I advertised the sale of a motorcycle on a popular website. A day later, I received a phone call from The Seller Network claiming they could sell the bike by advertising iton the too 20 resale sites and all it would cost me is $299.00. They would handle everything including the financing and shipping and the bike would remain with me it sold.
They claimed an 80% sell rate within 30-45 days.

I was leery and thought I should check the internet for complaints. I can't find a website by the name of The Seller Network which is flag one. Flag two I found a complaint her on the complaintboard.com for a similar named company doing the same thing but for different prices mentioned to me. My guess is that a rolling stone gathers no miss and they change up their price, location if their business etc. the guy said his name was Kevin Wilson and maybe their really is a guy with that name but this looks too cheesey to me!
When you call the [protected] number you get a recording. The guy said his extension was 1724.
Does anyone know if this company is legitimate?

I received a call today saying they would sell my truck for $1000.00 over my asking price and I was very leary at first. I still am. It's one of those deals that sounds too good to be true, kind of like those emails you get saying if you send money to an email in South Africa you'll get $10, 000, 000.00. After reading the reviews, both positive and negative, I'll risk keeping $300.00 and sell it on my own.

My story is the same as motorcycle guy, but with a motorhome. The lady called me a second time after the weekend. When I asked why the company number had no Google results and asked if they were a scam, she got very defensive and ended the call. She claimed that NO PHONE NUMBER, NOT EVEN A BANK can be located by internet search. She said if I want to learn about their company; I have to search very specifically for CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING VENTURES BUSINESS REVIEW or something.

Don't trust 'em, not one little bit!

What ended up happening to the motorcycle? Is it a scam or not?
