BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS! THEY SEEM CHEAPER THAN OTHERS BUT THEN CHASE YOU WITH MORE CHARGES WHILE NOT GETTING JOB DONE!
Same experience as other people described here. They showed up a full day or two after the snow fall has stopped and once didn't show up at all (the biggest snowfall). They don't plow all snow. They charged upfront for 10 visits, came 8 times, then invoiced me for 5 extra visits. I had to buy my own snow thrower in January to dig myself out after snowfalls. They are abusive over the phone and threated with collection agency.

Hired The Snow Guys (www.TheSnowGuys.com) out of Livonia for snow removal. Only once in 8 snowfalls they came withing 24 hrs. I had to shovel snow myself every single time to be able to get out and then eventually had to buy a snow thrower in January. Twice I had to call them 2 or 3 days after snowfall so they'd come and clear the snow ... that almost wasn't there because I had done it myself(!). And then ... they sent me invoice for total of 15 service calls, with many visits charged as two or three !

Total Scam - never hire them ever!

I'd like to add to the negative comments regarding this company. They never showed up after 2 snowfalls, and offered a refund only if I sent a certified letter. Months have gone by. Emails unanswered. Stay away!

Hired them for snow removal during a stressful time in my life. Their rate was good. I was naive. I was not at the location I had "signed the contract" for due to family situations. They "claim" they used up their 10 plow visits - - and that I needed to pay for more, due to the fact that they claim the heavy snowfall had them come and plow, at times, more than once a day, so thety demanded more $$. When I balked at that, said I only contracted for x amount of visits and I was NOT interested in extending the contract. They insisted I pay them to STOP plowing during that winter. At this point, I probably paid that -just to get them out of my face. Now 3 years later, they are sending threatening lawyer letters -claiming that I STILL owe them $80. Since banks do not "return cancelled checks anymore", I am not sure how to prove that I paid this amount to these shisters.

Due to a surgery in my abdomen, I hired these guys to plow my driveway last winter. Also they recently sent me an invoice showing 2 or 3 service calls within the same day, while I was desperately sitting at home on the phone trying to reach them to find out when finally our driveway will be cleaned out so I can get out my car. I ended up pushing my driveway by myself or with help of my neighbors in most of days shown on their bill so I can get my car out of the garage. I was often late or have even missed my work entirely because this plow service never showed up on time or did not clean my driveway all the way to the garage door. The old snow had always been frozen on our driveway and blocked using our garage. A cab driver had slipped out once and sued us for not having a clean driveway. I got an infection in my abdomen due to The Snow Guys act of negligence - forcing me to mess around with the snow on my driveway all by myself, causing my abdomen infection. When complaining to them over the phone, an apparent polite lady was trying to convince me about correctness of their charges, another guy seemed to scream from the background, seemed they liked to thread me with court charges to get their $30, what a customer service! Get your own blower or go with reputable companies, these guys don't seem even to have an insurance. I do not recommend “TheSnowGuys.com” to anyone!
