Tim Hortons - coffee mug "lid"

I live about 2 1/2hrs away from Gatineau Quebec. I have Hospital / Doctors etc. appointment that I must travel once every month sometimes 2 monts...I always bring mu Tim Horton's mug coffee with me, because it has a lid with a small (don't know quite how to call it) but a small plug to open when you want a drink of coffee & to shut when not in use...On Thursday April 4th 2019, between 5-6PM finished what I had to do, and on my way home, I stopped at Tim Horton's in Gatineau Quebec, (25 rue de la Savanne) as I usually do when I am done with my appointments... I always ask for a medium refill... I give the Lady my mug & she gives it back to me without my small plug...It look like someone had pulled it off...I asked the girl, "where is my small plug? I need it because, I live out in the Country & this time of the year the Country roads are not perfect to drive & I don't want my coffee spilling all over...Well, OMG, a huge "DRAMA"...She started telling me there was no plug, you gave it to me like that etc...Then the Manager came, I explained to him the situation & told him what I usually do when I come to Gatineau...He (the manager) wasn't listening to me what I was saying...I had too repeat myself 3 times until I got upset over a stupid lid.. Then he tells me It's my word against the girls word..I had that mug in my car all day drinking out of it, I should know if there was a small plug or not..I asked to just pour my coffee in a paper cup with a lid please..Told I would make a complaint & he just started yelling at me, trying to make me feel guilty by intimidating me...He was really upset because I was going to make a complaint...He kept asking me, "Are you sure it was there"...I was trying to tell him, "I come here every time for my refill before I drive back 2 1/2 hrs back home"...These employees were new, for I had never seen them before...It can happen by mistake, that they pulled on the lid by accident & thought it broke & threw it away afraid to say what they did...Instead they call me a liar...That was uncalled for..It was just a stupid plug...
