I was called by an individual from Trent Oaks Patterson Capital Management (TOPCM.com) and a lucrative investment was offered. I researched the opportunity, as well as the company - all looked above board. I decided to proceed and invested $10 000 USD, which was minimum amount. This was in 2018. I received share certificates etc. and received access to the website (www.topcm.com) with my own login details, and was regularly contacted with updates. The contact person eventually handed over to another and later another. In each case the person was very well spoken and very knowledgeable on the financial front. Later, another offer was put on table with which I could yield good returns. I invested a further $10 000 USD. It was when I wanted to withdraw some money, that the issues started. Firstly, I was unable to withdraw due to compliance issues with my account. I was told that the best would be to close the account, then re-open a new account, then do some further trades, then I would be able to withdraw funds. This was then actioned by my contact and further trades were made, but on the first new trade, there was a trade shortage of $2500 (approximately). I had to pay this to bring my account to zero, which I eventually did. The next thing they were going to repatriate my funds, but I got a phone call saying that the intermediary bank took some fees off, so the full $2500 did not arrive. The company is now migrating to Japan and there will be an additional $1000 migration fees. This is where we are stuck - hence may opinion that it is one great scam, and I should never have paid the last moneys.

This company is very professional scammers, and will probably turn around and say all is above board and that I just need to pay the outstanding money before my funds will be repatriated. They always come up with a slightly believable reason for you to pay in more money. I have been trying for more than a year to get my money back- no luck.

Below text copied from fixya website that i posted back in 2019 - i also posted in trustpilot website to create more awareness!

Beware! Trent Oaks Patterson Capital Management was confirmed a scammer site. (www.topcm.com)

They are a team of highly skilled scammer. They will called you up promoting some lucrative stock bla bla bla...

They masked their phone line and pay others to run so called 3rd parties news site claiming their business views, their location etc, In fact, all these site are managed by the same group of ppl. If you check their website age/location using "https:// who.is/" (free one). you will notice all those 3rd parties financial news site, including what they claim to be the international regulated escrow agent (stock transferring agent), you will notice that the age of the website is less than a year. By using common sense, you will know this is scam. What kind of escrow agent have less than a year company/website history.

continue the complete story here. somehow this website doesn't allow to post long post i guess..
