Travelgenio bad customer service!!!

I have called multiple times today 08/01/2018 to change a booking and have been hung up on 3 times. I am absolutely disgusted! All I've requested is to change a flight date to an earlier date and the first consultant hung up on me without saying anything, second consultant did the same thing. Third consultant hung up during completing the change and the fourth consultant hung up on me when I asked to speak to someone higher. I have already wasted money calling you 4 or more times and have wasted so much time being placed on hold and all I want to do is to simply to change a flight.

Travelgenio refund payment

travelgenio confirmed my booking last dec 30, 2017 and when they charged me twice in my card for my payment travelgenio cancelled my booking.now untill now i am asking for the refund i dont still receive any from travel genio they just kept email back at me that already processed and payment will be in my card for the following days.its almost 6days why untill now nothing even email.pls i am asking help to get my full money refund 78, 000+ pesos which i need it badly.thank you

Travelgenio my ticket

Dear Sir,
Booking reference No. FNDYHS.
I wish to make a formal complaint regarding your customer service and supplying information to passengers, when booking flights with your agency.
I booked a flight from Cairo to Birmingham international return,
Flight No. KL2285KLM, I asked about having an Egyptian passport and would i need a visa to Paris, I was told NO.
When arriving at Cairo airport to check in for the above flight, i was told I was unable to travel due to the flight stopping at two European destinations before arriving at Birmingham airport, I would also like to point out that a further 2 other passengers were also declined from the flight due to the same reason having been giving the same information I had received. when speaking to your agency after several attempts, I was given the sharp response of ( sorry cannot refund or put you on another flight ).
I found this attitude of your agents disgraceful, and it would appear reading the reviews on your Web-page I am not the only one.
I am seeking full compensation with a full refund for this flight.
I will expect a replay to this complaint within 7 days.

Travelgenio travelgenio has the worst customer service, they actally does not even have one!

I bought a ticket from Travelgenio months ago and my flight was delayed. The airline company emailed me saying that I can get the refund from my agency. I emailed them about the issue they said they will make the refund in a few weeks. It's been more than a month and refund is not made. I have been emailing them for more than 3 weeks and they totally ignore my emails. I so regret that I made the purchase from this agency for a few bucks cheaper price. Never again!

Travelgenio charges to my credit card

There was a charge of $101.78 to the U of I credit union card of David Seyler for a ticket for Noah Adamson on the dates of 11/22 (transaction date) and 11/23 (post date). We tried to purchase this tickets over a week prior and the website said this transaction did not go through so we paid for a different ticket on another website. The card account did not show any transaction for over a week until the 23rd, which was the date of traveling. Another transaction was done on the Capital One card of David Seyler for a ticket for Noah Adamson. This transaction was on 11/26 (the day of return) for $89.59. When we tried to check in with this ticket it said the ticket did not exist so we were forced to buy another ticket for nearly twice the price ($165.74). We are disputing these two charges and would like to have credit for the additional charges we were forced to pay.

Travelgenio luz in customer service!!!

This lady was very rude and couldn't even answer a simple question as how long does the refun process take! I booked flights to Auckland from Brisbane and payment came out of my account only to get a email 4hours later saying they couldn't confirm our ticket so we have to pay more for our flight! Which I was not happy about because when I went back to the website the airfare had dropped from $219 to $217 and said there were still 9seats remaining? But yet travelgenio advises they couldn't get me flights that they had taken money out of my account for, so I asked Luz if there's an issue why is the price dropping but yet there is nothing on website ect advising that there is an issue because customers should be aware before purchasing tickets and it would also save them time from doing so many refunds but she got very defensive told me they didn't take my money? But then why is it out of my account with your company's name all over it? and then she said "okay that's enough! We are giving you money back okay" I asked for her manager or supervisor or someone higher then her and she said "no ones here, have a good night" and then hung up the phone! By this time I was very angry! All she need to do was to advise me that they will do something about the glitch or atleast let their customers know about what's going on. I am very upset and angry at the way this lady handle the call she was very very rude and was not confident in what she was tell me which made me feel more unsettled. Please fix or atleast let customers know about what happening and remind luz that shes the face of the company she needs to listen to the customer thats why its called customer service cause her attitude was not very nice! Will not be using travelgenio every again

My return flight from Amsterdam to Switzerland was cancelled, I was rebooked by the Airline 3 times - the flights were all cancelled.

When trying to organise a 4th one I was informed Transport would not be possible until the 13th - which was too late - I could organise alternative Transport BUT a refund for my return flight would need to be processed on line.

When I tried to do this it was not possible. I have spent many HOURS on the phone being sent backwards and Forwards from Airline to travelgenio. All calls I will also be billed for!

I have been informed by the airlines, KLM and SWISS that Travelgenio - as the travel Agent - is responsible for administering my refund.

Please proceed to do so ASAP. I am very frustrated with the poor levels of customer Service. I have had to waste much of time on hold and honestly I AM SICK OF IT. Please help to bring the responsible People to Action.

Travelgenio payment

Hi,
t took me lots of time and means to find the contact email for enquiries. Your webpage didn't allow me to check on customer service.

I just booked my ticket last night.
The final money I paid was different from the money I was suggested on the website at first. I learned the service was charged after I finished my payment. I think the service fee must have been indicated before the payment was made. I even went back where the money around $50 came from but couldn't find and I just proceeded to the payment thinking it must be something about tax.
Also, I didn't put any of my passport information. Although I have eticket with me now, I am slightly worried of its validity without my passport's information.

Travelgenio unauthorized use of my credit card

Hi,
I received a credit card bill for a charge on my credit card for a service I did not use. On the 29th of October last travelgenio took 15 euro out of my credit card. I did not use your service therefore this is theft. Should I not be refunded within 28 days I will be making a formal complaint. Please refund my account now.

Travelgenio unauthorized deduction of 12k amount from the debit card.

Yesterday evening around 4.18PM IST, an amount of Rs 11749 has been debited from my debit card through Travelgenio site, Madrid and for the same I got the message in my registered mobile number. But during all my transactions I used to get OTP in my registered mobile number but for this I have not received any OTP but amount of Rs 11749 has been debited. I checked my mini statement as well. But the transaction has not been done by us.

So we want to understand how this transaction happened along with the details of the user since the incident happened through Travelgenio website.

Hope we will get positive response and support us.

Resolution:
Provide the complete transaction details of this.

Sure I will send a mail to this ID:customer.service@travelgenio.com regarding the fraud which happended through the travelgenio site. Actaully I don't have the booking details since I am not the person who booked the tickets from your site but amount transaction has been done from my debit account.So I need your support to provide the details of the user who has did something from your site using my debit card since I got a message of amount deduction of Rs11759 from Travelgeni, Madrid.

Because I believe if user do some booking from any 3rd party, the vendor must have all the details of the user- UserName, MailID, PhoneNo. etc. Please provide the details of the fraus user to the ID:pratirupmondal10@gmail.com who has used my debit card for transaction. I received a message around 16.18PM IST.

Hope I will get the details of the user who did malicious activity from your site.

Dear Madam/Sirs, on 28.10.2017 I was trying to reserve 4 tickets from Las Palmas to Sal, but payment didn't go through because of rejection on my credit card. But you did charge me a sum of 18, 91€ for, to me unknown reason. Please send me explanation (and Invoice for this amount) and return the improperly invoiced amount. After that, i will try to reserve another 4 tickets. Thank you. Best regards.

Travelgenio forget to inform the passenger that it is without luggage

Hi,
I booked a ticket trough Travelgenio.in the airport at the check in they said "you are not allowed luggage" you have to pay 60 € each way. I was in a shock. I never got the opputunity to choose if I wanted luggage or not when I booked the ticket. When I called them to complain they said "yes madame, you get the information when you have booked"? Seriously after paying 10 E for using credit card too!
The ticket was booked for a trip 30.09.2017 -06.10.2017 in Europe.
I of course want a refund of my 120 € spend on extra payment for luggage. I do understand there is trips without luggage, but here I never got the choice which is the main issue here.

Travelgenio payment for credit card

My name is Tadashi Momma.(Japanese) but Live in Bangkok now
I tried make reservation through Internet around 22:00 PM 12th of Oct 2017 in Bangkok.But, your approve time was so long time for credit card and I did cancel for this reservation.
Following is my record for transaction of reservation.
When I input data for Credit card, I made mistake for the card holder name .I should use my name TADASHI MOMMA but insert traveled name.[YU-CHUAN TSAI] on my credit card. Thus, I tried to change my name in order to get approval from credit card company. But can't change name.
That's why I thought my reservation was not valid and cancelled my reservation.
However, this morning 13th Oct 2017, I found out that my original reservation was approved by your company and VISA card company .

Since last night, it takes a long time to get approval/confirmation for my reservation, YU-CHUAN TSAI made reservation with her own credit card for the same flight [from Bangkok to TOKYO return flight].and she got confirmation immediately.

Travelgenio air ticket

I booked flight ticket from Moscow to delhi, in the next 2 days i receive the email that 'your flight ticket was cancelled by your airlines'. I called them and ask to put ticket in flexible with 1 week, they said that ticket is not available.then I requested them to refund the amount I called them much more time no correct response, nearly 5 months passed i still didn't receive my money.and also they are not responding well.

Travelgenio airline ticket purchased from travelgenio.com

I purchased an international round trip ticket and a month later I received an email stating that a change had been made and my failing to contact them would mean I was ok with the change. That's when the issue started: can't communicate by email or their portal with Travelgenio (they don't give you that option), and their tel. no's don't work... go figure. Now what? I have my nephew stranded in NY with a flight removed from his trip to my home town in US. Very disappointed and concerned.

Travelgenio vuelo

El día 18 de mayo de este año compre un pasaje con destino París (Charles de Gaulle) - San Francisco( Estados Unidos).
A lo largo de este tiempo, mi pasaje sufrió distintas variaciones, desde escalas de 25 horas, hasta cambio de día.
El pasaje final que travelgenio había determinado era desde París a Berlín luego Dusseldorf para finalizar en San Francisco y de retorno la misma ruta

El día de hoy (10/5/2017)al ver mi pasaje en la página me entero que mi vuelo se había visto nuevamente modificado con una ruta de París a Berlín y luego Dusseldorf ( osea el destino final que era San Francisco no existía ). NO he recibido ninguna comunicacion por parte de TRAVELGENIO indicando los cambios. Me comuniqué con ustedes vía mail, vía telefónica, me recomendaron enviar mails a airberlin - solucion que es inaceptable al ser Ustedes los compradores de los productos con AirBerlin. Hasta el dia de hoy no hay solucion por parte de ellos ni por parte de ustedes. Su respuesta simplemente fue que debo esperar. Respuesta que es INACEPTABLE. Necsito se de solución inmediata al problema. Lo contratado fue Francia - San Francisco USA- Ida y Regreso. De no ser asi comenzare por medio de American Express Legal el proceso de transacción fraudulenta por el no cumplimiento del contrato.
Espero en un plazo de 48 hrs - PLazo mas que suficiente para tener una solución de mi viaje de Paris a San Francisco.
Esperando una positiva solución para ambas partes sin requerir procedimientos legales . PAOLA OYARZUN MUÑOZ

Travelgenio cancelled flight

Hi,

My name is Naomi Balfe and I recently booked a flight home through this travel agency and I had honestly the worst experience I have ever had travelling. I was due to fly home Havana on the 30th of September to Paris. My flight was cancelled I received no email, NOTHING, from this company, NOTHING even about my flight even if it wasn't cancelled. I went into the Cuban airport and they had no idea what I was talking about. I had no flight home, they were telling me I needed to get in touch with ny travel agency but of course how could I when I received no correspondence from you. I have stranded in Cuba for 2 days and I have no idea how I am going to get home. I also missed my connecting flight home becauee of this. You can be sure that this travel agency, if you can even call yourself that, will be paying compensating me for this, they will be paying for my new flights and the accomodation I will of course have to pay for in Paris while I sort getting home from with money I don't have.

I already wrote a complaint here, I was told to write to customer service which I did. Now this company have decided to ignore me. Please please tell me if I'm on that flight tomorrow. I can't be stuck in Cuba for anu longer. I have no money I cant afford another flight. I need the people in this company to actually to do their jobs. Please Please don't send me an automated reply.

Travelgenio flight cancellation refund

I had cancelled a Brussels Airlines booking through the booking agent Travelgenio 3 weeks before flight with
PNR- KXSY85
Ticket No.- [protected]
Travelgenio Booking Code- PQWR68
Travelgenio claim that flight is not cancellable since base fare is less than cancellation penalty. On being asked for refund of taxes which are more than 400 euros they claim Brussels airlines claim taxes are also not refundable.
Brussels airlines claim only penalty of 190 euros plus service charge and YR tax would be deducted and balance 320 euros has been refunded to Travelgenio. On being asked for email certificate they sent an email with all details and amount to be refunded.
After forwarding this email not once but twice to Travelgenio still have not received a response or refund or proof saying airline has refused to refund taxes.
On numerous occasion calls were made to customer care. They make you wait 20-30 mins each time (sometimes even cut the calls) and say they will take 3-5 days to contact the airline.
Its been 2 weeks and still no proof of what Travelgenio claims. The airline has repeatedly given email certificates to prove their claim

its been a month and still travelgenio hasnt provided proof of communication with Brussels airline or disbursed the refund amount. They keep on saying airline has not yet processed the refund whereas the airline has said full refund amount was refunded 1 month back itself.

In response to the previous comment I spoke to Travelgenio again. I requested any proof that an agreement exists that shows YQ tax is not refundable to the travel agent.
Carlota - the customer care agent mentioned that she spoke to the airline herself and that the agreement exists but cant share. After requesting any proof she said another department would reply and that she cant do anything further. She said the airline might say that the tax is refundable to the passenger directly and not to the travel agent.
After this I spoke to the airline again (this is the eight time). The airline again said that there is no such agreement with Travelgenio or any other travel agent that the YQ tax is not refundable. They have always shared email proof of the refund charges and ticket rules. They said that the money has already been refunded to the travel agent and to contact them for the refund.
Expect a response on this

After posting this complaint travelgenio sent me an email saying the YQ tax is not refundable. Their reason was that the airline would not refund the tax. After forwarding this email to the airline their response was that is not true and the YQ tax is refundable. Travelgenio still hasnt provided any proof of their communication with the airline. Awaiting any proof since the airline is still contradicting what travelgenio claims. This is the third such instance for 2 & a half weeks. No resolution on this matter still.

I've just booked the flight MU 2071 from Beijing to Bangkok on May 24, 2019 for Mrs.Kamornwan Daoprakaimongkol. But there was some problems that make she cannot fly as the schedule. Can we refund the ticket? What should we do to refund the ticket? If it is possible, how much we will receive the refund money?

Travelgenio changing ticket due to court

Hello, our family bought tickets from Travelgenio turn-return from Helsinki, Finland DEC 15th to Lagos, Nigeria and back from Lagos JAN 15th, using Turkish Airlines.

Unfortunately, I have to go to court on 19-20.12 so I have to change date of departure for myself and our daughter (my husband can fly as planned). So I called Travelgenio to please change my ticket. Unfortunately a lady told me that there are no flights left by Turkish airlines and that my only option would be to buy NEW TICKETS BY ANOTHER AIRLINE from Helsinki to Nigeria. So I bought new tickets for myself and my daughter AGAIN THROUGH TRAVELGENIO using SAS this time, departuring from Helsinki on 30.12 as that date was still a bit reasonable price.

Today I called TRAVELGENIO to check everything was in order and to my amazement a lady told me that I can't use the ticket BACK FROM NIGERIA JAN 15th as Turkish Airlines will automatically cancel my ticket back as I am not able to use the ticket from Helsinki on the 15th.

So first I was told to buy NEW TICKETS from another airline when going and now today I am told I can't use the tickets back. We would like to travel back as a family, like we had planned.

Another complaint is that today I talked to three different ppl as phone was cut and one of them still unseated everything is okay and I can use my Turkish Airline tickets with my daughter (then 1 year old when we are flying). So please how is it?

Another major complaint would be that today one of the customer service ppl named George told me that actually there are available Turkish Airline tickets but there is something wrong with the system so he can't change tickets but I can call back in one month (?) to change the ticket.

Now I feel the easiest thing would be that I fly with SAS on the 30.12 with my daughter and that Turkish Airlines is asked to make an exception and NOT CANCEL TICKETS BECAUSE CUSTOMER'S COURT. Anyways I am not even asking for ANY REFUND from either TRAVELGENIO or Turkish Airlines and we have already used much money because of what this. I was only FOLLOWING WHAT I WAS ASKED TO DO and customer service did not give me correct information. Then it should not be clients fault. Thank you. Our booking nr are 6906879 and 475RZA
