humid, hot room because they refused to change our rooms. This is all during COVID when they were supposedly only operating at 60% capacity, yet they didn't have a room to move me to with working AC, an upgraded room, or a building that could accommodate the 3 rooms my family booked to be together. UVC membership gets you nothing. Its BS.

I spoke to a man at dinner that said he just does the presentation every time he goes and never signs up and gets the benefits.

He was getting upgraded to a swim up room for sitting through their sales pitch, while I was getting nothing because they already have my money. Absolute scam and not worth it.

Unlimited Vacation Club Unlimited vacation club lifestyle collections/ amresort

This is the worst nightmare. I purchased AMResort, and was up sold to the Lifestyle collections. Been a member since 2018. I called Lifestyle collections today trying to figure out how to use my "$3700" savings credit, turns out it was bunch of nothing. I was redirected to a membership sales person by the name of Ricardo, I asked him about the benefits, and the way he spoke to me was so condescending, treating me like an imbecile on the phone that I had to end the conversation. The funny thing was, Ricardo send me a "cancellation" letter without any discussion with me after I hung up. Might as well, what a total waste of money. I paid couple thousand dollars initially and now a $29 monthly that lock me in until 12/22/ 2023 for absolutely nothing! Get this, I only took a cruise trip bit only got a "$160 discount" since 2018, yet I payed few thousand dollars upfront and now monthly $29. Do the math! That cruse travel still costed me $2400, so exactly what was the benefit here?!

Also, turns out "$3700 savings credit" only applies to hotel, cruise, resort, rental, no airfare, and with bunch other restrictions that goes further as it does not apply to Mexico and Caribbean because that's AMResorts territory. Long story short, whatever they are offering you at a discount rate, basically are just "discount" rate for each purchase (up to "60%", but you get the same or better discounts by going on to Expedia, or any travel agency without upfront membership enrollment fees and a $29 monthly fee.

The only reason I was even introduced to the LifeStyle collections were by the AMResort that had given me "certificates" at the lifestyle collection to sell me the pearl membership package! Which I never got to use these certificates because they all expired! But when you talk to AMResort and LifeStyle Collections both under the Unlimited vacation club after you got sucker into buying the memberships, they will act like they know nothing of each other's organization. Anyway, the bottomline is that they tag team to sell you air! Total SCAM!

Everything about the Unlimited Vacation Club is a total scam! It's a hogwash club that offer you "discount" Travels that you can easily book through Expedia or travel agencies without a "membership" down payment and fee! DO NOT buy into this scam!

Desired outcome: Membership refund

Unlimited Vacation Club Membership

***WARNING***
My most sincere advice to anyone traveling to any of the AM Resorts. The company flat out lies to get you to sign up for a membership that doesn't deliver what it promises. When you are at a beautiful resort, of course the promise of huge savings to return sounds great! Unfortunately, there are no savings to be had. Do yourself a favor, and just read a few BBB reviews on Unlimited Vacation Club (https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/miami/profile/travel-club/unlimited-vacation-club-0633-90110796/customer-reviews) before you go!

You have to wear masks to get food outside, but everyone is touching the same tongs, it was not clean, food was cheap and not good, it was such a disappointing experience.

I spoke to a man at dinner that said he just does the presentation every time he stays at a resort to get the freebies they offer and never actually signs up.

Unlimited Vacation Club Lack of Refund

We had a reservation fro Feb 18, 2020 at Secrets St Martin. They canceled the reservation because the reconstruction from the hurricane damage was not complete. We were redirected to the DR but had to pay another airline fee. We were promised a reimbursement of this charge. We submitted all of the paperwork for a $1, 390.90 refund. Now it is 1 1/2 years later and they still acknowledge they owe us but have not paid. How long do you have to wait?

Desired outcome: Pay the amount owed

Unlimited Vacation Club Unethical membership practice

Warning! Beware! Impression black members being treated unfairly and held hostage by unlimited vacation club unethical contract practices!
We have been loyal UVC members since 2015. Over these last 6 years, we have upgraded and are now Impressions Black members.
On our last visit to Secrets the Vine location, we were approached for yet another upgrade. If you have been through an update presentation, you know how overwhelming and aggressive those meetings can be. There is currently no higher upgrade than Impressions Black, however, were promised more weeks, etc. and updated again.
Once we returned home and had a chance to review the paperwork, we realized that they actually took privileges away from us. We immediately emailed the sales reps indicating we wanted to cancel the upgrade and go back to the contract we previously had. They agreed to review and responded that the old contract was now "gone". We did not accept that response and asked again to have the new contract cancelled and reinstate the previous contract. Their response was they were discussing in their next day meeting and would let us know what they could do to assist us. No response since that message, even though we have reached out to them again.
After much research on experiences from others whom have also been taken advantage of, we feel we need to warn members and potential members of the unethical practices of Unlimited Vacation club. Anything that was negotiated and promised in previous contracts is sneakily removed when you upgrade. Example: resorts that were 1 for 1 when you sign a contract are supposed to remain 1 for 1. That was removed from our contract. Most new UVC resorts, even though they may start out as 1 for 1 will become 2 for 1 and some 3 for 1. This means you will have to redeem 2 or 3 of your VIP weeks to allow you only 1 week at a resort.
What can be done: Start by filing a complaint with PROFECO. https://qroo.us/2019/01/07/mexico-how-to-report-a-consumer-violation-to-profeco/
Warn others by sharing your experiences via social media. Trip Advisor, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Desired outcome: Revert back to previous contract

Unlimited Vacation Club Membership

I've been a member for over 10 years. While blocking off rooms for a bachelor party, the exact three rooms were taken and sold to someone else. I could not be told if they were even members. I've never been late on a payment or renewal fee, but after this experience I decided not to pay the renewal fee. When I called to book transportation for my fiancée's bachelorette party, I was told I had to first pay the renewal fee.

I explained the issue and was told to bad. Had to pay the renewal fee. This is how they treat members. DO NOT BECOME A MEMBER!

This company has gone dow hill.

Desired outcome: None.

Unlimited Vacation Club Club package

I have recently signed up for the vacation package.

My contract number is SN1 001821.

During the presentation of the package and the benefits offered for signing up I was told explicitly by the sales representative and shown the prices I could expect to pay for future visits. The prices shown were around $750 for a seven day visit to the same resort and room as compared to the $2500 that I had paid for my five night stay. When asked about rate and price changes I was told that they only would increase by 3 to 5%a year from the quoted $750. Plus additional benefits and cost savings for signing up.

Upon receiving my account info after getting home and looking up information to book my next vacation I was shocked and abhorred to discover that the rates I was seeing were no where near the quoted rates and called immediately to the customer service line to cancel my contract and obtain a refund of funds paid due to fraudulent misrepresentation of this program. The rates online were around $2000, which is not a real savings once combined with the cost of the program.

I signed up for this on May 27, 2021, received my account information on June 4 and called on June 5.

Additionally, after talking to a very rude and stress inducing Quality Assurance Fabiola Enríquez C. I feel I was treated and talked to in a way to induce anger and was talked to like I'm am idiot for failure to realize I was being lied to purposefully by their sales representative.

Desired outcome: Full refund and cancellation of contract

Unlimited Vacation Club misleading information or omitted information not given at sales meeting

In early April 2021 we visited Secrets Cap Cana, which is a beautiful resort. We attended the sales presentation to see about purchasing a membership. We purchased a membership and then discovered that many things were left out of the presentation that would certainly have affected our decision in purchasing it. Nowhere in the presentation was the "2 for 1" mentioned. This restriction forces you to use 2 nights of benefits to purchase one night at the resort. In addition, there was no mention of the yearly renewal fees that many of the associated partners charge to access their "additional benefits."

There is zero communication from their "Quality Assurance" department. When you try to call them directly, using two phone numbers given to me by their sales department, the phone rings for 4 minutes and then cuts off. I made numerous attempts at this. I have called their support team no less than 15 times to schedule a call with their QA Department but never received the call at the time that was scheduled.

This whole ordeal is a joke and I am looking for a full refund of the $5, 000 we paid up front. I have not used any of the benefits or returned to any resort so UVC is not out a penny.

My contract number is SN1-001687

Desired outcome: Full refund of monies paid.

Unlimited Vacation Club Scam Run Away

This company is such a scam and unethical. My wife and I planned a cruise through uvclifestylecollection through Carnival Cruise Line. We went to cancel 7 months before the cruise and they said we forfeit our whole sum of $635 due to cancelling. On Carnival Cruise line it states that cancels before 91 days their is no penalty, but under uvclifestylecollection they have a no refund policy. Please never use this travel agency!

Desired outcome: No Refund

Unlimited Vacation Club Unlimited Vacation Club is nothing more than a scam!

Unlimited Vacation Club sold us a timeshare that was totally different on paper than what they actually sold us.
From the very moment of arrival at Secrets, we were constantly bothered about a 90-minute consultation. Finally, we decided that we would attend and *4-hours later we are trying to do anything to get out of their stronghold. We signed a carbonless paper contract that stated we would receive 3-individual weeks stay in a "Preferred Club Swim-Out Suite" at any RCI/UNLIMITED VACATION VIP premium resort. This was explained quite clearly that we would get to stay in a room just exactly like the one we stayed in.
I started doubting that this company was legitimate so I printed out the 40-page contract document and started reading it and to my complete surprise, it was not at all what I had signed originally.
I called them on 03-04-20 and they politely said they would turn it over to their cancellation department and have someone contact me in 1-3-days. They acted like it was common and they would refund my money, they conveyed no hesitation or problem with a refund.
We were assured that we could stay in the exact hotel room that we stayed in on our stay 01-22-20, a luxury swim-up room. I repeatedly ask this specific question "Am I going to get 3-weeks in this exact same room, guaranteed?" They repeatedly said yes, without a doubt. This was not the case, the on-line contract clearly states that those rooms are not included.
Unlimited Vacation Club stalked us upon arrival at the hotel. They lied to us and forged a written document. They did not and cannot offer what they offered verbally and on paper (the one we signed and agreed to). They lied, cheated and stole our money.

Desired outcome: MY MONEY BACK

Unlimited Vacation Club Pressure sales and now a new concerning tactic

We vacationed at Sunscape Dorado, our only vacation in Nov of 2019. We were told we had to attend a "meeting" on the second morning, and we said, nah, we aren't here for meetings, we are here for vacation. They said, no you have to come — we went even though we did not want to.
It was a high pressure sales meeting, and after 3 hours of booze and strong arming, we agreed to a membership - 5K down on a 10K 20 year plan.
fine! We thought we would use it, and we did the math and seemed to be ok. Then Covid hit.
They wouldn't back off, even though the borders were closed and no one could travel.
They threatened us with collections - etc. We were mostly just taking our lumps and realizing that we can get a MUCH better deal by going on the travel sites — BUT! Today a new angle. We got a call saying UVC is being sold and would we "sell our timeshare"- is this a new scam? Anyone else get this message? They want us to send the cover letter of the contract?

Desired outcome: get out of this club.

Just a canned response from those scambags. I left a bad review on tripadvisor. I don't think they even read it as they didn't even address the issues we had. Just said "Come back and let us try to rectify". Fat chance!

Unlimited Vacation Club Unethical and disgraceful

We were lied to and cheated by the Unlimited Vacations Club team. On April 25, 2021 we sat through the membership presentation. What we were verbally promised by the sales agent and what we confirmed to be true with the signing agent at the time of contract signing were all lies. We even stopped the contract signing agent to confirm our understanding that we would be be paying NO MORE THAN $1, 400 a week. She said we were correct and she pointed to the section about the 1400 nights and told us that is what that section of the contract was talking about. We asked again that we would pay NO MORE THAN $1, 400 a week under our membership and again she said yes. She stated we would be able to see that as soon as we had access to the membership website since each web page is customized to each persons contract. It was all lies. I cannot believe how such an amazing vacation has been turned in to a complete nightmare. The tactics of the Unlimited Vacation Club team are disgraceful. We have been trying to cancel this scam since the day we got home from our vacation. The signing agent assured us that as soon as we received access to the Unlimited Vacation Club portal we would be able to see the rates that your sales agent promised. Well, it was all lies. We were cheated and scammed by the Unlimited Vacations team. Rather than having amazing memories of our 15 year wedding anniversary vacation, now all we think about is how we were cheated and scammed by your team members.
We are disputing the deposit with our credit card company. We want this "membership" to be cancelled. I want to forget I ever had any dealing with Unlimited Vacation Club.

Unlimited Vacation Club My trip to the now sapphire is being cancelled from the resort

This is John DeSantis and I have made many calls over the past 6 weeks and the club and resort have given mixed messages. I booked 5 rooms back in December for the next December 4th through the 11th 2021. I'm told the resort will now be closed and as of now have not been given a good reason nor options of relocating at no additional cost. The club keeps saying they will call me within a week and it's now been 6 weeks and I'm still waiting and getting the same mixed information. We want good alternative choices of where we can be placed as well as a return voucher due to the resort closing our week even after I have confirmation for the booking and this is the resort we chose. I expect nothing less from the club/resort since we booked in good faith and have for years now since joining the club and even before I was a member.

Desired outcome: Return Voucher as well as options to move our 5 booked rooms to another resort with option of more than one.

UVC called me and I also spoke with representatives at the Now Sapphire and they have made concessions that work for both of us and we are very appreciative. The UVC has always been good with us and I know some of the complaints I read may be their situation but as for us, we have been very satisfied with the club as well as the AM Resorts. Thank you for being accommodating. Complaint resolved to our satisfaction

Unlimited Vacation Club Refund membership cancellation

My husband and I vacationed at Cancun, Mexico from April 28 - May 5th 2021 to celebrate his 65th birthday. We booked our flight from Delta vacations with Now Emerald, one of the AMResorts hotels. On April 29th we attended a presentation at Secret The Vine Resort in Cancun owned by Unlimited Vacation Club. We were told about a lot of benefits of becoming a member of Unlimited Vacation Club including a rate for a 7 night from $49 a night and a maximum rate of $99 a night for a Junior Suite or Deluxe room at all AM resorts in Caribbean and Mexico and $692 maximum for a week with RCI resorts in United States, European and around the world. We signed a contract and paid $4, 280 for 5 year membership. On getting home, on May, 12th, we wanted to start enjoying our membership and tried to book a week to return as a member in August. The minimum weekly rate we were getting online at am resorts in Cancum is $2, 405 a week. I called the rep who signed us up in Cancum and he said it was a mistake and he will call us back. He returned our call the next day, on May 13th and gave me excuses that the rates went up and this is the first time the rate went up in 10 years and that it is because of the pandemic. I wrote him back to cancel the membership contract. Then I called unlimited vacation customer desk and the rep actually told me a different story that we only get a 25% discount and there is no rate in unlimited vacation club from $49 - $99 per night that she know of. I asked for a supervisor to cancel the membership again and she transferred me to a supervisor who told me that there is no such rate within unlimited vacation club. I told him that I had requested a cancellation of the contract to which I had no response. He told me to wait 72 hours to get a response from unlimited vacations and I told him that 72 hours did not make sense to me. The contract cancellation is 15 working days and I am within the 15 working days from April 29th 2021 when the contract was signed and cancellation request was May 13th. Unlimited vacations club is a SCAM that needs to be dealt with and the world needs to know about the business practice of scamming people.
Our payment of $4, 280 needs to refunded as soon as possible.

Desired outcome: No acknowledgement of cancellation notice

If you purchased a timeshare from Unlimited Vacation Club, you can learn how to easily cancel on your own. No more payments. Will not affect your credit. Learn how others are doing it. The Book, Everything About Timeshares, shares detail information about the illegal and unethical activities of Unlimited Vacation Club and how to easily cancel. Most consumers do not realize that they do not have business licenses to operate. They hide under the AMResorts brands.

Please refund my membership in the amount of $4, 280. I have yet to experience your membership benefits. I tried to book the rooms you presented to me a rate of $49-$99/ night at all AM resorts only to find out the price is three times higher the rate you quoted me during the presentation. In fact, i have booked another room in another resort unrelated to unlimited vacations club in Mexico that is much less than a membership rate at UVC. My husband and I and others in this this country will send information to FTC on behalf of thousands of people you have scammed including all credit cards company as you are a disgrace to other companies in this business. BUYERS BEWARE!. All social media and the news will be communicated to of your UNSCRUPULOUS business practices to innocent people . I didn't get a login within 5 days cancellation period to confirm what you presented to me about the membership benefits. The rep told me it will take 30 days to fully activate my membership. Please refund my $4, 280

Unlimited Vacation Club am resorts membership

Save your money, here's the real issue- These are four and five-star resorts being managed by a two-star management company.

- Trying to book rooms is a hassle.
- Trying to confirm you are getting the best rate is difficult to impossible.
- If you use a travel planner they ignore your membership privileges.
- I canceled a reservation made with my AMEX card and they said it could up to six weeks to issue a refund. Zero respect for their customers.
- Tried visiting 4-6 locations to preview sites for a wedding- no centralized booking- they said to call each hotel.

As I said upfront, this is not a five-star management operation. Their hotels are lovely, but the AM Resorts customer service model is inefficient and focused on the needs of the company and not the customer. If you like that model, then go ahead and join.

Desired outcome: Credit my credit and become more customer focused.

Unlimited Vacation Club Promised rates

On April 29th, 2021 we met with a representative of the Unlimited Vacation Cluuc. HIs name is Ivan Tirado. We did not want to upgrade our membership, because we really didn't care about the benefits that would include. Then he brings his boss out, who was a real [censored]. Still not interested. Then Ivan pulls out his tablet and shows us some of the rates we would be getting. Now I am interested. The rate we were shown, at Secrets Akumal, for the same week next year was 85.00 per night per person. It was right on his tablet. I then asked about Secrets Cap Cana and the rate was 120.00 per night per person. Okay. This would make the upgraded membership worth it. Well, my membership comes and I go to the website to get the rates. Nope, the rates were 5 times what we were shown. I call customer service, they say the Quality Assurance Dept will get back to me in 24-48 hours. I email Ivan and get a response from someone namendSandy Avila Sanchez, who was totally useless. I want to toal to Ivan, but of course he is on vacation.

Desired outcome: I would like to get the rates I was shown and promised or be refunded my gold lusupgraded membership fee and given back my silver membership.

Unlimited Vacation Club Liars who scam people to join a vacation club that is worthless!

We spent 7 nights at Dreams Tulum where we were taken advantage of with a scam of a "Vacation Club Membership" that they wouldn't allow me to cancel when I requested to do so and where I (and 15 of my family members/travel companions) contracted COVID-19! December 2020.

Let me start from the beginning.

We sat through the presentation honestly for the free gifts. After truly falling in love with the beautiful Tulum Dreams Resort, we were convinced to sit down further to discuss pricing with an upper manager. The man asked us many questions including; where we travel, how often, when, who we travel with, etc.

We answered the following:
*We travel 2-3 times per year and always with our young children and at least once a year with additional families creating a group of 18 or more!
*We tend to book "last-minute" vacations, sometimes within a few weeks of travel (they said we only needed 24 hours to book!)
*We go to Aruba once a year and they said that was "perfect" because they were building a BRAND NEW DREAMS Resort Property in Aruba! Knowing that the current all-inclusives there are only the Rui and the Barcelo, we were thrilled to hear this information !
We were VERY SPECIFIC that we *DO NOT TRAVEL during the NY Summer months because it is a very busy season for our business. (low season for this "Vacation Club".)
*We only travel on HOLIDAY WEEKS that are ALWAYS Thanksgiving, SPRING BREAK and often NEW YEARS. We were specific. We knew we needed to have these times and dates available to join any sort of vacation club because that is WHEN WE TRAVEL.

We crunched numbers and were shown all of the "deals" and offers they have available to us! These offers were on a vertical page on the left was Zoetry with the price $117 per person per night and went through all of the brands and landing on the Sunscape Resorts where the man wrote in $42 per person per night. The other resorts in the middle varied from $69 - $99 pp per night. He told us that children would be half price, but they often ran specials where children were FREE. He pulled up a beautiful, easy to manage website on a tablet and showed us how to navigate the site and how they were even currently running Thanksgiving Specials during PEAK TRAVEL TIMES with free children and adults only $42pp per night! The resort we were currently in was $62 per person, per night and he said $868 for a WEEK VACATION and FREE KIDS! We'd just need flights. Not too bad. We usually average $3500 for our family of 4 to an all inclusive because I am very savvy and find great deals. We also follow great deals and explore new destinations when a bargain presents itself ! Anyhow, the men explained we could bring up to 20 rooms with us when we travel. We'd always book the lowest category for ourselves and then be upgraded to the highest category possible! Meaning, at least one category higher upgrade at time of booking, but if something more (including penthouse suites) were available at the time of check-in, we'd be upgraded upon arrival. This seemed too good to be true, but they promised it wasn't! It was a perk and a privilege of being a member of the Unlimited Vacation Club.

Upon arriving home December 1, 2020, I started reading up on what we purchased on the internet and didn't think they were being honest or truthful. I had NOT RECEIVED a CONTRACT. I wanted to look over details, but all I could find were documents of problems online and on the Better Business Bureau ; giving them 1.3 Stars out of 5! So, I called first thing on December 2 in the morning to discuss. I was told "everything is okay and will be as promised. Don't worry." I explained my concerns, they told me I cannot access the website or anything until I have the concierge do a "Welcome Call" and we needed to set that up before I was eligible to login. I could call back if I have any questions AFTER the welcome call was completed. I still HAD NO CONTRACT to read the terms and they denied me when I asked for one.

I was overwhelmed with fear that we were swindled out of so much money. I was sure we were taken advantage of. But I also had a headache that was debilitating and I couldn't talk anymore. I drove myself to the walk-in clinic and was diagnosed positive with COVID-19 ! The next three weeks were HELL!

I was trying to take care of this complete MESS of the UVC, but could barely lift my head from a pillow. I was making phone calls, being disconnected, being delivered false promises of call backs, and worst of all LIED TO! We also had another vacation planned for my mother's 60th Birthday to Antigua for New Year's Eve! We were traveling with the same group of people who went to Tulum and 15 of the 18 of us who had contracted the Coronavirus on the Dreams Tulum property! And guess what? We needed to cancel our trip because COVID-19 can still come up as positive up to 3 months after a positive result! My mom's 60th Birthday on December 30th was going to be ruined, but I had the idea to try and use this "wonderful" vacation club we joined. We chose a new destination, Costa Rica, because they did not require a Covid test. We were all cleared by our health professionals to travel, but again, couldn't go to Antigua based on their Covid-travel restrictions. Attempting to use the Unlimited Vacation Club WAS EVEN WORSE than I could've imagined. The website was NOT user-friendly (as it had been on the Tablet in the conference room!), the prices were hundreds of dollars HIGHER per person than I was finding on Jetblue.com and other search engines, and I was overwhelmed with anxiety!

While researching new destinations, I also realized they LIED ABOUT ARUBA! Aruba was, in fact, NOT going to have a Dreams property where we could vacation using our UVC Membership with our children!

I immediately called UVC to get better pricing for the new trip we were planning and the prices that were shown to me were FRAUDULENT! Nothing resembled them. The representative said they recently updated that "user friendly" website so it no longer looks the same. This was UNBELIEVABLE! They LIED about pricing, they LIED about booking last minute, they LIED about our benefits. I BEGGED THEM TO CANCEL! But, they "couldn't cancel our membership" in the department I was in and they transferred me more times than I can count where I was DISCONNECTED EVERY TIME! When I finally did get someone on the phone days later, they said I would get a call from the Quality Assurance Dept. That number is not something you can dial! I TRIED MANY TIMES with no success! What I did receive phone calls from, were people DEMANDING MONEY! THREATENING ME. BULLYING ME! I demanded to cancel with every single phone call I got EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR WEEKS!

I need this cancelled. We cannot pay for a Vacation Club which we cannot use. The LIES UPON LIES and terrible mismanagement of a "Quality Assurance Department" that barely exists is FRAUD! They stole our money. They lied about Aruba even having a DREAMS Resort coming there! (Another MAIN SELLING POINT for our family!) It is actually a SECRETS Resort and our children (whom we specified that we always travel with!) are not allowed to stay on property because SECRETS is "ADULTS ONLY!" AGAIN, a BLATANT LIE!

The UVC salesman was dishonest and did not engage in truthful practices because he lied about how far in advance we would need to book to have access to "deals" and fabricated the resort that my family could travel to in Aruba. They do not follow through with their discount guarantees. The representatives lied about nearly all of our questions. They wrote down a bunch of misinformation and presented false advertising on their services. We never received any documents or copies of our contract. We have had multiple requests to pay additional fees, amounting to thousands of dollars, without having anything in hand.

We need our money refunded to the credit card company. I do NOT WANT to be contacted regarding payments any more! I do not want this affecting my life negatively any further. This is the most terrible organization of liars who take people's hard-earned money and try to make them pay extra for vacations when they promised luxury, ease of booking and discounts! We got nothing but COVID-19, long-haul Covid effects, and a headache.

Desired outcome: DEPOSIT REFUNDED and STOP DEMANDING future payments!!

Unlimited Vacation Club Fraud

The following six elements are generally required to prove the tort of fraudulent misrepresentation. After each condition, I have published anecdotal evidence to support fraud. I have requested full and speedy refund.

1. The defendant made a false representation or lied.
Three representatives were asked about a specific price range and all three separately verified our understanding of what we would pay for future vacations
2. The misrepresentation is material to the transaction.
Had we known the actual price of vacations, we would not have signed up for the membership
3. The defendant made the misrepresentation with malice (the defendant made the statement with knowledge that the statement was false or the defendant made the statement with a reckless disregard as to the veracity of the statement).
All three representatives all knew exactly what the lowest price was that we could be expected to pay for weekly vacations
4. The defendant made the misrepresentation with the intention of inducing the other party to enter into a contract.
Convincing us that our understanding of the price was a tangible motivation to get us to contract caused them to misrepresent the price.
5. The other party reasonably relied on the misrepresentation.
We could have verified that the price we understood was well below the actual price of future vacations by having appropriate access to the vacation club website. As we had five days to change our mind about the transaction, having access to this website would have rendered the deal dead. Instead, even though we asked for access to the website and were denied, we only got access three days after the fifth day, making it impossible to retract from the deal in an appropriate time. The act of denying access to the UVC website is a strategy to misrepresent the product.
6. The defendant's lie was the proximate cause for the plaintiff's injury.
Since the defendant lied about the price of future vacations, and since the defendant withheld critical information until it was too late to cancel the contract under normal conditions, and since these vacations would be unaffordable to us at the actual prices, potential injury is caused by paying upfront charges for services that were deceptively explained.

Resolution sought: full and complete refund promptly made.

Unlimited Vacation Club Membership Services Sales Reps

Unlimited Vacation Club membership services is a fraudulent company! Their sales reps approach you for an orientation on their VIP services. We took the orientation and we were promised X amount of free nights at their UVC Locations for up to 8 members, free yacht trips, and discounted flight tickets for an $XX, XXX.XX of USD. A hefty amount of US dollars!

Their sales associates promised us the moon and the stars and we got caught in their trap. They are complete LIARS on their sales pitches and they are taking advantage of tourists! They are SCAMMERS!

TOURISTS BEWARE! Do not sign up for any of these services! And if you do, Read your contract because what they pitch you in person is NOT what goes into the contract.

We are now caught in a he said she said situation and ultimately from what UVC management has informed us, the customer is WRONG and they do NOT care about making things right!

The hotel and UVC should be ashamed of themselves into tricking and taking advantage of their tourists. Secrets The Vine also gets a 0 for allowing these type of transactions in their hotels.

Desired outcome: Cancel my contract!!
