I have been banned from Tinder for no part reason, I have sent several emails to Tinder to find out why and they do not respond appropriately with any useful answer.

I purchased tinder platinum and and wanted to redo my profile. I am trying to restore my purchase and it says to reference my payment confirmation email since it has the restore token code on it. They never sent that to me and I can access my platinum account now. Seems like fraud.

I am a woman who joined Tinder Two days ago in the evening. In the morning I made a subscription purchase and I started to chat with some of my matches. What was strange is that one of the matches I had a chat with asked the same question in the morning. I replied by reminding him that I had already answered the question the previous night. He said we had matched again and we both found that to be a bit strange. I got a message to verify my account and I took the selfies and it said that it will take a few minutes. Few minutes turned into a few hours. later in the afternoon, I log in and it says that my account has been banned. I feel that my account was reported as way of revenge as I couldn't reply to everyone as quickly as they would have liked. I did not violate as of the terms of conditions at all. No racists, sexual comments, I am not a catfish, I didn't even get into a misunderstanding with anyone I was chatting with. My conversation were literally light and at the beginning stages. questions like: how are you? where are you located? Compliments, conversation about gym and keeping fit. I feel defeated because there is one match I had some many things in common with such as working in the construction, our love for farming and enjoy the outdoors. I was looking forward to that connection and getting to know other matches as well. I was actually impressed with Tinder and the people on the app as the conversation were about getting to know the individual. Felt good as a woman, not to have men come at me in a sexual manner and make me feel uncomfortable. It just felt good to have light, fun conversations. I was happy to finally find a dating app with my peers in it. I am really defeated by the ban and I am still shocked by it. I contacted customer services and their response said the ban was final. I think it is truly unfair to not allow for ban appeals especially to paying members or give an indication/report on which of the terms of conditions were violated. I am in full support of Tinder ensuring the members on the app feel safe and secure on the app, but some individuals are taking advantage of reporting accounts that have not violated the terms of conditions of the app by reporting the account because they feel the person is not giving them enough attention. There needs to be some type of balance of ensuring that members feel safe and secure on the app and ensuring that members don't abuse the reporting of accounts because their egos are bruised. I really hope that my account gets unbanned

I have submitted 9 requests where I have specified all the details regarding the issue and the customer support is ripping me off. They don't read the requests at all, replied 4/9 times with autoreplies that even don't match my requests. The customer support just sucks in this company.

The issue is not solved and there is no even possibility to contact someone else who will read the message

Me and my fiancé recently got tinder together as a couple to find people who are also polyamorous. I just went to check our app and it said it was banned. This is happened previously on my personal account due to tinder mistaking me for an underage person even when I have provided ID multiple times. I have went through the rules, regulations and guidelines and TOS, each time and none of which was violated. I do expect some sort of apology via the team as this has been happening since I turned 18 and I am almost 22 now. I will not be recommending tinder use to anybody and will be leaving my personal review on the app to warn others who have the same problem, to not use this app anymore as hey are discriminating people.

On august 29 2021 my tinder account was banned and provided no reason. Having read the terms of service and community guidelines I was not in violation of any. My phone number is [protected]. I reached out soon after only to get a copy paste reply back with no formal appeals process.

I've used your app for four years now and have had no issues with dating using the app. I've been respectable and patient for many months with no response.

The lack of evidence provided has led me to believe this is a glitch, hack, or a shady practice.

Josh seems like a super sweet and kind guy at first but looks can be deceiving. After we had been texting and FaceTiming for a while, he invited me up to his house in Lake Tahoe for a romantic weekend. I felt like the chemistry was good enough that I stupidly accepted since he offered to pay for my flight up. When I arrived, the vibes were a complete 180 from my previous experiences with him. He immediately came on to me and tried to coerce me into XXX. When I backed away and politely declined, he offered me money for XXX. I was so disgusted I left immediately, but of course ended up having to pay hundreds of dollars for my flight home. Beware of this creep!

Dan is not the guy he appears to be. He invited me to his fancy apartment in West Hollywood and he was a creep from the start. He has one number he texts you from first then later his gives you another one. I thought we would have drinks and learn about each other but the first thing out of his mouth was to get naked. He wants you to become his sex slave. He has cameras set up all over the apartment which is super weird. He immediately started touching me and started barking orders at me to please him. He wanted me to make videos with him doing very strange sexual things. He tried to persuade me to take it further but I was about to vomit and immediately left. This guy is a real sick person and all girls should keep their distance. I am posting this since he has no online presence or social media so I want y’all girls to have a heads up. Please girls watch out

I have just moved from the UK to the US for work. I have never had a Tinder account before. I signed up and when I entered the cell phone number I had obtained, a notification flashed up that I was banned. I'd never even interacted with someone on the app. Never seen anything so ludicrous or insulting in my life. I'm assuming my cell number has been recycled.

When I contacted them and explained the situation, they responded "I'm very sorry to hear about this, however, please note that we take violations of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines very seriously, and do not offer an appeals process at this time. Consequently, your account will remain banned from Tinder."

So they are not only insulting, they are [censored]ic.

I was a paying GOLD member and I was banned for no reason. I have checked all the T&C's and I have not violated any. I have contacted customer service multiple times and had no response. I'm also not able to create a new account at all as it has completely banned my number, pictures and details.

I have done some research and I see this is a common issue. Please unban my account and work on resolving this as it is losing you a LOT of custom.

About 12 hrs after paying for a "Tinder Gold" subscription, I was banned for "violating their terms of use".

During the period on question (most of which, I was asleep), I had a short conversation with one person, in which nothing even mildly offensive was said.

I really feel like they just stole $80+ dollars from me

I met a man on tinder who was incredibly sexually aggressive.
His tinder profile showed he had an Instagram account for people to look at his art and contact him there.
I took initiative and did so because I thought he might be interesting.
What proceeded was multiple efforts on his behalf to send me nude pics, he was inappropriately overly sexual with his conversations. I repeatedly asked him to stop contacting me. I finally blocked him on insta. At this point i had already unmatched him on tinder.
I was very shocked when he popped up again on my swipe list. I did report him as having inappropriate behavior to tinder and i thought the matter done. They even sent me contact numbers for support groups, which was nice.
Then he came across my swipe list again.
This is alarming! This tells me he can still see my profile. How can I feel safe on an app that does nothing to correct malicious persons?

It's time We as men stop being taken advantage of. There is a clear pattern here and Tinder needs to learn respect. Let's sue them. One person suggested going through credit card company and getting a refund, I did so and got my money back. Now I'm upset with their service. This is the second time this was done to me without explanation. I hate yo think about the many of consumers whom did not get their money back. Let's sue their thieving behind.

I have been using the Tinder app for several years on and off and have not run into any issues until now. I went to log into my account this morning and received a message that it was banned. I tried several times to contact customer support to find out what is going on and continued to receive the same programmed response stating simply "we take violations of our terms/guidelines very seriously..." then directing me to read the terms/guidelines. I continued to ask for help explaining that I read over the terms/guidelines several times and to my knowledge was not in violation of anything. I also explained that I am concerned that someone may hacked my account because I don't have the slightest idea what my alleged violation was. I have been unable to get anyone to tell me what the reason for my banned account is or address my concerns at all. I just receive the same emailed response over and over. I feel it is unethical at best to ban someones account with no warning, then refuse to give a legitimate and specific reason why

Hi this to highlight a case where someone is using my name and my photo on tinder he has made a face account and basically asking people to call me or text me by giving my personal number to everyone it's cyber crime and i want you people to take a necessary action on this immediately before all these things turned out to be a big crime as social media is the app where people are very much active and interact with people so just want my fake account to be reported

I signed up for Tinder last week. It's not what I was hoping for and is of no use to me. I paid $80 for it and I want my money back. I feel totally taken advantage of and am highly disappointed. You really need to have someone to talk to live. It feels as though once you have the money you could really care less about ripping someone off. I went on tinder one day and discovered I was blocked sometime in my sleep. I didn't receive a warning and my account never went under review it was just straight to a ban. I know for a fact I didn't break any serious rules so I don't understand why I wasn't even given a warning. I didn't post anything sexual or violent, I was verified and clearly not a fake account, I wasn't promoting the sale of drugs or guns, I never sent any sexually explicit messages etc. I only told someone to piss off once and surely that can't be the reason I was straight up banned?! I've tried to get in touch with the tinder support group but they are just sending me automated replies and have stopped replying. I don't see how this is fair! I had a few women I wanted to message further and maybe meet once lockdown is over and now tinder has deprived me of that for no reason at all! I'm sick of them ignoring me. I've been on tinder for years and I've had a gold subscription for months and now I'm paying for it and can't use it for no proper or clear reason at all.
