Have sent the following mail to the Nodal Officer Tata Sky and no response even after 4 days...very disappointed with the company and its ignorant management & Employees.
The one name that makes any Indian feel proud is TATA..
Unfortunately today it is a name that I think I should be ashamed of and brand it as a company that does not believe in providing service to its customers and treats them as just another number in its books.
For the last one month..my tata sky has not been functional. I have complained on three occasions 3, 11, 21st of April but to no avail. I have been assured of the engineer's visit, I have got the messages but have yet to see how one looks. An engineer had called after the second complaint but did not come. I had to follow up with him and finally after I gave him all the directions he is yet to reach. After the third complaint I got the message as usual with the time of visit but am still waiting.
It seems the company on the whole has rotted. Right from the management down to the executive level all have become complacent. How else can you explain that on one hand my problem persists and on the other you are shamelessly asking me to renew my subscription and making me pay for a job you did not do?
What makes things amusing is that you don't have the basic courtesy to even inquire through feed backs whether we are happy with the resolution of our problems.
Kindly look into the matter immediately and have may service restored or else I will be compelled to escalate this matter even higher and also approach the consumer redressal cell.
I have 2 connections with Tata Sky and i am having No Signal issue for the last 1 week [ between 30 March and 4th April] . After repeated calling on 4th April 2015 [ Most of the times the call was in queue to agent], to the contact center, i finally was able to talk to one of the customer care executive. The customer care took note of my issue, and gave me an order no: NS1504044315326 and said technician will call me in 4 hours, the person never called me on Saturday. On Sunday afternoon [ 5th April], the technician came to visit and said an answer, which i am not able to digest till now. He said there is a huge congestion in Tata Sky and suggested me to move to Airtel / Videocon / Dish TV. He also demanded money for working on a Sunday. I asked him to leave and tried the contact center some 10 times and no luck to reach the customer care. [ You can check for my call records from [protected] and [protected]].
I think may be the guy is right and today i bought a new Dish TV and it seems to be fine till now.
Not sure, Tata sky wanted me to leave them in this fashion, after having their connection for the last 7 years.

I have installed TATA Sky a year back. since last 2 months often it's getting disconnected and not working. family members are frustrated. customer care no doesn't work when it works we are kept on hold for more than 20 mns and registered complaint feedback / status is not given. still no response and no service representative called though they assured some one will call. fed up with the service.
I had taken annual dhamal mix pack with marathi channels in 2014 feb, but many hindi and marathi channels were not coming since 4 months due to mpeg 4 / hd set top box not available in our home set top box so we were asked to purchase hd set top box @ 590 for replacing old set top box. But after replacement of set top 18 box by paying rs 590 all marathi channels stopped coming in daytime, then again tatasky charged for rs 100 to replace connector at dish. But still the complaint persisted next day and again it was attended and after 4 - 5 days rs 320 were charged for attending complaint, with balance of 198 on 13feb and i was asked to recharge rs 2150 for renewal of my dhamal mix [protected]@ 2300 / yr expiring on 19feb. Accordingly i paid rs 2150 by credt card but rs 320 were deducted for second complaint, i ased rs 50 english news channel pack and paid 500rs for recharging to renew dhamal mix pack with english news pack, the balance shown was 2486. 91 of which after deducting rs 2300 for one year balance is shown 186 and next due date of recharge shown 1st april 2015 instead of [protected] and as balance of 186 is available it should be further availble for english channel for 3 months @50 / month.
Please correct renewal date to feb 2016 for dhamal pack. Refund rs 320 charged for second repairs after 6 days as it was told that no problem will come after payment of rs 100 to imran of tata sky and he will attend free but did not attend second complaint even after repeated complaints. For last 4 monyhs many marathi and hindi channels were not available but no deduction was given to us,

In short tata sky is looting consumers over charging without information and bill receipts on repairs and failed to serve as per terms

I have taken new tata sky dth connection from m / s. Taj electronic. Shop no 6, munciple complex, rajahmundry in august 2014. At the time of payment he taken my id proof xerox copy. As per company rules there is no requirement of id proof xetox mr subharmanyam told when i call him on today at around 03. 15pm on mobile no [protected]. I think he is the incharge of rajahmundry area. No body giving any response about changing of name. .
I also try customer care many time but no response i think this is not a correct way to cheat valuable customer.
I request to see my issue and take serious action.

The Worst customer service i have ever seen/faced with TATA SKY.
The tata sky engineer fixed a local cable which had came out in around 2 and half months.
Contacted tata sky customer service and two persons came to fix the issue, they scolded the initial tata sky engineer who had installed with local cable very badly. These two persons tried to fix the issue, then arisen a new problem of "New Service". They told we shall come back and fix the issue.
After that it is the 6th day as on 02-11-2014 and the problem is still the PROBLEM. Tried contacting the customer service from the next day i.e., 29th oct after long very long wait of atleast 1-1.5 hr also they will not pick the call. continuously tried calling them and atlast, on 1st nov mid-night 12:00 pm somebody answered the call and took the complaint and said that before 10:00 am on 2nd nov you will receive a call from tata sky engineer. I neither received a complain reference number nor a call from tata sky engineer. i again called customer service and after a long wait of 1.5 hrs they lifted the call at around 9:00 am and after several transfer of calls, senior person took the complaint again and was told that within 2 hrs your problem will be solved. It's 15:00 now, i just got a msg saying complaint has been registered. Till now nothing happened. Again i want to contact the customer service about the status. I have called and waited from 12:00 to 14:45 on call but they never picked up the call.

I am having problems with basically all of the branches that i have tried before (SA, Midrand and Randburg). I am also having problems with recieving responses from the various employees at tata. We have 5 vehicles that were purchased brand new with maintenance plans on each. Every time the vehicle goes in for a service or a repair it comes back half job with new problems. We have tried resolving this with meetings with the branches and tata SA however SA never responds to us. The waiting period is lacking terribly and we are never given a courtesy vehicle. Currently we pay for 5 vehicles a month, however there are months that the vehicles are constantly in at tata. This is a waste, AND a loss of money seeing as we need the vehicles in order to generate an income. We have recently requested copies of the original job cards, unfortunately what it seems like from my side is they really do not give a hoot about their customers and enjoy ignoring the requests sent to them. These are all just causing pains and problems and we would like some assistance immediately.

my appointments for the day to entertain the TataSky engineer who hasn't turned up and my TATA Sky is still not working.I
have given reminder calls to your service Desk but still the Issue is
unsolved. Such a Pathetic Service is absolutely low standard from the customer
care executive who answers my call to the engineer who does not turn up
on time (or maybe will not turn up at all).
I have been using a Tata sky standard connection. My subscription ID is [protected]. I wanted a HD connection for my other television, so i called at tata sky helpline number on 21/07/2014 to get all the information about it. I was told that there will be no activation charges n i will have to pay Rs2000 and at this price i will get the tata sky HD box and when i asked about HD services and channels i was told that i will get 2months hd access and recharge free with the tata sky HD box, so i asked them to install a HD connection. On 22/07/2014 a service man came to install the connection, i told him many times not to make hole in my window but he damaged my window.He did the recharge of Rs2000 for me and when i spoke to the customer agent i was again told by the service man and the customer agent that i will get 2month HD services and recharge free, and after 2months its my wish if i want to continue to the HD service i will have to book a HD package if not i can still enjoy the standard package. So i gave Rs2000 to the service man and he told me that within 24hrs my HD channels will start. And he told me that my tata sky dish is supposed to be changed as its a rule made by the company, i asked him to come on Sunday 27/07/2014 but he didn't came and he didn't picked up my calls. When the HD services on my television didn't got started within 24hrs i caled the tata sky helpline number and i had also send a message from my mobile number on 23/07/2014 and i was told that a tata sky customer executive will contact me but i did not got any response till 24/07/2014. So on 25/07/2014 i again called the tata sky customer service and told them my problem n asked them why my HD services has not started yet. Then i was told a completely opposite information which shocked me completely..I was told that i dont have a HD connection. To get the HD services i will have to upgrade my standard connection to HD connection at a cost of Rs990. And then i will have to choose a HD channel package according to my wish and choice and then Iam suppose to make a recharge monthly semi-annually or annually for the package i choose only then i will be able to get the HD services. If that was the procedure then i would have upgraded the standard connection which i already had to HD connection why would i get another connection. After that on26/07/2014 i got a call from the tata sky customer executive regarding the calls and message done by me, i told the executive my problem and the false information given to me and the customer agent told me i will receive a call from executive head regarding my problem, but no one contacted me so i again called the tata sky customer service on 27/07/2014 but they are not taking any step and everytime iam being told that an executive will contact me or a technichal head will contact me but no one is contacting me, my complaint is not getting executed. I want my complaint to get executed very soon or i will sue the company for doing fraud with the customer and giving false information and not assisting the customer with their queries and problems properly.

3 months back i have upgraded my standard tatasky box([protected]) to HD box. I have not return the stadard set top box to your team by that time.
On 18-Oct-2013 i have called the Helkp-desk team and requested for the multi TV connection. They have raised a request# 1-[protected]. Instead of creating the for multi TV, they raised for relocation. Executive(Name: Venkatesh Mobile:[protected]) has installed the setup box and confirmed that it will be activated by end of day.
After that i called the help desk team on 19-oct-2013, They said the second box is not listed in my ID and asked me to wait for 2 hrs. I keep on calling the help desk, they simply said wait for 2 hrs. I called 20 to 25 times to your help desk for the solution. no one has given the correct solution.
On 23-Oct-2013 The Help desk team said that the box is already diconnected, So we can not activate it. So i have asked them to create a request#1-[protected] to active it. On 27-Oct-2013 one executive(Name: Shravan V ) visited the house and said that He will take the request to activate it. But nothing is happened till date.
On 27-Oct-2013 i have raised another ticket#1-[protected], they have done nothing and closed the on 30-Oct-2013.
Below are my Observations:
1) The help desk team created the wrong ticket, even though i clearly mentioned for multi TV connection.
2) I called 15 to 20 times between 18-oct-2013 to 23-Oct-2013. The only word they said IS 'Wait for two Hrs, will resolve your problem'. When ask them to escalate it, they transfer it to their floor leader. The supervisors also not able to provide the correct solution.
3) Whenever i called the help desk team, every time they ask for the set top box id and card id details. Why don't they maintain the log details when the customer provides first time.
4) When the second request raised, They confirm that by 26-oct-2013 they will resolve the problem but nothing has happened.
5) I got the calls from the technical teams by every day morning, i need to explain the problem from day1. They simply said we will resolve the problem by end of day.
6) The Executives close the tickets without conforming with customers. Every time we need to raise the new ticket for that.

My husband bought a brand new Tata Xenon 3lt double cab at Tata Brakpan on 25th of March 2013. The vehicle was towed 3 times already with the following reason's given by Tata : 03 Apr 2013 on 1 107km at TATA Brakpan, The dealership secured the earth wire on the computer box, 02 May 2013 on 2 118km at TATA Brakpan, Replaced starter motor, 5 May TATA Nelspruit, Attend to a bad connection on the cam sensor. I had to rent a vehicle to get home to Brakpan, that cost me R2094.00, of which Tata head office, Andriehet Hattingh notified me that they don't replace vehicles and that they don't reimburse for car rental. I then spoke to Mr Phonnie Celliers on [protected] the Area Manager, who assured me that he will give me R500 for petrol money to collect the vehicle in Nelspruit (This was promised to me on 10/05, but nothing was deposited to my account), as they can't deliver it. My husband arrived in Nelspruit to collect the vehicle on 11/05, and he was told that it was not ready, however we where told by head office that the vehicle is ready for collection. My husband had to wait 20 min, for the manager to find the keys for the Xenon as it was not in the normal key's box. On arriving home, we only saw that the vehicle was bumped, I have the photo's to proof this. I have emailed a query to Mr Phonnie Cilliers, and have not as yet received a reply. I have also logged a complaint with Hellopeter.com, but Tata is not registered with them. I demand a brand new replacement on the Xenon and a full refund on all expenses incurred.
Our subscriber ID is [protected] and we have raised an up gradation request on the 2nd of November, 2012 and we have been hearing from Tata Sky that there is a technical problem on my Set-top box and they will not be able to upgrade the box from a normal set-top box which i bought from Tata Sky.
Now my problem is unique to Tata Sky. I have 2 set-top boxes that i have purchased from Tata Sky. One in 2007 and the other in 2010-11. Tata Sky has made my 2010-11 connection a primary connection and since I did ask for a removal from a multi-room setup the 2007 box was executed. Now when I want to upgrade the 2007 box to an HD or an HD+ connection, I have been informed that I will need to first active the 2007 box and then only upgrade. As a customer, I will like to upgrade from an old box and thus I did ask for an upgrade from the 2007 box which is not happening for the last 10 days.
One end I hear from the Tata Sky Customer Care that you are a premium customer and they treat you like dirt. The installation guys have to be pleaded to come home to have a look and repeatedly they disappoint you in making you wait and never come after promises. I have had innumerable SMS's stating a time of visit without even asking the customer and this is absolutely painful.
The set-top box I am trying to upgrade is Digicomp No: [protected] (2007) and the Digicard number is [protected] and since my request has not been taken seriously, I demand a refund of my services that i have paid for.
I would like to ensure that no customer is taken as a piece of ### and this is absolutely unacceptable. I can't imagine an upgrade not happening for the last 10 days and no technical problem can last so long.
My current active connection is set top box no: [protected] (2010 -11) and the active Digicard is [protected].
There are various people who have been trying to give me a bad time and I will like to name them for your benefit later
1. Mr. Rathore - Channel Partner - +[protected] - This person has been asking the engineer not to visit my place though he is supposed to schedule the visit
2. Engineer - +[protected] - Never visits on the scheduled time
3. Numerous Service staff - Please do look at the customer records to see the number of times i have called and wasted my money and time but never got a problem solved
I would like to terminate my services as Tata Sky is not in a position to take a simple request to upgrade my connection and I will request your help to get this going.
I think you love your customers to attrite and this is absolutely ridiculous. I planned to sort out this today in vain and thus now will not request anything else!
If Tatasky is unable to provide me a basic HD connection, I would demand a refund and to my investment made to Tata Sky and I would like Tata Sky to honor my request to walk off as a customer. My request is to solve this request within the next 24 hours or pay back the amount of money I have paid you till the 10th of March 2012.

We bought this vehicle as a demo model with low mileage reading. After one day we had to take it back due to a fault on the Speedo gear that needs to be repaired.
The XENON was at your Pretoria branch for approximately 3 weeks.
At 44424 km the front bearings need to be replaced.
At 54133 the starter needed to be replaced.
At 58648 the Speedo gear again
At 62053 the Speedo gear again and transfer case.
Over this period The TATA XENON were out of commission for approximately 6 months which I had to pay the monthly installments without the use of our vehicle due to TATA SOUTH AFRICA’s poor after sales service “NOT as marketed”
On the last job TATA gave KOOPS a quotation for the transfer case that seems to be the reason for the Speedo drive malfunction however after 3 months TATA send the wrong parts “poor after sale’s”
After complaining we must now pay an additional R40000 At several stages in the process you (TATA SOUTH AFRICA) admitted it was a mistake on TATA SOUTH AFRICA’s side but the client must pay.
I started the process in contacting Pretoria North branch to lodge a complaint. After 2 weeks with great frustration and nothing done I manage to get hold of your Client centre. The answers from them are always:” tomorrow” and then” pay Tata user pay” “There is nothing we can do for you sir”
I even left messages at your senior management and directors however, they are not interested in their client’s complaints or TATA SOUTH AFRICA’S image.
You will leave me no other option as to seek legal assistance, notify the financial institutions, lay a complaint at the Compensation Board, seek assistant from the ombudsman and let the general public know the facts of your product and service if this is not resolved within 07 days from this date, hope fully the media will get TATA SOUTH AFRICA’S attention and warn the public about the bad after sales service. Me and some other disappointed clients will start a class action against TATA for not complying with their marketing material (followed by legal action at several Assosiations)

The Newly procured and installed 11 Apr 2012 Vide Tata SKY ID [protected]/ RMN [protected], Digicom set is not working since three days even after locking the complaint to the local authorized service representative "Paul Electronics Nowgong (Assam). Cell:[protected]". They are ignoring the part of their service against the subscription made for the package. Quick response will be highly appreciated.
Service is spell bound for the prepaid service tax taken from the customer of Tata sky has failed to provide. This has become common phenomena that customer will run around or frequently ring the customer care to get the prompt service against prepaid service tax.
It has become hectic day by day some millions of user instead doing the defect promptly they are twisting the issue diplomatically and delaying unlimited. Here is a case happen with the user. The set was installed on 11 Apr 2012 Vide Tata SKY ID [protected]/ RMN [protected] by dealer and service Engineer, Paul Electronic from Kathiya Tali, District Nowgong Assam. Just one month after the set is not functioning. Also warranted service has to given by the Tatasky dealer and service engineer when the defect has intimated but unfortunately same has been delaying since one week without service. At the moment when the customers complain logged with the dealer they have switched off their mobile. Why do they twist when they come to know that has to be given free service? Thus the Customers are being preyed regularly by the TATASKY since the company setting up. This is nothing but a conspiracy of the hiding hectic service to cheat the millions customers. By declaring and advertising the pseudo service Tata sky is directly looting and fooling the millions. I request the as the customers are paying advance prepaid amount, they are right s to have the service as punctually as they are paying in advance, but the customers are preyed and cheated by every service provider regularly. As a sincere citizen I would like to invite every customers/users to know their right to have service against the service tax paid in advance as prepaid recharging. It is my sincere request to every citizen of India to raise the Voice to stop against the open exploitation and corruption done by the Service providers directly or indirectly, which also Government of Indian Aficionados’ are also supporting as they benefited by commission of fraud service.
It was on the 29th of April’’11 when a Sales Consultant: Allen Makhaya came to deliver my car, 2011 TATA VISTA INI, WHITE, CHASSIS: MAT611226APR90960, REG: BH14XVGP, to me it looked brand new accept that there was a funny mark on the front bumper & when I asked him he said to me it is the polish they used it left a mark & it will come off as we wash it & you know I didn’t argue with him, I said it's ok.

nd August’11 my husband took my car in back to the dealer’s workshop for my spot light to be replaced as it was dead, while has was waiting a technician (Carel) went to him & asked him when were you involve in an accident & my husband said never, why then Carel gave him an invoice with a report state: When the light was removed, found visual repair marks on front bumper & once the light was removed the complete inner housing of L/F foglamp fell out & found visual damaged to inner of fog lamp. My husband came to fetch me & we approached our Sales Consultant (Allan)He was so defensive & he said to us, I gave u a brand new car & you already had a car for four moths there’s nothing I can do about it. Attached is an invoice. Even today my spot light is not working
we went back because the light wasn’t functioning anymore & the was a funny sound in Gearbox when I change gears, then we requested to see the Workshop Manager (Christian Goosen) he said to us he will check the vehicle himself, during the day he called me & said the problem is not the globe instead they need to replace the whole inner including the spot light & that will cost me around R1500 otherwise there’s nothing much he can do. Then I requested the contact details for their Principal Dealer as I explained my problem to him & this is the feedback he gave me, He didn’t even made an effort to check the car.

rd August we took the car to Tata Franchise in Menlyn the car was making a sound in the Gearbox, they opened the car & they said they had to replace a Gearbox/Top, my car was there until the 25
th November, I took the car & I was on my way to work guess what.. it was shaking the whole body on the speed between 40-60km per hour, yesterday I took the car back to the Dealer & I asked for one of their Supervisors to test drive the car with me, after the test drive he requested that I leave the car with them, I called them by 16h30 yesterday to ask if my car is ready & they said to me the car need new CV joints how possible is that? Today I’ve been waiting for their call & till now I’m still waiting?
Todayit is the 30th of Nov'11, I went to Tata to collect. My car & when I get there a lady by the name of Petro said to me the problem is not CV Joints is SIDE SHAPHTS & they waiting for parts
Please assist cause, this is getting too much.

Worst part is concerned people of Tata Sky don't have even time to respond for last 12-14 days & my account is being chareged for even stop services. What a pity???????
with this recent experience I can say with 1000% confidence that there can be no competition to Tata Sky for pathetic customer servicing & customer cheating!!!

My tata sky sub Id is-[protected].I have recharde 400 rs on 14-0711, after 3 days I got a problem in set up box so I was unable to view serviced.In this regard I called 15-20 times to tatasky cust care, continously foe 10 days, meanwhile mu problem was automatically solved.For a professional courtesy I called to tata sky not to sent anybody to my home bcz the problem was solved.But after twao days they again deducted 350 rs from mu a/c agains setuo box changed.I called to tatasky that no body has visisted to my home than how can u change my set up bix, i called them 15-20 times again for a week than refubded this amounyt.But when I switch on my TV tham it was shoeing -26 rs, thanm I again call to tatasky, they told me that your set up box is not working we have to replace.for this regard I chave ref no-1-[protected], but after a week I have not receved any call and no body has visited my home.After my recharge of 400 rs I am unable to view serviced for a 5 days only.
