The Salvation Army USA - drop off customer service

I've been a local Key Largo resident for over thirty years. I've always bargain hunted and believe in recycling good used items for others to use. I've donated items to this Salvation Army for years and take pride in my community. I don't ever make reviews or submit complaints but after my experience today I am appalled. I am sad to say I will never be donating or shopping here again and I have told all my neighbors and friends about this situation that left me offended. I was donating some designer clothes and used household items in great condition. I pulled up in my vehicle and a truck was unloading a couch and an Asian armoire picked up from someone's house. A guy working in the back with a long pony tail was yelling at the guy on the truck to throw the couch into the trash. As the items were being unloaded from the truck, I started to unload my items from my car and bring them to the drop off area. As I was carrying my items, the guy with the pony tail hollers over to me and says, "Hey let me look at that" loudly. I say sure and tell him it is some designer clothes. "I need to see if they have mildew" he said. Mildew? Why on earth would anyone presume I would bring designer clothes with mildew? It gets worse. "What else do you got there?" he asked, agitated, waving his hands to my car. I told him some household goods. He said go ahead. I kindly asked where he would prefer me to donate my items and he told me to place them on the table. I went back to my car to get more items and when I came back I saw my items in a trash can. I asked him if this was a trash can and if he trashed my items already, he said "Um, maybe." Maybe? It is yes or no. I am donating quality items. It seems this man here does not care for what he is doing. Prior visit to this Salvation Army this same guy with the pony tale gave my younger daughter attitude and his language was inappropriate. I am disappointed that you hired someone like this to represent the nature of giving. This man has issues and is the reason my family will not be coming here again despite living here for years. I took my items and left for home. I will be donating elsewhere in the future, such as the Marc store for ReMarcAble Citizens in Tavernier.
