Hi! I bought a pair of Toms Lenny metallic sneakers for my child a few days ago. The website says handwash with mild soap and that's what I did. A few minutes in the water, no soap yet, and the metallic disappeared! horrible product. Plus, I call them and they DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT as manufacturers. They told me that they only guaranty goods sold through their website. Since mine were sold at Nordstrom, they did not want to hear my complaint.
I would like a replacement of the defective merchandise as any reputable manufacturer would do but I do not know how to proceed.

toms boots & warranty
Bought a pair of Toms boots from an authorized retailer less than a month ago. The heel popped off & the tassle frayed from the zipper. Upon using Toms customer chat line, the employee stated they do not cover product bought from a retailer as of 9/7/17. They will only cover product bought directly from the website.
This is the worst customer service I've ever had the displeasure of having to contact.
I will no longer be purchasing Toms products if the company cannot stand behind defective products!
shoes which began tearing by day two
Hello! I would like to submit a complaint about a recent Toms product that I purchased. I purchased a pair of Toms shoes at a Journeys in MA, USA on Sept. 12 2017. I paid in cash, so I do not recall the exact price, but it was about $45-60 (shoes were on sale).
I began wearing the shoes on the day purchased for normal walking. Unfortunately, by the second day, the upper right side on one shoe had begun to tear slightly. Over the next few days, the tearing increased and within one week there was also slight tearing on the left shoe. I currently wear the shoes about twice per week, but the right shoe will not last much longer.
I love the style, fit, and mission of TOMS, however I am disappointed with the very short life of this shoe.
Attached you can find photos taken on Oct. 1 and on Oct. 6 showing the wear and tear.
I really love the shoes, so I would appreciate getting a new pair to replace these, and hope they will last longer!

Hello. If you are thinking of buying from Toms then think again and better don't do that.
Please, check what other people said about Toms and maybe then you'll understand that there is nothing good about them.
I have ordered a pair of shoes from www.toms.com website and when my shoes arrived they were in a terrible condition, sole was completely ripped off.
I tried to get a replacement or a refund, but they simply refused to help. They said even if I was telling the truth that wasn't their fault because when my order left their warehouse it was fine. Sorry, but I don't believe in that.

Brown chestnut oiled suede men's mateo chukkas
On 5/1/17 My Brown chestnut oiled suede men's chukkas fell apart. the sole detached from the upper. I bought them in January. However, I only wore them on TWO occasions. The occasions were in my house and the other at the grocery store so nothing heavy. I only wore them twice in hopes to save them for the spring/summer months. Not honoring sale price
I purchased three pairs of shoes at the Toms store in Austin on 1/22/2017. I was unaware there was a sale going on online. Nothing was advertised in the store. When I called customer service they said they would not honor the sale pricing. All of the pairs that I purchased in person were 25% off so I would like to pay the discounted price. That seems reasonable.

I have never heard anything about Toms and never bought anything there.
Somehow they got my email address and for about a two weeks now I'm getting regular emails.
I've tried to contact this company many times with no luck. They never replied and I have no clue how to unsubscribe.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They do not pick up the phone, do not respond to the emails, online chat does not work. They also do not respond to messages on Twitter or Facebook, really TOMS?

I purchased a pair of glittery Toms for my daughter last August and I had to order a few sizes up because that's all that was available. She is just now able to wear them and has worn them once and the stitching is coming undone ;( . I don't feel like for the price these shoes should be coming undone like this . Especially only been worn one time
