The worst company ever. Called to have a specific area of my back lot sprayed with a herbicide. My first call to them was put on hold for 20 minutes and they never came back so I hung up. They called the next day and left a voice mail-I never responded. Third call from them I answered and requested a specific service of killing vegetation in my back lot where I had some trees cut down. I live in Gettysburg, PA.
They said the cost would be $99 and they charged my credit card. Got a text the next week that they would be out on Tuesday. Text them the same day and then again on Tuesday that I would not be available until after noon. Tuesday got a text that they would be at my house at 7:25AM. Again I text them and then decided to call them too. Got a voicemail that the office opens at 8AM. So how do I tell the technician (York, PA) who is going to show up at 7:25AM not to come until after noon? Oops, forgot to tell you we had a house fire so nobody would be there plus I had an 8AM doctors appt 14 miles away. After my doctors appt I stopped at the house (again-had a house fire on 5/17/2021) and found they did not spray the requested area but the technician in his ultimate wisdom decided I needed a lawn service which I never requested. So he sprayed my lawn instead. I wasn't even sure what or where he sprayed. Called Tru Green and got North Carolina. Told customer service rep that no one responded to my 2 texts and phone message and technican did not spray the area I requested and he (without authorization) decided to spray my lawn instead. Told them I am not paying for a service I did not request and will dispute the charge with my credit card company. Oh, and I also cancelled my request. Now waiting to hear about my refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

For those that use Trugreen beware. This is what my entire lawn looks like after they fertilized. I called to complain and they sent a technician out. His response, my manager said to keep watering and it will eventual go away. To avoid going to jail, I just kicked them off my property and cancelled their service. Of course they called and tried to offer all kinds of discounts. Why would I want a discount with service like this? Unbelievable. Several in my neighborhood have the same problem with them, all cancelling service. Needless to say, Trugreen sucks.

Proceeded to turn on red while i was driving straight and almost turned into us, proceeded to flip us off and act like it was our fault even though he almost hit us turning on a red light when ours was green.

I prepaid for over $1000 in prepaid service for two properties. I have not received a lawn application since april 20, 2021. I have been calling since mid june. Each side I hear the same sorry excuse…we will call you back…my manager is in a meeting…we have scheduled your treatment…all lies. What is the problem? My lawn looks horrible. I should put the sign "serviced by tru green" on my front lawn. I guarantee won't anybody be calling them. I want the promised service or my money returned now. I will never recommend prepaid service again.

My lawn looks absolutely terrible and is filled with crabgrass. I constantly call the hotline for service and I eventually get scheduled for a service then they NEVER show up and sometimes I'll get a cancel call. Last week I was canceled 6 days in a row they never showed up. Check my file so you can see the how many times I've called and how many cancellations why ? I have pictures which I posted on Yelp today showing my weeded lawn…… I want these weeds addressed immediately as I have a Wedding Party on July 30 in my backyard which looks like crap now. I pre-paid my TruGreen over $500 on 4/29/21 and on the 2nd visit they burned my backyard lawn, after speaking to a supposed District Manager who commented that it sounded as though I had a fungus and they would fix it. I said "absolutely not" I was done with TruGreen and he commented "ok" and hung up on me.
I want a refund of my balance which is:
Original Total $513.25(4/29/21) - Grub Treatment $31.75, Visit $52.42, Visit $52.42 = Remaining Total $376.66
I have sent them 3 e-mails now to no avail.

Destroyed my lawn. My lawn looked like carpet and TruGreen came out on Monday June 21, 2021 and sprayed chemicals on the front which turned my lawn brown. Last month they sprayed chemicals in the back which made my lawn turn brown in the back but the front stayed green.

I've called and left several messages with customer service and was advised I would have this matter addressed within 24-48 hours. It's been 4 days and no one will respond to my continued calls!

I'm out of money and my lawn is a mess! I work very hard to have a beautiful lawn and thus company has ruined all of my hard work

I will be filing a complaint against this company in small claims court due to their lack of follow through and destroying of my lawn

TruGreen lawn care told me that they would come back and complete a job that I paid for and are refusing to now because I am no longer a customer. I am no longer a customer because of the terrible job they have been doing. I paid for the service they should be completing and they are not. This is a terrible company, their customer service is terrible(if you can get a hold of anyone) and my lawn is now yellow and full of crab grass. I wish I would have read other reviews before signing up for their service and paying for 6 treatments on my lawn.

Signed up w/ Trugreen on 5/21 for initial (dandelion) weed control service on a pay as you go basis. House is being sold and made it very plain that I'd not be in need of product for more than a month or two.

Received basic weed kill on 5/26 - and another service - grub control - which I had NOT requested.

I want the grub control refunded - it's not necessary and I did NOT request it.

I went over the cost of their plan numerous times, even when the guy showed up to do it I was told that the total would be $143. But they charged me $287. When I asked why, they didn't have a reason. So I canceled the card, canceled the account, they lost. I run a business myself and I am very good with my customers. I never lie to them, if we can't repair what they send, we simply don't charge them. Shipping only. People need to start wising up because long-term relationships are always better than one time scams. But unfortunately, You get greedy idiots with a fourth grade education who can't figure out simple math sitting at the top coming up with stupid business decisions which ultimately destroy the company. Shame.

I have been waiting for True Green to repair my lawn that is yellow and full of weeds for over a month and half. For the past two years their service has been terrible. My lawn has never looked so bad. They keep promising that they are sending a technician to look at my lawn and offer a program to remedy the situation. No one has arrived at my residence yet. I am attaching several photos to illustrate the poor condition of my lawn.

Good results. ABYSMAL customer service. Truck will come early in the season, unannounced, whether you have paid for the year or not. If the first application doesn't happen then, it will be TWO MONTHS before the next application. When you call ANY numbers associated with TruGreen, [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]...etc.you will get the SAME customer service number where you will be put in purgatory for 1-2 hours. So you leave a call back number NEVER to be called back. PAID 3-25-21. First scheduled service was 4-26, then 5-3, then 5-5. Now the service date says "nothing scheduled". And like a fool I prepaid for the entire season earlier this year. It's interesting that if you press "new customer inquiries, they will pick up immediately. This company has a SERIOUS customer service problem.

Came out last July temperatures when in mid nineties us the sprayer on the grass which should of used the spreader so the grass burnt from the soaring temps . I told true green they sent the technician to look he agree with what he seen but never contacted me about the problem. I had to reseed in twelve area .so I'm at work my son calls me at work and told me they came out gonna be honest I were pissed off at the time so I called them and told them don't touch my yard again. Look like the customer should be first priority.

TruGreen, I want to know when my $186.00 AERATION & LIME SERVICE IS GOING TO TAKE PLACE? I am tired of not getting thru on the phone and being told to wait 45 minutes or more each time I call. SERVICE?

This is to let you know that we sold our house located at 112 savoy lane, cary, illinois 60013 on march 22, 2021. We tried to telephone true green that we will not need their service but their phone is always busy and here is that number which we tried two times: [protected]. We wrote them and the bill processing service sent us that same bill at our new address. We do not own that property anymore therefore we should not receive any bill for any service truegreed does at that property.
We are sending a copy of that bill to our property lawyer so that they can settle this matter.

We were customer with TrueGreen on one year contract (2020) unfortunately. They messed up with our lawn. We did complain and asked not to do any services without my consent. Due to bad and pathetic customer service, I did not renew contract with them so they came and did aeration without informing us even though contract was not renewed. They charged us and we paid and submitted dispute by my credit card company. TrueGreen was on fault and case resolved on my side. I got permanent credit on June 2020. Now on 2021, I getting letters from TrueGreen Deb collection department for that charges. It was mentioned in letter to call #5770 at [protected]. I called multiple times on this number and got same answer saying my account does not have any outstanding balance. As I was keep getting letters from deb collection department I asked rep to provide me proof or send email they said they can not. Then I requested if your supervisor or manager can call me because I was sure that I will be getting another letter for sure. But no one called me. I tried to call headquarters but it went to VM. No one reply me back. Send complain in their website no reply.

complaining about my backyard. the person who sprays does not go up to fence. he stops about 1-2 feet back allowing weeds to grow in un sprayed area.
