United Parcel Service of America [UPS]mishandling the package. Poor customer service

My package was supposed to be delivered to the address I have been at for the last 15 years. However, this time the driver "could not locate it".
When calling the UPS customer service it is extremely difficult to get through.
When I got lucky and got through, I have requested for the package to be re-delivered. The representative said "OK", but did completely different - put my package on "TO BE PICKED UP". No one ever apologized or extend any sort of sympathy.
I will avoid the UPS from now on as much as I could.
