Toyota service dept

General manager:

I have driven toyotas for over 35 years and never questioned a repair that was advised by your service department until now. My family has purchased four vehicles from your dealership, and I promise that you will never get any business from me again.

On november 28, 2018 invoice # c05244 service performed "coolant service flushed with bg flush machine with extra long life coolant and bg cleaner and additives serviced coolant system with super long life coolant" for $149.95.

On feb. 05, 2019 invoice # c07189 service performed "coolant service flushed with bg flush machine with extra long life coolant and bgcleaner and additives serviced coolant system with super long life coolant" for $149.95 was performed again on my car.

On september 11, 2019 invoice 3tcs268827 all that was done on my 2014 camry was an oil change. On the recommended needed service was "coolant service flushed with bg flush machine with extra long life coolant and bgcleaner and additives serviced coolant system with super long life coolant" for $180.24.

Rick, the service adviser, stated "I see nothing in the computer system that the coolant service flushed with bg flush machine with extra long life coolant and bgcleaner and additives serviced coolant system with super long life coolant" has been done to your camry.

I attempted to resolve this issue with the department head of service and was told the charge was for something else as if it was a figment of my imagination. It was stated clearly on the invoice!

My course of action will be to never to do business with huntsville toyota again, and I will no longer recommend your service, as I have done in the past.

Recently I got a reply from your plano corp. Office, and huntsville toyota has not contacted me about the issues of the invoices that charged me double.
After careful review of invoices (november 28, 2018) #c05244 and (feb. 05, 2019) #c07189 I found another double charge of $114.95 — air intake system and fuel system service with the coolant service flushed with the bg flush machine with extra long life coolant and bgcleaner and additives serviced coolant system with super long life coolant for $149.95 for a total of $264.90 which should be refunded back to me.

Toyota no driver side memory seat, no charging stations in the back seat, (usb or 12v)

Good morning,

My name is Glenn, I just purchased a 2019 Camry XSE for $41, 000. Even though this is my 5th Toyota, (second Camry) and my new Camry is an awesome and beautiful car. I was disappointed to not see an plug, USB, 12V charging station in the back seat, or drivers side memory seat button. Why are they missing from this car? Advise

I would like to bring to your kind attention that I called several toyota local dealers regarding my issue. My car odometer stopped at 299, 299 km. First of all I was surprised for this kind of fault in a toyota car because toyota is more reliable than other make. They said, this year of toyota stops the odomoter at 299999. Now dealers asked me to pay some money to fix it even it is a factory defect. Some other make like I had a Honda accord and it passed 300000 km and never stopped the odometer. As a factory defect, it should have been recalled by Toyot motor co. Now I need to fix this problem as my car is still running very well
and I need this car for my daily work.

Toyota toyota hilux gd6 2.8 double cab - poor service

Good day

1. In January 2018 I Purchase a Brand New Toyota Hilux GD 6 2.8 2018 Model from Toyota Vaal Sasolburg. Since day 1 my rear speakers has nearly no sound, even if its on high volume there is nearly no sound. I complaint about this within the first week, and was told it will be looked at, but since then after numerous calls nothing has been done.

2. When the bakkie was Purchased I paid for a rear Bronze Bumper (not sure if its covers or stickers, as Clinton advised me that a booking will be made but also no feedback in nearly 2 years.

3. I also had my front grill replaced with another one, for a face lift, when my bakkie was returned to me my old grill was not supplied to me, as I asked.

4. My front Driver side door bolts on the latches has started falling out since the first few months .

5. As promised to us, on every Service our bakkies will be thoroughly washed inside and outside, as every time the vehicle comes back from a service this has been done but at the poorest version of a car wash - terrible.

Please advise as its been nearly 2 Years and I still have no feedback

Toyota toyota land cruiser engine 1vd0312320 - navigation system

I bought the above vehicle from Australia and moved with it to Lusaka, Zambia. The vehicle in perfect condition but have not been able to update the map from Australia/New Zealand to Zambian map. Kindly advise who can assist me to updated the map chip in the vehicle to that I can use this function locally.

On April 28, 2012 I purchased a vehicle YARIS HB from your dealership Algeria
Ets FELLAH Djafar (Yaris-FE-HB, registration number: 90A 050 469).
Everything was ok in the beginning until I reached 120 km I noticed that oil consumption was obvious, first I thought the oil was not good but apparently it's common in all Yaris delivered in Algeria in same year 2012 has the same oil consumption problem.
Some clients was contacted from their leaderships to replace the vehicle or repair completely the engine, for my side they didn't call at all
for your information the repair is very expensive.
I would be grateful if you take action (contact your representative to solve the problem / use another repairer to solve the problem)
As I am sure, you can appreciate, I rely on my car for transport and apart from the inconvenience, and this problem will cause me to incur additional cost

I look forward to settling this matter amicably. If, however, the matter is not satisfactorily resolved by, I will consider taking further action to resolve the complaint either through the Department of Commerce or through the courts.

Toyota dealer lied and fail to disclose vehicle history

I feel like I was used and manipulated and that the leader intentionally misled the information of the car history in order for me to do the purchase.
I asked the sales person and the sales consultant about the Carfax several times and they both told me that it was clean. I trusted them, and I bought the car. I was finally able to see the report that night and it was not clean!, I took the car back the next day not even 24 hours passed and the Director of sales was really rude and defended the sales personal (I guess lying in here is right as long as the sale is done). There is a breach of contract in here and I want to return the car, this car definitely was not inspection at all, it was not even clean because we found spoons, nails, forks, and all the receipts and other information from the previous owner.

Toyota toyota quantum fitted erroneously with cartrack device

I am writing this e-mail as a frustrated and angry member of the public. A consumer of services and products who bought a new vehicle at Toyota in Pinetown in April 2019.

I was advised to ensure that I get a tracker fitted in the vehicle before taking possession. As a norm I went around shopping for the best quote. I instructed the salesperson to ensure that the device is fitted before I collected and uplifted the vehicle. I specifically instructed her that the new device would have to be fitted only if there isn't a device already fitted.

On this - the Bidtrack had installed their devise and Cartrack went ahead to install theirs ignoring my instruction. I must mention that the car was not in my possession and I was unable to prevent this from happening. The McCarthy salesperson is on record also trying to alert Cartrack to this mishap as far back as in April - please see attachment titled Tracker fitted in error. Please also see an attached follow up e-mail on 16 May 2019.

I have also tried several times to get McCarthy Toyota to reason with the situation to no avail. The general manager of this dealership refused to resolve this matter. I have communicated this with Cartrack and they have agreed to refund the premiums that I have paid them but provided that I pay the contract cancellation fee of R2650. I feel that it very unfair for me to pay this as I firmly believe that McCarthy Toyota needs to be held accountable for this.

Toyota car roof without install padding

Car plate: BHE 3031
Issue: the car roof come without the padding that cause very loud sound during rainy days, request Toyota and UMW to install back the padding but it is not being entertained and request to pay if to insert the padding into the car roof, I am strongly disappointed with Toyota, the padding should come together with the car but due to looking for exorbitant profit, Toyota has remove it without consumer knowledge.

Toyota i’m complaining about my toyota service. i’ve been to the toyota service center many time but my car’s problem was still there.

After my new Toyota was drove about half year. My Toyota started many problems. I've been to the Toyota service center about 20+ times but none of any problems complaint were solved. There were still many problems when I took my car from the Toyota service center. I've been to two service center but the service was same and it wasted our time. I need to put my car in the service center about a week of time but the problems were still there. I was disappointed about the QC of my Toyota.

Toyota toyota rush 1.5e

I have just been informed at the first service of my Toyota Rush that the installed Air Conditioning System does not contain Particulate Filtration and demonstrated to me the fine particulate matter being blown into the vehicles cabin to be inhaled by the occupants.

I consider this to be a breach of Product Safety with potential to impact on the health of occupants respiratory systems. Could you please provide a copy of the relevant Hazard Log associated with this component part of the vehicle.

This will be a Product wide issue and I am sure the Toyota Corporation would not wish to be subjected to any future potential health claims.

Simple fix is to install the filter at no additional cost to owners during the next Maintenance period.

NB: I have just retired from a Product Safety Engineering role with a Global Defence Company.

Toyota airbag

Have a 2002 PreRunner with 90000 miles; airbag light came on; took it to my mechanic who was a former Toyota mechanic. He stated he would not take my money to scan the error code as Toyota would fix it given their history with the Takata airbag mess and that they took pride in great customer service. Took truck to Parks Toyota in DeLand, Florida this morning. Told it would be $70 just to hook up a scanner to tell me what is wrong with this important safety feature. The tech needs one minute to run the error codes; paying $70 for one minute of work is absurd. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The scan for this lifesaving equipment should have been performed at no cost.
After this experience I will never buy another Toyota and will be sharing this experience with my family, friends, coworkers, and patients for years to come.

Toyota poor maintenance services

I've visited twice to the Toyota service centre
The first 1 for carrying out 80.000km service, and provide them with break pads noise.
The second vist after 3 days having same issue, and I agreed to replace the break pads and do the related mechanic service.
Now I still I have same issue.
This indicates that the agency staff are not qualified enough to discover and solve the problem during 1 visit
This is a real disappointment to Toyota brand

Good afternoon
Three days ago I purchase a Toyota Camry 2019, it was pr-owned car . the day i bought from Don McGill Toyota located at Kirkwood and i10. the day i purchase car i start getting issue with car. Within 24hour i took the car back to dealer and complain about problem .Rather then listening to my complaint they start avoiding me and keep telling me you bought used car, when i ask them to replace it they said we approved you for this car only. so i took the car back home but again next day i start getting noise from car and i called and complain but they ignore my call . i again visited them but they start talking rude, when i tell sales person i am spending $22, 000 on car i should get some respect and customer support but he walk away and came back to me after 10 min and was telling me we got the solution . he took me to the financial manger and over there the manager told me if you are having problem with car then leave the both keys and walk away. when i ask him don't you change the vehicle to solve the issue he rudely said no . just leave the keys . so after 3 days of purchase car they ask me to leave the keys and walk away empty hand. ( i work for Amazon delivery, Uber and Doordash, my old car was flooded and i was really looking forward to have this car but their rude behavior hurt me and humiliate me ) please help me out .how can i feed my kids without car.

Toyota 2019 toyota camry

I brought the above vehicle because I think this auto is awesome. I traded my 2018 Toyota Camry for the 2019. I also upgraded my IPhone to an iPhone 11. When I tried to program the auto features such as IHeartRadio, Scout GPS, Entune, and other features on my 2019 Toyota NOTHING WORKS! I call customer services and was informed that my IPhone 11 was not compatible with the system in my 2019 Toyota Camry...which was disappointing! Further, I was advised that Toyota did not know when this issue would be resolved, again very disappointed! I sincerely hope that Toyota will resolve this issue soon!

Toyota car brakes

I sent my car toyota corolla altis registration number CU 304 Pakistan to a dealership in abbottabad city for general maintenance last week.

When my car came out of the service centre there was a bad rattling noise coming from front wheels.
I took up the matter with customer relations department. I wrote mail after mail to understand the issue as it concerned my safety.

Customer relations department also called me but the attitude of the staff clearly showed that they wanted to pass on the buck rather than take responsibility. They are willing to lose a customer rather than offer real help.

I am extremely dissatisfied with Toyota's failure to keep customers happy. Please provide your email address so that I can forward the chain of emails which went back and forth among us. The matter will be clear to you.

For now I have asked all my friends and family not to trust toyota as these guys are a threat to Life.

Toyota service department.

I came into Toyota dtla back in January 2019 to get my car fixed. My smog test did not pass. They had the car for a week and told me I needed 3 parts which would cost 1200 dollars. They gave a year warranty and said it should be working fine. Brought into smog station. It flunked. Called service guy at Toyota and it still flunked said . Never called me back. I went to a referral to get a waiver from California. It did not pass. They gave me waiver but said price was so high that I should go back for warranty to make sure it was fixed. Then called manager Chris c. He said to come back in 6 months Get a oil change and we will fix the smog. He said he knew all about smog testing and can fix it. Went in Monday September 30. Service told me they would run the car themselves so it would pass the monitoring. Got notification Monday was ready. Asked was it fixed. All is working well. Talked to Chris the manager. Said he would call back today. They would get verification that smog will pass. No call. This is awful customer service. Was considering buying new car in near future but it won't be Toyota. Please help me resolve this. At least have some one call me back so I can pick up my car. Sue novelli [protected]

Toyota service

This is the second time I have called to schedule service and supposedly have free oil changes but can't get in for two weeks. I then call my local dealer they get me in the next day. Staff Is rude. They want me to keep calling back or call to the other service places. You would think the computers would be connected. The oil change is free so is this how they get out of it . I don't know why people are rude to people who made a purchase from your company.

Toyota flooding of foot well on aygo.

I took my car to Redhill when recalled for window leaking fault. They said it was ok. They were testing with a watering can ! I pointed out that after heavy rain front passenger footwell flooded very badly. . They advised new door seals. I had this done . No cure. It still floods a large amount . My garage think it is coming in the window and then leaking onto inside floor. Can you insist that Redhill Industrial estate Toyoto replace the passenger door window please ?
