Tepperman's Whirlpool Fridge Freezer

Omg.Teppermans are you kidding me,

whirlpool frige freezer new broke 2 months after purchase,so lets do the day purchased,july/11/2021 .Numerous phone calls to teppermans and whirlpool requesting a delivery date,3 different dates and still no fridge.I am told now new replacement will not arrive until april/may 2022.

Goimg on one year without a fridge freezer,what a joke.Teppermans has a policy not to refund our money so we can go somewhere else.I am a hard working man and work very hard to support my large family and we have been without a fridge freezer now for almost one year.Teppermans dosnt care about thier long time loyal customers,teppermans what a joke.We are dropping off the fridge to thier front door and they can keep my money,lesson learned,

Tepperman's Delivery

On Saturday January 15, 2022 I had the worst experience ever. I had just got a new sectional from teppermans and was very excited. I was told to have the room ready for when the delivery guys got there. So I did my part and got my old couches out and put to the road as they are now garbage. The delivery guys showed up and from the very start were very rude. They were tossing my new couch cushions around and not caring. They told me they couldn't fit the couch in, which they could have but they didn't try. My old couches are bigger than the new ones I had just bought as I was downsizing when I bought my new couches from teppermans. They took my couches and left. I was then told I could go pick the couches up from the store. First of all I should be granted free delivery at this point. But now I have to get people to pick these couches up. I went to the store to see when I can pick the couches up and was told the couches were brought back to London. So now I have to go 3 days without furniture in my house. I am 5 months pregnant with no furniture. I am never going to go through teppermans again. Something needs to be done about this. Worst experience ever. I would recommend the brick or Leon's over teppermans any day.

Desired outcome: Delivery fee back, free delivery.

Tepperman's Sectional from teppermans

Teppermans got me to purchase the 5 year warranty on my sectional told me if I have dogs I need the warranty cause it covers everything... The couch seam blew out and teppermans called it natural wear and tear treated me like garbage and refused to do anything to help me what so ever I went into the store in sarnia extremely rude and unprofessional staff

Tepperman's Washing machine

We bought a washing machine and dryer from teppermans in 2018. We have had nothing but issues with it. Warranty repair people expect everyone to just be available when they decide to come. They have repaired various components in the washer over at least 3 visits. This time it has once again stopped working and flooded the floor with water. Teppermans passes it off as being the warranty people's sole problem even though the warranty was purchased through them. We have been down at least two months in total waiting for repairs. Would not buy from teppermans they don't support their products

Tepperman's Fridge and stove

I ordered a fridge and stove March 13th, I wasn't told until we were doing the paperwork the fridge would be in, in 6 weeks. I have called at least 10 times since then. I have been asked to be called to find out what is going on and no one ever returns my calls or has any resolution I'm just told a new date each phone call. I have asked if I could get the same deal on a different fridge and told no. I was promised I would get a call August 20th guess what, no call? I have bought many products from your store you can probably see most of my house is furnished from you. I want some sort of resolution here. I need these appliances and I keep getting the run around. I would like the option to get the same deal with a different fridge because waiting 6 months for a fridge is insane and the lack of customer care is beyond terrible.

Tepperman's Service delivery: delayed delivery of dining set since 25th june 2021

ON 11th JUNE 2021, I was at your Windsor office to purchase a no of furniture which were scheduled to be delivered to my Sarnia address @ 298, Laurentian Crescent on 25th June, 2021.
To my surprise, the items were delivered in piecemeal and as I write this mail the DINNING TABLE is still outstanding.
The last delivery date was on 16th of July and to disappointment the delivery guys could not assemble the table, they claimed the table was a wrong one and was returned to the company.
No explanation has been given to me and no new date communicated as to when the new table will be communicated.
I called the customer care twice but was told I will get a return which I never did.
I look forward to a lasting solution as my kids and I are being forced to eat without a table.

Tepperman's Service - Recliner issue

Purchased recliner 03/04/2021
Reported the issue 04/08/2021 - zipper broken under seat - padding came out
Customer Care - reply 04/11/2021 - waiting for parts overseas
since that time i received 2 updates, the latest being today with the same response - waiting on parts from overseas. I explained that 3 weeks after receiving the recliner the issue occurred. He was quick to correct me it was 4 weeks after receiving the recliner. i told him this is ridiculous and asked to just replace the chair. I was adamant that the parts need to come from the mfg.
I am very disappointed in Tepperman's responses in dealing with my issue.

After this matter is resolved (when that may happen who knows) we will shop elsewhere for sure.

Desired outcome: Replace the recliner - it will be 4 months since purchased

Tepperman's Sony 65 inch television

We purchased a 65" sony television in June of 2019. we also purchased the extended warranty for an additional 3 years after the manufacturer coverage. On September 20, 2020 we had to call for Service to the television as it was freezing up. The technician Quick Fix TV came out and ended up replacing both the boards in the television. Then on November 9th 2020 had to call again as the TV wouldn't turn on at all. This time he took the Television to the shop and it was there for quite sometime as the part apparently had to come from China. Anyway we finally got it back but every time we turned on the TV it went through the whole restart of Android etc. and would take almost a minute to come on. It has been so frustrating, and then in February of this year 2021, it wouldn't come on at all, or, it would try to come on slowly then turn back off. Then we had to unplug the TV wait and plug it back in and try again. again it went through the Android thing, and after almost a minute we would get it to come on. We tried everything, new batteries in the remote, change the outlet to which we plugged it in and still to no avail. This TV sucks and never ever will I purchase another TV from Tepperman's as the warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on. I phoned the warranty company again May 18th and was told that the Technician would call us within 24 to 48 hours, it was over a week. He left a message for me to call him, but I am so fed up with this service company as it is only a temporary fix. I am sure the warranty company paid the Technical company more than what we paid for the TV already and so here we go again. I felt that I should send in my complaint and I will be calling Tepperman's Customer Service, though from what I have heard from many is that they don't do anything, you purchased the warranty and that is who you deal with. We have purchased so much from Tepperman's over the years and never had a complaint, but this is just too much.

Desired outcome: I would like a call from Tepperman's with a solution to this problem

I am sorry, my account is under my given name Margretha M Derikx. My account number is [protected]. Quick Fix TV picked up our television and he said he had to replace both the mother boards again (this is the second time he has done that) It is working now once again, but I often wonder how long before it breaks down again. The warranty states they will fix it or replace it, yet they keep fixing the TV and I worry about how long before we have another issue with it. This is the 3rd time in 2 years it has been in the repair shop. I am totally unsatisfied with this purchase and regret having purchased the television from your store with the warranty as the warranty is not worth the aggrevation.

Tepperman's Service

I purchased a fridge, stove and dishwasher from Tepperman's in Windsor. When they delivered the stove and fridge the fridge was not the one I purchased. I tried to call the store, but was the 10 in line to get a answer. I went to the store and spoke to the salesperson, showed him my bill and the right fridge. He in turn said that he would correct the problem. Two days later they came to pick up the wrong fridge and deliver the correct one. The correct one was damaged so I told them I did not want it and to return it and they said they would get me another. Which they did. The dishwasher was to arrive in the next few days. When you purchase the dishwasher they tell you that they have a company that will install it at a cost. We took the offer, called the company, as Tepperman does not deliver it, the company that installs it will pick it up at Tepperman. The morning of delivery I get a call from the company that Tepperman will not release it due to the the bill has not been paid. We paid the bill as I have the receipt s of the items we purchased. I told him that there must be a problem at Tepperman's. I tried calling but did not get anywhere, so I then went back to the store to sort this out. I asked to speak to a manager, and started to explain the situation, she had me waiting for 20 minutes before she came back and told me I still owed $797.00 on the balance. I told her that my receipt s show a $000.00 balanceshe then tried to tell me about how they came to this new balance, I told her I would not give them another penny. I would cancel the dishwasher, I will not pay more money. Show me where I owed this money, again I waited another 25 minutes until she had to look where the balance came from. When she returned with the new order form I asked why is the fridge on the form I paid for that. Her reply was that my fridge was on backorder, so it was not yet received that the cost was still there. I'm sorry but I had to let some of my anger out and told her I had received my new fridge. Can you please get this straightened out. After waiting again (I don't know how long) she approaches me with a new form with $0 balance. Now that is finally settled, she informs me that the dishwasher can be picked up in 3 days, my husband and I changed out plans for today, and now I cannot get the dishwasher today. She was not interested in my issue, she also commented that she would take $25.00 off the bill, big deal, I paid more in gas to get there. She had no genuine interest in these issues. I told her that I always purchased my furniture, appliances and other items from Tepperman, but I will be looking to shop elsewhere, and word of mouth goes a long way. This is unacceptable, maybe the employees should look at your MISSION statement!

Desired outcome: What can I say, pay for my install, be a little more thoughtful for the customers, I felt like this was unacceptable ,Would You Like This To Happen To You.

Tepperman's Aaron sectional and the awful customer service

Last March We contacted Zucora extensive warranty that We payed $299 for about Our broken sectional. The end piece had a main wood support break. The guy came and literally bolted it back together. I did question him why he was bolting a new piece back together. When he left My son sat in it and all we could feel was the bolt on Our back. I called the service rep said he would let Zucora know. A month went by and I had to call them. They said be patient with covid. So I left it until sept. I had to keep calling them. I tried to speak to the sales rep for help. He called once to the wrong phone number and never called back. I went into the store in December.. I was in touch with customer service.. they weren't too concerned I have been living with a broken sectional for this long. I was rudely hung up on from the Chatham store after asking to talk to the store manager. She would not talk to me, so I took this to the Better Business Bureau. Someone finally came out to fix it. The darn part that was ordered was a cushion! It needs a whole new back on it with a new support. So here We go waiting for this crappy furniture to be fixed again! My Husband and I are beyond livid. I have never seen such awful customer service as Teppermans and Zucora. I will never step foot in the store again and I'll be telling everyone Our experience. I honestly want my money back and they can have this garbage.

It has not resolved, I am now waiting for My SECOND brand new couch.. for replacement of this furniture. The first one came damaged. This is the cheapest furniture I’ve ever had. I will not buy Your merchandise ever again. Delivery guys showed up smelling like weed... so unprofessional! We are now into July, furniture was to come in June.

Tepperman's Sectional

To Tepperman team

I bought my sectional sofa at Tepperman Kitchener store. Short after I saw some small damage between seats but i've been busy I always somehow forget to contact the store and when I contact them they said it is to late that my manufacturer warranty expired. But somehow they decided to take look at the problem. They sent someone to make pictures of the sectional and the guy comes he send all the pictures I was waiting 2 weeks to hear back from them. Finally I received email back saying that they can repair the sectional but that has to be sent overseas and I have to wait 12 weeks and I have to pay 230 $ I said ok just to have the sofa at least 2 more years. But I asked them if they maybe give me in store credit this way will be cheaper for them. So today I get email back from customer service she told me that manufacturers won't give any in store credit because of the warranty and because my sectional was floor model. I was socket when she told me that. I was not told that sectional was floor model if they told me I will not pay 4000$. With this letter I am asking someone to contact me give someone explaining to me why the truth was not told when I was buying this sectional. I will appreciate if someone can contact me regarding my sectional and hoping that tepperman will fix the problem and try to give me some credit to exchange the sectional or give me credit so I can purchase another sofa.

Tepperman's amy et queen mattress and box spring

I place an order over the phone and got sales person hillary segeren on july 21st my bed was to be deliverd on sat aug 1st no one came I called the store got hillarys anwering machaine left msg no one got bck sun came and went then momday I called again I got to talk with someone briefly then transferd to hillary again I left another msg no its going on thursday and still havnt heard any news on my purchase can you help resolve this issue thank you...

Tepperman's freezer

Paid cash for a freezer on 3/14/20, watched the sales person reserve a freezer from the London store, we were told the freezer could be picked up at the Windsor store 3/19/20. I went to pick up the freezer on 3/19/20 and I was told they didn't have my freezer in Windsor or London. So we tried calling the Windsor store and that was useless, Nobody has a clue about anything and to speak to someone in charge, be prepared to wait for 20 or 30 minutes just to get disconnected. We'll never shop there again.

Tepperman's dining room table

I purchased a dining room table and chairs March 17 2018.. at Teppermans Kitchener .
I noticed 3 weeks ago that my table had many white pitted marks on more than half the table.I took pictures and went to the store to show them the damage.They were very rude and told me since I didn't have the extended warrantee they couldn't to help me.Who buys a warrantee.for a table?I kow I only paid 675.00 but I expected it to last longer than this.I will never buy anything from teppermans again.I will be sending you pictures soon.Marie Mccarthy.[protected] or [protected] Email [protected]@rogers.com..I went to your store Oct 4 2019.Expecting to hear from you soon.

Tepperman's washer

I went in two weeks ago to purchase a washing machine. At that time I was told there were none in storage that would have been Tuesday Sept. 17th the sales person at that time said there would be a shipment in more then likely on the Thursday Sept. 19th. and they would call with a time for delivery. I waited and got no call on the 19th I finally called him back on Sept.23rd and at that time he informed me the delivery had still not come in. I finally got the call on Oct.3rd that they were in and to schedule a date for delivery. The soonest I can get my washer is Oct. 17th a month for the time I ordered this is just so not acceptable and after tis I will no longer deal with Teppermans,

Tepperman's living room furniture/ customer service

Due to the fact of the way your firm has treated my Family (Todd & Nikki McIntyre, 190 Lake Margaret Trail, St. Thomas) ordered a replacement for defective furniture and then told when the replacement came in you sold it to someone else. Now you say the product has been discontinued. Didn't return calls including being promised by the store manager to personally return the call. We have dealt with Teppermans for years, which I am certain you can lookup in your records, however, if your record-keeping is as good as your Customer Service, you may not have any records. I don't need to continue dealing with a firm such as yours where your Customer Service is very inadequate.

Tepperman's washer

Their Extended Warranty company The Walker Group has been giving me a runaround for 3 weeks. As long as they work with this Warranty company I will not be purchasing from any tepperman's. Teppermans has been no help in this matter. The Walker Group has been giving me the runaround for 3 weeks about getting my washing machine fixed. What's the point of tepperman's selling an extended warranty when you can't even get anything fixed. I will be telling all my family and friends about this horrible situation I'm in. You spend all this money for an extended warranty and you have to fight for people to do their job. You called The Walker Group and they tell you to call this number and Whirlpool says they're still waiting on the Walker Group. The Walker Group warranty that tepperman's steals with is the worst I do not recommend buying the extended warranty from teppermans.

Tepperman's recliner

7 months ago I bought a recliner the handle became loose a technician was sent out to fix it low and be hold a few months later it became lose again the tech came again said the whole recliner mechanism needed to be replaced he ordered the mechanism and would return at a later date to replace it. Which he did 2 months ago today the handle is loose and almost falling off teppermans says wait until we can get a tech out there. Hopefully they can fix it this time been 3 times already this is ridiculous will never buy another think from teppermans

Tepperman's media fireplace and console

I was sold a media fire place and console on July 10/2019. I was sold this by Daniel Good. He will not answer my calls. I was told by Daniel that my fireplace would be no longer then three weeks. I have been calling for two weeks and I am put on hold and was told by Kim in the office that the mantle would not be in until October and the insert fireplace is over seas with no eta. I have contacted Emerson the manager twice yesterday, reached him to have him leave me a voice mail saying he can not work miracles in five minutes and if I would like the floor model. First of all your sales people are awful in the Sarnia branch. They are misleading and your store should not be selling something that you do not carry further more charging a customer for it. This is false advertising and misrepresentation. Not once have I been offered a different unit or even an apology. I am disgusted and will be calling better business bureau to report this situation. I want that unit my basement is ripped apart waiting for it and I have three children that have nothing to set there new tv on and it's summer time. Also would like to remind you that I purchased a kitchen table a few months back and the chairs had to be sent back for the wood chipping off and my daughter getting a chunk of wood in her bum. I did report this and talked to a manager from out of town and the three chairs were replaced. If your wondering why your store is never busy look at the way it's ran and how customers are lied too to make a sale. I would like my entertainment center and a resolution I also paid for delivery. Tepperman's sales people

3 years ago my wife and I bought a lovely couch and chair and wine cooler and microwave from a very lovely saleslady at the kitchener store. Everything is good... Paid off on time... No complaints... Till now! I went in to pickup my tv which I bought online and wanted to also get a mattress. But what did I get? I was pestered and followed by ignorent sales persons all around the store. Congradulations teppermans! You've turned into leons! The most enjoyable thing we loved about shopping there was not being pestered... But I see thats changed! We havnt dealt with leons in over 25 years cause of this! Is this the new teppermans? If so... We wont be back ever!
