Texas Roadhouse service

Hello I went out to eat on May 18 2019. My server was named Stacy table 412/1 location 501 east Trenton rd in Edinburgh tx.. Trace:[protected]..auth:142829

I had poor service had to ask managers and other servers to attend our needs.. In addition noticed staff and managers huddled together talking..it was not a busy day to justify poor service...again had to get hold of anyone that walked by our table.. Upset about our evening... Texas Roadhouse attitude of server

Hunter seemed to be very upset when my husband wanted to look at the menu and asked her to give us about 10min. Rolled her eyes every time he raised his glass for another beer, when she brought it to the table she slid it across the table more than once. When she did come to the table we would say thank you and never once heard her say you're welcome. We probably will never go back

Texas Roadhouse for the total of my balance

I went there last Sunday to eat for lunch with my friends, and the total of my balance was 163 and they took out of my credit card 200.00 so I don't know what Happened, next day when I go to check my credit card account i saw the balance of 200 on my card ! Next day I called the restaurant and I talk with somebody ant they told me they cant refund my 37 dollars, is not fail because I just spend 163 no 200.00 I want my 37 dollars back please and thanks . Texas Roadhouse the whole experience

We ordered what I thought was a. Simple meal. I ordered a half rack
Of ribs. And my date ordered steak kabobs. It took 45 minutes to get our salads. And when our food arrived. The food was cold. We told them that our food was cold. And they took it back
To the kitchen. And the manager. Came back with our plates. And she didn't even know the table numbers. The manager asked the people next to us how there service was. And they told them. That there food was cold as well. And the manager didn't seem to make it right in any way.

Texas Roadhouse food

I took my wife to the roadhouse in Aberdeen, NC. We got bacon bits on her salad. The bits were hard and we told the waitress and she told a manager. The manager spoke with us and told us she would remove from our ticket. It did not happen.

The sirloin I had was not good, it was tough. By that time we just assumed it a bad night.

My ticket number was 20003. My server was Laura. The date was 4/24/2019, the time was 4:51pm. Bill total was 28.86.

The worst part it was my wife's birthday.

Texas Roadhouse I am complaining about my whole dining experience at texas roadhouse in cranston, ri on 4/13/2019.

My family & I arrived there at 5:15 pm and was told by one of the young ladies at the desk that it would be 20 minutes before we were seated. It was 5:40 pm and we were directed to the back of the restaurant to a half table, half booth. There were some tables behind my chair and booths on both sides of our table along the walls. Sitting in one of the booths to my left was a young couple with 2 small children. One of the children was sitting in her stroller which was between our table and the booth. Because of the stroller being there, we had no way to get out if there was ever a fire. Our server took our order after 15 minutes of waiting. We waited over a half hour before we got our food which was cold.in the meantime before we got our food, there was a large group of people, so the server push the table that was behind my chair up against the booth next to it. Now I was really worried because between the stroller blocking the aisle next to our table, now the aisle behind my chair was also being blocked. I asked our server to speak to the manager, but he never came over, instead he sent someone else and so I told her they need to move that table so there is an aisle to pass through in case we had to leave. Her answer was "we can move you to another table". I was like you have to be kidding me since we just got our food and we had been sitting there already. She should have moved those people to a bigger table somewhere else, but she just ignored us and walked away. When the young couple with the children and stroller were leaving, both me and my husband had to get up from our chairs, move our chairs out of the way and we had to move out of the way. Also, when the person who cleared off the tables, sprayed the tables before he wiped them down. The bottle of cleaner sprayed all over. They need to use a damp cloth and not a spray bottle with chemicals in it because when you spray the bottle, it gets all over everything, not only the table. I am allergic to these spray cleaners and I don't want it all over my food or in my nose and eyes. I also placed an order to go of a whole rack of baby back ribs with 2 sides. I asked for some extra bbq sauce on the side. When I got the ribs home, there was no extra bbq sauce on the side like I asked. The bill was over $70.00 and they were the worse meals we had ever had and the worse service. I want to know why the manager didn't come to our table when I asked to speak to him instead of him sending over a server who was useless and rude. Another thing, when I called corporate, I asked to speak to the regional manager for the rhode island restaurants, instead I was given to a guest relations person. What is it with this place, you ask to speak to management and they give you a server or guest relations person. This is not acceptable. I don't like to keep repeating myself over and over again! I was told by the guest relations person that the manager for the restaurant I am complaining about will contact me in 24 to 48 hours. I won't hold my breathe, since the manager didn't come to our table when I asked for him in the first place. I want a full refund of $70.10!

Kneelfist, it seems you make remarks on everyone who makes a complaint about a place. I am looking at everyone who has made a complaint about a place, and guess what? Your name is on all the reviews! Why am I not shocked? You must be getting paid to call people names and mention their mother's in your remarks. You are the pathetic one who needs a life. Maybe you do this or a living because that's all you can do. You complain about people who make complaints, how sad is that? I noticed you call women little girls when you have no clue whom you are talking about or what you are talking about! You probably don't have a female in your life or maybe your mommy treats you like the little boy you are... Hahahahaaaaaa! I am not getting paid to post this. Another lie from you. Also why are you sending me private messages about how your father raped you and that is why you cannot afford to eat at the restaurant and want a full refund. If this is the case then unfortunately you should not be dining there.

I am not sending you private messages, I am replying to your rude, ignorant post here on complaint board. first of all, my father never raped me and you making a remark about my father doing that to me is wrong. maybe it was your father who raped you & that is why you say the things you do to other people. you seem to be remarking on everyone's complaint on complaint board, so you must be getting paid by someone. you have nothing better to do then troll all these websites and make rude, sick comments & name calling. you are a sicko & a bully, and have nothing better to do with your time then harasse people because they complain about something. get a life and stop saying all those rude things to people when you don't even know anyone whom you are talking about! seems your parents never taught you how to be nice to people, they probably bullied you and called you names, so you have to do that to other people because of what your parents did to you!

Why on earth should you get a full refund. You ate the food so pay for the food. IF you cannot afford to pay for the food then do not eat there. Cook at home. Visit a soup kitchen. On another review you accused someone who has positive feed back of working there and making the place look. Now I can stoop to you level and claim that you made all of this up because you were fired.(which would explain why you cannot afford to pay your bills) I however do not make ASSumtpions. You have no business asking for a full refund just because you cannot afford to eat there. Cannot afford to eat there then don't. If there was really an issue with the food you would have returned. You are just looking for a free meal because you cannot afford to feed your family. I feel sorry for you. Now before you go around making a bigger fool of yourself and falsely ASSuming that I work there. I don't. I am a site regular. Grow up child. Mommy needs to give you a good slap across the face. Obviously she did not raise you right. Or maybe she tried and you turned out to be a pathetic loser anyway. IN that case I feel sorry for her having you as a child. Also obviously you are too lazy to cook. You do not know that food takes time to cook. When you thought you were in danger of the fire exit being blocked you could have left and cancelled your order. You did not. You did not really feel in danger. You are just using this as an excuse to get free food because you cannot afford to feed yourself.

went texas rloadhouse in asheville nc today at 2.00 pm wait was fine got seated my napkin was dirty i had to ask 2 times to get silver ware waitress was slow brought my salald same time as my food then wanted check finally got check never came back to get my card so i just paid cash love the food but was a bad service today.

Texas Roadhouse service

The food was ok. Our waitress 1st got the order wrong my husband ordered an 11oz steak and she brought him the 16oz steak. Then we waited 20 min for drinks still never saw waitress so I went to bar and ordered our own drinks, the bartender said she was bringing a manager over, never saw a manager at all. And I used to love eating there but with service like that we wont be doing back. I mean what if I didnt have the cash to cover that steak she brought out?

Texas Roadhouse my take out order

I had placed an order for take out on 3-16-19 for a fillet medallion with a loaded sweet potato, peppercorn sauce, and a salad. Also a country fried chicken with cream gravy on the side (2 gravies) with apple sauce and load mashed potatoes. The hostess didn't go over my order with me when I was there so I wasn't able to look and see if everything was there before I left. Upon my arrival at home I noticed first that there was dried blood down the side of the bag. I looked at my self and my boyfriend noting that neither of us had any cuts to make this so clearly it was from the restaurant. When taking out my order we realized that we were missing two of the sauces we asked for and the loaded sweet potato wasn't cut, was cold and nothing was put on it. I ended up not eating half of the meal because it was terrible.

Texas Roadhouse manager

The other night I decided to go to one of my favorite places on route 9 in Poughkeepsie to eat. Normally everything is amazing - the food, the service, the vibe, etc. But my last visit I saw an encounter where one of the new female mangers were bad talking one of the employees right in the middle of the restaurant, I was taken back and shocked. A couple minutes later that employee came up to her with a question for one of her tables and this manager rolled her eyes at the employee and gave her attitude for no reason, (and honestly even if the server really messed up the way this manager handled the situation was just sad, rude and unprofessional) so, again completely shocked. I've been coming to this location since it opened and I'm honestly sad to see this new manager act the way she did. It's definitely not kind service I feel Texas Roadhouse Poughkeepsie is known for. I feel so poorly for that employee and if she did that to one I can't imagine how she treats the rest of the staff. She then ended up visiting my husband and I and even the way she talked to us was just unpleasant and unprofessional. My husband had a question about how his dinner was cooked and what kind of seasoning was used, she kept saying she didn't know and gave the body language like we were bothering her. Again we've been to this restaurant a lot and I love most of this locations staff and management team but after seeing what I saw, I honestly am just heart broken if it wasn't for the rest of the amazing staff I wouldn't come back no matter how good their food is.

Texas Roadhouse specific host

Hello, my name is Angela Wright. The other night I was at Texas Roadhouse and I was taken by surprise at the treatment I had recieved. When this host was given the slip to take me back she rolled her eyes, and I told her my husband John wanted to pick out a steak and she had rolled her eyes for a second time. She had a very bad attitude and did not speak taking me back to my table. When I had asked for her name, it was Katie. This is the first time out the many times coming to Texas Roadhouse I have seen this kind of behavior by an employee.

Texas Roadhouse service and food due to being undercooked because of rushing order

My story,
This pertains to the Willoughby Texas Roadhouse in Ohio 44094. AT around 2;00pm 3/3/19 I ordered two meals with a birthday appetizer. I stated to the person taking the order that I wanted to pick it up at 4;40pm which he wrote down on the ticket and took it and dropped off in the kitchen. I arrived back at the restaurant at 4;35pm. He looked for my order under the desk at it wasn't available. He then went back into the kitchen coming out and telling 10 more minutes. I asked if they just started my order and he stated no but I knew in my mind they didn't start it till he went back and told them. Well 4;50 came around and it still wasn't done. I stated to him that because of the crowd, that's why I ordered at 2;00pm. He stated that it was to be ready at 4;45pm. THEN why did he write 4;40pm on the ticket order. Lie number one which I let go plus that statement of 10 min was to appease me. I HATE being lied to and appeased. Well fininally I asked for the manager. Confronting her she told me that she put the order in at 4;40pm. So the kid lied. Also she told me that 4;40pm which was on the ticket is when I wanted it started. I DON'T think so! I told her if that was the case then why didn't she tell me to come when it was ready at 5;00pm.. She stated it was a communication error. I told her on your part it was a communication error.in the end I didn't get out of there till 5;05pm plus she didn't even try to correct the error in some way. Also, when the meals were eaten the chicken was tough and not cooked all the way because of a rush job. The Salmon was good, I must say that. Anyways, I was lied to, appeased, and their efficiency and communication caused for a bad taste and bad meal in regards to the chicken dinner that cost close to 15 dollars. Bad service. I'm very understanding but definitely NOT THIS TIME. If this is the way it's going to be then Long Horn is my next alternitive. I do and have always enjoyed TEXAS Roadhouse. How unfortunate! Thank you

Texas Roadhouse employee

on 01/25/2019 went to the grandville michigan location we had a birthday party there all was going great, however the server Emily was indeed rude and very pushy for our party to pay and to leave . i was not very impressed . the wife and i have ate there several times before and no issues tonight not so much .

There is a server there ( Salice ) who was training a young gentleman his name slips my mind but however they were very professional . Salice was joking a little bit but still kept her mind on her job . both of them are OUTSTANDING .
Emily is one i do not want to be my server again .

Texas Roadhouse food

Ordered bbq chicken plate and a 11oz sirloin medium well (very little pink) got a rare steak very red and bloody I couldn't eat it all because the taste wasn't the same as it usual is when I purchase this. Live 30 mins away so wasn't like I was coming back after just getting home. It wasn't not enjoyable and felt it was a waste of money for me was disappointing

Texas Roadhouse management, hostess, service

My family and I have been going to this same location for YEARS! We've given them chance after chance to improve on what they are lacking. Today was the last straw! They have young teenagers at the greeter station that have such horrible attitudes, very unprofessional and extremely immature. My party and I waited 5min standing at the area where they ask how many in your party while their backs were turned playing with each others hair. Then one goes to roll her eyes (Melanie) as the other was finally asking us how many. Then we were skipped several times while waiting to be seated. After all of that headache, the management was HORRIBLE! She refused to take care of the issue and sided with the children. We were seated in the over 21 area, and I had a teenager with me. We were offered free appetizer from the bar staff where we were placed in the beginning and the management said NO without any hesitation. Then our meal came out incorrect, and management refused to come to our table to discuss this issue. Never again and I will make sure my family and friends do NOT attend this location. My family and I were treated so terribly.

Texas Roadhouse food

Hi, we rarely ever ever complain about anything but tonight we ordered carry out and received a sirloin that was completely pink inside and he ordered medium but this sirloin was cold and we were there on time to pick up our order. It had so much blood dripping out of it that he couldn't eat it and we used our Christmas gift card on this meal and are very disappointed. We ordered the potato skins appetizer and they were cold already when we picked them up. We usually love Texas Roadhouse but this was very disappointing.

Texas Roadhouse hostess, manager and how we were treated for asking them to accommodate my party, there was 3 handicapped people and 2 more of us.

First of all I have been going to Texas Roadhouse since they first opened there doors up in Clarksville Indiana, then we had one open in my hometown of Columbus Indiana. I have never and I truly do mean never complained one time since my very first visit! Of course not every visit was perfect, but things have always been handled so professionally and very customer service oriented. You can ask all my friends and people who know me, that if you ask me what my favorite restaurant is I have ALWAYS been very clear "Texas Roadhouse " then I go into detail of why it's my favorite, by listing the many reasons such as the food, the service and so on. Then I proceed to tell them they have to go and try it out! And I'm not just saying this, just this year I received several gift cards from my family and friends. Now I say all that to say, a few years I relocated to South Florida, and just a couple years back they finely put in a new one in Boynton Beach Fl, then I was so happy! Till tonight when we entered the restaurant I approached the server station and let them know we had 5 in our party and 3 of them were handicapped and we could not use a booth and could you please seat us in one of the back tables with chairs? The hostess replied no I'm sorry but we can push a 2 top to the end of the booth, and I replied unfortunately that would not work because out of 5 only 2 can even get in the booth. So I then replied if you could just put a few of the tables in the back together, which is what they have done in the past, she replied "well no because we dont even know if those tables are open and then we would have to like push the tables together, so it would take a while, I proceed to say that's ok we will wait, she said well your going to have to talk to the manager, so he walks up and says, I'm sorry if they have put the tables together in the past but we no longer allow it because the fire marshal will not let us. I just stood in complete silence, thinking well someone is going to try to help us find out a solution but they did not even acknowledge me again, then I just said ok...I guess we are leaving, the manager then replied "ok thanks" Ok I then proceed to go outside and call corporate to inform them what had just happened, the representative took my statement and said she was sorry and would make sure that she sends an email out to the upper management of that store for they can contact me to resolve the issue, and make sure they do everything they can to insure this does not happen again. Well as embarrassing as it was and we really could not go anywhere else at this point, we went ahead in and had them seat us, not it took the one family member over 5min to get in the booth because he is on a walker and the other person has only one leg so she was in tears by the time she got in the booth then the other has some physical issues and she has gained weight and she could barely get in the booth and once she was it was so tight she was uncomfortable the entire time, now mind you we had planned this trip for over 2 weeks and we had all got together for the Holidays, and decided on the roadhouse because again it used to be my favorite place to go out, I say that because all of that had really been put to the side because of how uncomfortable we all were. Then to make it even better my phone begins to ring and it says it's the Boynton Roadhouse that we are sitting in, so I did not want to make our night any worse so i did not answer, but after dinner i did listen to this awful voicemail that was left from the manager of the very store we are sitting in. I was completely amazed when I began to listen to what this manager was leaving on my voicemail, and he made it VERY clear that I apparently made a complaint to corporate about an issue you had with the Boynton Beach store, and just to let you know that is my store and I get all the emails from corporate, and it just went on and I have a copy of the voice mail, not one word was spoken about what the issue was, or I'm sorry you had a bad experience, nothing other than he is going to let me know who he is, and done in a very aggressive tone. The sad truth to all of this is now that I see this is how they handle issues in there location, then there will be no need for any further conversations because I will not have a place of bussiness leave me a very defensive message and then want me to return the call for they can tell me that they handled everything correctly, and that really the only reason he even called me was to let me know he was right. So unfortunately me and my family will no longer be a customer of Texas Roadhouse, and I'm clear by the tone of the message left for me by this manager, they will not be concerned at all about not coming back, and probably will smile that they accomplished something!
Thanks for allowing me to post this, I know it will not make a difference on there part, but hopefully others see this and understand that if they can do this to me and my family they will also do it to yours!

Texas Roadhouse service

On Friday evening My wife her friend and I went for dinner at the Texas Road House in Kingston. We arrived approximately 6:10pm with very little wait we were seated. My wife and I are regulars at this establishment so all was as expected to that point. The greeter provided us our rolls and the usually greeting then our server LIZZ, very happy that thru this nightmare of an evening she would be our server, took our drink and appetizer order. I had a coupon on my phone for the cactus blossom. I was told they had a fire in the fryer so they would substitute the blossom and offered boneless wings. I agreed and ordered them with 2 sauces a mild and hot both on the side. We always get sauce on side, as we fell the mild is a bit spicy. Lizz noted it in the order. When the wings were delivered they were brought out with the hot sauce covered on the wings. Lizz apologized and stated she would have a new order sent out. A person came from the kithen to understand the order. Lizz explained to him she had typed a note explaining that it was one order 2 sauces on the side. I had to explain it 3 times he kept changing it to 2 orders one with hot and one with mild. We finally got that cleared up, and waited on. After a while we asked LIzz if our wings were coming out, when she had come to take our order. She wanted to take the order earlier but we were still undecided. She took our order with no issue, then returned an apologized that the wings had not been dropped but would be out shortly. The wings did arrive shortly after. However she returned to explain to me that they could not provide me with the fish and chips I ordered due to the fryer being down, she suggested a substitute, I went with the Shrimp. In a respectable time frame my dinner came out, but only my dinner. when the server came to the table she was shocked to see two other people sitting with me, stating it was in as a single order. That's why it came so fast they serve single orders faster. She stated she would go in and check on the other meals. About 10 minutes later the other 2 meals arrived. They obviously had been sitting and waiting for the fish and chips that was on the ticket but would never appear. The tips were cold and over cooked. So that meal had to be returned. The waitress LIzz kept taking the blame and apologizing. I asked that she stop apologizing, that she was handling this situation that was clearly not her fault very well and we were very satisfied with her performance. So much so that at the end I in fact provided her with a 25% tip. I was surprised that I had not had a manager approach the table yet, usually if a fork is out of place a manager will come to insure it was corrected and all is well. I had completed an enjoyable meal, my wife's friend first time at the establishment was entertained, filled up on the bread and wings, boxed her meal. My wife on the other hand was not to happy. When her tips finally came out the right way she asked for a box, poured her meal in the box and walked out. Lizz returned with the bill and stated that there was an issue with the code for the cactus blossom and needed the code again. I went to take it out of my phone, It was dead. That is why I showed lizz the coupon and code prior stating my phone was dying. Obviously the number was transposed, no big deal I am sure, Low and behold now the manager comes out. Never introduced her self, Understood her name to be Jess. she was pleasant, asked for of all things the coupon code. I explained my phone had died, she offered to provide me with a coupon for my next visit for a cactus blossom since she could not honor the code copied, I said that was fine, I am here often. Then she states, or you could use it now if you like I said that is fine as well. I stated that's the small issue of the night, I went on to explain the order issue and she placed the blame on the waitress, stating that menu item was taken out of the system 2 hours ago after the fryer fire. That was insulting to me. I explained to her, had that been the case then the waitress would have been forced to come back to me when she entered the order and ask for a substitute, and my order would not have become a single order in which case all meals would have been delivered together. Jess replied with well I can check to see if it was the waitress or the system. She was very polite and professional and I can understand the stress of a grease fire in the kitchen and remaining open with a fryer down, So I can understand the situation. However a customer especially with a guest, first time appearance, should always be handled as though there are no issues. Your staff should never be made to take any blame. Had I believed what she said, Lizz, who in my eyes did a spectacular job handling a very difficult situation with many kitchen mishaps to one table, would have been penalized for my bad experience with a lousy tip. Going further, with some customers word would have gone out about how terrible the service at Texas road house is especially with the server LIzz. That would just be wrong. As I said my wife and I eat at the Texas Road House in Kingston on a Regular basis. We travel 30 miles to eat there when we have one 6 miles from our house. We eat at that one as well, the food and service there is good, but we feel that Kingston is far superior when it comes to customer serve. Tonight was an exception, I can understand why. So be up front and use the Grease fire don't hide from it. As a manager handling that situation if you cant be bothered to come to the table to address issues with the food or service, then don't be bold enough to come to the table at check out time to complain about an coupon code copied wrong. The idea of the coupon is to draw your customers to the establishment to spend more, the coupon was actually displayed to the server before the meal, so at the end of the meal I don't need a manager trying to make the establishment an extras $5.99 by disputing a code. Sometimes they need to use common sense. They may realize that $5.99 they made today will most certainly lose them hundreds in the future from word of mouth!
Well I guess I have vented to say what I have to say. In closing the one final thought would be if you find more servers like LIzz you wont have to worry about managers having a bad night, and not having time for customer service!

Texas Roadhouse mixed up meals and lack of concern for the patrons

Wednesday evening my husband and I along with a very good friend went to our local Texas Roadhouse (East Greenwich, RI) for a Christmas get together. We often come to this facility and have great service however Wednesday night was a nightmare. We sat at the bar to wait 30 minutes for a table and asked several time for peanuts to replace empty buckets but went without due to numerous promises. The 20 minute wait became 45 minutes to an hour. We ordered our meals no appetizers. The meals came almost an hour later and we all got served the wrong meals, sides and steak not cooked to what we ordered. Finally the meals arrived one at a time so we didn't eat together what so ever. No management ever came to apologize or comp any part of our order. The only thing that was added was a military discount which is not a comp in my opinion. Service was poor, too long of a wait. Then yo add insult to injury they seated us at a table in the bar. Although we are frequent customers I am certain to look for another restaurant to spend my money with employees who do care about customer service! Very disappointed with the entire staff and managers and especially this time of year.

I know that I will never return to Texas Roadhouse in Cranston, RI or any Texas Roadhouse locations. I will go to Burger King or Taco Bell before I ever go back there!

The fact that you are begging for a refund for your whole meal which you had no issue eating, maybe going to Burger King will be a good choice for you. You obviously cannot afford to dine at Texas RoadHouse. Trust me they are better off without you. I just feel sorry for the Burger King employees having to put up with your attitude. Hopefully you can afford to dine at Burger King and not make excuses to get your meal for free. But knowing you you will probably complain that the table was dirty and you had to wait five minutes for your burger and want a rull refund. You know what even going on foodstamps is less shameful than what you are doing.

Dear Texas Roadhouse,

On 11/29/2018 my family ate dinner at your establishment in Kenosha WI. My daughter was eating a roll that I buttered and she spit out a piece of plastic. We called over our server "Caleb" who got the Manager on Duty and she said "Well that's not good let me go look around in the kitchen to see if that's ours". I was taken back as I was concerned that perhaps a piece was already swallowed and my daughter is only 3 years old. Upon her return she said " All I can think of us that its the topping to our cinnamon" Here are new roll's.

That was it, no I am sorry, Did you still want to try and eat your food, NOTHING. So we paid and left.

I called the next day and spoke to a customer service person at [protected].

They explained how concerned they were that we had a foreign object in our food. Assured us that they would have someone call us regarding our concern and complaint.

12/07/2018 : No call no information. I decided to call back. They said they had no notes of me calling they would put me through to customer service. Lisa answered. She said she contacted her Wicashah store and they have no "Caleb". I explained that I was at the Kenosha store.

She will reach out to that store now.

Bottom line in I didn't eat the food, I would like to be reimbursed.
