Travelocity Customer service/refund

flight on Condor originally scheduled I 2020. cancelled
Attempted to rebook for 2021. unable to go because of Covid.
Requested refund. Have spoken with 8 customer service people over 4 months. No resolution or follow-up.
Simply request a refund and will rebook at later date when travel his allowed.
Have used Travelocity in the past on numerous occaisions with no issues.
This has been the worst service I have ever received.

Travelocity Credit usage

Travelocity Lies! I have $2000 worth of flight credits for tickets booked through Travelocity using carrier American Airlines. I've called American Airline 3 different times to ask for the AA Airfare credit policy. The process goes as follows. Original ticket owner must rebook replacement ticket. Remaining balance is issued in the form of Travel Voucher. The Travel Voucher can be used on ANY traveler not on the original itinerary. Travelocity CLAIMS they "follow the policies of its travel partners and airline providers." BUT THEY DO NOT. The will NOT issue the remaining balance in the form of a travel voucher and they will NOT allow the remaining balance to be booked in any other traveler name. Travelocity claims that is AA policy. Its not. Call them! I challenge you Travelocity to call AA, conference me on the line so the truth can be heard. But of course, you won't do that. Instead you make me wait online for 7.5 hours for a rep to tell me you follow AA policies, when you don't! You cant get ahold of any human by email, FB messenger, Instagram messenger, or website chat tool. The worst customer service I have ever experienced and the fact that they openly lie online (it is stamped all over there website) should make every consumer run.

Travelocity Car rental under confirmation number 6090767987nu

I am so mad and since you do not stand behind your customer per NU car rental I will NEVER be using your service again. 15min after I made reservation I called and found out the MCO location is not at the airport and I have very bad experiences with doing off site car rental. I have no choice because it did not state off site it stated MCO which is the Orlando airport. I have used you prior and never had an issue. I just got a job where I will traveling a lot in 2022. I will no longer be using your service for any of my travel US or Internationality. Please see the email trail for the reason why. By the way still waiting 4 hours later for a return call.

I will keep my current reservation under 6090767987NU, you give me no other choice. However I will be putting in my complaint and will no longer be using Travelocity for future travel due this non cancelation policy. You should put you are an offsite from the MCO airport that was not noted anywhere in my reservation.

I hope I do not have any issues picking up my car due to flight delay or your driving being ill (which has happen to me before). I bill $30.00 an hour or any fraction for my time and inconvenience due to your business practice.

We will see how it goes on May 28 thru June 3rd. I will call when I get to the airport at 10:45pm for the shuttle per your instruction. Hopefully your cars are not dirty and old where I will have issues while on my trip in Florida.

I am very unhappy so far with the dishonesty in your company. I travel a lot for busines so we will see how you do from your competitors.

No where did it say you are off site from MCO (which is the airport code for direct rental at the airport). You should advised you are off site, we have had horrible experiences with renting off site and do not wish to book anything like that.

Travelocity Mistake in rebooking after flight cancelation

My itinerary is7465843140649. My latest case number is S-[protected]. My husband and I have over $1470 in airline credit on Aeromexico from flights that were canceled by them in April, 2020 due to the pandemic. I booked these flights through Travelocity and was told that I had to use the credit on Travelocity. I was told I had to book new flights using the credit by May, 2021, so I tried to book flights to San Francisco with Travelocity using the chat and their agent Sabrina on April 6th. After 3 hours with Sabrina and after having repeatedly given her the flights I wanted and telling her I wanted Confort Class, which is what Aeromexico calls business class, she said that is what she booked for us. I asked if it was Confort and she said "Of course!" On that day on Travelocity and even 2 days later, the flights I booked on Confort class cost $846 a piece and were available. She said it would be $1090, which I knew was more, but I was tired and said OK since that was covered by our credit and it was 11 p.m. She confirmed and said I'd receive a confirming email the next day.
On April 7th I received the confirmation of the correct flights but the reservation said Economy instead of Confort. The economy seats she booked us by mistake only cost $300 a piece and were not what I requested.I did not want to use $1470 in credit for $300 tickets! I immediately contacted Travelocity on Chat to let them know of their mistake. I talked on Chat to Sindhu. I used Chat because it takes 3 hours to get someone to answer the phone at Travelocity. Sindhu told me this would be resolved within 24 hours. This was April 7th. I hadn't heard anything by April 8th and reconnected with Travelocity Chat on April 8th. I first talked to Raven, who cut the communication, and then i talked to Irma, who treated me nicely but said they would resolve it, that she put the case as urgent and gave me case number S21757392. She said I'd be contacted within 24 hours. That day I received an e mail from Mae O. saying they were contacting the airline. On April 9th I got another e mail form Joana Q. saying they were still working on it and it would be resolved in 24 hours. I contacted both of these people by email on April 10th, but they never answered me. On April 12 or 13th, having still received no answer, I contacted Travelocity on Chat and talked to Karla .
She tried to help and said it would be resolved within 28 hours and said she put an urgent mark on it. She gave me a second case number S84312786.
I waited more than 48 hours and then called Travelocity today (April 15th). After 2 hours I finally talked to Sindhu, who tried to help me but said that Confort class was now too expensive (the prices have gone up since April 6th). She gave me yet another case number (see above) and I requested to talk to her manager. She said he wasn't available and couldn't give me a name but that he would call me within the hour. It's been 3 hours and no call, no e mail or anything. She confirmed that yes, it was their mistake but that she herself couldn't correct it.
I have spent over 15 hours contacting Travelocity and have been completely ignored. The agents are nice but have not resolved the issue and I feel that the company is just waiting for me to go away. I have been promised answers 4 or 5 times now and nothing has happened. The tickets are now much more expensive than they were on April 6th, and that is why Sindhu says she couldn't help me, but the mistake was made by the first Travelocity agent-not by me. I feel they are stealing over $2300 of our airline credit, as they booked only $600 of airline tickets with our $2943 credit. I have not been informed if I can use the rest.
Without business (confort) class, I will have to pay extra to reserve better seats on the plane and to pay for each suitcase. This is ridiculous having paid Travelocity $2943! I have screen shots of all the Chat conversations. I can send them if necessary, but I know Travelocity has them already.
I have never seen such poor customer service. Their agents seem to be trained to say, wait, we'll help you soon, but nobody is helping.

Desired outcome: I want Business (Confort) class tickets on the round trip ticket to SFO or credit for $2300 (hotels or flights.

Travelocity Travelocity travel confirmation - Apr 10 - (Itinerary # [protected])

We booked the hotel from travelocity and received the confirmation email.
We booked in advance as it was Saturday and not so many hotels would be available.

We fully trusted travelocity and believed our room would be secured, however when we went to the hotel we booked from travelocity at 10pm after sightseeing and tired looking for some rest, the hotel receptionist just told us there were no room available and he said he had already told Travelocity . We didn't even get informed by Travelocity even after the trip. Instead Travelocity just emailed and asked the feedback of the hotel.

Since it was Saturday 10pm, we had hard time looking for a hotel to stay . We finally found the hotel available but it was terrible, we had to pay $100 more than we planned, waisted a couple hours looking for a new hotel and driving while we were very tired and it was almost midnight when we got to the new hotel.

This experience was totally not acceptable and I think travelocity should have informed us if there was no room available.

Travelocity Canceling car rental

I am so frustrated. I reserved a car on Monday, April 12 for a trip at the end of the month. As soon as I hit the confirm button, I received an email from family telling me that the trip had to be canceled. I immediately called a Travelocity. I waited on hold for one hour. Then I called back and chose the option to none called back. I never received a call back. I tried the virtual assist and and was told I could not get a refund. I called again on Tuesday and repeated the same routine. It is now Ednesday and o am no closer to getting assistance. I am having a hard time trying to figure out why I would ever use or recommend Travelocity again.

Desired outcome: I would like to get a refund. My family has always used Travelocity and I am so disappointed and frustrated.

Travelocity Flight booking

I booked a flight with American Airlines thru Travelocity.com a week ago on March 27, 2021. My credit card was charged and Travelocity.com reflected the trip. AA.COM states I do not have any current reservations. A check of Travelocity.com sometimes confirms this trip and sometimes has no record of it. I was kept on hold for 4 hours and 40 minutes before I gave up trying to contact them. At this time I have no idea of the status of this trip scheduled for Apr 24-27.

Travelocity Getting ahold of customer service about an itinerary.

The wife and I planned a trip to Hilton Head Island thru travelocity. The wife did not travel due to Covid symptoms. My connecting flight into Hilton Head was late due to inclement weather and the rental car service was closed. (Avis) Summary...I paid $888 for the trip. The wife did not travel and I did not get a rental car. I am not too concerned about the air travel but i would like to be reimbursed or a voucher for the car that I did not use.

Desired outcome: voucher for a rental car that I never used.

Travelocity Refunds/booking

We had to rebook due to Covid a year ago. We tried to rebook about 8/2020 but they never book for them. Now 2 weeks before travel Delta told us Travelocity never paid. Now we have get tickets that are much more expensive and maybe unavailable even!

Desired outcome: Paid the same price that we would have paid in 8/2020

Travelocity Flight using credits

I am trying to schedule a trip from Seattle to Las Vegas using credits of tickets I had already purchased. After spending two and a half hours on chat yesterday I was hung up on and then spent three hours scheduling the trip today. I received a phone call from customer service and after talking to rep for an hour was informed they could not find the reservation and had to have someone call me back! I am now on hour 9 of trying to use two of my credits- I have 2000 dollars more that I still need to use- if this is what I have to do with my money I have already spent- I want a refund in cash- the customer service rep has given me no phone number or email to contact someone (other than the computerized phone number). I need a phone call ASAP about this!

Travelocity A refund issue

I planned a trip for 4/2020. On 12/2019 I had booked with travelocity. I canceled trip due to covid19. Travelocity said they would refund me my $2, 297.20 which as of 3/2021 I still not have. I checked with my credit card co. They said no credits so contact travelocity but unsuccessful. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com.

Travelocity Trip

I recieved an email on 1/28 that my flight has been cancelled amd wanted to know if I wanted to cancel the trip or see alternatives flights and to respond back to the email so I did asking for alternative flight. That direct thread didn't have any respones but on 1/30 I did recieve an email stating that flight have changed and essentially had a comparable flight there. Thus I thought the issue was solved. Forward to today and I check the itinerary and we didn't have the connecting flight home. So, I messaged your customer service people and they fixed that problem. I asked them why I wasn't informed and all they could tell me is that it wasn't a Travelocity problem but an AA problem and that we emailed you about it. First of all, my direct business is going to Travelocity and not AA so any issue I have with these flights or hotels is also a Travelocity problem. Secondly, I made it clear that I was informed there was a change but a change was made to correct that email so how was I supposed to know there were more issues? I'm am just shocked that your company would leave your customers stranded like you almost did. How many of your customers don't check their itenary before hand 50-75%? If I didn't check it today we would have been left at Chicago or maybe would have had those tickets revoked so we would have been stuck in Boston because of your companies negligence.

For the record the email specifically said this, "Do you want us to look for alternative flight options?

Please respond to this email and let us know if you would like us to look for an alternative flight option."

Travelocity Travelocity robbing us of over $1100 during a pandemic.

We had to cancel our trip last July 2020 because of COVID-19. Although there is a GLOBAL PANDEMIC THAT NO ONE COULD HAVE PREDICTED going on, Travelocity seems oblivious to this or simply does not care! The fabulous people at Travelocity, kept me on hold, hung up on me and wasted my time for over 3 HOURS! Different reps gave conflicting information. All I was trying to do was re-book my trip with the use of my airfare "credit." Guess what?! After 3 hours of talking to dead end reps, turns out my credit is conveniently "expired" now. Yet my Travelocity account reflects the "credit" and even shows a button that says "use credit." It doesn't say "expired" anywhere on there. What about an email warning customers about an approaching expiration date? NOPE! That's too high an expectation for Travelocity to meet. So even during a GLOBAL HEALTH CRISIS Travelocity offers no flexibility, courtesy, compassion or even professionalism. They expect you to follow a rigid policy that doesnt take into account the current COVID-19 crisis. They are keeping all of our money which is over $1100! They said I shouldve booked my trip by January 2021, while the pandemic was still HIGH RISK! They dont care about their customers. Once they have your cash they are DONE with you! I will never, ever use them or any of their partner companies again! All the victims should post on their social media to bring more attention to these scammers. #boycotttravelocity

Travelocity Cancelled flight, stalling on refund

Emails and call backs from 15 Jan 2021
Travelocity won't process an exception for a refund. States Virgin Airlines won't return email however I have 3 emails back from Virgin stating that Travelocity needs to refund. Travelocity won't provide proof that Virgin has was contacted. Three times Travelocity has stated it has contracted its "back end" and "specialized department" and that if no response from Virgin it would process and exception for a refund. Each time called back I'm provided the same stall and to call back in a week. Prices have gone up several hundred dollars and the same story is used -to call back. Travelocity is holding my booking and money hostage and stalling until the prices go up to be prohibitive to travel and it holding up my ability to make other travel and lodging reservations.

Travelocity Original airline no longer flies to destination and can't use flight credit

Sir/Ma'am,

ITINERARY # [protected]

1. I am requesting a full refund of my flight credit as Virgin Airways no longer reflects flights from SLC to BIO and the delays are resulting in higher flights costs and the dates of travel window availability.

2. Complaint on substandard customer service from Travelocity.

I have a flight credit for a 2020 flight paid for to Travelocity and carrier was listed as Virgin Atlantic. I have been trying for months now to reschedule my flight and am told that there are no flights via Virgin however it does list Delta and the other carriers that were originally listed as the travel providers for the Virgin Airways flights.

After several phone calls to Travelocity with no recourse if appears that I can see that there are no flights offered by Virgin from any other major sites from SLC to BIO from [protected] thru [protected] (Travelocity, Priceline, Expedia, Cheapflights, etc.).

A full refund is requested as Virgin cannot fulfill, offer, nor honor flights paid for.

Please note that Delta cancelled however it reflects that I cancelled. As I understood it, Virgin Airlines didn't communicate at all during the original flight times.

Called 1/26/2021 1800 hours - no name - after 1 hour told Supervisor would call back at 2100 hours - no call back

Called 1/27/2021 to Carlos. Tried for 1.5 hours for various dates (30 different dates provided) He said he would file a claim and I would receive email that would take 72 hours. No email - no claim

Called 2/1/2021 1410 hours to Ronald - said he didn't have an ID number. After 1 hour he said he would file a claim (#S#[protected]) and I'd be emailed and provided a status in 72 hours.

Desired outcome: Full refund

Travelocity Travel package

I purchased a travel package to Montreal Itinerary #7535435317082. Depature 1/7/2021 Return 1/21/2021, It included a flight with Airtransat to Montreal, a 14 night stay at Hotel Abridu Voyager and a return flight on Air Canada.

I paid $806.49 to Travelocity for this package. My flight to Montreal was canceled by Airtransat and I can not as a result go to Montreal,

The problems are as follows. Fraud was committed by Travelocity. They used my credit card to purchase the tickets for Airtransat and Air Canada. I made no purchase from either airline and did not authorize either one to have my credit card information. The balance was charged by Travelocity for the hotel.
The facts are clear that all three charges are credit card fraud since I authoried no charges to Airtransat or Aircanada and not to Travelocity in the amount charged.

The second problem is the flight to my destination that I Purchased from Travelocity was canceled. I called travelocity with questions abou my trip. It was then that I was told that I had no flight to Montreal. When I asked for a refund the answer was no for 2 reasons. The first it was not Travelocities fault that Airtransat canceled the flight. The second was that I chose two different airlines to travel. The confirmation states that We [we being Travelocity] gave you 2 different airlines so you get the best price. Three days later after my call Travelocity finally sent an emai lthat my flight to Montreal was canceled. Airtransat advised Travelocity that the flight was canceled about a month before my call.

The facts are simple. Travelocity has committed credit card fraud. Travelocity has sold a travel package and is not providing the service sold. Travelocity is a scam. It is my firm conviction that travelocity did not advise me of the flight cancelation because the wanted to claim that it was all my fault so they could steal all the money,

Travelocity Changed dates of travel to dates I cannot use, did not change hotel reservations, refuses to issue refund

I purchase a 'vacation' including air travel, hotel stay, and shuttle services to and from the airport. The origination point was RDU and the destination was CUN.

The original departure date from RDU was December 6. The return date was Dec 13. They changed these dates to Dec 5 and Dec 12 for the AIR TRAVEL ONLY. ...leaving me sleeping in the streets of Mexico on Dec 5. When I tried to get them to put me up somewhere else for the first and last day, at their expense since it was their changes that brought this about...they literally laughed at me. Trying to get a refund for the entire trip has been a waste of time.

I want a complete and prompt refund.

Travelocity Travel package

After I was given the price of $545.00 for a travel package to Orlando, Florida, I provided my credit card card information, as requested. Then, the company Travelocity changed the price to $611.00 alleging that the price had just increased. Later, I found out that Travelocity and Expedia had charged me in excess of $1200.00
I called the company immediately, however, they stated that I had to wait at least 3 days for the problem to be resolved.
It seems to me that this false advertisement . They offer a price which they immediately change in order to overcharge you for the package initially offered.
Two of my friends had the same issue and bad experience with Travelocity/Expedia.

Travelocity Flight credit

Mar 15 2020 our trip to usa had to be cancelled due to boarder closures taking affect that weekend. I was told no refunds. Insurance is void even though it was for "any reason". My flight credit would be held in credit to use over the next 2 year. But they won't let me use the credit. I just tried to book a flight that is listed at $579 and they say that I need to pay $599 cash plus $499.99 in credit. We have 2 travelers. That is $1100 per ticket... For a one hour flight that everyone else on the plane only paid $579. They are citing that we have to have an upgraded seat (not what we paid for originally) and free luggage (also not on original purchase) (I also get free luggage already). Itinerary [protected]. I just want to use the credit - even the same airline but without their criminal extra charges.
