I sold a Chanel bag on tradesy and was forced to take it back 62 days after it was delivered ..The claim it was not authentic ..
I should mention that I have sold over 2000 items on eBay over the past 10 years and I have had nothing but Perfect feedback, , Not good, Perfect
I had this bag authenticated by a reputable online authentication site, Tradesy also authenticated it as their claim to fame is they authenticate items within 48 hours of listing
But, I am not even disputing whether the bag was fake or not
My complaint is this happened 62 days after the bag was Delivered
They pulled the proceeds from another large sale I made and they took the entire proceeds from that sale, which was $110 more than I received from the sale of the Chanel bag . They also did not refund me the $170 commission they made on the Chanel bag ..
Of course my lawyer suggested I take them to smalls claim court as he believes it is a slam dunk case and I don't even need his assistance ..
He also believes Tradesy will get hit with a few fines as they clearly have broken the law with their actions ..
Shame on you Tradesy ...

From march 2018 until present july 2018 this shabby tiny company run by 3 people-primarly- tracy dinunzio-has
solicited me over 200 times for clothes, bags, goods, etc...
It is so over the top-a nightmare of 'unasked for' contact..
There days and nights are spent chasing buyers and sellers down -
many of their goods are not authentic-
i have a blog of reviews for on-line retail purchases, travel sites nationally..
With over 78, 000 follwers i review for a fortune 500 group.

sold wedding dress / waiting for money
Sold a wedding dress through Tradesy- the dress was in perfect condition and never altered. Tradesy quickly took their cut (a ridiculously large cut that no other selling site takes that much)...they're charging me for not using the funds on Tradesy?
I'm currently still waiting for the funds to transfer to my account. I filled out all forms correctly - and they send me an email saying they can't verify my identity and try again. I went back into my account and there are no funds - $0. I'd better get my money.
Worst part- no customer service number listed on the site. Such poor customer service. They want you to email only and say they'll respond in 7 days...? I wish I had read the reviews before selling.
DO NOT USE TRADESY- help them go out of business!

I sold a pair of Red bottoms on their site that I actually brought off their site which ran small so I couldn't fit them. I sold them about three weeks ago and my funds were held for inspection policy but than they email me back saying my shoes was returned because "the heel is wraped and didn't stand up alone " which I never heard of that . I wore the shoes one time walked from the car to the door and took them off. The heel doesn't even look like it touched the ground. However they mailed them back without communicating with me to my old address and when I reached out to them they advised me that they normally reach out via email however NO ONE EMAILED me about the return so further more they brought their policy . Now if the item is stolen or uncover because I don't gave access than What?
tradesy steals your money!
"horrible! Whatever you do do not I repeat do not sell on this site. Tradesy will keep your money. They charge a whopping 20 percent off of your sale and then they even charge you to transfer your money to your bank. No other site does this. Also if you pull them up on the bbb (better business bureau) they have 328 complaints filed against them. I sold a pair of valentino rockstud heels which retails at currently 1000 btw to this person, she wore them and damaged them and tradesy kept my funds and is making me take the shoes back damaged even though the buyer damaged them. They don't give a [censor] about the sellers they just want to make the money off of you and they steal. Look them up on the bbb and see all the complaints. Poshmark is great! Sell and buy on poshmark and ebay not tradesy. There is another lady below who also states they kept her money and have not returned her jewelry. These people don't even have a phone number in thecreturns department, so you know they are shady. Poshmark is awesome. Whatever you do don't sell on here you will regret it!"

Thanks for letting me down, Tradesy.
Knowing how slow online websites can be, I ordered several items (as presents) two months before my sister's birthday.
Guess what? Yesterday she turned 20 and I had to give her different presents because the ones I ordered never arrived and I have no idea whether they actually arrive or not.
Taling to their customer service is like talking to a wall (and I think a wall is much smarter and talkative than their clueless staff).
I want my money back. That's all.

purchased a katespade bag at Tradesy but unfortunately I put my previous address. I tried to call the carrier (UPS) to update my address but they said that only the sender can do it. And as part of their policy they need to send it back to the sender. I tried to communicate with the sender gave her my new address and got one only response (she will call ups to update my address) but As I checked the ups tracking it says that the item were already returned to the sender. ( in short sender didn't call the UPS) I communicated again with sender asking since the item were already returned. What should I do now? She answered me, UPS sent the item to the wrong address. and will file complaint with UPS.. WHAT THE HECK! How could it be? I don't want to be deducted which will start on November 14. I just want to cancel this order. Need help pls. I emailed your customer care but no response.
too greedy
Impossible to sell paying growing and growing fees. More and more. I would understand it if they had an incredible platform, but their tools are crappy. Impossible to survive. I was forced to make the prices bigger and it drives a lot of customers away.
Most of them just leave the website and switch to others with lower prices. I will probably do the same...
bad customer service
Ok, telling my story. I ordered something as a present. I didn't like what I received and wrote them to find out what I should do to return it. No one answered. I send one more letter thinking that maybe the previous one wasn't delivered. It happens. But no reply again. Not impossible to call, they hide phone numbers.
Don't use them if you don't want to be robbed by them. That's obvious that they take the money and disappear pretending they don't get your emails. Real scammers.
bought a stolen item
April 2017 my gucci purse and sandals were stolen in excalibur las vegas nevada. The purse that my husband bought in tradesy came from pawnshop in vegas. An inspector checked it out for me and he said the purse ans sandals were pawned 4 days after the burglary. We already contacted the pawnshop too. How do we get our money back. Ordered this for my wife. Did not realize is was NOT new. Returned for refund but they only give credits. This is terrible company. It doesn't mention upfront these are used items or that you can not get refund only credit.
Will consider class action lawsuit against them. Have ordered THOUSANDS of item in 30 years using Mastercard and have NEVER had such difficulty with ANY company.
Totally agree. This company is bad. I also ordered a Gucci bag when it arrived, my son and I looked it over it was dirty and had a bad odor. I immediately returned the item to them and they put it as a credit on their site. They are trying to force me to use this credit to purchase something else. Buyer beware I'm also speaking with an attorney regarding this company's bad business practice.yes and I do agree with starting a class action lawsuit against them.

Don't want to use them again. Why in the world they charged me for transferring the money to my account? Why they actually have an extra fee for everything? It is nonsense. The worst conditions and policies or sellers. Everything is bad. I wish I have read all the complaints before selling my products, I would never make so stupid mistakes working with them. HORRIBLE!
fake items
I purchased a Louis Vuitton speedy 30 from SwalaB at Tradesy and realized it was fake. Because it was a day or 2 over the 4 Day return period Tradesy will not give me a refund. I called the company via phone then they did a follow email and told me the bag was real. I explained to them the problem they told me they did a authencity check. After numerous emails back and fourth They told I would have resell the fake item.

I called and they told me we didn't see the bag it comes from seller ! Sene the bag and we investigate, sure they did but they told me it's %100 real ! I told them if it's real why the bag rapped in very cheapie plastic bag and the zipper rapped with tap and the foam ? It was unreal .
Now I have credit from there website, I don't trust them at all to perches something else . I hope they do something abut there customer service it's terrible.

I have now experienced my fourth incident of inaccurate and negligent return decisions supported by Tradesy.
In this last situation, a buyer returned an item because (they clearly) stated that it did not fit their foot (I have it in writing ) despite the fact it was accurately described. Tradesy is now returning the item, stating there was wear on a brand new pair of sneakers. How in the world is this possible? For a fact, these sneakers are Brand New and have never been worn – as I personally purchased this inventory.
This is just one example of poor business decisions and the unfair treatment to Sellers and for the amount we pay in unreasonable fees this is unacceptable.
refused to refund my money back
I bought a $2660.00 necklace and returned it on time. They refused to give money refunds, only site credit. I don't want to purchase from them ever again, so how do I get the $2660 back. Its only fair I get my money back. They said I can use the money to purchase another item from them, and I don't want that ever again. They are scammers. I could use the money to pay for my bills.

When i found tradesy website I thought it was a great idea, but I was so wrong! I sold some thing via this site and they refund a buyer without letting me know! Buyer told them that thing I sent him were damaged and demanded a refund. They gave him money, but I never received my stuff back! When I tried to contact their support no one ever replied. So basically I lost my money and my items! Beware if you want to sell something on tradesy. I'm out of here!

I ordered a jacket from Tradesy website and received it in reasonable time. But I decided to return it back because it was dirty and had some stains all over it. And it smelled like garbage. It was said on the website that the jacket was brand new and there were no visible signs of wear. I sent the jacket back and now I am waiting for it to be inspected. I hope I'll get my money back. I have no idea how long it would take. At first they offered me a store credit, but I don't want it. I'll never order anything from this website again. Just a waste of money.

I ordered some items from Tradesy but decided to return everything because items I received were a disaster! Not to mention that horrible chemical smell. That smell made me sick! I demanded a refund but they offered me only store credit. I'm so tired of it, I told them million times that I don't need a store credit since I'm not ordering anything from them ever again. Please be king enough and give my money back or I'll go to PayPal and open a dispute. I will leave the negative reviews about them everywhere I can. I am so sick and tired of this. Tradesy is a horrible company selling disgusting products.
their suggestions are ridiculous!
I saw a commercial for Tradesy and decided to sell some items through their site. I had two shirts and three sweaters I wanted to sell. All items have never been worn and had tags on them. I took some pictures, uploaded them and got to the point where they suggest a sale price. One sweater cost me $180.00, but Tradesy suggested I sell it for $60.50! The second sweater cost $115.00, but they suggested sale price $35.00! All items were brand new and pretty expensive. Those people don't know what they are doing and their suggestions are ridiculous! I immediately deleted my profile. I'm not selling my designer clothes that cheap!
