United Motors / Unitrans Automotive engine

I have a 2014 Ford Explorer that I noticed a loss of antifreeze. I added some, started to smell antifreeze when driving and took it to a shop to have it checked out.

Apparently, I have a faulty water pump; no problem except that it is now an internal component of the Ford 3.5 engine. What that means is that a $200 repair becomes a $2000 repair. Let unrepaired, it can cause engine damage if it has not already.

Ford should take ownership of this faulty design and fix this issue.

United Motors / Unitrans Automotive damaged rubber seal strip on drivers door of mercedes benz x-class x 350d 4x4

I recently contacted Mercedes Benz dealership customer services department at Boksburg branch regarding my Mercedes Benz X-Class x 350d 4X4 and the lack of warranty cover available for the damaged rubber seal strip on the driver's door of the car in question.
It's important to note that at the time I detected the damaged door rubber seal strip, it was less than three months that I had taken possession of this new vehicle, I fail to understand as to why the dealer would refuse to repair these items under warranty.
I have enjoyed using various 4x4 competitor products and have not encountered this kind of negative customer service from your brand competitors such as, (e.g. Ford, Toyota and Isuzu), who I have proven to be a devoted customer for more than ten years before making the switch to try something new from Mercedes Benz .I enjoy driving the vehicle however decision to cancel and to return the bakkie is informed by the bad experience of wear and tear in a period of less than three months.
I am disappointed with the lack of interest I am receiving in regards to this issue; it certainly does not entice me to continue with the use of this vehicle going forward. The sales support that

I received with regards to my problem has been very poor, and I cannot accept to continue to be subjected to this type of attitude and terrible service.
Warranty on an issue of this nature is extremely important for a customer and should not be something we as consumers ought to be forced to dispute with the supplier.

This incident has left me with a strong, negative brand image of Mercedes Benz, one which is only highlighted by the fact that I don't feel my request is one so out of the ordinary. This issue should be included as a minimum when purchasing a vehicle of the stature of Mercedes Benz, thus staying in line with what your competitors offer for a similar problem.
In the light of above please be informed that I have taken the decision to return the vehicle as I do not feel comfortable with continuing to have this car in my possession because I anticipate more problems in the near future.
