On 6/3/2016, I had noticed on the Mark of Alexandria's website that they were advertising rental specials. There were a number of apartments selling for around 1300.00. The specials were being held the weekend of 6/3/2016. I visited the leasing office on 6/4/2016. I told them I was interested in the apartments leasing for 1300.00. However, Tina Hill insisted that they had trouble with their website and that they were not having a special. She told me that there were apartments available, but I would have to pay a little bit more. I found this disturbing as their website said that there were some 1300 apartments available, and outside of their building there was a sign advertising the special pricing as well as a young man standing on Duke street with an advertisement. I have photographs of the apartments on sale at 1300 and the advertisements that support the special pricing. As of 6/4th and 5th, the special is still in place and the apartments at 1300.00 are still available on their website. Also, the price sheet that they provided does not match what they are promoting. This is a case of false advertisement to lure customers. However, the Company is not keeping in line with the terms of their advertisement.
