It's been months since they've had anything on their roller grills. No hot dogs or anything. I used to stop by after maybe twice a week for a quick bite on my way home. I tried again today and again, no quick bites, no donuts, no pastries. Absolutely nothing. Terrible service and terrible lack of product. It's a great location and it's being wasted terribly.

On Saturday May 18th at 2:15 pm I paid for $9 in regular gas @ your store #126 (Naperville IL Ogden/North Aurora road. I put in my phone number [protected])to get my discount in lieu of my refresh rewards card .

I went to the car to get my gas on pump #9 and the screen read that the pump was not available. Cashier Lori got on the intercom to respond to my help button call and said I could come back in for a refund . When I got back inside from the heavy rain she told me that it was not necessary to do anything and the money would automatically go back on my card. I asked wouldn't I get charged even a dollar? She said no and I would not get charged anything. No charge at all.

I thanked her and wished her a good day then proceeded to next closest gas station to fill up. My gmail( [protected]@gmail.com ) sent me a receipt for $9.59 at 2:17 pm for the transaction, Then I received a notice from my bank that my account was overdrawn and my bank charges $37 for overdrafts.

i am a regular customer at that store and now I am incredibly disappointed .
It is my closest store and I will remain a customer there BUT this situation was expensive and inconvenient at best.

The employees at the 13010 Old Hickory Blvd Antioch, TN 37013 location were to busy talking to help check out customers. One cashier was working while three other cashiers were behind the counter talking and hugging and looking at each other's phones. Once I was finally waited on I felt rushed off. I needed to do two separate orders. After ringing up the first order the cashier stepped away and started showing another cashier something on his phone. I was finally helped but in no way do I feel like a valued customer. I felt like an inconvenience. Unacceptable.

Your greed has cost you yet another customer! I have been a long time shopper at the 2 thortons in my town! Not any more! With signs still showing our $.05 a gallon savings, your pumps are showing
$.03 now...? When this changed at midnight, the banners, signs, and stickers we're still visible! This is false advertisement! Not only do I buy gas, but I also purchase liquor, smokes, milk, snacks, sandwiches, lottery tickets, need I go on? So your greed to save $.02 has cost you so much more! Great job management!

Thortans at 9138 s Cicero at 10:11 pm Monday 04/29/2019 was the rudest person I've ever dealt with I've been coming here for ten years and it will be my last as she was swearing in front of customers and my 11 year old son the ladies that were behind the cash register with her was also laughing like it was a big joke. The workers children were in the store as this other lady was swearing. It was the worst experience I've ever had. I will follow up with the morning girl that I speak to every day.

Store # 382 Own Mound Rd In Decatur Il The floors are always stinky wit pop the coffee machine never cleaned at nite time or the warmers never wiped down and Employee take more cigarette breaks then they actually work lazy lazy Employees and the Language is very unprofessional in front of Guest If STORE #382 will work Own Some Cleaning Instead of Cigarette breaks every 3to5 Minutes Maybe They Can Keep A Full Staff Instead of using Employee just so they won't have to do Anything but Cigarette breaks

Upon arrival at station entered establishment and was ignored by station guest attendant at counter who was on his i-phone (ignored customer) made me wait until he was finished doing what ever than I asked for $ 8.00 of gas 0n # 6 pump... He said what... I repeated it again... On my way out the door I said to myself "you would hear me if you weren't on the I - pad", note I didn't confront him or say it to his face... At the counter... As can be verified by video camera (between 1:05 & 1:10 pm 4-21-19, the disrespectful, rude and confrontational clerk ran out to the pump # 6 and threw the $8.00 at me and said get out of here take your $ some place else. He left the store unattended and and ran outside and tried to provoke me but I would not play into his ploy. I told him he was on video and to keep the $ I paid him inside and allow me to get the gas I paid for, he proceeded to cuss me and after throwing the money at me went back inside. All this is on video... Check it out, is this the type of unstable, confrontational, rude employee you want working at thornton's? Any questions call me ed david [protected] thank you

I walk in to the store at 11:15 after setting the pump to fill the tank, for a quick buy just a pack a ciggates and a 12 pack of squirts! But I didnt se them were their usually are so I look and there this door to like other gas station that store more pops and liquor so I open the door and walk in my mistake not a problem there walk, I want it acold 12 pack not hot one but as I'm coming out the cashier tell me what I'm doing their I explain to her all I want it was acold 12 pack of squirt and well the lady not only refuses to sell me the goods she also calls the cops and tell me to leave because there too many people anyways like yeah this lady pick the 3rd shifts hopping she can sleep on her shift I been in that Thornton in the morning that wasn't alot of people 3 guys ain't alot ! And she tells the cop to pick another store she doesn't want to see me there so I'm ban from thorntons! So I'll just stop to let you know I'm changing my gestation to shell!since it's really stupid that not even hospital refuse to give service to people but cashier have the right ! And the cops can do nothing a bout it to avoid further problems !I'll eliminate my stops to thorntons!thank you!

I went to the gas station at Thorntons, I went inside to ask for help and they told me to deal with it but it wasn't only just me and other two costumers we are Hispanic we were was also treated that way and telling us to deal with it ourselves. Not only that they didn't give us a recipt but they also told us bad attitude and bad words(cursing). We went at 5:20 Pm, the pump was frozen and they wouldn't help, so when we decided to click the button for help they did not answer but they yelled on the microphone to stop. pressing the button.

I frequent the Thornton's on Alumn Creek and Williams Road almost on a daily basis. Today around 3 I went to 3 different pumps both came up see Cashier. I went In and was treated very rudely by a Cashier named Donna. First their was an African American who was buying a cigar that came up to $1.17, he only had a dollar so he ran out to get I guess more money. She looked at me and said he doesn't even have enough money.
I told her the pump had displayed to See Cashier, to which she said ok and just glared at me, I repeated what the display had said, keep in mind I have my card in my hand. I told her I'm just trying to patronize the gas station as a customer to which she wasn't being very friendly to which she replied "doesn't benefit me - benefits Thornton's" and I said to which as an employee you are representing.
Finally a guy walked up behind her and said sorry sir sometimes the card readers out on the pumps don't work simply swipe your card here. Which I did and it worked fine. Donna continued to glare at me mumbling things under breath. I called and tried to explain to Ann who said she was the GM to which I find hard to believe based on how short she was with me which explains a lot about how her employee Donna treated me. UNACCEPTABLE to say the least. That store needs to learn and practice the core value statement for Thornton's. Without customers, you have no business!

This guy should be still playing with his tinkertoys. He's biased, narcissistic, arrogant and applies his bias to possible hire-able employees. He steals employees money they legitimately earned such as vacation pay after lying to them and telling them that they'd get the money, and because he's such a whimp and doesn't like people with a confident demeanor he refuses to hire them I would suppose out of fear of being put in his place when he acts arrogant. I was refused a job based on strictly that reason and Matt is just as big a clown. The should both be replaced with older and more intelligent RM's. I am an employee that worked for 2 yrs without incident and because you hire people with such immature mentalities I got stiffed on a simple CSR job with no complaints against me whatsoever. You people are just bullies and inept at your jobs and ruled by your own arrogance.

I was in my local Thortons this morning at 7:30 am I've shopped at Thortons since I was a child I've never had such a rude experience. I asked for cigarettes she grabbed the cigarettes she scanned them at self scanner and threw them down never said a word to me. She acted as if I interrupted her conversation with another employee. I understand the self scanners are suppose to be efficient I didnt realize it was so the employees could learn on a counter and talk and if you ask for something behind the counter you were going to be treated badly. I was embrassed by the time I left there was a line and she refused to wait on anyone. I wont be back to that thortons again during to the way I was treated. It wasnt the first time this has happened. I've heard many customers complain while in the store with the same treatment. I'm a manager of a retail establishment I've been a manager for 25years. I started at a local convenience store when I was 15. Never would I treat customers like they are bothering me simply because they came into my place of business to purchase items.

I went into Thorntons on Mannheim in Bellwood as I always do sometimes twice a day. And as always on the weekends I run into the ignorant employees of course because the manager is not there! She went on as to how she had to charge me for cheese for my nachos when the sign clearly says UNLIMITED toppings mind you there was no cheese on my nachos as you normally would do in the container. so where was the extra cheese? She continued to get ghetto and proceeded to say well your shopping in the hood when I asked her why the attitude! When I asked her name first she said Denay then after the incident she gave me a receipt for $15.00 of pre paid gas with a name of Akaria.?! I didn't pump any gas i got nachos and a drink! My husband got the last of the incident on video. Shes the cashier in the middle. I will be calling corporate and the store manager this weekend behavior of employees is unacceptable they need to hire better quality employees like they have during the week mornings those employees are A+ but the young weekend girls need not be there.

I have sent you all a complaint about long spoons to enjoy the icy drinks and still no long spoons have been replaced only the small 3 inch spoons with knife our available. You all need to try to eat the icy drinks all the way to the bottom of the cup without the long spoons lol. I was told by a manager at this location that the head of all foods at thornton discontinued the long spoons which is like drinking a soda out of a bottle with the cap still on! I ask again to have the big spoons to be returned I am sure the cost difference can not be that much if any! So please return the long spoons to your stores. [protected]@gmail.com

on nov. 1, 2018, i purchased a box of cigarettes. i made a mistake and took the cigarettes back to exchange them. i had my receipt. i went back to the store and i was told by trista, that i could not exchange them, or get a refund. she told me that the store's policy is, it is against the law to exchange cigarettes. i was told to talk to jessica, the manager. i called this morning at 9:00 am. i was told by cashana, that jessica would be in at 2:00 pm. i was also told that this law was in their hand book. why isn't it posted in the store? i called the store at 2:05 pm, to speak to jessica. again, i was told by irene that jessica was gone for the day. i think that was a very crappy way to handle a transaction. i just wanted to exchange a $75.00 carton of cigarettes, but i had to purchase another carton of cigarettes, because of really stupid rules. you need to change them.
